I always have a great experience when I visit this neighborhood Walmart and the door greeter is Uh Mazing !!! Shes courteous, polite and always makes me feel welcomed !!!

All the employees very friendly shows were stock up and it wasnt very crowded at all were very happy

An employee stands at the entrance to provide a face mask if you dont have one and to provide hand sanitizer. The employee sanitizes the shopping carts after someone uses them. The produce always looks fresh and the department is clean and organized. Their rotisserie chicken is delicious and at a good price. They usually have everything on my shopping list and I can get in and out quickly. All the registers are self check out, but there is always an employee available to help you.

Nothing worse than self check out.They dont even have 1 cashier. I only come here if I need something small. Dont come here to grocery shop.

Brenda or whatever I think her customer care needs help while shes on her phone and I could have paid for my gas and been on my way she finished then acted like us in line were bothering her will not return and dont advise anyone too she was also mumbling under her breath insults so idk whats goin on but professionalism was not shown here and can you do your job.thats it smdh

They have the best greeter of any Walmart Ive ever seen. This young woman was lovely and you truly felt welcomed. When you left she blessed your day. I will definitely shop at this Walmart from now on

Dont come here during a school day at lunch. All the kids from the high school come here, all 1000 of them and the line is long.

It is your basic Wal-Mart grocery store. The only negative is there are no cashiers. On numerous trips I have seen elderly struggling. There should be a cashier to help them.

If you enjoy WalMart but dont wanna spend all kinds of money or not get distracted by furnishings or toys for the kids this place, this is where you should go its only groceries only one small toy section and their pick up service is outstanding.

I had to ride one of the scooterand when I went to check out they unloaded my basket as I was parking tht scooter to pay I said the red light is coming on some of the employee over heard me say that so she went and got. Me another scooter so they were really nice An helpful.

Walmart, what would we do without you. But I gotta say. Your produce is old and does not last long before it goes bad. HEB is my choice for fresher vegetables and fruits.

Well today it was super stocked ! Produce area clean and well stocked ! Everyone here friendly especially greeters Harker Heights super Walmart should get some cues from Marketside! Stockers busy they ask if you need help! I was skeptical on the self cashier but if you dont want to go thru that Cutomer service will check you thru! 5 stars ! Keep up the great service!

Great store for the weekly grocery trip, or just a quick pick up. Selection is good, staff is friendly and there usually isnt much wait at the registers. The pharmacy is what makes this store special, especially if you pick up regular prescriptions. They helped me through insurance issues, and remember your name when you come in.

So ridiculous! No more cashiers. Only self check out and completely idiotic. Definitely dont go there if your getting anything over 20 items. Complete Chaos

We went during the snow storm so I can’t complain about the stock. But they had no running water, it made me feel bad for the employees... glad they were open for the customers but not for the employees to had to drive there then work some where without water.

Not bad for a Walmart. Self checkout is still very difficult for most customers, though. Its good that they dont use cash or write checks because if they did, II would have to take time off of work to pay for groceries, probably have my neighbors pick up the newspaper from the front yard, etc.

Always greeted cheerfully. The cashiers, stockers and those who attend to the self-checkout are always helpful. Have encountered 1 or 2 who appear to not want to be disturbed but, the other workers compensate well beyond. Favorite store, fresh produce and meat.

Generally a nice place to get weekly groceries or pick up a few things and they are rarely busy. But every time they are busy (i.e. the week before a holiday) they are ill prepared and there aren’t enough lines open even with the self checkout. Very friendly staff!

Noticed personnel changes these last few months, have taken note of some really nice new people. One morning early, not enough clerks and I dont like using self checkout, I asked Ashley to open another register, she immediately asked Karen to open up so she could check me out. Both were very professional and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate. The Manager of this store should take note of these two clerks they know the meaning of customer service!

ALL registers were self checkout. I DONT work for WalMart and if I have to do the cashiering then I want an associates discount card.

The lines are ridiculous if you are in a time crunch be aware that you wont have time to stop here especially for anything you need to go to customer service counter for you will be late its a very slow process. Other then that the staff does their best to keep up with the large demand while obviously understaffed. Thumbs up to the hard working employees here.

Always a good experience. 4 stars because I could not open the vegetable bag to put my fresh broccoli in it. Actually 4 stars because only 3 registers were opened at a time when people were getting off work and out of school. Easy fix that Walmart seems to not be able to fix.

Nice place to shop. Prices are to be expected. Not crowded. Social distancing ok. Employees are great and always with mask. Some customers not wearing mask. But that is their choice. Store is clean and well kept.

My favorite little store. We call it the green store. Everything fresh.

They have a nice variety here especially for a neighborhood store. I can find most of the same things here than having to walk allover the larger store especially with social distancing going on still.

This is like a quick stop on the way to the house type of Walmart and I love it because I spend less money and the neighborhood markets versus the supermarket version

Its an ok Walmart. Nothing special, but the kids from the highschool keep everyone uptight about theft and other small annoyances. Over all its a nice place though.

Store is full of overstock from local superstores. Dont recommend getting perishable items for long-term storage.

Had lots of rotten fruit and veggies. Shelves were empty.

The neighborhood walmart in harker heights is always efficient for the most part. Carrie in the deli is very attentive and detailed in insuring you receive what you need. Listening to you speak to ensure your satisfied. Which is a very positive change from previous experiences with other workers in the deli.

I was there at 8pm on Wednesday 1.8.2020. I couldnt find Hershey Cocoa and the checker Sue went the extra mile to locate it by sending an available associate. The store does not carry it, so I will go to the large Walmart where I got it last time. The point is that Sue was helpful, polite and insisted to send someone. That was impressive and is the reason why Walmart is tops.

