The store was amazing and we had an unforgettable experience during our visit to Build A Bear at Gurnee Mills. They had very good covid19 safety precautions in place all throughout the store. We felt very safe but also comfortable enough to really enjoy the visit. The store was clean and well organized. The staff was amazing! We felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer. The selections offered was plentiful and pricing was fair. The staff did not pressure us to up sell or buy additional unwanted accessories, which I appreciated. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and I highly recommend!

It was Soo fun watching my kids do the build a bear thing, my kids were so happy.

Love it right now i got a red raptor with a red crayon suit nice employees nice and clean but the bears are a little overpriced but overall good service good place.

Went here for a date. It was very clean and organized. They where taking soical distancing very seriously. All the employees where super friendly and kind. They had an excellent selection of stuffed freinds to make.

The store itself and the workers are awesome.Online customer service not so much.I had multiple problems with 2 online orders.1 was able to be fixed instore again AWESOME people. The other took more than 2 weeks lots of time n no compensation. For a $40stuffed animal and the experience lacking because of covid very disappointed. Gave 5 stars because the store was awesome and they cant control online. Fyi I am still waiting my online order which I had to reorder and it will be a month on the 9th since the original order was placed.

Worse store ever. They basically only have clothes and accessories. There are not enough stuff animals to choose from. Employee are rude.

Kids had a great experience. Very helpful (maybe too helpful because I spent way too much) staff. Everything is so expensive! I can buy my kids clothes for the same price as the stuffed animal clothes but I kind of expected that.

Used to do that with my kids and now I do it with my grandbaby I love building bears with the kids

The BEST customer service tonight. We were treated to a very fine experience for my daughters birthday.

I brought my child to Build-A-Bear for the first time today. China, was the helper, she seemed alright in the beginning. As she tried selling everything, the extra heart, the smell, etc, her attitude grew. As we finished, their was another girl working that could of easily checked us out. We waited an additional 10 minutes to check out. China finally came over and when I declined the gift card, she rudely said ok, you could of got a free $5.. all while in front of my child. My child then said this is ant man! about a bear, and she said very snotty with no expression thats actually star lord, as if my little kid is an idiot? Im glad you know your characters? Cool. Maybe dont say anything if youre not adding to the experience? In all, she had a very weird attitude and thats not the store to have it. I wont be returning. Maybe get a job somewhere else that doesnt involve kids.

Came in with my sisters to find a bear for my niece. The associate immediately helped us and made sure my niece had fun while choosing out her new best friend. It was also her birthday so she got a lovely birthday bear for $4 ☺️

If I could give a zero I would. I went to the store on 1/1/19. We came around 7:30, my kids were so excited they rushed into the store ahead of me... I walked in maybe 5 seconds after them. I was greeted by some tall skinny girl with a super short bob hair cut. She said Hi are these your kids I smiled and said yes! Assuming she was going to say something like can I help you guys, they look excited. NOPE! She then says, While you cant leave your child unattended in this store at allREALLY! Thats the first thing you say to a customer? My kids were obviously excited, rushed in to the store to pick what they wanted and I got a bad attitude remark. Its not like my kids were in there 10 mins unsupervised running around destroying the store. I was literally seconds behind them.We walked out right after her comment! I planned on buy both my kids bears! We walked over to the Lego Store instead! Nobody was rude to me there, they invited my kids into the store and asked if I needed any assistance.

Very cute shop for kids to create their own teddy bears! You can go in on your kids birthday and you end up only paying whatever you childs age so if your child is 2 youll end up paying $2

Always a great place to treat the kids for a special occasion. While this specific build a bear location is much smaller than many others the team working there is terrific!

Horrible experience for my son. We went in on sunday at 645 and they close at 7. The worker name chian at build-a-bear in gunree saidnshe couldnt stuff the bear because she had allready truned off the machine. We then tryed making the certificate and she said sometime the computer freeze abd wount let younmake the birth certificate . My son was upset because they couldnt stuff the bearm horrbilethethe

It was wonderful fun with my 7-year-old granddaughter!! She had so much fun and I, yes me, her Ahma, had so much fun looking at all the adorable outfits for her Lola Cat Bear!! They had an entire section of authentic Girl Scout-wear which Kaelynn chose, OMGAAAHHDD SOOOO ADORABLE!! This would be fun for a troop to do if there were extra funds or parents agreed to pay as it was approx. $55, for bear, GS dress, panties, and vest!! We bought other accessories, music in the bear, a doctor kit~~Anyway would be a fun troop event!!

Its a very cool place went there to watch the Girl Scouts Build-A-Bear they seem to be enjoying themselves immensely which thats what its all about. Great time

You have a sale, its an organized alot of people show up and the people who waited in line that did not get the sale (at a dollar for age) to were not compensated.

They clerks were very attentive and awesome!!!

Customer service is very rude here. The ladys in the front of the store heavily ignore people and after waiting to be approached or in line to pay I was completely ignored and the person after me assisted.. not a great place for kids their attitudes need changing.
