Had a product shipped to AWA last week. Great experience with Russell. He is an extremely knowledgeable guy and very willing to pass on that knowledge. The first time on the phone with him he was willing to answer many of my beginner questions despite knowing I wasnt going to buy directly through him. I will use him for future gunsmithing work without a doubt.

Russ flat out stole two guns from me that his employee (also his nephew) accepted for refinishing and has done everything and anything to avoid taking responsibility for his actions to include arguing with my lawyer, not answering calls from the Attorney Generals Office, and attempting to hide the negative reviews by blocking all contact with me instead of just sending my guns back as he initially agreed. He claims I owe him money for the work which wasnt done while simultaneously claiming they arent his responsibility but he also wont return them. Class act all around!

Heard nothing but bad reviews about this company only to have a friend send two guns there to have them stolen and no communication, explanation, or compensation given.

Called twice and left a voice mail. I also reached out on Instagram. A week later, no response. Luckily I found another gunsmith nearby that actually wanted business.

Russell is well-rounded guy! Definitely helped me with a lot of questions and concerns that I had. Had my gun shipped there and its been a breeze. Definitely recommend!

First time buying a weapon online (38 S&W), I decided to use Mr. Russells service as FFL, I do not regret paying $25. At the same time, other FFL charged me $50. The transaction was straightforward and fast. MR. Russell has knowledge of weapons that impressed me a lot. I do recommend AWA USA.

Takes guns for years at a time, employees disappear, uncompleted work, ignores BBB complaints, wont answer calls, blocks on Faceboook. Just WOW...nothing but thieves!

AWA stole two very valuable guns from a friend of mine after he sent them in for some gunsmithing work. A year later, they responded with the check in the mail routine when he asked about them and now have cut contact with him entirely. This seems like a great business to use if you want to get your guns stolen by a couple of crooks. Yall should be ashamed of yourselves.

A member of the store has actively participated in theft of property and services on firearms in promise of fixing two older guns. When attempts to make contact were made, they blow off people refusing to give back the firearms. I would not recommend this business at all.

Company doesnt even deserve a single star if they are going to lie, cheat, and steal two valuable guns from a customer and do everything in their power to discredit the owner of said firearms.I would certainly beware of doing any business with these scammers. I honestly hope they get raided.

Ive had numerous firearms transferred and work done through AWA. Nothing, but praise for this place and would highly recommend.

Rather than take the high road and face the mistake, everything seems to indicate that AWA is either pretending that there is no issue or is complicit in the wrongdoing. The offended party has been fair and reasonable to a fault, so it is hard to believe how bold this company could be when facing accusations of theft or loss of customer property. I would not do business with a company that treats customers this way.

A friend has been recently scammed by this company. He has screenshots and evidence of them beating around the bush rather than returning his property. This is very disconcerting when it comes to a company that deals with firearms.

Do not trust this company. They accept guns for service and then keep them, while ignoring all means of contact and then outright blocking the owning party.

This company’s blatant disregard for ATF regulations and lack of overall communication means you send these guys guns to work on and they never send them back. Avoid at all cost.
