My favorite go to store for most things. I love that they always have donuts and ice cream shelves stocked. The garden center is always a fun spot to check out. The apparel selection is HUGE here at this location. It was clean and not too busy. The lines moved at a good pace.

This store is huge and has a lot to stock. I rate them low as they are discriminating against people of color by putting sensors on each hair care bottle. This is in the multicultural section. I see sensors on a few other brands outside of this area but the multicultural area is tiny with almost everything sensored. This is embarrassing and makes it seem like BLACK PEOPLE are thieves and cant buy things without it being monitored. Im referencing all of the white/silver stickers with a message in it and the yellow stickers. Shame on you Fred Meyer.

To all Fred Meyer Stores. Since being purchased by Kroger, everything your business used to be is now gone. Customer service is terrible at most locations. Out of stock seems to be the most abundant sign within your stores. Your prices can make a grown man cry. I have shopped at Fred Meyer my whole life as they USED to be a great one stop shop. They are no longer that. Your rewards program is a joke compared to your competitors and the benefits are minimal and not worth it. Time to cancel my Freddies credit card. I will no longer give you my money. Off to Safeway, WinCo, Grocery Outlet or a garage sale to get my food and sundries since Freddies no longer cares about their customers. Mr. Meyer would roll in his grave.

Terrible customer service desk help by a red vest supervisor. Was told “There is nothing I can do” in regards to 3 small items I needed to return, even though I purchased them yesterday and can provide the time and register number. Also, below the service desk is a sign that describes policy for returns, even without receipts. Customer service desk should be helpful, not lazy

Don’t buy fruit and vegetables from this store. I stopped buying fruit from here a while back because I kept finding MOLDY fruit on the shelves. I bought carrots with a Best Buy date of Sept 6, on Aug 26th opened them today (Sept 5) while making dinner (pot roast) only to find them caked in white slime. At this point the roast is already seared and potatoes are in the pan with it, the oven is heated up. AND NOW I HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE. AGAIN. Now I understand we’re in the middle of all this craziness with the pandemic, but I know the were stored correctly from the time I got them, but they weren’t somewhere along the line. Someone is going to get sick.

As an Instacart Shopper, this is completely unacceptable as it cuts into our time and money. You cant tell me that 2 lanes open is ok when the lines are so long. Was at the Deli counter while doing my shopping and I overheard the manager, I think his name was Doug, harassing his employees. Wouldnt let them drink water or take breaks. I think I heard him yelling and fighting with one of them over something. I dont want to shop anywhere that treats their employees like this!

Super friendly staff where you can find things at great prices, well organized store, staff was willing to help us in store before we even asked for help. This showed they are nice and kind. Got here at 7 am to be first in line at the pharmacy after confirming the hours on google and their website, only to see chains up and new temporary hours in place. Now I have to wait here for two hours in a pandemic. Update your hours if they change this is not appreciated.

Didnt appreciate all the people shopping without wearing masks. Seemed like about half did not. These were the people that would walk right upon me. Even two of the workers picking food for others click list had their mask under their nose. There needs to be some large signs as you go in the doors stating you must wear a mask. Something like New Seasons has done. Makes you feel like they care about their customers.

I went here to get gas as I always do being a rewards member. I asked for $10 mid grade and gave them a $20, as I left I was offered no receipt and told to have a good day, as I pulled away I realized I was never given my $10 in change, which by the way was for my dad to put gas in his car for work. So I drove right back literally only a minute later and talked to the same guy who helped me, he didn’t even remember me and I was told there was nothing they could do and I didn’t have a receipt to prove it!!! He was the one who helped me the first time! They didn’t look at cameras or even just look up my rewards account to see that I had just put in $10! Now my dad is out of gas money and I spent $20 and only have $10 in my tank!! I’m so mad I’m never coming to any Fred Meyers again! I realize I should have asked for my change but I was shocked they did nothing to help and basically laughed at my situation, not even looking up my account or doing anything to resolve this! The service at the deli is always excruciatingly slow to nonexistent. For some reason Fred Meyer has not realized the concept that customers looking to purchase deli items from behind the counter need to be served by an employee working behind the counter. I frequently observe customers approach the deli case, pick out the items they would like to buy, but then turn and walk away after realizing their driver license will expire well before receiving any service from the deli counter. My recommendation is to purchase the required ingredients for your preferred dish and cook it yourself. I know this may seem time consuming, but it will save you hours of waiting for Fred Meyer to actually staff the proper amount of workers to serve you.

