The sales staff is first class. Kurt assisted us with several items, he communicated with us during the order process and kept us informed of any delays. He was more than a sales person his product knowledge exceeds most designers. We thank him for his 5 Star commitment to the customer.

We had a great experience with Curt as our designer. He was always prompt, helpful, and willing to work with us and our needs. He was also lots of fun! We have used Bassett for years and have always had great service.

The whole staff was so friendly and kind. Ashley did a room plan for us and chose gorgeous fabrics and wood pieces for my home. About 6 years ago we used a designer to purchase many pieces of furniture from Bassett. All excellent quality BTY. Still have everything and it all looks and feels like new! When we were there we met Curt. He was great to deal with. And even though we were there with our designer he spent time with us. Over the next few years we had been in a few times looking for different pieces. Somehow, Curt always remembered us. All of those visits, Bassett didnt have quite what we were looking for. Never the less, every time we went in Curt was there with a warm greeting! Recently, we were in need of an additional sofa and chair. We shopped all of the usual suspects. We didnt need quite as nice as we had purchased before. But we didnt want to waste money on some of the poor quality products that are on the market today. We stopped back in Bassett. Curt was there and as usual, even though he had not seen us in more than a year, he knew us and were glad to see us again! We explained our needs. He took us to exactly what we had been searching for! The price and quality were perfect! If you are in need of great furniture, check out Bassett! Make sure to ask for Curt! He has been there for years. He has a great eye and can definitely help in making a difficult, and sometimes impossible decision easy.

Curt has amazing design expertise and always gets our esthetic plus he is just fun to work with! Russell is a great team player pulling all the details together. Bassett sells expensive furniture but their quality is not worth the price. I spent over $5000 for a leather sectional and a few months after the warranty expired one of the recliners broke. I called Bassett customer service to ask if they would assist in the repair and they said no. They made it clear that they would not stand by their product. I have never had a furniture mechanism break before. For $5000, I would expect better quality and better customer response. There are a lot better options available than Bassett.

Recently I purchased furniture from Bassett in Greensboro NC and the entire experience has been great. The Design Consultant, Kathlyn Heller, was great to work with and walked me through the entire process with patience and kindness. The delivery team was prompt and professional. When we had slight problem with part of our order, the Store Manager, Georgia Neal, responded immediately to our concern and within 24 hours had our exchange handled. I can honestly say the customer service I experienced was exceptional!!Thank you Kathlyn and Georgia for a great experience and I will certainly be back!

This review is for the Greensboro, NC store. We were looking for a sofa and matching love seat and we needed a larger than standard sofa. During our first visit we were assisted by Mr. Russell James. Russell was very personable, knowledgeable, with no pressure and he helped us to find exactly what we wanted on our first visit. After we completed the paperwork I had a few design questions for our new room. Russell kindly offered his contact information to where I can send him texts and emails as needed when searching for items to go into my new room. Russell has a very good eye for design and helped pick out our fabric for our sofa, love seat and accompanying pillows and was very knowledgeable with the various fabric choices to best suit our family lifestyle. Our order had a 30 day lead time which was on time/delivered within the 30 days as quoted. During the order and even thereafter I emailed Russell various times. Russell replied to my emails in a timely and professional manner. The level of service Russell provided was excellent and the quality and comfort of our new Bassett sofa and love seat is top notch!

The sales person met us at the door. She asked us what we were shopping for and the price range. She immediately said we were not going to find anything there. Our stated budget for a sofa was $999. She casually walked us around pointing out the base models in the only fabrics that price range and wrote us off. She used lots of bid terms she thought made her look smart about fabrics.What she didnt know.1. Never assume based on what someone is wearing. I was not wearing my rings or watch that day. I have never felt so snubbed or judged.2. She asked my daughters budget. (She had recently graduated college and was furnishing her apartment). Casually asked what her major was. Obviously salary gauging. She did not know my budget.3. Fancy terms mean nothing and were wrong. You were talking to a Textile Engineer from NC State. The best Textile School in the World. Young person knew more about fabric and furniture than you.4. She openly shamed a competitor, Ashley Furniture. I have a dinette set from them 15 years old in great condition. The sofa my daughter purchased was made by Ashley. When we found the sofa on a website for a sale price the store couldnt match because it was so low, they graciously said she should save her $$ and buy it on line. they said the company was reputable.When my husband and I downsize next year I will be shopping at Ashley Furniture in Greensboro.5. I purchased a bedroom suit from Bassett years ago. The top of the nightstand came off when I lifted it years ago. Way too late for any warranty so we just put it back on and have made do with it. Just keep it in mind when you think your purchase will last.

Beautiful store, great selection of high quality furniture. Very knowledgeable salesman... Prices are on the high side, but you definitely get what you pay for here.This is NOT disposable furniture like cheap stuff you find in other stores.

Sales people are very pushy. How do they justify their prices??????

This is a nice place to shop and the sales people are helpful. We purchased a sofa, chair and half, and ottoman that looked good for about a year. Little did we know that this was dry-clean only material and it looks horrible now. We have purchased higher quality upholstered furniture at Haverty and IKEA. I would even go to Rooms to Go before I ever return to Bassett.

Would love to bring a recliner i purchased along with a sectional and accent chair with ottoman, . Back my truck up to the front door of the Greensboro Bassett and set fire to it, but now that wouldnt be nice. But I do get great pleasure in just thinking about it....the only reason this review got one star - you cant post a review without it

The staff at Basset, Greensboro, were great. However, I found their prices to be higher than their competitions. I did not purchase.

This is the second time we’ve purchased furniture from Bassett . The first time we were able to get Bassett to take items back . They’ve remade two outside cushions but for some reason would NOT remake all three . We have a deficit of three inches and it looks half made . Bassett has decided it falls within their parameters and will do nothing to repair it . We’ve had to pay an upholsterer to fix and repair the cushions so it looks like the 2800.00 sofa we paid for . We will not be ordering again .... such a shame that we have to pay for fabric for this repair ...
