I get it we are all understaffed and many people have to do the same things on one day sometimes, but getting a Scheduled Appointment at 12 and getting out at 5:30 for my brakes was just out of line. I get the autoparts company took long, but a little bit of communication doesnt hurt anything I had to keep asking.I made the appointment 12 so they could get a good time and I could also make it in time for an event, and this was insane 5 hours and half its just ridiculous!Thanks to the guy that attended us, he did grate even tho there were quite the number of customers mad.

Went in for a wheel alignment on Thursday, since my car was pulling to the right. Paid over $100 and my car was still pulling to the right. Called back and the person on the phone told me to bring it back and pay for a $20 inspection. Took my car the next day to another shop, did a wheel alignment, paid $40, car is not pulling to the right, and driving fine. They also told me that they must have not done my alignment correctly because that was the issue. Would much rather take my car to another shop that charges less and does the job right! Never again Firestone!

Service may be fine but I called to make an appointment. They said they they could do an alignment in 45 min to an hour. Drove 40 minutes there and they told me 2.5 hr wait. Thanks for wasting 1.5 hours of my Saturday. I will not take a chance on finding out if their service is actually any good and I would suggest going to Pep Boys or NTB where they take appointments unless you have the time to waste, then Firestone may be your choice.

Hello I am writing review because my wife had front brakes changed pads and rotors cause they were making noise $500 so they said they were done we picked up car and still heard squealing so we took back they said bake drum brakes bad and wheel cylinder leaking so we said ok fix if necessary $629 so picked up car agin and before we got home same noise with all new brake🤔called and said bring back aginSo we brought back agin said some clips were put in wrong easy fix ready for pick up, same noise not fixed $1129 later called agin upset and said Ol sorry bring back, they said they tried to replicate noise but couldn’t even when we showed video with audio so in the end still have noise save yourself aggravation and money find a better garage with experienced technicians.hope this helps somebody

My cars front caliper locked up on way to work this morning. Called Firestone Kenneth said bring it on in. Even though they were short handed and he ran into several issues with my repairs. He kept me informed with a phone call each time and had my car fixed and ready by 4pm the same day. Ive been taking my vehicles here for years and have never had any kind of problem. No bodies perfect, and someone will have problems with anywhere they take their vehicle if they just dont communicate, be patient, and dont expect something for nothing. Jimmy the manager really helped me out with a tire issue. Without going into details it saved me a lot of money. And I’d like to say as I was there waiting it was very busy yet all the staff there worked calmly and efficiently. You can’t please everyone but it’s a well-oiled business that gets the job done. I’ve used Firestone before but tried my luck with Walmart and Sam’s Club and they were both horrible. The guy at Sam’s decided to break my heads up display. Walmart tire shop was closed most of the year and could never put the right amount of air in the tires. I’d much rather have the professionals at Firestone.

Amazing experience! We had a flat tire about 40 minutes east of the shop on hwy 40.The tire was sliced in the tread and was not salvageable. We use Firestone in our hometown and I definitely wanted to use them. I called a little after 3pm and it was a Saturday so they were only open until 5. Jimmy who is the manager answered and immediately assured me that they would help us and not to worry about the time. We ended up purchasing two new rear tires and we were on our way in 45 minutes! Our technician was Torry and he did an outstanding job! Thanks for taking a stressful situation and making it easier for us!!

My daughter came here to have her AC checked. $500 later AC does not work and they did an alignment she didnt even ask for then told her shell need to take the car to the dealership to have the ac pc board fixed. However prior to going the AC controls came on fine but just blew hot air, now the AC controls dont even come on and they claim to have replaced a hose and put freon in yet how can we tell now that it wont even turn on after they touched it. Really! $500 for an alignment and AC hose repair that didnt even fix it! And left with a new issue! Taking advantage of a young girl who only works PT at a restaurant and still has a broken AC and no money left to take it to someone trusting. Just horrible!!!

I could not be happier with the service that I received. I went in for a battery. They tested my old battery to be sure that I truly needed a new one. I did in fact need a battery. The price of the battery was a better value based on product quality and warranty than any competitor price. I was also given a military discount which was very nice. I would definitely recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care.