DISAPPOINTED in Lack of Rapid Response:With the STATE COVID MANDATE to WEAR MASKs for everyone. This was not enforced when Non-compliant 4 customers were not wearing their mask. A simple reminder was mentioned that she and the others with her were all missing their masks. Her arrogant response was Im aware of the mandate and to mind their own business. This was reported to a closest FM employee of the 2 female adults with 2 youth boys (approx ages 8 & 11) in the children/youth area that were reminded they were missing all their Masks-not wearing masks per a State Pandemic mandate and the customers should be reminded by FM Security or be Escorted out of building and refusal of purchase.Timing:....approx 10 mins past...the notified FM employee was still chatting on the walkie talkie. So I went and ask for the bakery to make me a cake for a birthday party.. I was telling them what i wanted they said to bring in a picture and they can see what they can do. I brought in the pictures and placed my order. I went in the next day and when Mark the baker opened it was the best looking cake I have seen in years. I want to say THANK YOU MARK! The Fred Meyer pharmacy is NOT veteran friendly. The pharmacy REFUSES to run our military insurance and we are switching the whole family over to Safeway on Division (you should call them to learn) since they will run it. Pay attention to what you are buying here. A whole watermelon is priced at $5, which is a little much for their small melons, but a half cut melon is $6. So that means because they cut it in half for you it is $12 for the same melon. Now here is where they get very slick about it, the melons are sitting beside each other half and whole but they cleverly placed the price for the full melons on one side of the display where there is little traffic flow but put the half melons facing the high traffic area so that you are more inclined to buy the half melon because everyone is starting to be waste conscious. Evil marketing. Please folks open your eyes and stand up to these thieving companies that all they care about is profits and how they can steal your money right in front of you!!!!This company isnt the only one doing this!!!!

Fred Meyers, always good. Only two things prevent a 5 star review. They stopped carrying the Seagrams Watermelon hard seltzer. The selection of berry flavors is large, but not a plus if you dont like berries. Also, whats the deal with no sugar-free cream soda? Theres always sugar-free root beer and a selection of sugar-free colas, but NEVER cream soda. Its not as if no one likes it. I can only buy the 2 liter sugar-free diet cream soda at Safeway (despite a shelf listing for individual cans, theyre sold out immediately), and people drink it when I bring it home. But this product is never found at Fred Meyers.

Customer service was extremely rude to me and mother who were charged 20 dollars in ice cream on a grocery we didnt add and also never recieved. We were snapped at and hung up on. It was distasteful, being a person who works in customer service myself I understand its frustrating but its not okay to talk to guests that way. We will no longer be using grocery delivery. Used this Fred Meyer for my first attempt at ClickList grocery pick up. What an absolutely disastrous experience.I placed my grocery order via the Fred Meyer app. After submitting the order, the app informed me that my groceries would not be ready for *five days.* I couldnt cancel the order via the app so had to spend 11 minutes with customer service canceling the order. They assured me I would not be charged, etc.Four days later I get a call from a Gresham Fred Meyer employee confirming my grocery order for pickup the next day. I explained that I had canceled the order and bought the groceries I needed by myself three days prior. He assured me that I would not be charged and that HE would cancel the order.Two days later, I receive a $68.02 charge on the credit card Id provided and a congratulatory message for using ClickList: Your order was picked up successfully!I most certainly did not pick up anything from an order that Id been assured was canceled. Especially from a store Ive never physically been to.I attempted to open a dispute via the app. Could not do so. Called customer service as instructed by the app and was hung up on three times trying to get a refund. Called the store itself, was assured that a credit would be applied, but given no proof that theyd done so.I finally got my money back by filing a dispute with my credit card company.Stealing money via fraudulent purchases has to be a new low. Ill never shop here and I will never use Fred Meyers app again.

A warning on the Gateway one!There was a staff member in the Deli that got special permission from KIM and ANGELA to take chicken out of the oven at 100 to 125 degrees to serve to customers for the late evening rush? Kim and Angela lost there notes on this problem and I kept mine! I talked to Renee Miller about this problem! This is why Jack in the Box had to change there name to Monterrey Jacks!

I had a transaction voided on my debit card for over $60. I was told it would be back in my account in 5-7 business days, and it’s still not refunded.I called and spoke to a manager who then told me to bring in my bank statement to show that I was charged and never refunded, and said she can’t pull it up by the receipt. (I saved both of my receipts for this exact reason.)Their the ones that messed up and said it would be back in my account, yet, I have to go into the store to prove this ? This location actually has decent produce to choose from and the meat is quality. The only negative is that they only seem to use a couple checkers at a time. It has most of the selection that normal Fred Meyers do you have, but not all. This Fred Meyers is not as clean and well-lit as some of the newer or remodeled Freddys. I would normally go to a different Fred Meyers and less I just needed to run in real quick for something on my way home, for a big shopping trip that I intended to go to Fred Meyers for I would choose a different Fred Meyers.

I have been shopping at this store for years but recently it bad .First of all the digital coupons that you are supposed to get does not work on my account, they only have to checkers line open their attitude is you can use the self check out instead of helping you . This is my preferred store. The pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful. And amazing to me that even though they see hundreds of people every day, some of them will remember your name. The meat and healthcare areas are well stocked, but I sometimes find that the grocery dept has discontinued stocking an item that I usually buy there. But I guess they cannot please everyone.I would definitely check them out on your way to or from the mountain. They are located just before you leave Gresham. Very convenient.

If you cant find it at Freddys you dont need it. However they have gone from having 6-10 checkers to 2. Instead they moved the best checker to the self checkout and have some of the slower ones in the actual lines. Self checkout is great when I buy 2 or 3 things but this is a grocery store not 7-11.
