Hands down best honey lavender latte I’ve ever had. Real lavender is used and it’s not overpowering. Truly delicious. And the egg and bacon burrito WOW! $1/slice for the bacon but it’s SO GOOD!! Crispy and almost a little candied?? Not sure but wow it was delicious. This place is a must!

Yumyum.... really good tasting food here. The coffee is a yuge bonus. Very good all around and the outdoor seating area is bonus bonus .

This place is full of flavor! I went three times on my seven or so day visit to Hilton Head Island. Right when you walk in, the local places where the ingredients Java Burrito uses, are written on a black chalk board. The ingredients are local and fresh, and you will taste that. This place was a Chipotle on steroids, so good. Milkshakes, coffees, and margaritas are served here also. I got an espresso milkshake twice, it was thick and delicious. I posted a picture of my burrito bowl with fish, too good. The setup is similar to other burrito companies. Walk right down the line and state exactly what you want in your order. Load the ingredients and enjoy!

Heard great things. However, everything was cold. Not sure what the protocol is on things coming straight out of the fridge and onto the warm food. Even the potatoes that were under a warmer when I ordered them were cold. Wasnt my best experience. Could have just been because they were so busy they couldnt keep up.

This place makes you feel like family time you walk in. If you are ever in Hilton Head make this your first and last place you visit!!!!

Gluten free and allergy friendly! It was so hard finding a place who does not gluten cross-contaminate on the island; I ordered the bowl with fish and had no problems 🙌🏻 I also have multiple food allergies and was able to avoid all of them! 💯recommend for celiacs and allergy sufferers.

Java Burrito is my favorite place on the island. Please know that I am not a Hilton Head expert - I have only vacationed there twice. However, I have been to Java at least 7 times. Their staff is incredibly friendly. I love the cooked to order fish option they have each day. I am a huge fan of this type of cuisine. All of the meat is clean and fresh and healthy. Organic and local meats and produce.I also love that they have breakfast. I have always wanted chipotle or salsaritas to give breakfast a try.Lastly, their coffee is the best coffee on the island. I haven’t found a better option.

The food was literally so delicious, its like a chipotle but so much better since I dislike it very much. My mom got salad as her base and put various toppings on it such as chicken, cooked vegetables, onions, tomatoes, and some sort of sauce. With my brother being a strange human being, he got a single taco with chicken, tomatoes and hot sauce. Weird. I got 2 tacos although I shouldve asked for more because they were super good, with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese so so much cheese, and something else. It didnt make me sick or hungry, and it was all very tasty. It was dinner when we ate, and I totally wanted to go for a breakfast there. There were multiple bases and vegan/vegetarian options too. I would definitely go again as well.

This is our go-to place for tacos/burritos on the island. Staff is always friendly and the food is awesome! They load you up with meat of your choice (or beans for the non-carnivores) and the toppings are fresh.They say they have the best margarita in SC...let me tell ya, it’s TRUE! Hot afternoon called for a fresh Lime Marg (with salt)...was amazing!After our week on island, we swung in to grab a breakfast burrito and iced coffee for the road. Again, great food and super-tasty iced coffee. (Tip: order breakfast online for pick up...place gets busy in the AM).Can’t wait for the next trip back to HHI...and another round of margs and food!

Went to sleep last night dreaming about breakfast burritos after reading the reviews for Java. It did not disappoint. Super fresh and fast with plenty of outdoor seating. Great service too. The wife got an iced mocha that she says was wonderful...(I dont drink coffee) If youre on the island and need a burrito fix do yourself a favor and try Java Burrito Company!

Our neighbors recommended this lovely restaurant and coffee cafe for our 1st trip to Hilton Head. We dropped in for a burrito, a bowl, and two mixed drinks for lunch outside on the patio. The format is similar to Chipotle but at a higher quality. Everything was excellent and there are fine vegetarian options including both the pinto beans and the black beans. We didnt have any coffee but several locals told us it was the best coffee shop on the island.

Java Burrito is a casual make-your-own-meal place where you can eat indoors or outdoors. The food is always fresh. The workers who prep the meals are very patient and fast. In the summer months it gets very busy with a big line, I would suggest ordering online to get your meal by cutting the line. Breakfast lunch and dinner are served. I recommend it whenever you want a quick yet fulfilling meal.

