We are from Kansas and we’ve been here several times while visiting Denver. The staff is always friendly and they have never gotten our orders wrong. Parking is always available and there’s adequate seating outside. The store doesn’t look cluttered. There’s are several tables that are closed off due to COVID.
Super cute store, everyone is super nice. Since its in more of a business area, its nice and calm once you get past the morning rush.
They have very good coffee but it is a little pricey
The Starbucks where I go to at orchard and Willow is great. The service in there always greet everybody with a hello and are very helpful
I’ve let this go by four times before I wrote this review. I go here occasionally but each time there seems to be a problem when I order a latte. When I pick it up the cup feels half empty. I ask them to fill it up and they say it’s the foam, but a latte isn’t full of foam and they argue with me. I explained I didn’t order a cappuccino it was a latte. I order on the mobile app so there can’t really be a misunderstanding. I get attitude each time I ask them to fill my cup up. The guy just told me” get me out of here I’ve had enough”. Clearly it’s not training you’ve had enough of or Customer Service. There’s so many Starbucks close by that actually know the difference between coffee‘s.I will not be returning.
Again way over priced Good cofee & lots of friends smiles from thé Help. But way over oriced
Think twice about ordering your corporate or party coffee here. The lady walked out of the back with coffee in an old bucket with no mask or gloves on with hands cupped inside the container walked over to open containers on the floor next to customers and poured the coffe in the metal tank again not closing it or covering the opening and walked into the back again I assume to get more coffee. Anything could have fallen in, put in or even crawl in. NASTY
My Iced Toffee Nut Latte was perfectly delicious, but my sisters Upsidedown Carmel Macchiato with extra carmel was missing the Carmel!
Ive been going to this Starbucks for the past few days [started work at Empower Monday] and he employees are all very nice. One sticks out in particular, shes cute and has light blue hair and is very sweet. Everything Ive seen her she has been prompt and good to talk to. I have yet to catch her name, but she definitely deserves a commendation or employee of the month or a raise or all of the above.Edit: I will definitely be coming back Monday through Wednesday for my lunch breaks
Hated my drink, too water down and no sugar free options
Ive come to you guys about 5 times and I always get the same drink and you guys always make it amazing!!!!! Every other starbucks I go to they end up messing it up. But you have made my experience great! :)
I used to work near there, and I got to know the staff real well. They always knew my order and were super friendly. The drinks were always perfect and the place was always clean and put together.
Just had a very unpleasant experience at the Orchard Road Starbucks in Greenwood Village, Colorado. First, to enter I had to go very near a group of unmasked people sitting in personal lawn chairs around the entrance. When I asked about this when ordering the woman was dismissive and basically had an :I dont give a you-know-what attitude. (Note to self: should have left then.)Then, it is one of those places where the mobile orders are filled ahead of the in-store customers. So the counter filled up with prepared orders while the people piled up inside the very, very small store. So very uncomfortable in these times. So I waited and waited until everyone had been served except me and then asked if a cup of coffee that had been sitting on the counter for a long time was mine. Everyone elses name had been called but not mine. The barista (Katie) looked at the cup which had no name. on it Then the I-dont-care woman at the counter mumbled something about not putting my name on the cup then said it was mine. (BTW I dont think she did this to be malicious but because of inertia). I grabbed my drink really ready to get out of there and headed toward the door. But my negative experience was not over.At this point the barista told me I could not use that door saying that it is for exit only. I have respect for that and most businesses have this plainly marked so there is no question about it. Because I had been waiting so long I pointed out that I had observed many people leaving by the prohibited door while I was waiting, to which she quipped, We try to catch who we can. This is at a store where if you bring your own chairs (which is apparently a thing there) then you dont need to social distance or wear masks and said to a customer who was not given their drink, with no apology. The barista then went out of her way to say, By the way my name is Katie, very sarcastically because apparently she is proud of her customer service performance this morning and wanted me to know her name.Want to start your day out wrong? Go see Katie et. al. at the Starbucks in Greenwood Village. By the way this store is probably violating the State of Colorado mask order by allowing people to bring their own chairs and sit next to each other without masks and congregate around doorways where other customers are forced to pass. I did leave my drink and get a refund. What a hassle.
