Took my car in for a turbo kit install.which I provided all the part that needed.In the beginning I got a few up sale calls which I told them I did not need but the calls stop.so these guy took upon themselves an didn’t call me (the customer) an replace my fuel line to my regulator which did not need replacing at that time.when I picked my car talking to the guy up front at the desk was trying to convince me that if it didn’t get replace it was going to mess with the tune which is incorrect.funny thing about this I was going to replace the same fuel line since I do the regular maintenance on my car,when I get my back so now what should I do with the parts that order to replace the line with.going over the car parts installation an one of the stud to the exhaust manifold is missing the washer and nut.the oil turbo feed line is almost touching the turbine housing that how a fire get started.it lucky thing I put a heat sleeve over the hose.but at least the hose should be centered.I also provided exhaust gasket for the down pipe to test pipe that they didn’t use.I end up having a exhaust leak.The breakdown of the bill charges are crazy just be ready to pay separate $139 for labor on any there mechanic touch.I understand that quote changes but $700.I dislike businesses that thing because someone bring they car in for upgrade or anything service done that the person don’t know anything about cars

My GT-R went in for new turbos and they found a few other underlying issues other shops missed. They were very easy to work with and amazing at communicating. Took my Evo 8 here to get an E85 tune and I cant recommend them enough! From start to finish it was nothing short of amazing. All of the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The tune that I received is VERY solid. Additionally, being able to watch my car on the dyno and see some of the shops cars in person was something Ive always wanted to do. Ill never forget it, thank you Boostin for the awesome experience. If anything else is needed Ill be back, but Ill be sending all the friends that I can your way in the meantime!

Took my GTR to boostin, got their stage 2 crate motor turbo upgrades and a fore innovations triple fuel pump and tune. Do not let them touch your wiring. absolutely terrible. my 40,000$ bill breaks down to 5,000$ spent on fueling. If i go on fore innovations website and buy the same fuel kit, it comes with a new harness and relays, boostin chose to use their own wires thin stranded and their own relays, which have given me nothing but problems. ive had 2 wires burn black on the 6 pin connector going to my fuel pump. Not sure why anyone would use thin stranded wire over solid core. Why charge someone 5,000$ for fueling and short them on wiring. try to get a hold of someone and youll be waiting for a call back for months. ill settle for the proper wiring kit and relays i can install them myself thanks.

What can I say but what a excellent crew of guys, very professional. I had 14 hour round trip to get my evo 9 flex fuel tuned. Prior to making the trip I had multiple questions and calls and every time it was a pleasure talking to these guys, they didn’t make it feel like I was bothering them. As far as how the tuning went and how the car drives it’s unbelievable! Car is used at the the strip and the street and it will dominate both now confidently. There’s no better experience then having and idol of yours tune your car. Thanks to all at boostin performance for making my experience great! Great Great people to work with made an appointment around a month ago for the 14th of April. A couple days before I get a call to confirm my appointment being the first time working with Boostin I had a ton of questions the guys where very knowledgeable and and answered every question. The day of the appointment I dropped of the car and got updates through out the day when I picked up the car I knew the tune was great the idle of the car was smooth nothing like before on the way home I was just amazed Devin and the boostin team where I will definitely be coming back to retune on e85 I definitely would recommend thanks guys!!

I recently replaced my totaled 14 Evo X GSR with a 12 that had a decent amount of work and parts put into it, all by Boostin. When I bought the car it was the previous owners summer weekend car and was tuned for E85. Well, its my daily driver, and even though E85 is pretty plentiful in my area I still wanted to be able to run regular pump gas if I had to.I was in contact with Boostin from the time I bought the car in order to verify some work and ask questions about the car (after the previous owner gave consent to release records, of course), so it made sense to go with them for the move to a full flex fuel setup/tune. Plus the guy tuning your car built/tuned/drives the worlds fastest DSM (my first car was a 90 Eclipse GSX, so Im partial), how cool is that?!I just had the work done last week and couldnt be happier with the results. Everyone I interacted with at Boostin was great, knowledgeable, and helpful. They diagnosed a leak coming from my transfer case but wasnt able to do the work since they didnt have the parts at the time. They provided me with a quote though, so I could check with a shop closer to where I live and setup an appointment with them. Well, after being told that I would have to schedule a drop-off and when I pressed about an ETA after I would drop the car off (its my DD, I cant be without it all that long) they never responded to my email. Needless to say, Ive got another appointment with Boostin in a couple of weeks to get the transfer case fixed up, and after that over to Schaumburg Mistubishi for an ACD pump replacement under warranty (thanks to Boostin for the referral to a dealer thats completely fine with warranty work on modified cars).10/10 The only place that will work on my car from now on.

