Yesterday, I went to Jiffy Lube for a full service oil change. When I woke today to get my Fiancé to work my car was shaking and could barely move. When I went to check fluids there was no oil in car. I put 4 quarts in myself but it appears they have blown my engine. This is my only vehicle and my means of money. Their is no leak anywhere. The oil I put in is still there but from driving with no oil unknowingly my car is gone. Words can not describe how upset I am. They are now claiming other damages but research and talking with other mechanics all say the damages are caused by them. Image of my dip stick when took out as well as my add line but got full service oil change. I am now stranded because of their work. Do not trust them

They showed me a pretty dirty cabin filter saying it is that bad and needs to be replaced for $40 dollars. Even though this was changed few months ago, I still decided to get it changed. I knew somethings fishy so I went home and checked filter to make sure it was changed. Guess what? It still has my old filter. I know what new filter looks like. This is a scam. Never going back here again. If anyones willing to discuss this, please email me or respond to this thread.

Was not in a jiffy. Spent an hour waiting, my car was pulled out of line for whatever reason, and took too long, also too expensive. To be fair, the staff was swamped. They were professional and nice, and did their best. Need to pick your spot next time, when theres not a lot going on.

Phenomenal job as always, these guys get you in, get it done and get you out. Great job guys, I think you were even faster than the one by my house!

Wait time was very quick and the work was performed fast and efficient. I would highly recommend if you need an oil change. All other places were booked for a week out and Jiffy Lube was able to do the work right away.

I went in for (somewhat of an emergency) oil change before heading out of town. The service was done quickly & efficiently. Staff was very professional & welcoming. One of them even walked me from my car to the front entrance, while covering me from the rain. I will definitely recommend them! Very professional & friendly.

This is a pretty bad jiffy. I work for a company that has a fleet service contract with the company and I always dislike when Im sent here. The staff is ok but they are often understaffed for the volume of work. The facility needs a lot of work. Cleanliness is not a priority nor is speed.

Today I got my car inspected at Jiffy Lube kind of late in the day and they were done with my car quickly even after telling me that they were pretty busy. I was even more impressed after they explained that they were going to replace all my brakes before closing time! I trust their team because they explained everything that I needed to know about what my car needed to pass inspection. Furthermore, they were at the ready to get it done even before I had asked if they were able to do it.

Do Not Use This. Store . I got my car inspected at this store this month. I paid 200$ for inspection and oil change. I left and later noticed one of my hubcaps was missing. I called and went back. They photographed it and told me they would be in contact that day. I have not heard from them since. Not only is my hubcap now gone but I also feel unsafe; if they were rushing so much as to forget an entire hubcap. I called today and there was no answer and no way to leave a message. I am appalled at this treatment and blatant negligence.

They were quick with my state inspection. Very pleasant.