We will never go back again. They replaced parts on our vehicle before even running a diagnostic. Then, while installing that part they broke another. We had to order that part from a local part store because they couldnt for some reason. They never offered to put on the part they broke and they never offered to reimburse us for the broken part. They never admitted to breaking it at all. I dont think they are dirty and out to swindle people, but they dont know what theyre doing.

Lied to a Vet.My regular oil change place quit offering Oil Change Special for Veterans Day. I called this place and the guy said, Oh, yeah. We are doing that.So I wasted 10 minutes giving him my information. Then he began giving me what amounts to the highest oil change prices in Hickory (and those were the coupon rates). I interrupted him and said, No sir. I asked you about the Veteran Discount you said you were offering.And he replied, Oh, no. We dont do that.Liar ... you wont get any f MY business. Im posting this everywhere I can.

I went in for an oil change and inspection after work and was out within 30mins.. And thats with more work done that was needed. Ive never felt like they found unnecessary additional work they claim needs to be done just to get more money out of me like Ive experienced at other auto shops. Keep up good work Firestone!

I went in to get my tires replaced and to get an alignment and it was by far the fastest and best service Ive ever received! Ive gone to people who specialize in alignments and whatnot, and theyve taken forever and the end product was awful, Ive came out of shops asking myself, did they even do anything to my car?After having my tires replaced and car aligned, my car drives better than when I got it from the dealership! Would definitely recommend!

I am relatively new to the area and just went to Firestone today for an oil change and tire rotation so very basic maintenance that I can do myself but on a cold winter day, this was the better option.It took a bit before they were able to work on my vehicle but once they did, it was swift and they performed their work very well. The oil and filter was changed and the tires were rotated properly. What I did find refreshing was the fact that they took the time to actually make sure the tires were torqued to spec by hand, which is rare in this day and age. Often times, tires/lug nuts are not torqued to spec but rather just tightened with impact guns which ruins the lug nuts and can make it incredibly difficult for DIY jobs in the future.This was just my first time here and I must say I was very impressed. They also checked my brake pads, gave me a honest measurement of my pads, fluids, battery, and did not push anything nor suggest that my vehicle needed any additional maintenance/repairs. I will definitely be a regular here from now on

Great staff worked with me on my needs and saved me a lot of money on repairs I was told I need and after checking it out they told me I didnt. Honesty goes a long way in my book. Will definitely make the hour and a half trip for any future work I may need.

They were very nice to get our car in as they were closing on Saturday before Easter. They diagnosed the problem and gave us advice, even though they knew they were not going to be fixing it. Very nice fellas.

I cannot say.enough good things about this Firestone. I took my van to be serviced and when the tech was pulling it into the bay he heard clicking noises. They asked me if I had heard them and I said yes. For years I have had the car in the dealership and other automotive centers and nobody could find anything. They examined the axle and determined the cause. They couldnt believe I had been driving it like that because it could have locked up or caught on fire. The staff at this Firestone found my problem and fixed it. When they took it apart it was completely rusted. I could have had a serious wreck. I cannot give them a high enough rating. They are the GREATEST!!!!!!!

We absolutely love Firestone. We stopped in to this one while out of town on vacation. They took really good care of us. Allowed us to bring in our cat in his go bag, to get out of the heat. They fixed our truck with a few unforseen hiccups. The whole time made us feel at home and they truly cared that we were out of town with car issues, and how stressful it was for us. Honest, hardworking people, who really care about their customers.

Theyve always done right by us, discounting where they can, fixing things the right way, and making it right if they couldnt the first time. We recently had a variable timing belt system replaced and it broke down the day after we got the vehicle back. They not only paid the towing company but also fixed the problem with additional parts at no extra charge. This is our shop and we love it.

Had oil changed here many times. Always tell me when air filters need to be changed and never pressure you to have them do it for you. Great service, and reasonable prices, especially when you show them the coupons on their app.

I had flat tyre due to debris on the Interstate. Turned out it was unrepairable. They managed to get me in on a busy day before Thanksgiving. Coffee franchise next door was comfy while I was waiting.