I had my evolution 8 tuned by boostin performance a few days back and they did awesome work. They are super friendly people to work with everyone is level headed and respectful. Boostin performance also knows there way around mitsubishi’s like the back of their hand, i had my car there at 8:20 they had it checked over by 8:40. They are super good and an awesome crew wouldn’t bring my car anywhere else for tuning needs or engine work to be done.

Cant recommend them enough for their work on cars. Took great care of my 15 year old toy, and took the time to explain all of the work. Amazing shop, wish they had an East Coast satellite site!

Not the same as it used to be. Past two experiences at Boostin were horrible. First I dropped my GTR for an oil change and provided oil/filter. After driving home I noticed the provided oil was never used and still in box even though they claimed it was used.Later on, I got a transmission fluid change and provided fluids. 200 miles in after the fluid change, I blew my transmission at 28k miles. When we removed fluid it turned out they put 3 extra quarts which may have caused the worn parts to break very fast. When I called to complain about this, they simply started giving info on how I can spend 7k at trans to fix it.Just wanna say it’s not the same quality shop that it used to be and it cost me thousands to simply do an trans fluid change. Assuming new employees who aren’t trained well.

I ordered a set of angry aero front bumper shutters a week before my race and Kristin talked to me about the shipment and how they were trying to get them to me as fast as possible. Unfortunately they arrived a day late but with how covid has shipping these days I understood. It was cool that they wrote me a personal note though on the instructions! This is an extremely professional shop with a lot of great work out there. I had a previous tune on my Evo X from someone else and started having issues. Had my Evo X in there on Friday October 2nd to get tuned also they installed a grimmspeed 3 port boost control solenoid and spark plugs that they had in stock. About a month wait, but glad I waited. really happy how the car performs with Devins tune! Tam and Andrew up front were really cool and professional great customer service. Definitely will be returning when I’m ready for the turbo/ flex fuel upgrade in the future.

I scheduled an appointment for a dual map tune on my Evo 8. I live 5 hours away and had to drive in and stay while the work was being done. Because of the amount of work the whole crew came in at 6o’clock to get me going! Wow! I didn’t know customer service like this still existed. There were a couple of issues along the way, but they had excellent solutions on hand that were very reasonably priced. The level of knowledge and professionalism is unparalleled. I would defiantly check Boostin our if you are serious about having your car modified. I’m going to follow up with another review after I can take the Evo to the track! Pricey but well worth every penny. I came in back In January to get my car retuned and a fuel pump install. They pushed more power out of my Evo than I thought I’d make with my mods. I’ll be back in less than a week for more goodies to be thrown in along with a flex fuel tune. If you want the best, gotta go to the best!

This shop changed over the years. It’s more for profit and less customer service. Beware when scheduling a tune, they will tune regardless of issue and then they will tell you the problem after the tune. At the end they will charge you for the tune even if tune is not complete due to your issues. Too bad money over customer. Go somewhere else.

I have been working with the team over at Boostin for a little over a year now and they have exceeded my expectations every time. Whenever I have questions they respond quickly and are very detailed. They pretty much take your goals and create a path for you to get there and provide several different options depending on your budget. I recently had an intercooler, piping and exhaust installed on my R35 (with a flex fuel tune). When I got it back, the car ran flawless and Devins tune was spot on. After a day, I noticed that the exhaust had a bad rattle due to some rubbing issues between the mid pipe and one of the cross members. this issue is due to the exhaust design and has nothing to do with the work done by the Boostin techs. I called the shop and they were able to get me in the following morning. They put the car on a lift and solved the problem within about 30 minutes. Devin took me back and showed me exactly what they had done to correct the issue. This is the kind of customer service that keeps me coming back. If you are looking for an import shop in the Chicagoland area that will treat you right, give Boostin a call.