Had an oil and oil filter change today. When asked what I needed done, I told them just that, oil and oil filter, dont worry about the air filter. After they had my car in the bay for a few minutes they called me out from the waiting area to review what oil I wanted to use etc, and the employee that was assisting me had my air filter in his hand asking me if I wanted to replace it. I told him no, (I typically do all of this myself but since I just bought the car a couple months back, I havent had a chance to look how hard it was to get to the oil filter etc, and its been snowing all winter and I have no garage so I havent had an opportunity to get to it, so I just took it in. Additionally I have had bad experiences with high volume auto repair/maintenance business. PepBoys, Jiffy Lube, Safe Lite etc..) I will take care of it myself and I really dont want to pay $30 for an air filter. So after they finish, I pay and then stop by Auto Zone on my way home to pick up and AF for sixteen bucks. (Fourteen less than what they would have charged me. (in case you dont feel like doing the math)), Get home and replace it and found that they snapped one of the screws off that holds the top of the air filter housing to the bottom, thus sealing it so air doesnt leak in past the filter and straight into the engine unfiltered. Which now it does. And they didnt even tell me they did it. And Im confident it wasnt like that prior to taking it to Jiffy Lube because I checked the filter a week ago to see if it needed replaced and I certainly would have noticed that. Sorry for this being so long, but its just so frustrating that you cant rely on these business 100% of the time any more. It used to be, if they damaged something, they would tell you about it and either fix it or pay to have it repaired. And I already know if I go back there and tell them about it they will insist on proof that they did it. A friend of mine had an oil and filter change at JL. The individual who replaced the oil filter cross threaded it when he put the new one on and all of their oil leaked out and destroyed the engine. When they had it looked at after the engine seized up, the mechanic told him his filter wasnt put on correctly. And when they addressed it with JL, they were told they had no proof it was their fault. He ended up having to buy a new engine out of pocket. Yes they were quick to get me in and out (Which is the reason for the second star), but this is what happens when people attempt to do things too quickly. Mistakes and accidents. I would have rather waited an additional few minutes to have nothing broken and my vehicle in tact. This will now lead to further, more costly complications if I dont take care of it very quickly and if they had listened to what I initially stated I wanted done and what I didnt. And on top of it being less costly, this is precisely why I prefer to do simple maintenance and repairs myself. No more Jiffy Lube for me.Oh, and one more thing. I had interior lighting set up under my dash board on both the driver and passenger sides. The lights on the passenger side were ripped off and laying on the floor. First of all, why was anyone even in the passenger side of my vehicle, and why were they under my dash? Thanks again Jiffy Lube!! Aaaaanndd, when I first walked in, I stepped up to the counter where the individual who rings you up for your service was seated. He said Hello and looked back at his computer monitor. I stood there for two minutes because I thought he was in the middle of something and I didnt want to interrupt him. So after said two minutes of me staring at the side of his head, I noticed he really wasnt doing anything so I asked him if he needed anything from me. He said no, you can have a seat. Lmao! Why would you let me stand there and stare at you if I didnt need to be there? As I stated above, I typically do these things myself so I havent been in a Jiffy Lube since 2008. Not really sure of the whole process. Aside from damaging my vehicle they were all really polite.

Fast friendly and good service

I took my car their for a mandated state safety inspection. I do my own mechanical work and keep my vehicle in to top condition. The Jiffy Lube inspection mechanic told me I needed new front brake and rotors. These parts were only on for slightly more then a year, around 20K miles. He continued on to tell me you shouldnt install new brake pads on bad rotors. We had a discussion about this. They were thinking I would let them do the work. Im sure they would have charged around$400.00. BTW pads and rotors were replaced at the same time.Since the inspection fee was already $82.00 dollars I went and purchased the new parts. Installed them and took the car back. No problem there. The guy took me early before they were even open. Very nice guy.

Went in for a oil change. Spilled oil on engine bay abd looked as if they did not even try to clean it up also I mentioned I had a squeaking noise coming from the engine I thought it may be the serpentine belt all they did was agree with me and said it was my belt come to find out after my appointment I pulled my ignition coil off check my spark plugs am I one spark plug was completely lose rattling and thats what was causing is squeaking noise I was hearing titanium backup to proper spec and now the noise is gone

Got the work done quickly and my car wasnt dirty afterwards.

Lazy mechanics wouldnt do the work on my heating and with youtube and finding the part online it took me 5 min to fix but they wasted ablut 30 min of my time only to tell me uhh yeah the mechanic said he wont touch that

But absolutely clueless individuals working there but somebody had at me that I had an appointment when they dont take appointments

Update on my 1 star review. Gotta give these guys credit. They messed up on my car and I 100% expected them to not send me a refund. Low and behold they sent me a check for full amount + extra.