Theyre slightly closer than HEB and cleaner than the ratty convenience shack, so theyre my first choice when I suddenly remember Im out of deodorant.

They should tell you at the counter that they will hold your $$$$ over the amount of the rental. Mine was $215 and when I looked at my bank statement it was over $500

I went here for a couple items and got cash back for must have been day dreaming and forgot it. I called customer service and the self checkout attendant had put the money away! There are good people out there and there are more than one at this store. Thank you!!!

This Walmart really does feel like a neighborhood market to me. Everyone is friendly and the employees are nice. Most importantly, its a quick trip to get in an out. I can stop by after work on a weeknight, grab what I need and checkout within 10 min, which is important to me.

Been a long while since Ive visited this store. I consider it the first attempt at a neighborhood market in the area. The staff will great you if they know you other than that they just look at you like you were trying to nose in on their conversation. I got accustomed to people giving some sort of greeting. The store itself does keep a well maintained appearance. Depending on the time of day it seems as if the self check outs are the only registers open.

I like the small mom and pop feeling store. I always find what I need.

I love that this place is so close to my house with a great selection... I dont like that there are rarely any actual cashiers working and the lines get ridiculous.

All of the employees were friendly and courteous and very helpful. After I finish doing my shopping, I decided to use the self checkout. I was having a difficulty with my cart and a young lady named Wendy came up and offered to help. She actually was absolutely great and help me with everything and did all my checkouts and all I did was bag, pwhich was absolutely wonderful. Thank you Wendy very much youre a great employee and I appreciate you.

People not wearing mask and not following floor directions. One female customer with no mask sneezing. Management not making corrections but staff wearing masks. I am staying out of this facility.

The lady insisted that there was no one that could check us out and we HAD to use self check out.... come on Walmart. There are a lot of people that still want to check out with a human....

This store is ALWAYS crowed and there are no cashiers available despite many walking around the store. How can Walmart be the largest retailer but Never has enough employees to handle their customers???? Ridiculous! I stood in line only to be told the self checkout was cash only.

DO NOT go to this store in the early morning of you need full cashier assistance. When I walked in, after 7 a.m., the manager was standing at register 1, barking orders on the radio. There were 3 customer service managers standing there with him. Only 2 self-checks open. Im disabled and need cashier assistance. It was almost 8:30 when I was ready to check out. There were STILL no cashiers and the manager was wandering the store. There was only 1 CSM in front. I had to ask her to help me, since I had a cart full of groceries. She didnt even ASK if I needed help out to my car, which I DID. Never have a problem with anyone below management level. They have awesome employees at that level. Store manager never knows the answer to any questions. A change in management would be great.

Its convenient for a short shopping trip. Prices are a tad higher than the Walmart just a few miles away. So you are paying just a tad more for convenience. If you are looking for a all in one shop stop Dont expect to get everything on your shopping list at this store.

I refuse to go here anymore after employees were being weird and creepy, weird situations in the parking lot, and the pharmacy being a joke.Some of the staff was really kind but the rest...just wow how do these people have a job at all.I’ve gotten rude comments too many times from the pharmacy and them having a lunch hour with literally no one working is unreal. This isn’t once in a while, it’s everyday, when they have plenty of people working. I’ve had so many problems bigger than this, just too much to type up.

No panic. No commotion. Just regular grocery shopping. Usual Jesus folks out front panhandling for bucks. One very fat black lady with blonde hair wearing very little to hide her roles of fat working the Free Drawing booth inside the doorway.

Found what was looking for there after searching several other Walmarts.

Smaller version of Walmart but has enough for what you need. Great staff there.

Bad. Nothing in stock. Space on shelves for stuff, with price tags, but empty. Has happened frequently. Personnel friendly and courteous, store clean (easier when its empty, I suppose). Never again. Will drive the extra mile to Super Walmart, even for bread and milk. Sorry, but this was my experience.

Like the quick in and out features, but Im tired of having to be the customer and the customer service in one. If I have to work and check myself out without being paid for working, then lower my prices or offer a discount when I have to do a Walmart employees job for them. Yah, you re saving money by not paying employees to do a job, you also get checkout workers to do the work for free.

This is my favorite place to shop.. best time to go is about 10 pm there’s hardly anyone in there shopping.. there’s been changes in management/shift leaders etc over the last year, but over all there’s some really amazing friendly people who work there... gotta love Ms. Brenda, always a smile on her face .. now some leaders/jr management shouldn’t even be allowed inside the store because of their 💩y attitudes.. sooooo once these 2-3 people between day and night shift.. get rid of those and this store will really turn around.. oh oh before I forget there’s a really really sweet lady that works often on days over in produce, possibly Hispanic ... she’s a real sweetheart as well.. always always smiling and greeting those customers as they enter the store.. after a change last summer with employees I just started going at night. And this sweet lady still remembered me... now that my friends is good for business.. with any and all stores no matter where you shop because there’s always someone who fails to rotate stock. And honestly out if self respect you should always check dates on everything you buy at any and all locations.. I have never bought anything out of date or seen anything at this store.. thanks Harker heights market place team you guys ROCK!

Great in and out grocery shopping. Be prepared to use a self checkout. Very busy in the mornings and lunch times due to the high school open campus.Employees are always helpful, usually the same crew daily. I personally prefer this location to the supercenter.Gas is usually a few cents cheaper here than the supercenter.

Walmart is so jacked up. Nothing is ever where it is supposed to be. There are never any lanes open. No people around to help. And Walmart employees dont care to do the job right.

Bought 65 inch TV. Picked up set 12/7. Paid $748+tax. Day after X-mas set on sale for $617. Felt like I was ripped off. Told no cash adjustment, sorry. Will never buy big ticket items before the Holidays, ever again, from Walmart!
