One of Greensboros gems of a small business.Watts and his crew are down to earth, friendly and helpful. They seem passionate about their community, while enabling you to move around it and have fun doing so.... without fossil fuels. They also have multiple NC beers on draft.Good vibes all around, Ill definitely be back to hang out...they assure me it isnt a cult.
It’s been 20 or so years since I’ve been on a bike. I wanted to get back into it so I did a little bit of research on the type of bike I wanted. I came to Revolution and Watts was super helpful, listened to what I was looking for and made some recommendations. It was great that they had a few bikes my size in stock (especially during the massive shortage due to the pandemic). Even though they were busy, the owner took the time to go over everything with me, answer all my questions, and even install all the accessories I wanted on the spot. The shop has really cool vibes and even has a Woody Guthrie quote on the back wall. Would definitely recommend Revolution Cycles to anyone looking for an awesome LBS
I took my 1980s something Raleigh touring bike into the Shop and spoke with Darlene. She was kind, helpful, and encouraging that they could get it fixed up. Fast forward a couple of days and they called me to say. that she was ready to go. I was pleasantly surprised on how the Ol Girl looked and how she rode with new tires, brakes, and chain lube. My hats off to Revolution Cycles. Go by and talk with Darlene and the staff you wont be disappointed with their service and advice.
A seriously well-stocked and well-manged bike shop. Drink a craft beer while you sop for bike stuff? Absolutely! I got a nicely-equipped Kona mountain bike for a great price. They will also help sell your old bike on commission if youre looking to upgrade and you have a reasonably nice bike to trade in. They fixed my daughters bike and it runs great. Im never going anywhere else. Did I mention they have beer on tap so all your rides with the shop end with a cold one. Cant beat it!
This shop has all the cool stuff that you only ever see in the magazines or YouTube reviews. Awesome people, cool bikes, sweet gear. Go here!
What a bike shop! Has that good ol’ bike shop feel and a wonderful selection of accessories. Staff was professional, knowledgeable, and with covid precautions still ongoing, respectful. I had been looking for a specific model for a while, found it in my size here, took a five minute test ride and left the store 20 minutes later happy with my new bike.Build quality was excellent. Didn’t find any shop scratches or wallowed out bolts. Wheels were on tight and everything was torqued to spec. Would recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!
Just dropped off my bike for full service looking forward to getting it back in a few days excellent customer service 👍 👏
Great place, great prices and staff is so helpful.
Reasonable prices, efficient service (for bicycle servic9). Would recommend
These guys are awesome. Christian is wonderful very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. If you dont take your bike to them or buy your next bike with Revolution you may have not gotten the best service in Greensboro. Great vibes here!
I only stopped in to get them to look at an old bike I was hoping to fix up. They helped me figure out what it would cost and what type of bike would suit my needs. Very helpful and accommodating, will definitely return.
Very easy to talk to and helpful..My go to shop...
Great shop with great staff. Smaller shop so not much inventory on hand at times but they will work with you on getting you what you want. I always go here for maintenance.
Best ever of the bike stores and my mom and I love it so much. Watts, Paul and Christian were super helpful and knowledgeable.
My experience at Revolution Cycles. Watts and his team always take care of my cycling needs.
Excellent shop and the owner was more than accommodating. Tune-up on my bike was ready in a day which is unheard-of in this day and time. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Always a pleasure to deal with. Bike maintenance 👌 😎 👍 🙌
Always professional, fair prices, and a really cool atmosphere.
I was traveling from out of state and had an emergency that if not fixed meant no riding at the graining camp I had planned. The team at Revolution saved the day and fixed my brake issue. Forever in your debt.
My first time stopping in, and I didnt have an appointment. Needed a gear adjustment done, and the owner took care of me right away. He got the gears dialed in so I was able to knock out a 15 mile ride just minutes later. Ill definitely be a returning customer because of his hospitality!
Always quick to help and the work is spotless.
