The employees at this store are very nice & helpful! I dont know all of their names, but more than once both Tom & Kristin(?) have helped me with various questions & purchases & today Tom & Samaria helped me with a return. They are always super friendly & seem to really enjoy their jobs & helping customers. Advance Auto in Griffin has a customer for life, & I will recommend this store to everyone!
VERY good customer service & willing to go the extra mile to get you the parts you need. Their associates are kind, friendly & will get you on your way. They take care of our veterans & active military as well. Id recommend this store.
Had to go get brakes and they got them right away. The lady that help us was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Went in to get brakes the customer service was great!
Was put on hold for more than 5minutes, hung up and called again and was put on hold for 15 minutes, would have been longer but I hung up. I took my business elsewhere.
Great place. They had my Amazon package 📦 .
I went to advance Auto parts last night to have a battery charged the guy said let him check it first so I agreed to it come to find out I dont believe he knows how to work the equipment cuz the next day I took the same battery to another location which OReillys said the battery is good the battery says its 600 cold cranking amps and it was putting out 650 cold cranking amps out of the vehicle apparently the guy doesnt know the difference between cold cranking amps and cranking amps and how to look at a battery correctly I understand that youre in the business to sell parts Im all for that but when youre been doing mechanic work for over 20 years that doesnt fly too good I used to recommend advanced auto parts to a lot of people but after my experience last night my opinion has changed
Fast an friendly staff
Great customer service!
The big, tall, bald guy is the rudest person I have ever met. Was next in line and he went to the phone without ever acknowledging me. Had an issue with him on a battery warranty about a year ago. This store will never get my business again.
This store has terrible customer service. I went to the store and asked about an item that I had seen on the internet. The clerk in this location would not assist me by looking up the part. The clerk stated that I needed to find the part number even after I gave her the full description from the Advanced website. Once she located the part, the clerk informed me that the part was not in stock and if I wanted her to order the part I would have to prepay for the part. It was stated that the part would be in the next day. I prepaid for the part on Saturday. On Sunday the part was not in. I called to store on Tuesday the part was still not in. I did not get a call about the delay although I left my contact information with the clerk. I drove from another town to this location because the website listed that the item was in stock here. In total, I drove to this location 3 times. I finally decided to get a refund. The unfortunate part about this is I still need the part and I wasted 3 days. This store lacks leadership, communication, and customer service skills. I have bought parts from other Advanced Auto Parts stores, but this store is by far the worst location and is an eyesore to this corporation.
For people that works with motor oil and lube, they have the driest personality and attitude. 😑
Terrible service. I was on the hold for 30 min then when someone got back on the phone they didnt even know what I wanted after I told them. Just awful. And the girl that works there has an attitude.
Bought a $140 jack that couldn’t lift my truck up and told me I couldn’t return it, I told them I attempted. Very rude staff experience especially with the blonde girl and the old guy. They treated me like a joke and belittled me. I wish I would’ve got their names definitely would have filed a complaint to corporate.
Customer service received at Advance Auto Parts at Taylor St., Griffin, GA location on 10/3/20 and 10/4/20. My husband cant communicate very well due to having a stroke, bought a silver diehard battery on 8/5/20. When trying to exchange the defective battery (which comes with a 2 yr warranty) on 10/3/20 was told by Tom (the manager) that if the battery would take a charge no exchange, its yours. I had to explain on my husbands behave, the battery will not hold a charge and that they sold us a battery off the shelf which was 8 months old and had never been charged. Tom keep the battery over night to charge and for us to come back to proceed with issue.Returning on 10/4/20 Tom rolled out the battery with meter in hand, said battery charged, cant do anything for you. My husband trying to speak about the date of battery and not holding a charge, was agonizingly condescendingly told by Tom the battery shows a charge, the battery is yours. Going out the store I let Tom know he was losing a good customer and, his reply, “we hear that all the time. I said, a review would be coming and his reply, I dont care, It happens all the time, this man just said he doesnt care if he loses customers and welcomes bad reviews, what manager in his right mind would say and do this to a nation wide respected company. We wasnt asking for a refund but an exchange for a newer battery that would hold a charge. There are lots of people out of work that would love to have Toms job so why would the corporate office keep a man with this kind of an ego attitude to shine such a bad light on their company .UPDATE: We took the battery to another Advance Store and they did a Defective Exchange without any questions asked, took about 15 minutes, great service (will be giving great review to this manager). I WILL BE TEXTING THIS SAME MESSAGE TO THE COROPATIVE HEADQUARTERS, BUT I GUEST TOM WONT CARE ABOUT THAT EITHER.
Had the part i needed. And good service
Need people who are mechanic educated
Took 32 minutes to get parts pulled and checked out. Lots of apologies, but the manager was stocking shelves while I waited and even checked on me to see if I needed anything, only to brush off the wait time.
