A really Good clean very professional place. Bought a 22 LR revolver abt a month ago love it ...
Bought the rancher carbine only to find out that it is missing the front sling mount on the barrel, spent 45 mins on hold on two different calls. thought the problem was resolved and they were gonna get one sent to me, called back a week later after another 30 mins on hold to be told that it is not included and i will need to buy on ebay. all pictures including the stock photos show that part, all of the ones i see for sale on the internet show that part. i just do not feel that everyone, including heritage bought of ebay. truly dissapointed with the company dynamics. I will never buy another product from them and have recently put up all of the firearms i own on sale. will spend a little more for a product from a company that will help the consumers.
They are no longer in operation there and have not been for several years. Some company that has not bothered to change their website!!
Purchased a brand new Rough Rider 22LR about 2 months ago from a vendor at a local gun show. My nephew and I went out to the range this past weekend to fire it. The gun will not fire due to inability for the safety hammer block to disengage fully. Good luck trying to get a hold of the manufacturer or warranty info customer rep. Prepare to spend an hour between phone menus and hold times. After finally getting through to someone and explaining what was going on (I believe I was talking to a receptionist as opposed to a technician). The only recourse I have is to send the gun back and they will see whats wrong. I was told turn around time will be 12 weeks once they receive it.
First of all, none of the newer model Heritage Rough Riders in either 22LR/Mag or .357 Magnum (I own both) have four-click hammers. They are three-clicks...BANG! For the price, these are fantastic single-action firearms. My .357 Magnum Rough Rider 4.75 barrel is the most fun of all of my numerous handguns to shoot. Would I like a Ruger Vaquero .357? Sure! Would I spend $250 over what I paid for the Heritage? Hell no! These are good heavily built and accurate guns. Dont believe me...watch Hickok45s reviews on them.
Not happy so far, I dont know how the gun shoots yet, ordered it in through a local gun shop here in Jacksonville FL. Gun came in quickly, got home, took the pistol out of the box. The hammer wouldnt even move to first click. Cylinder wouldnt rotate as hammer was pulled. Called the OEM, was told to send to them. They have had it for 2 weeks, still not repaired yet. Beginning to wonder if I am ever going to get my revolver back. Maybe one day..... I will probably end up just taking the loss and trade it in on a S&W.
I recently picked up a rough rider in 22lr to use in my cwp classes. I have had fun using this at the range as well as some of my students. Thanks for an awesome product without breaking the bank and also being made in Miami.
Absolutely satisfied with the product!! Gets the job done!! Works very well with what I intended to use it for. Getting the JOB done with 22 mag when it comes to hogs in a trap!!
I just love there .22 rough Rider..put about 200 rounds thru it and no problems
Excellent gun ! Well crafted, comfortable to handle, and a nice, accurate shooter. It does have 4 clicks if you know how to use it. Just like a Colt. Bravo !!!
Bad customer service wont reply back about purchasing a part that I lost !!! Good guns but bad staff!!!
Shot my Rough rider today for the first time . did about 220 rounds . Love this gun . fun to shoot, hits what you aim at . My only problem is when you e mail to the company - nobody replys back .Great gun at a great price !!
I bought a brand new Heritage rough rider. It was unsafe and defective out of the box. The cylinder will not lock up when the hammer is cocked and if fired could have fired a round with the chamber not aligned with the bore.I spoke to CS and a supervisor and was told that spare cylinders were on backorder, it would be 6-8 weeks before they could send me one to fix the gun, maybe more or maybe less they are not sure. I asked them that since the cylinders were drop in and required no fitting, could they send me one from the current production, and not wait for the bakorder of spare cylinders. They would not agree to this and told me I just had to wait for the backorder. Now I am waiting until possibly March or later to use the gun I just bought.
I ordered a .22 mag. cylinder for my Pistol a month ago. I contacted them today, and all they say is that it is on backorder... and no clue when to expect it. Really???
Bought a heritage rough rider about a month ago and first time I shot it, trigger went loose, and hammer didnt give four clicks, just goes straight back.
Poor
Good weapons