Second visit- very different experience. I called ahead to make sure they werent busy and had time to look at my car. I took time off work to go mid day. When I arrived, I was the only customer there. I told them my driver window power switch needed to be replaced. I waited 40 minutes and realized they hadnt even moved my car into the garage area. After an additional 20 min. they told me the problem was the power switch. They apologized and didnt charge me the $10 fee but wasted time off work cost me about 20x that amount. I wish they wouldve been honest I and told me everyone who can assess car window problem is going to be at lunch for an hour.

Michael was great. He waited for us to get there and help with our tire problem. He and his tech stayed after closing hours to help us. So grateful for them. Best Firestone every.

I have never in my life been treated worse by a professional business. I arrived as one of 2 total customers in the entire place at about 4:30 (they close at 6) I get told I should be taken care of before they close so I sit there and wait and wait and wait and wait. And after about an hour and a 15 minutes literally right before they close they try to tell me my 2 front tires can’t be changed because the lugnuts wouldn’t break loose. They then went onto tell me my hubcaps would have to be replaced and didn’t hesitate to try to get me a quote for more money. Well I take the car to my mechanic in Gastonia which is why I went to this despicable place in the first place.......(Never again I would drive 2 hours to avoid this place) ..... my mechanic goes onto not only changing both front tires in under 45 minutes. The price and quality of visit was 10 times better. This might be the most scummy lowlife professional place I have ever done business with. I would avoid at all costs and am very curious as to if they have any kind of response. I don’t know if they made an honest mistake or were trying to take advantage of an 18 year old for more money. Anyway they are lucky I didn’t report for malpractice. Good day.

Had to come here on a Sunday morning to get a flat tire patched. I was the first one in the door at 8am and they didn’t get the tire off until 8:54. The repair itself didn’t take long and was out at 9:30, but 50min to pull the first vehicle in and determine whether a tire is repairable or not is unacceptable.

They do a great job at general oil changes but anything more than that I would not recommend. I had brand new brakes installed and right after my car started making a funny noise. I took it back to them twice to have them look at it and they assured me nothing was wrong. I felt like they just didnt want to listen to me because I am a female. I then take it to a new mechanic who informs me when they installed the brakes they completely destroyed the rotors. Needless to say I had a really expensive repair bill that could have been avoided if they would have just installed the brakes properly.

Honest Review! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My car broke down and I had it towed to Firestone. So a few days later it was ready so I went to get it. Only after 20 minutes I swear it broke down again. I called Firestone and they sent a towtruck to get my car. It took them a couple days but they figured out what was wrong with my car. It needed more parts and they got them and soon I was on my way back to get my car again. It was 100% free! The new parts came up to over 500.00$, just the parts. Today you cant trust ppl to do the right thing but at Firestone you can! Thx you Firestone for being trust worthy. Yes I will keep using them on my and my husband truck.

Had appointment at 130. My wife called to see if we could come in earlier. Chris ( employee) said that they are slammed. So I said we will go at 130. My wife is always early for any appointments. Its just the way to be. We get there at 1:12 checked in. Then we waited for 32 minutes. Watching one dude eat, while dropping food all over the garage floor. 4 guys sitting around a computer. While they had four garage spots available. My wife walked over and requested the keys. They didnt even say, we will get you in right now or sorry or anything. That is not the right way to handle a business. Even of they would have politely told is we are still busy we may be a little late getting to you. But nothing. Poor business practices. Not only that, they have a bathroom for both genders. Well a dude walked out. My wife went in. And there was urine all over the seat. She came out said it loud enough for the dude at the register to hear, that it was filthy. He walked out for toilet paper and took it to the bathroom. No cleaning supplies. And no there wasnt a place for cleaning supplies in the bathroom. Rediculous.

I was riding down I40 near Valdese, NC and noticed my back left tire on a F150 needed repair, apparently running over something. Simply needed to change the tire with my spare. Being 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon I asked what time they closed and if they could put my spare on. Person answering the phone said they closed at 6 but no he would not put my spare on for me!! Clearly he only wanted to sell a new tire when my spare was fine! Think Ill use Goodyear from now on!!! Ladies dont bother using this place.