My husband tried to return an item with receipt from another location it was $25 and the guy was rude and didnt take the return we went to another location and had NO PROBLEM. Clearly this is an ON GOING and REOCCURRING issue in GRIFFIN will take my money elsewhere
I attempted to return a $10 item that was purchased at another location. The man at the register told me that the stores are owned and operated independently and that he would not do the return because he would lose money if he did. He said no store could even pull up my Speed Perks account and see any information on any purchases I have ever made at another store. However, every time I have made a purchase for at least the past 5 years at various locations in FL, NC, SC, and even this weekend in GA they have been able to access my account and past purchases.Since I had the original receipt from three days ago, I called the store where it was purchased while I was on a road trip. She confirmed that I had been lied to and encouraged me to call the corporate office. These stores are not franchises and are owned by corporate. If I find out I wasn’t lied to I will update this review but as of now I believe I was misled by someone who isn’t interested in honesty or customer service.UPDATE: Customer service worked with me and confirmed that this is not an independently owned store. The manager told customer service that no one had tried to make a return today and that he was the only man working in the store today, so he compounded the issue. He also said that they would accept a return with the receipt if I would like to come in to do that. Im going to let my husband handle it. However, I did stop by the store because I hadnt gotten the names of the people who were there on my first visit. Another employee, female, confirmed that the manager was not the man I dealt with this morning, that was a man named Jim who was out on a delivery. The managers name is Tom and he happened to be standing right next to Jim at the cash register this morning when I was there the first time. Customer service actually issued me a gift certificate as an apology, which was a surprise to me. I just wanted to know if Id been lied to and what their policy actually is. THANK YOU CUSTOMER SERVICE.I realize I probably could have driven to the other store and back in the amount of time I spent annoyed and talking to customer service (2 calls), but I hate being lied to and especially in a condescending way. I hope it was worth it to Jim and Tom over the return of a $10 item.
3/27 West Taylor st. location. Went to replace a 2 year old Gold battery, had it checked at to other locations before bringing it to Advance. They checked it an said the battery was Good. I jus wanted it replaced and they said Id have to buy another battery even though it was on a 3 year replacement. Went somewhere else they ordered me a new battery replaced it no charge. Customer service is not a premium here. Stay away if you can. WARNING UNLESS YOU KNOW THEM.
Good service 😉
Helpful and friendly staff
When you buy parts here be sure to get what you are paying for. I bought a transmission gasket, which comes with the filter, except I didnt get the filter. When I called the store to find out what happened ( if I hadmaybe left it there on counter) I was rudely cut off or disconnected.Went back in Advance Auto and it seems I was mistaken with my last review. I was met by a very helpful staff. My concerns were met, and I will most assuredly be back to Advance Auto for all of my truck needs.
Guys were very friendly & helpful.
Great service, had to order the part ad it was available at opening the next day.
Parts galore. Staff is ok
They had Motorcraft transmission fluid, and it was quick getting in and out.
Excellent Service
Great people just ask for tom if you go in the daytime tell him richard sent you
I always order on line and pick up in store. This ensures I am getting the right parts the first time. As a women I generally hate parts shopping. But Advance Auto Parts makes it effortless. Not to mention the on line discount I receive from time to time.
Very nice and patient employees.
Good, I suppose. I ordered a part on the web page and they had it ready when I arrived.
I ordered a tensioner pulley for my vehicle and they gave me the wrong piece twice
Good most of the time
Lack of customer service
Very helpful friendly staff!
Nathaniel was very helpful with selecting the right parts. His expertise was admirable. Keep up the good work.
Dont like thier warranty guidelines. Will go to AutoZone to be safe. Prices cheaper anyway..
Quick friendly service
Best bunch of people to help customers, they all the time have good attitudes. Keep up the good work!
Quinn and I Jonathan helped me get the things I needed to fix my truck today. They could have sold me expensive stuff, but instead they helped me find what I needed to get the little things that it did need accomplished.I will be going here from now on.
Griffin location actually has a knowledgeable staff. They need to teach the Manchester Ga location how to give the right parts and products to customers.
Right parts....sometimes.
There is no better that Advance Auto Parts they beat everybody as far as customer service prices and knowledge

These guys and Ladies are very very helpful and never make you feel stupid about knowing little about cars.. They are awesome people.
Speedy, but not to friendly..
Even though there was a huge sign in the store that said they install car batteries, the employees insisted they werent allowed to do so... So I had to install the $200 battery myself...shouldve gone down the street--their competitor would have put the battery in for me...
Very friendly and helpful associates
Stopped in because my oil light flashed. The gentleman checked the oil level and Installed almost 4 qrts of oil. Thank You!

Employee not useful and they are slow and disrespectful
Too high
Got what I needed but the young girl was to busy eating popcorn to speak. She literally grunted for me to come to her register.
Great Auto Parts.
Great customer service!
The customer service was so awful, the employees were just talking to each other, never asking me not one time if I needed help. Which FYI.... I DID! so when I did ask for help they acted like I was inconveniencing them. So I left and went to OReilys.
Never have the parts I need
They just sell the parts, most of the employees dont know about cars
There is unprofessional cheater up there.
They want to charge an arm and a leg to loan tools
I love it
Clark was useless could not help me I had to go home and look it up myself and come back and get my part with the