Good starbucks. We ordered mochas and they came out nice and chocolatey. Not too watered down or milky like some starbucks.
Wow. I’m sitting in this Starbucks right now and I’ve gotta say this is really nice. Our barista Gary was super patient as me and my boyfriend figured out what we wanted and was very nice throughout our visit here. Even gave us a complimentary refill on drinks that are usually non refillable by standard. Nice quiet environment and overall a good Starbucks experience 🙂
My home away from home Starbucks!
Easy stop on the way to your destination (as of March 23rd still not dine in)
Friendly baristas, great service and the expected coffee.
Nice team and so friendly
Really nice barista brought my refill out to me with a friendly, sunny disposition.
Rude! I went here at 2:45 on a Wednesday and the door was locked when they don’t close until 5:00. I knocked and the employees just looked at me. They didn’t have the decency to tell me what was going on.I called the store and the lady who answered said they were closed for “mandatory water maintenance “ and I said, okay I was just at the door and no one helped me . . . That was a little rude. Expecting an apology and all she said was “have a great day!” In the most high-pitched condescending voice. I’m shocked.
Very friendly baristas, I started a new job in the area today and will definitely be going there for lunch M-Th because they just seem like super cool people.
My favorite starbucks in town. Friendly people and conscientious staff. The store is always clean and that is super important. Drip coffee is my go to and this one is my fav.
Huge shout out to this crew! I worked for Starbucks for 10 years and I consistently have quality issues with my drink. This location has gotten it right every single time. They are fast and friendly as well. Keep up the great work!
Amazing baristas !!! This is my hubbys fave Starbucks because they always get your order of coffee perfect.
Went there at 11am on a Friday. Pretty busy and full but was able to get my order in and picked up quickly. They have exterior seating with umbrellas like most locations. They also have a propane fireplace outside. Parking lot is shared by the buildings in the complex so it can be quite full at times. They do have a handicapped parking spot in front of the building.
No Starbucks on Earth, or any coffee shop for that matter, should ever close down their some bathroom. Increase your covid cleaning. Dont eliminate the bathroom from your clientele. Ridiculous
Friendly staff. Good service
Nice coffe
Mixed a lemonade drink in the same cup as coffee destroying the flavor. Asked for light ice, its on the receipt and still the ice fills the entire container. Sold a blueberry scone with stale old bilberries in it. I know they are blue and in some cheap pre packed mixes, but for $3 the scone should have been baked within 24 hours and only contain whats listed.
This location is great. They are quick and friendly. I have always gotten good drinks here.
Great place to meet in the Tech Center. When the weather is beautiful outside is wonderful when its cool or cold there is an outdoor fireplace.
Fast in the mornings and they have never messed up my drink. It is appreciated.
This Starbucks sucks & let me tell you why… It is right next-door to Great West & is always busy from their employees coming in. Great West needs to get their own dedicated Starbucks inside their building so that the rest of us can actually use this location. Long lines, long wait times for drinks & extremely limited parking space. No drive-through.
The drive-thru was fairly quick but this time, I ordered online and came in and picked it up and it was ready within seconds of me arriving which is extremely convenient for me. The location is great and parking is fairly easy to get to from the main road. The staff is extremely friendly.
The subway tile and reclaimed wood create a retreat from the busy city life. The pikes place blend has smooth body and subtle flavors of cocoa and toasted nuts. It pairs perfectly with the double-smoked bacon, cheddar and egg sandwich, which is always cooked to perfection.
I frequent this place for business meetings because of its convenience. That staff and drinks are fine and my negative review doesnt reflect on the people working there. The reason for the 2 stars is because this location is too small for the volume of visitors, and for some reason, more importantly, I always smell like an ashtray after visiting this location. Was this an old sports bar or cigar shop in that location? For a Starbucks, who charges premium prices and has a premium brand, this place just doesnt cut it.
Its nice that there is a place to get warm for visitors with the added benefit of coffee so close to the Great West Financial building. Other than for employees and visitors, there are better Starbucks facilities with larger spaces.