I’m from South Carolina and I had a family emergency to attend in Connecticut. Some how my engine or transmission (I’m not a car person I just was informed not to drive it) is not right. Though there are no lights on in my car it just doesn’t feel safe to drive from PA to SC. From Jiffy Lubes in Myrtle Beach telling me I wouldn’t need an oil change till I reach 10,000 I haven’t had one in quite some time so I thought it would be safe to take my car to get the oil changed before I take it to the dealership when they open on Monday.The customer service here was exceptional. I didn’t catch anyone’s name but the guy I dealt with was well informed and incredibly kind. He is well mannered and it was a pleasure rather than my typical stressful experience with the terrible Myrtle Beach Jiffy Lube. I only talk with one of the guys there so these five stars are really for him.Though when I got my email about reviewing my Jiffy Lube experience it said Dodge Grand Caravan but I have a Dodge Journey. I believe they take the same oil though so I won’t let that influence this review.Since my car is a 2019 and on the road for less than a year I am shocked it has this issue also considering it has low mileage. That was a pretty short journey before it ran into an issue.

I stopped there and got my oil changed people that change my oil got into my Dash box for what I have personal stuff in there there was no need for that I just trust them

This is the second time in a row that I wouldnt have my oil changed and multiple employees were not wearing their masks. Some were, but at least two others had their mask either around their neck or just on their chin.

The employees here are incredible. During the time of this shut down (I am a medical professional) I needed basically all brake pads and calipers replaced. They finished this 2-3 hours faster than expected based on previous work done at other businesses. Thank you all at this location for all your hard work.

Its a little expensive but not to much more than the garage. Very nice people working there and they explain everything to you. I would recommend them.

Wow! Where do I start? I now feel that this entire place is a SCAM. I came in to get a simple oil change. I come out with a major leak coming from the oil pan. They tell me that it was caused before I got there, probably from where I got my oil changed last time... hmm, so why was it not leaking before I came here? Manager JOSE ROSA couldn’t give me a straight answer on that. Oh, but they say they will be happy to fix it for me there (Charging more than DOUBLE for each part than it actually costs at the store). He tells me on the phone that it will be $250 for the oil pan and gasket, $105 for the labor, and $36 for another oil change. Sorry sir, I just had the oil change done yesterday, which is GUARANTEED, so I shouldn’t have to pay for another one! Out of the ‘grace of his heart’ he decides to let his strong hold go on this one and lets me go on the price of the oil change. Thanks. I also ask if I can buy the parts myself and just pay for the labor of $105. He says, “yes.” Ok, so I buy the oil pan for 69.99 and the gasket for 9.49 at Auto Zone. That’s a lot different than the total of $250 they quoted me at Jiffy Lube... Ok, they’re done working on this very difficult job (sarcasm) and it’s time for me to pick up the car, ready to pay my $105, maybe a little more with tax. I arrive and they tell me the total is $222. WHAT!? Should I have recorded you over the phone? Is that what needs to be done for them to keep their word!? I was told it would cost $105 but now they tell me it is 105 an hour and it took them 2 HOURS. HILARIOUS! This is no more than a 30 minute job, but regardless I was told 105, not 105 am HOUR! But, what can I do at this point besides pay the money. They are not going to give me back my keys until I pay what they say.... So, the only thing I am able to do is NEVER GO BACK and WRITE THIS REVIEW to WARN everyone else to BEWARE and tell you that you’re best to take your business elsewhere.P.S. To be specific, this is the Harrisburg, PA Jiffy Lube on Jonestown Rd. But because of this experience, I will probably not be visiting any Jiffy Lube AT ALL.

These guys were professional from the time I got out of my car and back into it. They seemed pretty knowledgeable and had the oil changed in minutes. If all oil changes were like this, Id cone here every time. I am from out of town. Most likely will not be back but if I ever find my wifes car dangerously low on oil and in the Harrisburg area, Jiffy Lube is the place to be!

Had motor oil and filter changed on Sunday afternoon. Looked on receipt and saw they put 6 qts oil. Motor takes 8. They had closed so I went to store and got 2 qts to fill it up. If I had not seen the mistake I would have been driving around with low oil. Could have hurt engine. They should have checked oil when they finished to see if it was full.

They provided services promptly and professionally and discussed and listened to my description and thoughts about the needed repairs.

