I purchase the car based asis in TR lane on conditions reports the car was run and drive in their inspections but my tow driver was picking up the car saying the car had issues bad transmissions the car was not drivable which manhiem didn’t list it I feel like they scam me and fraudulent for making false reports in their conditions reports and if anyone buying the vehicle please go in person check the vehicle first then bid to be aware of everything

Their customer service is terrible. If you are buying online, they do not give you enough information you need about the car regarding whether it has any major engine or transmission issues. When you test the cars in person, unlike other auctions, they do not allow you to use an obd scanner or test drive the cars. It is only a seller friendly auction with no regard to buyers. Arbitration there is pointless. We bought a car from there once after testing it the day before and the entire window panel was stolen from the car. When I went to pick up the car, I reported that it was stolen and arbitration told me there is no proof in the pictures that it was there. That is because they do not take pictures of the entire interior, just the bare minimum. Bad auction, bad customer service. Avoid it if possible.

They do not allow you to test drive or use an obd scanner during pre-sale inspection. Even when the auction moved to completely online they still do not allow test driving. When you bid online they do not have accurate pictures of the car. There will be things missing. Security is rude and they are a sellers auction. Highly recommend against buying from them and trying out more transparent and consumer friendly auctions.

I hate this place. It is a disaster. Way too much going on. And their no flashlight security are very rude. They need to clean that place up. All those old cars on the outside and sone of them looks lived in. I wondered doesnt the city of Hayward do any street cleaning around there? Obviously not!

So.its bad ass place on the world,system is not work properly,they cant say where car park,2000-3000 cars on lot and supervisor told me go and help yourself. Computers not working scanners not working.even security he under drugs or alcohol I dont know,but he looks abnormal(eyes red, mouth open,hands shake,he cant talk clearly.he cant walk, I give you 5star when you change this place name (mad house !!)

Worst Manheim ever. One older Spanish man was very helpful, the one driving Manheim Service white pickup, but everyone else just dont know what they doing there. Seriously, guards giving conflicting and confusing instructions, just unprofessional.

We bout 5 cars on November 1st. One was declined, And we were able to bring other 4.Now it is December 15 and we still don’t have the titles for two of the cars we bought. Everyday we call and get same answer “Titles are not in yet” I have no idea how can’t they get the titles with almost two months time? If you don’t have the power to receive the titles from seller then y would you sell their car to someone?And yeah employees are totally irresponsible. Last thing they told me was “you can return the cars back and we will pay your money” it is like I have opened a public parking to keep people’s cars in my lot. hope I receive titles this time in future I will do all my best to stay away from this auction.If I could I would have given them half star but there is no such option.They didn’t even give me a piece of paper. The staff is only really good at receiving money that is it.

I am multiple rooftop franchise dealer that has used various manheim locations for 20+ years. this auction location is corrupt on a level that i have never seen before, wildly disorganized and a terrible reflection of our industry.

Very friendly staff at the main gate. I just wish they made a transport lot. That road is really busy with cars taking a short cutt

I have worked at Manheim for gosh, alot of years. I am an auto mover, and I drive the auction once a week. The job has its perks. I like driving all the different cars, and Ive made some good friends there too. Come and check it out if you have a dealers license, come and get some great buys. If you only have a drivers license, with a clean driving record, come and drive these cars.

They clean and DETAIL CAR and return them to a lot called SIMS,AND SUMMER TIME THAY GET REAL DIRTY AND WINTER TIME REALLY MUDDY CAUSE IN THE WINTER SIMS LOT FLOODS AND ITS A WASTE OF MONEY TO GET THE CARS REDETAIL AGAIN CORPORATE EXECUTIVES SHOULD COME AND LOOK FOR THEM SELFS. The staff at Manheim SF Bay in Hayward are a great group of people. First I want to mention K who works LANE 10 .........always ready to help me locate the cars im looking for when they cant be found, offers me a ride to Customer Service, so kind, friendly and always greets me with a smile. Then theres Sandy who drives around in big white van. I approached her today when I wasnt able to find my car. She was so eager to help me, called in some numbers on her radio and got a quick response. She new exactly where the car was. She told me to hop in drove me directly to the car. All in all took less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. Theres been times Ive had to walk the entire parking lot looking for my car taking me hours to find it but not today thanks to Sandy. My car was taken by a horribly sketchy tow guy on a botched repo (I paid my bill and he wouldnt give me back my car). He eventually tried to get away with getting rid of my car by bringing it to Manheim San Fran which was not the auction he originally was told to work with. Manheim did their best to first reject the car when made aware of the conditions of his tow, but when he left it with them they kept it safe and helped me recover it while being kind. My battery was shot because of how the tow guy treated my car, and the fantastic security team in Manheims auto lot helped me get everything working again, and made sure i felt safe and okay while working through the process of retrieving my car

Wow! Thats all I can say... was really looking forward to working with manheim auctions because they seem friendly and better organized. With that being said I was beside myself at the stupidity of this woman I had an encounter with. As she was walking I simply asked her which way was out she proceeded to say im off, im done for the day really so you cant point me in the right direction? I said are you going to the parking lot? Im mean im off, done as she flicked her lee press ons towards me. I was so taken back... I mean hello she acted like I asked her to draw me a damn map with color... she spent more time flicking her nails and telling me she was off then it would have taken to say the way out is to the left around the building which is what another guy told me who was apparently still on the clock. Anyway, I get it, you didnt have what it took to be a real cop and you barely make minimum wage but damn human courtesy...

If youre a car hauler and you have a hose that needs to be repaired better to drive about 10 miles from the auction to San Leandro to pirtek. They will be able to fix your line in a reasonable amount of time its cheaper to go to them otherwise they charge a $99 service call. They do a good job. All the other hose companies surrounding the auction only sell you the parts and the hoses they do not get their hands dirty. Pirtek will take care of it all

The one star is too much, I be dealt with so many different auctions this one is by far the worst, taking my business elsewhere, spend your money elsewhere where customer service is important, business office staff have no clue of what’s going on, title over 50 days every time I get a different story, I be called over 15 times and same idiotic questions every time. Stay away I will do that and tell all my dealer friends to stay away.

This is the worst auction in the whole country. When I send transporters there to pick up my cars, they never have the gate passes out even though they tell me they are out. They dont have the capability to print gate passes that I email to my transport company. Their lack of capability to help customers after hours or on weekends is a severe weak point. They also keep cars on other lots that are inaccessible during the weekends. Expect delays when buying from here. 14 day psi is a must. It takes them at least 3 days to process an online sale. Ridiculous.

Bought a green light Prius that was a prior taxi. On the internet dealer auction. They didnt mention it was a repaint from taxi yellow to green and they didnt mention that they didnt paint the door jams or trunk hood so all body parts were outlined in bright yellow. I paid for inspection which said it passed perfectly. So when I arrived to pick it up I was shocked when I saw it. They have banned me from all Manheim auctions because I refused to pay for vehicle. Lack of quality vehicles, bad bad arbitration employees, and lots and lots of shill biding are all good reason to keep your wallet in your pocket. Dont trust the arbitration department here, get everything in writing. Will pin anything they can on you, by far the worst Mannheim in the state of California. The need to flush the staff here like a toilet.
