Although our vehicle was in the shop for quite awhile, I understand it was not because of problems related to Tom Denchel. I was extremely pleased with Javier Gutierrez, our service advisor who led us through our repair and insurance issues. I felt confident from the moment I first spoke with Javier that our vehicle situation would be handled with care and efficiency. Javier lived up to our expectations and our Ford Fusion is now home where it belongs.

Was pretty straight forward when we bought a vehicle from this place. They gave the mechanics report. They only came down a little on price, which was in mid KBB range, so we were happy. Nice staff. Tara was awesome. We are happy with our as-is purchase. If I were to give one critique, since this location sells cars and is the service department, the place needs to be spruced up a little bit. It felt like we were in a tire shop, and there was a lot of clutter. I think some new paint, maybe some privacy fogging vinyl on the managers office window, key boxes, file cabinets and storage would just clean up the look and feel. :)

It was 95+ degrees and I had my wife and 2 elderly dogs with me. One of the sales staff saw us limp into the dealership and quickly told us to come in out of the heat, even with the dogs. They allowed us to wait in the showroom and brought the dogs water. Shawnica quickly had a tech diagnose the problem but didnt have the part in stock. I purchased a Certified Ford Escape. I kid you not, I drove from the dealership to I -84 and could hear a strange sound. When I got to my hotel in Pendleton, we looked underneath and the skid plate was barely hanging on. It was bouncing around under the vehicle. Then the next day I smelled something musty. I live far away and could not easily come back to the dealership.Ive had the car to three mechanics and the last one said, they will need to take the whole dash out, in order to address the mold issue.Buyer Beware!!!

Erik Weinberg out of the Hemriston store went out of his way to help me get a loan and find a good car for me. He worked for weeks trying to find the perfect car in my price range. My credit is really not good at all, and I walked away with the payments I wanted, a good warranty and car Im happy with. Erik came in on his day off to get me thr car, and when he saw me pull into the parking lot, he ran out and started it up so it would be nice and cool inside when I went to drive it home. The car looked amazing, smelled amazing Im super happy with Tom Denchel and especially with Eriks customer service.

Price is always an issue when you get genuine Ford service. They have always fixed any issue I have taken to them but I always end up with a huge bill.I went in fo an issue with my truck which they told me was $145 to evaluate and figure out what the issue was. I was very patient with them because I wanted it fixed right. They said they would need it a day and ended up with it for a week. They finally figured out that it was a accelerator pedal. I was shocked when they told me it would cost $750 to fix, but what are you going to do? I was a bit angry though when I got home and looked at the bill. The part was $118. From what I read online, its a very easy install. Im clueless why I paid $650 in labor when folks Ive talked to have said it should have been half that.Guess I just need to learn to go to a non ford mechanic.

Lady who is boss of service department was not very helpful. Kinda just brushed my wife and I off.Took car to Corwin Ford. Was treated very nice staff very helpful.I dont recommend this place for service. Tom Denchel Ford. Sales people are helpful.

Bought used car . Great selection and friendly salespersons.

The staff was pleasant and made my husband and I feel at home. While there were some hurdles, it was plain they were working hard to resolve our issues. We ended up spending more than we shouldve, but got the car we wanted. The time with Craig throughout the process was like hanging with a younger brother; we enjoyed him immensely.

I dealt with a car dealer in tri cities but was disappointed with how they handle deals. I went to Tom Denchels because I saw an ad on facebook. The sales manager did not find me a car that worked the first day, but came in on his day off to work with me. He was very professional and found me a great car without any stress. All the people I dealt with were very helpful . The manager, sales guy Craig and Tom. I would very much go Ford now and you will get a good deal.

Truck broke down out of town and the service dept at Tom Denchel Hermiston was able to fix my transmission (due to a mistake by another Ford dealership) and got me back on the road. They understood my stress, took my issue seriously and communicated with me very clearly the problem and the solution. Considering I just walked in off the street, with my truck towed in unannounced- I couldnt ask for better! 3 hours they had it up and running and I was back in business.

Manager was extremely rude. Salesman’s tried to make it right and worked to get the best deal he could. Had a deal in place, told them I wanted to test drive a vehicle before having my credit ran. They ran my credit three times and said it was a “miscommunication”. I had heard plenty of bad things about Tom Denchel, but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Wishing I wouldn’t have now. Do not recommend this dealership at all.

I have nothing bad to say. Everything was easy and as fast as can be expected. They found the car I wanted at the price I could work with and brought it in very quickly. Full tank of gas and theyll have the plates mailed to me so I never have to work with the DMV. Tara saw that it was a little dusty when it came in, so they had it washed for me as well. I would not buy a vehicle from this place cause the service is so bad. I brought in a Ford Fusion that had a transmission that was slipping and their mechanics confirmed it was slipping yet since they can’t find any codes they won’t fix it. So the service manager calls me back 1 day after telling me he would drive the car for 2 days and lied and only drove it for a bit and says they can’t find anything wrong and won’t fix anything. Even tho they have noted and proof that his other mechanic verified he did feel the transmission slipping. Now I have to pay my attorney to send them to court because they just wanna dump the vehicle on me knowing it has a bad transmission and the service manager was an rude as and telling me I had to listen to him and he was the boss. Crazy people. The day customers stop buying their all fired.

I had been taking my vehicles to a Ford Dealer in Pasco Washington. The cost was close to being the same, just the length of time is quicker. Going to Hermiston is better.