If you want an exceptionally good meal in the style of Chipotle, this place is better. And on top of their pretty darn good take on that style they also have a ton of coffee drinks and the much sought after pappy Van Winkle. Pretty sure its the 10-year its still going to cost you about 50 bucks a shot. Which might seem outlandish to some people but if you know you know.

We came to Hilton Head on a work trip and were looking for good priced food that was not fast food. We got Java Burrito for lunch one day and came back 4 more times. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff was very friendly! I loved their coffee, it tastes even better than starbucks, and my boyfriend enjoyed the sweet tea they make there. We are definitely going to miss this restaurant, there really is no downside to this place!

The food is very tasty. Supporting local businesses is what youre doing when you eat here. Its obvious that theyve made extra efforts to put customers at ease by implementing various protocols related to covid-19. I enjoyed the cold-brew coffee and their margaritas. Employees are friendly and hard-working. Outdoor seating is also available and my dog enjoyed sitting out there with us. Come stop by and enjoy yourself in this relaxed environment. You deserve it.

This place is so good! And they have a vegan meat option, beyond meat! I got a burrito and it was amazing, the beyond meat seasoned very well. This is like a better chipotle plus a coffee shop! It’s also very cute. The staff is also very friendly. Highly recommend for an easy meal.

Ordered a lavender latte w/ almond milk and it exceeded my expectations!! Really delicious and strong coffee. Paired it with 2 macaroons which hit the spot. Highly recommend this place!

The food is always great and the team is always super kind. But it is my personal opinion that if you pay for Cheese dip then chips should be free. What kind of Mexican Joint is this 😭 Fiesta Fresh hooks it up with the chips. But I still love Java burritos. Their happy hour looks awesome too!

We last had dinner from here last October 2020; we then had take-out and it was so good that we wanted to try again. Tonight we did dine-in; again not disappointed; despite a steady stream of customers, service was fast, and we had no problems finding a table. Our custom burritos were good and fresh. Definitely a good stop tonight.

Awesome! We were a party of 11, 5 adults and 6 kids. We arrived about 6pm on a summer evening. Short line to order but we found an inside table(s). All was great and very efficient. I had a steak quesadilla and it was great along with a great lime margarita. By about 7:10 there was a line well out the door but it moves fast. Limited inside seating, but lots of seating outside with quite a bit under roof. Well be back!

This place was excellent. The steak quesadilla was flavor packed as was the peach nectar margarita. The staff were really friendly as well. The is a must-stop if you’re in the area.

I visited this place twice while on my mini vacation to the island! It was really good! I enjoyed all of the food I ordered on both days and the iced “Mexican Mocha” was very good! I’m taking away a star because some of the staff seemed questionable as if they didn’t want to help as far as customer service, but the food was good and I would return again based on that alone!

Love that this place has WIFI and indoor seating with outlets for power and USB. Minus one star for lack of organic options for healthy eating plus bring s little pricy.

Like a chipotle but better! I got a veggie bowl and it was very good, the fajita veggies were great, a lot of food for the price. They also have an expression bar, I got a coffee milkshake with Baileys in it and it was super yummy! A great fresh take on fast food.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Set up like Chipotle but the ingredients are so so fresh and delicious. We went back more than once. Has outdoor seating and cute t-shirts and merch inside. I love the design of the place. I had a Chicken burrito bowl with sour creme, cheese, lettuce and mango. The whole family loved it.

I visited Java Burrito with friends and wish I hadnt already had a coffee. The vibe at Java Burrito is modern/hip and definitely somewhere Id like to visit again if Im back in Hilton Head.My friend really loved their iced creme brulee latte. I cant vouch for the burritos, but the one I saw being assembled looked nice!

Got a chicken bowl & my spouse had a steak quesadilla, she got all her toppings on the side. They were all amazing! Their guacamole was delicious & they have tons of salsas & fruits to add. Their home made hot sauce was delicious as well. The place was clean, the staff was helpful & patient on our first visit. I had their Mexican mocha & it was delicious! Definitely going back every time we visit hilton head!!

