Returned to the store for a bed exchange, within my allotted time frame for an exchange, and to my surprise it was the most pleasant experience. Wasnt sure if i was going to have issues with my exchange but Graham was most helpful and understanding. He even had me use their new technology called smartMATCH to ensure my exchange was a perfect fit for me and my sleep patterns/issues. I was very impressed with the technology and match. I walked out a satisfied customer and with no doubt due to Grahams superior customer service. Im a happy BedMart customer and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality mattress.

Our sales person was Risa Watkins. She was great. Very sweet and patient. We kept going back and forth between beds trying to make a decision. She tried to get us the best deal possible.The reason for the four stars is the confusion with the delivery, which took two days. We thought we were getting a one piece foundation, but two pieces came. The delivery guys were great and noticed this and called the store to make sure it was the correct foundation. They were told it was not (by a salesperson in Kona), so they took the order back. Chris from the Hilo store called us back right away and cleared up all of this misunderstanding - it was the correct foundation. He even squeezed us in for delivery the next day. The delivery guys were great - courteous and accommodating.The service was great. Hilo store gets 5 stars.

So, lets talk about delivery services for a moment, because these guys never get enough credit for showing up. After we had a great experience with Rachel at the BedMart mattress store in Kona picking out two twin XL mattresses, we awaited their delivery, which was scheduled only a couple of days out. Castle and Tim. These two gentlemen who delivered the beds called to announce when they would arrive, arrived on time, with smiles on their faces. What more do you want in delivery? Oh, Im not done yet. They handled the beds and our walls with care, up two flights of stairs (good Lord and one of them was a split staircase with a sharp turn), and assembled them exactly as I asked them to. We knew we also needed to purchase a sofa from BedMart Furniture (yes, because we didnt want to go anywhere else after our experience with Rachel and now with Castle and Tim...because...why go anywhere else with this kind of service?) and hoped to see Castle and Tim again.Thank you to you two professional, friendly, careful delivery men!!!To BedMart: Give Castle and Tim a raise. They earned it!UPDATE: After we purchased a sofa from the BedMart Furniture Store in Kona, we awaited delivery. Guess what? Castle appeared again! Our new trustworthy, friendly delivery man! As with our first delivery experience, they called ahead, arrived on time, and carefully and professionally maneuvered at the new sofa to its rightful position in our living room condo. After going to a few different stores looking for a new bed my fiancé and I ended up at BedMart. As soon as we walked in we were met by Phillip Graham. I originally went in looking for a bed for my daughter and Graham helped us out. He was very thorough with our options and his recommendations. Shopping for a mattress can be as uncomfortable as shopping for a car, but we had a great experience at Bedmart. Went in just to “look” at other option and got helped my graham. He was great! He was friendly and took into consideration the price range we wanted to stay between. Just moved to Pahoa and needed a mattress quickly. In the age of COVID, ship-to-order is as good as never getting it. Gram hooked us up with a couple of mattresses he had IN HIS WAREHOUSE and we drove home with them. Did he hold us hostage? Nope! They were also decent bargains for what we took home. Great experience! I was in the store for maybe 15 minutes max, and was leaving with exactly what I was looking for. I had a good idea of what type of bed I was wanting, but still had a few questions. I was helped by Phillip almost immediately up walking through the door. I asked him a few questions, he had me try out a few mattresses, and I purchased that day. Graham made the difference! Needed a new bed after 14 years. Yes lol that’s a long time to have one bed but we couldn’t afford a new one. Did a lot of online research and then called and spoke to Graham at the Hilo store. Graham answered ALL of my many many questions. He was so easy to talk stories with on the phone that we came to his store to return the favor (so to speak). I called the other mattress store in Hilo, the girl was not very helpful & never returned my call. And we went there (by mistake) and it was not very nice or clean. Which is totally OK, not being rude. Went to Bedmart and wow! Super nice store, nice beds, even had furniture, and was very clean especially during Covid. We bought a tempur pedic bed and then believe it or not a living room set (yep ours was also 14 years old lol). Graham spent like 2 1/2 hours with us, was even calm with our kids. I went in to the Hilo BedMart on Thursday, February 13th with the intention of purchasing a Twin topper for my mother to use post cancer surgery. I also wanted to check out beds as I wanted to get one after we get moved in the next few months.I had the pleasure to greeted immediately by Phillip Graham. A true professional and I feel an asset to this store. He approached us and after hearing what we were looking for asked if he could just tell us about the sale that was going on. Proceeded to let us know that there was no pressure to purchase.When I explained why I was there for the topper, he took extra special care of my Mom as we checked out beds and couches.I also explained that I couldnt take the bed that day, in fact I would want it delivered to our new place once we got moved. He explained there would be no worries with them holding it for me.Graham took the time to explain how the bed should feel when youre laying on it. Then had me try another one until I felt that floating/cloud like feeling.Not only would I recommend this store to others, we will definitely be back for that Hide-A-Bed.....LOL a Sleeper Sofa.

Sold me the wrong mattress for the frame.

Went looking for a simple six inch deep mattress. Chris knew his inventory so well that he could give me an immediate answer. Next day he showed me two in my price range. I was in and out on 20 minutes. My kind of shopping. Really nice guy, no upsell pressure, and a good knowledge of his products. Delivery the next day. A local Hawaiian company. Buy local.....it matters. Mahal plenty.

After putting down a deposit, went back 3 times asking for a preview of the sectional sleeper before delivery, and got excuse each time why they couldnt do that from Greg and Karen even though they promised they would. Not going back to get bullied and waste my time Calling the district manager.