Karsyn was fantastic! Right from the start I felt like she listened to me and wanted to help find me what I wanted. We went there with a list of need and they met everyone. I ended up getting a car that Im super in love with. Im positive that after this experience I will be a long time customer.

Only issue would be the entryway to the business. It is a bit narrow if you are dropping a car off with a trailer or if you are being towed. Other than that, no complaints.

Just had a recall on truck, these guys went above and beyond, to make sure my truck was perfection. My truck drove better went it left, than ever before. I Purchased a new 2020 F350 power stroke 4x4 crew cab prior to the purchase truck was at a different lot about 40 miles away and at my request to save me and hr in driving time they went and brought the truck to the Hermiston Ford dealership from The other Washington dealership staff was helpful and very friendly I was impressed with the 19 MPG the trucks pc was showing the weekend of 12/13 of sept 2020 I drove 500 miles round trip used 22.5 gallons of diesel that’s over 21 mpg I am completely satisfied as a customer and recommend Tom Denchel Ford as a reputable and trustworthy dealership

Just re-upping my review. Took advantage of my mom, put her in a car with tons of recalls and wiring issues in the tail lights. Not even a manual for the car. Yes it was a Ford.

Traveling for work Arrived here yesterday around 11 am. With a leaking injector. Service finally looked at it around 4. Of course we had To get a hotel room for the night. Lucky there was a motel right next door. For they offered no help in getting to another. Since the Chinese flu has everything shut down. We had the same break down happen on the way out to Oregon at Chicago. They put us ahead of other scheduled vehicles to get us back on the road.. in less then 2 hours. But here it is a totally different experience! This is a simple repair, and its looking like we will be forced to pay for another night at motel. I cant believe the difference in this shop, we have traveled all over and have been to st least a dozen Ford service centers....BUT THIS ONE IS VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!

We’ve purchased both of our company vehicles from this dealership. The first one is our FORD Flex, drives smooth, nice ride, spacious. The 2nd car is our TRANSIT CONNECT which has been the best vehicle for our business. This van fits all of our things we need for our events. Our 10x10 canopy, our tables, hand-washing station, etc. We love both of our rides and are really happy with them. Lastly, the customer service was top notch! Thank guys! We did not have a good experience here. We went to do the buyout on our lease. We called ahead and were told to just come in and they would be happy to help us with that. We were directed to the Finance department and were promptly thrown out quite rudely. Then we were told to wait and someone would help us. We stood there for 10 minutes and were not spoken to again until a man walked up and asked if we had been helped. We said no, let’s just say it did not get any better. We are off to Pasco to try there.We called Corbin Ford where they have made an appointment to get things done.

Never answer the phone or call back. 4month long issue.

We took vehicle to get checked out prior to purchase. They did a great job. Shawnica scheduled everything out. The parts department had a small issue getting a couple things ordered. Management too care of that issue right away. All in all, great job.

I found my recent experience to be as stress free as making a large purchase can be. Luis listened to me and was not overbearing. We drove our new pickup 2,000 miles in 3 days to pick up a college student and found it to be what we expected.The one concern is that the mykey settings in this used vehicle are not what we would choose. We hope with help from the dealer we can get those reset.

I went there to see about training my car possibly buying another car because they had a great promotion going on and they tried to have me take out another car loan and keep the car I had and not only that they wanted me to buy a truck . Im perplexed if they really actually want to sell cars and then their cars were about $15,000 more than the place in Tri-Cities. Im really disappointed in this place and their promotion is not what you think it is. Do your research before you drive to hermiston to look for a car with them.

If I had the option to give zero stars I would for the bad service! Credit was ran multiple times it was hard to get a deal with them for the vehicle wanted. Do your research before going there.

So I live about 6 or so hours away, I own a construction & development company in Washington state. I was doing some browsing one evening on Facebook marketplace and noticed a 2k17 Ford F-350 Super-duty, I inquired through to a man named Bradon Guzman. From the first phone call to delivery in less then 72 hours the truck was DELIVERED right to my shop at no charge. Was the best and most easy going vehicle purchase for my company ever. I will defiantly be looking into getting a commercial truck for the business hopefully by the end of this year and whatever other truck I may ever need. I recently bought a car from this dealership and I had a very good experience. I dealt with Mike over the phone and through messages and he did a great job answering all my questions. I ended up buying a car that he delivered to me (a 3 hour drive each way) that was exactly as I expected. I was also very impressed with the price, as it was the best I found for the car I was looking for. I would recommend shopping here first.

I bought a 2013 Ford Focus from Tom Denchel. I paid cash for it, the car only had 70,000. Within days the transmission started acting up, after 4,000 miles I take the car in for service and to diagnose the problems. Turns out Javier the service manager tells me “that car has the worst clutch pack I have ever seen.” He also tells me that part was out of warranty in January.” Even though the dealer took it in on trade in December. I have heard from many about this type of shady business practices from Tom Denchel before. However I thought I would try and buy a commuter car local and this is what I get for it $2700 for repair. Needless to say this car and the 2018 explorer will be the last Fords we own and I will never buy from Tom Denchel again. Eight payments left on the Explorer lease and it will be Hello Toyota!!

He and his finance team worked with us from morning to night, test driving multiple vehicles. In the end the only thing I regret was eating up Codys entire day and having him miss out on a sale because we couldnt get a vehicle, but that was not their fault.