From the moment I entered this place I was hit with a positive energy. Staff were helping customers around while sharing a friendly chat. I was spotted and served in seconds. Pete took my bike to the back and fixed my back wheel in under 15 minutes. After the repair, I paid a small fee.In and out in 20 minutes tops. Staff all had a professional, and friendly air about them. All-around cool atmosphere. I almost wanna bust my wheel again just to be back!
I Love this place. It’s a bike store meets punk rock. The owner is super cool and his staff members are really helpful. Please check them out before jumping to the bigger bike stores in town.
The best bike shop in the Triad! Great atmosphere! When I was new to cycling they did not talk down to me. Then as I progressed they have helped me with equipment to get more out of riding. Watts and the gang are the best.
Great bike shop.
Great stuff and cheap prices to get your bike fixed!
Best bike shop in Greensboro, hands down. Good service, and easy to interact with.
They always take time to get me back on the road.
These folks are very helpful.
I practically have a new bike after the repairs they made. Good place
Just went in to get a cardboard bike box for an upcoming trip. Free box with plenty of packing and padding from new bikes they sale and excellent advice on how to. ( I don’t normally pack bikes so advice was appreciated). Nice folks here, thx Revolution
Great bike shop, really nice guy, super helpful, 2 experiences @ Revolution, 1st time guy fixed my bike and helped me with some accessories, 2nd time set me up with an indoor trainer when I was injured. 100% recommend.
Cool place to hang out and talk bikes. Guys working there are trustworthy and very knowledgeable on what they’re doing.
Awesome people. I didn’t feel pressured at any point while picking out a bike, and truly found the one of my dreams with their help. So stoked to ride, and I know where I’ll be going for repairs and tune ups.
Friendly. Honest. Charged me for a part competitive with online prices. Mechanic fixed the work of another mechanic I had gone to previously.(this is why I took the time to write review.Theres a good bakery across the street if youre waiting.
Cheapest price and good staff.
Fantastic bicycle shop. They have merchandise thats both local and from quality brands, and their repair service is professional and fast. They have many different types of bikes for sale, lots to choose from. Great prices too. And there is always great service. This is the only place I get my bicycle repaired.
Very nice Decor in that shop. They even serve beer while you wait. Very nice staff. Anything biking related oh, they definitely got what you need.
Met up with the owner, Watts, over a beer while in the store. Check them out for a tune and stay for the band and beer on a Friday night! Hot local spot. It shows they ride and know there stuff. stuff.
The crew at Revolution Cycles offer an incredible alternative to the mainstream, often impersonal experience of buying a bicycle from a chain retailer. The owner is an avid, dedicated, and extremely experienced cyclist whose motivation is to equip his customers with only whats necessary to enjoy their experience to the fullest. While a big-box option such as REI (or similar) is incentivized to push cycling industry on you, Watts and his crew bring you the industry; I guess I just mean that Revolution will see you as the unique person you are, and guide you to the right product, rather that find some reason to sell you what you dont really need.I highly recommend paying these Greensboro community members a visit, and seeing what theyre all about.
Great staff!! Bikes are great!! Beer is great!! Peanut Butter Pretzels rock!!
Went in the other day looking for a bike and had a great experience talking to the staff and sipping a beer. Great spot.
Fantastic local shop. Ive tried a few and these guys always make me feel welcome, whether Im in for a small purchase or a new bike special order at the end of the day (looking forward to my new Kona Rove DL in blue). One of these days Ill make time to enjoy a beer while Im there.
Awesome place to buy accessories new bikes
Had to take my bike to Trek to repair the work they performed.
Great local bike shop, very friendly owner and staff. Theyre well stocked and have a wide selection across many price tiers.
Solid work. great prices. staff was all about listening to me, as a customer, and offering advice/solutions instead pushing a product.
Super convenient because of the Spring Garden location. Stopped in for seat pad and got free advice for tightening my brakes. Stopped in for de-railer repair and they were able to replace whole setup fast and cheap.
Bikes and beer? Of course! This is a small somewhat hipster shop with good people within.
Quality bicyles and service/repair. Knowledge of products exceeded my expectations. Craft beer on tap is pretty nice as well.