The people who work in the morning are amazing and super fast. The people who work in the afternoon however take they’re time and chat with each other instead of making drinks even with a full store. Morning people rock afternoon people need to be wayyyy faster.
Tried this location for the first time today and boy was it rough! They had the drip machines all set up including the Blonde roast which is my favorite. I asked for that one and she said it would have to be done as a pour over which I had no idea what that was, I asked if it cost the same and she said yes so I said fine lets do that. 20 minutes of waiting in the lobby, confused customers trying to get behind me to form a line as they couldnt figure out what I was doing standing in the lobby - frankly I couldnt either. Right before she finally goes to hand it to me another girl working there jumped out and took away all the half and half / creamers, with the intention of keeping them behind the counter. I asked if she was going to bring them back out and she said they were cleaning them to prepare for close. This was at 2 PM and they close at 6 PM. She got all huffy and poured a little paper cup of half and half for me and said is this good? As I was preparing to leave I saw other customers going to the condiment area with baffled looks as to where the cream was. Makes no sense that she was preparing for close hours ahead of time.Worst of all when I went to try my coffee is was barely lukewarm from them doing their pour over for 20+ minutes. What the heck are you doing at this location people, 20 minutes for a drip coffee is crazy, then 5 minutes to get cream! I am never going back to this one.
Good and quick
Really polite employees and really good coffee
Excellent service. Thank you.
I stop by this Starbucks on my way into work sometimes and the staff is great. They have kinda an older lady that usually works in the mornings who is super friendly and joyful. I dont know what it is about this specific location, but the drinks are always perfect! Sometimes you go to a Starbucks and its good, but off...this place hits it 100% of the time. Its a busy location in the DTC and still they do an amazing job-well done Starbucks!
Cool Starbucks especially if you visit great west.I wouldnt go just to shill but would go if i am going to great west. they have a small seatings outside (3 tables) and the lines are long, but its good coffee
The staff is super friendly. I ordered a coffee frap and was about halfway through it when I dropped it. So, not only did they have to clean up after me but they made me a new drink. I assured them they did not need to because truly, I didnt spill that much but they made me a new one anyway. So nice! Sorry I am so clumsy!!!
Gary is the best! This is nice, cozy, little cafe tucked in the middle of cubicle-ville DTC. They even have a fire pit out front....cool. Its like stepping into a secluded mountain town bistro. Two thumbs way way up.
It was closed, grateful for the table and chairs
Its the usual Starbucks. With the exception of the space. Gets a bit crowded during the week due to all the businesses near. Good place though.
Convenient for people working in the tech center. Definitely a smaller shop. I can see this joint getting super busy. Baristas and employees seem to be on their game though
I went three times while visiting for work and the first two times were normal Starbucks experiences. The last time I was recommended the nitro cold brew and they said it was about the same as a venti cold brew without ice and they added ice... Kind of annoying.
The barista was super helpful in finding me what I needed on he menu. They were quick and friendly. The outdoor seating needs more seats.
Really slow, usually make your order wrong, forget about food you ordered. I come here on my way to work, and no matter how far ahead I order it, I usually wait.Used to be a good location, but the new staff is not well trained or just don’t care.
Service is slow, over staffed, makes drinks wrong often. They are very busy in the mornings and lunch times. Worst location by far, but its GWV so theres a lot of money going through that store. Poorly managed, staff turnover and training needs to be improved.
Convenient location and relative fast service.
This Starbucks is pleasant, local business workers during the day, mostly, and locals at night. They close early in DTC, as do most businesses .
What’s the purpose of using the mobile to go order and waiting 10 minutes for a drink? I could understand is this was maybe the first, second, or even third time. But, it’s not, this is consistently an issue with this location that I order and end up waiting 12-15 mins for my mobile to go order. More than half the time I end up leaving the order because I can’t wait any longer. There was literally no one in line so I couldn’t understand why it would take this long for my order to be made. I even approached the manager and question why it was taking so long. To which he went over to the only barista working despite there being three people there who could also help with mobile to go orders. He asked if he could “rush” making my drink. No, I don’t have time to wait since I waited and wasted my fifteen minute break. I love Starbucks, but I’m reconsidering going to this location. Proceed with caution be aware the wait times are extra long.
