I have an older Korg TR workstation that has needed a couple of repairs - the first one for pushbuttons that basically fell apart, and the last, most recent for some wonky detuned patches. Phillip was able to fix the problems, and the reality is that there are very few Korg techs in the entire state of NC who can work on these keyboards. The only thing to be aware of, at least for me, is that it took quite a while to get it back, both times - Im talking over two months each time. Now Im a very patient person - I have other keys, basses to play with, but if youre the impatient type A person who expects overnight service, you better think twice. This has nothing to do with Phillips skills, personality, etc., just a possible reality that may occur, especially if you have a vintage type keyboard. But, I was so happy to get this TR back, that I can overlook this factor, personally. Its also really cool when you look inside of Phillips shop, the older tube amps and electronics - its like stepping back in time.

Philip found the problems with my tube amp and fixed it up perfectly. Communication was fine. He also setup a guitar for me and thats great as well. Fair pricing too.

Phillip is the man!! Best tech in the area. He’s worked on my vintage fender amps, high end mics and guitars. I don’t trust my gear with just anybody, but I do trust that Phillip will do it right every time and at a fair price.

Very good repair technician, and cool guy. He got a repair done, on my Korg digital piano ... under warranty. This is big praise, as Korg becomes more and more notoriously difficult to deal with .. He got them to send the new part, installed it, and my keyboard sounds better.... He is the kind of guy where he wont email or call you, until theres news.. But thats no problem. Hes steady Eddie, and very persistent, with repair attempts. :)

Not a Yamaha approved tech... Not a Roland approved tech... He had to have another company come get a Yamaha keyboard cause it was under Warranty... Hes not a Yamaha approved warranty servicer when he told customer he was... Not professional..
