Nice place for your home decor and furniture needs. Quality furniture, friendly staff, and warm atmosphere. Parking was confusing as we wonder where we should go to gain entrance. We decided to pull into driveway which heads to the back of the building, there is ample parking. Head towards the side of the building near the front to enter.

Rude sales people;expensive

We have been shopping online for a while now and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted to look at going in. Jeri, a kind and boisterous lady who has worked there for 18 years, greeted us at the door, but we werent hounded as we shopped, which is what we had hoped for.After we had traverse the floor scouting out everything from beds to dining tables to area rugs, we approached Jeri for assistance. She took down all of the items we were ordering, and was very open about the time it would take to receive our order. In our case most of the items wont be in for 6-8 months, but having shopped around I can tell you that is par for the course on the big island right now. 2020 disrupted a lot of shipments so outside the teak store, you just cant find many places with high quality furniture, it is all on back order.After we had been rang up, they charged a 25% deposit on the order, with the rest due on delivery. All in all, feeling really good about the purchase, Ill try to update this after delivery which is likely to be in sep 2021... But possibly later.

Enjoyed my walk through, salesmen kit was awesome. However he got a tad outdone by the sales/salesmen at other mattress stores. So I decided to purchases elsewhere.

We were shopping for a living room sofa and love seat recliner combo. Our salesman took us right to the type of set we were looking for, explained all the different features and was able to find us additional discounts. Very professional and extremely helpful.

My wife ordered a dresser and matching night stands. They did not have the dresser in stock so we asked for the floor model, they said no. That was fine, we paid for everything up front and waited 2 months for it all to come in. On the day of delivery, the delivery guy is reviewing our paper work and mentions to my wife that she ordered a used dresser. That is not the case, our paper work states that we paid for everything NEW. My wife calls in and they say that we ordered used one and they gave us the floor model we asked for. Why did they make us wait 2 months if they were going to give us the floor model anyway? When my wife made them look it up on their computer to compare the prices of a new dresser vs a used one, they noticed that the sales person did charge us for a new one, and they were unwilling to let us keep the used one with a refund in the price difference. So here we are, 3 months later with no dresser and no expected date of arrival.

Buy your mattress here, specifically from Kourtney! She was one of the best sales people Ive ever encountered. Friendly, patient, knowledgable. I went to the 2 other mattress stores in Hilo and the customer service was embarrassingly bad in comparison. We purchased from Homeworld very much because of Kourtney, and then were very happy with the price we paid.

Furniture side I great, mattress side is terrible!!! I delt with Courtney in Hilo, I ordered a day bed frame that I expressed I needed as soon as possible. Of course standard shipping is 4-6 weeks. I waited out the 4-6 weeks then I got no call to pick up my item. I called Courtney about 4 times and everytime I was told she would call me back, which she didnt. I called one last time before Id go into the stkre myself luckily she answered. Then then explained to me that my item was never shipped and that it will be another 4-6 weeks. (I was pissed) I told her to cancel my order to which she replied that she could get my item here within 3 weeks if that will work for me. Irritated, i agreed because I needed that bed frame for visitors. So I waited out the 3 weeks....one the 3rd week I got no calls. I waited an extra week.... STILL NO CALL! I called Courtney and her excuse was they have over shipped other items and mines wasnt a priority so it was pushed back one week. I decided to leave it alone... id give them this last chance and Id never order from them again. I am a repeat customer, ive purchased a custom sofa and oddoman, a mango wood dining table and this is what it has come down to.
