The owner is a really nice guy, had a little bit of a hiccup but not going to go into detail about it, not that big of a deal we talked it through and got it figured out.Nice place, clean bathrooms, nice TV with internet to watch movies on and free snacks, comfy couch makes you feel at home. Only my second time going here, seems like a good place to go.

I called about having the air in my car taken care of, Sam called back told me what he planned to do found it to be great prices. I went in they got to my car quickly the lobby was cozy I got work done while waiting and the people were great they held conversations with me. The whole experience was wonderful, I would recommend them to anyone looking to have work done.

The owner of this particular Meineke (Sam) is one of the most honest guys you will meet. Hes very friendly, and if he spots a problem he will tell you, even if you arent there for that service. I use SAM for all my car needs, he knows his stuff, and hes a Veteran! Very good guy, good staff, and great work.

My car was taken in on time for my appointment, he test drove it to see exactly what I needed done for my brakes and got the work done in a timely manner. I came from Columbus, GA, to visit my family when my A C on my car begun to behave strangely, meaning stopped cooling and the fan stopped blowing air. There was no air output . I called Meineke in Hickory, North Carolina, they were so professional with Awesome Customer Service. I was told to bring it in. Now the A C is blowing artic air which is great. Had care trouble passing through town on a Holiday weekend. The owner took our car in on Friday afternoon, had it fixed by Saturday afternoon and made arrangements for us to pick up our keys on Monday when the business was closed for the Holiday. Would highly recommend!

Great man and very fair. I call him all the time about car problems and he always give it straight up and is honest with me. He is not someone that will take your money and over charge. I was in an out in an hour. The waiting area was very nice and my two young children were able to sit with me and the tv was turned on cartoons to help ease the wait.

The multiple times Ive brought my car in for various services was nothing less than exceptional. Genuinely honestly family run business which literally saved me about $800 on a specific problem which I have had no success finding a solution to in numerous other mechanics in the area. These guys will think outside the box, even if at no benefit to them, to help you solve whatever problem you may have. Id recommend them to my grandma!

Didn’t help at all. They had no cars in the lot and didn’t help me and my mom because we were both woc stranded out in the country side.

Meineke’s is fabulous. I was called and informed of the problem with my car before it was fixed. He walked me through the cost and repair. I also asked about my wheel alignment, after he found out it was off he called before fixing it. He is very honest and very fast.

If you are reading reviews in search of an honest mechanic who provides professional work at an extremely good value than look no further. This place is a Christian and army veteran owned shop. The owner is an amazing guy and kept us entertained while the car was getting repaired. The issue was something that my last mechanic forgot to do (grounding a wire from the wiper motor). They fixed it quickly and at a very low price. I live about 45 minutes away, but will only come here for major repairs from now on.

The crew was great great attitude you know they listen to me they checked my problem they took care of it gave me a fair price and got it done and we had a good conversation I wish them the best I would definitely take my car back there and I will recommend other people

This is one of the most amazing work I’ve seen in hickory in a very long time. Mr. Sam is very professional, makes you feel like your right at home, greets with respect and very attentive to the customers needs. My boyfriend and I were very skeptical about walking in due to the past owners unprofessional work with our previous car, but once you walked in you could see a whole different Vibe. Looked amazing nothing compared to last shop, the shop has a very homie feel. Also the work was perfectly done and on time my boyfriend was shocked that Mr. Sam has already finished the job by time my boyfriend got off work.