The Nitro cold brew sweet pumpkin is fantastic!
Staff is remarkably kind and helpful. Very pleasant atmosphere!
Tiny location which sucks but nice staff. They do have a tendency to make drinks wrong so taste/check your drink before leaving.
Great service, just be careful what time you go. 7:30 - 12:00 can be very busy
Friendly staff and yummy drinks. They just need to work on making sure they follow Starbucks Standards better around cleanliness and proper experation dating of drink components.
Great customer service and staff is great here. Good coffee place
They know me by name and drink now, a lot of SB dont care. This is a nice change
Disappointed in this location, they do not have any consistency in making drinks, besides consistently messing them up. Twice they messed up on the same drink in a row and this lovely morning I ordered a breve latte due to certain dr diet restrictions with pregnancy, and it was made with milk not cream. I like the convenience of the location, staff is friendly but the need to retrain on drinks. Check your drink before you leave.
I come to this location twice a week on average and usually its fine, but I just ordered a caramel macchiato and it tastes like garbage. Its so bad. I drink Starbucks regularly and I know what its supposed to taste like, but this location botched it pretty bad this morning.
Good for getting your coffee to go. Not much seating. Otherwise, typical SB.
Nice enough location, but very understaffed. 2 out of 4 drinks were incorrect. Luckily there was another store nearby who gladly corrected them for us. Check your order carefully before leaving!
Very nice staff! Pretty clean. Closes earlier than most starbucks though.
Love the new guava tea..and their breakfast sandwiches.
I enjoy Starbucks every now and again. Though their iced coffee had left me a little disappointed. But their frappacino and macchiato are good. I do enjoy those.
Quick coffee stop. Nice and easy. Friendly staff!
Update, theyre still making the same drinks wrong. Slow service, consistently makes drinks wrong. Espresso drinks are weak. Venti iced carmel macchiato calls for 3 shots not 2, venti starbucks double shots on ice get 5 espresso. Thanks for being consistent and not training your staff correctly.
Watched barista make drink with milk, although I asked for half n half. Then proceeded to argue with me about it. I know your busy and sometimes peope make mistakes. And if I want u make it again, U DO. Thats why we pay so much for that cup of coffee. But when your a perfect do no wrong barista, I get the short end of the stick. Just tasted my other drink and its made with milk also. WOW THIS LOCATION SUCKS.
Starbucks!!! What can you say? Good coffee, good service. Busy in the morning so order ahead with your app.
Friendly staff and quick service.
I specifically asked for a soymilk latte and got a dairy milk latte, leading me to being extremely sick. THIS WAS THE WORST.
Very nice place with indoor and outdoor seating.
Fast friendly. Bring back café only stores!!!
One of my favourite Starbucks locations. Even when slammed the baristas are friendly, professional, and never in years has burnt my coffee (kind of amazing during the biggest rush hours)
I love the people working there
Staff did a great job handling lunch rush!
Great location with a fire pit on the large patio. Inside is a bit small though.
The staff is always really fast with service and they are very nice!
I love it. Its much better than the one on Colfax where its more crowded.
Beautiful & clean! It gets super busy in the mornings though, which makes it hard to find a seat!
Great location and friendly service
Its Starbucks. Croissants are delicious!
I just had the best visit to a Starbucks here - all because of the staff.Thanks.
Always friendly helpful staff
Better than Belleview location for expedited order.
People who works there are so stupid they know nothing the girl made me very unsatisfied am wondering where is their supervision. trashy place
I ordered a soymilk latte since I am lactose intolerant and the barista gave me one with regular milk! This mistake made me spend a whole day feeling sick.
Decent place. Kind of small, and the chairs are uncomfortable.
Im very specific very particular... they dont mind one bit
Over roasted acidic coffee and over priced frozen snacks.I like the teas.
Its a small store, friendly and fast staff