I’ve brought my Evo 8 there twice and they provide great customer support! I’ve ran into tow problem since I brought my car there (neither of them was their fault) and when I called and emailed them they were more then happy to help me figure out what was going on and helped me fix it!

The work speaks for itself. No complaints on the budget build I had done on my 2g eclipse. The car entered the shop hardly running on a junk engine and left pushing double the stock power on a small turbo and pump gas. No complaints from the boostin stage 3 lower that doesnt sweat the current power level. The tune is perfect, drivability feels exactly like it did when the car was completely stock, but pull much harder. Wont hesitate to come back for an e85 tune with some bigger and better mods!As for the help I recieved with the build-Andrew was very helpful as he provided useful information each step pf the way during the build process to complete it as effectively as possible within my budget. Great shop!!!

Best decision I made was to take my 1000+ hp GTR to Boostin to diagnose performance loss. Quick response to all my emails. Great guys, great customer service. They took care of my car that was having boost issues. Did it in a very timely manner and also flushed my drive train fluids all for a reasonable price.

Brought them a perfectly good vehicle that was well-maintained for a over a decade with one owner, but I ended up having to take the car back numerous times for problems that should have been addressed the first time the car was there. Workmanship was sub-par and I definitely felt they were nickel and diming me and the car still runs like garbage. Save your money and find somewhere else!

I ordered a ported evo 8 intake manifold. I sent my core and received a new one promptly. Upon inspection, I found that the oil ports were not cleaned whatsoever and the inside of the manifold had metal shavings throughout and was not cleaned properly or maybe barely at all. They offered to clean it at my shipping expense and also advised me on how to clean it myself. I appreciate the offer to clean it but it doesnt make up for my shipping expense, time, and the $300 paid for what should be a clean item to begin with, and at my risk of having send a thousand metal shavings into my fresh build. Additionally, Christian is pretty lacking over the phone: didnt seem to want to want me to ship it back to be cleaned, didnt offer to pay for return shipping, turns out he wasnt authorized to make the decision to begin with.Edit:I was offered a powder coated manifold as a free upgrade. Upon their advice to clean and reinstall myself, I had done so: tripling my original labor to remove again, ship again, and reinstall again isnt remotely worth my time. Andrew is nice but their offer didnt exactly make me rethink their lack of quality control and the risk I was put in. The review seems much more important than customer satisfaction.

Dropped my Evo X for installing some bolt ons and getting tuned for e85 with tephra mod v3 they had it done in a couple of days. Just picked up my car from boostin and couldnt possibly be happier, I had quiet a lot of work done by them and the attention to detail is out of this world, the car drove better than ever it feels like a whole new car, they really have things figured out over there 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

The Boostin team is so great to work with. They really know their stuff and the reason I go to them is because of their ability to build top notch cars. I bought my GTR a year ago and am still learning the platform, coming from many years of being a Honda/Lexus owner. As any GTR owner knows, building the car up has great value. I visited Boostin the first time last summer in 2018 to get my Armytrix titanium exhaust installed, and it went extremely well. I was hooked after that. Immediately after, being new to this platform, I asked the Boostin team what they could recommend for my goals of building my car up to compete on the track. Their recommendations the last 9 months have lead to me now running Cobb AP, full bolt ons with Alpha internals, as well as a solid E85 tune. My GTR is a completely different machine, and then tune has created a vehicle that is fast, mean sounding, and such a fun car to drive. I am now putting down close to 600awhp to the wheels. What a huge difference, and these guys pay special attention to details and make me feel so welcomed. The Boostin team is awesome and I cant wait to see what else they can build into my GTR.