$2.00 in quarters were stolen out of my husbands coffee cup and the Video cameras that Jiffy Lube has in place only show 1/2 my car so nothing can be proved. The manager did give us back the $2.00 to basically just get us to leave but stealing is stealing. I have left a message for the manager to call us, we should be reimbursed. If you read the reviews this is not the first time this has happened.... Also our car as never vacuumed “oh the tech forgot”. I do not want a generic email review from Jiffy...I want corporate or the manager to make this right. You stole from the wrong person.

We were placed at a bay and told we would be next. However, two vehicles that came after we did were taken in for service before ours. After 30 minutes of waiting, we left. This Jiffy Lube lacks organization and communication. Very poor service. I would rate 0 but that is not and option.

Not sure how to express my disappointment. Jiffy lube has always been my destination for both my cars (oil changes, regular servicing etc.) but this time my trust was broken. Went on for the yearly inspection last week and the guy who did the safety inspection told my rear rotor was rusty and needs to get changed before he lets me pass the test. I was very surprised to hear that as my car has always been in excellent condition. however, since it was a safety issue and my 2 year old often rides this vehicle, I agreed to change them and go forward with the $300 fix. But few minutes later he called me outside and told me he can do it cheaper($200). I said fair enough and left my number with him. I was doubtful about how things unfolded and did my research on the rusty rotor. I took the car for a second opinion to MONRO brake services and after testing they confirmed my car is perfectly fine and there is nothing abnormal with a rusty rotor. If I keep driving it for a while then it should peel off. I was kind of heartbroken to see these guys were willingly failing the vehicles on safety inspections just to make few bucks?I work for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and will be communicating the inspections department soon to report this station and the inspector about their shady business. Will update this post once I hear back from the appropriate personnel. Meanwhile, dont take your vehicle for an inspection or emission test because they will find a reason to fail your vehicle.

This place is a total joke. Before going to any Jiffy Lube, I would recommend you do a little research as I had to do after being laid over for almost 4 hours for a local inspection. As it turns out, if you need tires for your inspection at Jiffy Lube, they subcontracted out to Pep Boys. I pacifically asked the manager the day before if all the inspection material was on hand & conducted on the property. I was blatantly lied to. “Thank you Dave “When I realizing how long it was going to take, I asked if I could just reschedule the next day as early as possible. At that time I was told it would only take an hour at the most to complete the job. I came in at 7:30, and I left at 10:30. Three hours this morning, and another hour from the day before, for a total of four hours just to do an inspection. Most of the time was spent waiting for my tires to come back from Pep Boys. When asked why did it take so long, I was told it was Pep Boys fault. All of this could’ve been done in a relatively short time if in fact they were true inspection facility. If you want to hit & miss roll the dice service, this is the right place. For an oil job, they barely do a good job let alone an inspection. I want to leave this blistering review so that no one else has to go through the same mistakes that I went through today. Bottom line Jiffy Lube is not set up completely to an inspection job. Extremely disappointed and have no expectations of coming back.Totally disappointed .Raymond

Stopped in this week for an oil change, emissions test, and tire rotation. Service worker greeted me at my car and opened my door. Clerk inside was polite and thorough. Patient in answering my questions. They did not attempt to sell me an air filter--which was not needed. Overall--great service. All of this was done in under an hour.

The guys there saved me in a pinch. I was dangerously low on oil, and even though they were about to close, they took me and hooked me up. Super grateful.

Dishonest. Took my car here for safety and emissions, and they told me my car needed over $1,000 in work to pass safety. Took it somewhere else who said most of those things were working just fine and not in need of repair. Spent just over $100 at the other place, and my car is still working great with no problems. If you like spending money on unnecessary repairs, this may be your place. If you want honest service, look elsewhere.

Less than half of staff had masks including person that deals with customers. Person that drove my car did not wear gloves. 2 customers that sat inside small area for 20 minutes did not have masks. Rest of us with masks waited outside. Will not return.

Not so Jiffy... Make sure to clarify with the tech if they have the parts in stock or not before proceeding to make the repairs they are suggesting to you. Otherwise they will assume you have all day to sit an wait while they order them in and have them delivered... Would not have sat here for over 2.5 Hours to do routine maintenance if they had been up front with me in the first place.