The food is delicious but the staff could use a little training on good customer service. I went twice, only because the food tasted extraordinary the first(and second) time and both times I was greeted by questionable attitudes and body postures that the staff did not want to be there. The staff was borderline rude when asked requests that slightly inconvenienced. Portion sizes are minuscule for the price you pay so be prepared to ask for an extra scoop. The atmosphere minus the staff is great, great food. Moral of the story……get new help :D.

This place is awesome! You can make everyone happy. Kids want a burrito, done. Mom wants her fancy coffee drink, done. You can even get fine wine and gourmet ice cream. The food is all from local farms and you really can taste the difference. The place has a great vibe to it! We loved it!!!

Incredible. Was in Hilton Head for 5 days for our honeymoon. Came here 3 out of the 5 days for coffee/brunch/lunch. Creme Brûlée Iced Latte is heavenly, wife got the Mexican Mocha and loved it every time. Breakfast burritos are unreal. Better than Chipotle. Major props to my man Chase for helping us become regulars in only three trips.

Amazing place! The line was out the door for a reason and totally worth the wait. It has the style of a Chipotle or Moes Southwest Grill, but the quality and taste is far above those places. The prices are also much more reasonable, allowing you to get an excellent meal at a decent price. Ive only been once, but very impressed and will without a doubt be back soon.

We just went here this morning and we really enjoyed it! My husband got a breakfast burrito and I got the breakfast tacos with an iced Mexican mocha. My husband really enjoyed the pineapple salsa, and he said his burrito had great flavor. My tacos were really fresh and tasty, and the coffee was delicious! It was pretty pricey for a casual breakfast, but it was great quality and I love that you’re supporting local farms.

Super small portions of protein. Not the most ideal flavors for the price but it has the nice novelty of being a coffee place as well. Pleasant atmosphere however the flavors are not memorable.

Happy to be back at Java Burrito. The best coffee drinks and pleasantly surprised I could get Oatmilk or any other kind. So many choices for my brunch and custom to my liking. Friendly staff and delicious food.

This place is awesome. Basically think Chipotle style burrito/bowl creation, but that’s the only comparison there. The food is awesome - super fresh and flavorful with lots of interesting options to add and sauces. Additionally, the coffee is excellent, and you can get beans/grounds to go if you wanted. They have a decent sized indoor area as well as a covered patio and then an uncovered patio area too, for outside dining. Definitely one of the best burrito experiences I’ve had.

This is definitely an excellent place to grab a burrito or bowl. A notch above chipotle but same concept. Everything was fresh and great protein options. You can even get fried fish topping which was excellent. My daughter had a coffee drink and said it was OK. Would definitely go back.

This place is lit! Great tacos but greater Rita’s! Super glad Java’s was on our bike path, perfect for an after snack and drink!

The atmosphere is pretty awesome. The food was really good. The burrito can last all day if it is refrigerated. Took my son all day to finish it. Good flavor. Way better than most places. The issue we had was the price. $36 for two people. We understand and respect the you get what you pay for but that is a bit much. This will not be a regular stop but it will be a place we go when we can.

The food was good. It was very crowded. I like the fact that they had margaritas. My mom had some of their spicy sauce, beware!! It was really hot. It seems as though it got hotter once it hit her stomach. The staff did warn her. Aside from that it was enjoyable.

Sure, its an imitation of a well known fast food place (not sure who was first with the idea) but the food is better and worth the price. I also like the breakfast options. Definitely worth standing in line (I think thats what Hilton head is all about) for a lunch break.

We went for breakfast as the ratings were pretty good. It was okay. Id probably skip it in the future. The sandwiches were on brioche. I expected something different than a sliced bread sandwich. We got four sandwiches so had a variety to taste. The coffee was okay but not a wow. Overall it was decent food.

Quick friendly service. We never knew there could be so many choices in breakfast tacos lol. This ti.e we stumbled across the Apple muffin. This muffin was so delicious. We are visitors from FLORIDA and this is always one of our dining spot while in Hilton head. In the mornings it has a very quiet surrounding where you can hear the birds chirping outside.