I had a horrid experience at another Firestone while on a road trip where I was told they had put in a bad part and since it was close to closing time that I should limp my car home to Hickory and they would replace it since it was under warranty.I was incredibly hesitant as I had left the previous establishment cursing (which I never do at anyone that has to deal with the general public) But this place had restored my hope in Firestone. They not only replaced the part that the other place had put in but they fixed the entire problem at no charge to me. Well, no extra charge. Lol They were so friendly and being a 21 year old female, I did not fee belittled or talked down to at all. Well done boys!

Went there bc my tire keeps losing air they gave me a courtesy check said nothing was wrong with my tire, also said my tires had about 1/2 tread and I will need to get new tires in about 6 mos and I asked if nothing is wrong with my tire why does it keep losing air, they said maybe its the weather, so today bc of the storm and I was slipping and sliding so bad on the road I went to Walmart and had them check my tires again....well my front passenger tire was bald on the inside with Wires showing and the tire I had them check oh yeah it had a nail in it, seriously, I drive my 2 year old and 1 year old grandchildren daily and Firestone could have caused me to be in a serious accident, I will Never use them again! DO NOT GO THERE! I decided to get my car serviced here due to all the positive reviews, however, how is it that I go in with a good part (coming from THEIR OWN professional mechanical inspector) and end up going home with a bad, sparking part (when they just told me that it was good when I arrived and agreed to a diagnostic test)??!! They refused to replace the part and wanted to charge me up the ass and claim that it was a possibility the part couldve gone bad.. OH NO! That was not communicated to me before I agreed to get my car serviced. I was just told that my part was good and all I know is that my good part went bad in their hands. The service manager got involved in the problem and couldnt handle anything due to it being the store managers decision. What a waste of time!!! AVOID going there!

My first experience there was great. Got an oil change and they rotated my tires for free. So I went back for another oil change but I dealt with a different manager who told me they didnt have time, but I could come back tomorrow. Out of desperation I did, and again was told that they were too busy but I could come back tomorrow. I cant help but laugh as I take my business elsewhere.

Its cool let me know when you can get to it tommorow is cool . But when you call not even ten minutes after I leave an say your technician cant do the work . Wats the problem here . So now I got it towed to a real complete auto care center an will be fixed by tommorow which is when I really needed it back . Nutshelling dont shake my hand an say Ill take of it sir and then fail miserably at not honoring our handshake agreement. If you didnt want the work shouldve just said so . Instead of heehawing me around .

The last couple times I have had appointment with Firestone Auto Service in Hickory, they are always slow and never have it ready when they should. There is a guy that works in the bay that is constantly taking smoke breaks and on his cell phone doing nothing. My grandson was in there today, he had appointment at 1:00 and at 2:00 they still havent finished balancing tires and alignment. Poor customer service.

Stopped by my breaks were making s noise, so I stopped by to see if there was a problem.

When I arrived on Saturday there was only 1 person in waiting room and most bays were open I only needed oil change and tire rotation after 11/2 hrs they finally took vehicle in . Took another 45 minutes to do this little bit of work. If it was my personal vehicle I wouldve left but being a company vehicle didnt have any choice but to deal with it..... Terrible service

They claimed to have changed my brakes. I left and drove my car and the brakes continued to screech. They then looked at them put oil on them and that was it. I have now gone to a family mechanic and he said all the brakes are stock factory they never changed them. Dont trust this place they lie over charge

Went in to have front brakes replaced. was told that the roters could not be turned and had to be replaced. vehicle only had 40k miles on it. advised i did not want them to do anything additional to my vehicle. they had to do the brakes since they were already off but when i took the vehicle to another repair shop to get a second opinion, i was told the brakes could be turned and everything is ok. firestone tried to sell me something i did not need in order to get more money out of me. also, vehicle was there for hours and i was suppose to be called when it was done. when i called to check on it, they told me my car was finished over 2 hours ago and they did not know why i did not receive a phone call. since i did not want the new roters, the sales rep that i originally worked with would not speak to me and had me checked out by another associate. will never ever go here again. it was my first and last time ever going. they are all for the money and not for the service. would not even recommend to my enemy.
