I was referred here by a friend, and I can honestly say that this place was God sent. I didn’t have much credit but Jonathan was able to get me approved and into my vehicle. He’s a great sales rep. Straightforward and honest! A few months later I went and purchased my second vehicle. This place is great and everyone there is very professional. I had the great fortune to drive past CAR FOR YOU in on 2451 Pembroke Road in Hollywood last week. Jonathan, the Sales Director, and Winston were so accommodating and helpful. Within a short time we found the car we wanted and with no pressure, ( like in the big car dealers), just a big sense of relief having found the right vehicle. It all was perfect, The size, style, color, price and mileage made it easy to return the next day, do paper work and drive home. I never write these reviews, but this used car business practices are so unethical that I had to speak up. Car For You LLC in Hollywood, FL, falsely advertises its prices on TrueCar.com. The initial advertised price online was $8991, but the price jumped by $3,000 when I called the dealership about purchasing the vehicle. I was told that the price did not include the down payment but that the price advertised was the remaining balance after a down payment. I had to explain to the used car salesman that it is not a different price if you make a down payment. The consumer is still paying the agree upon cost. He stated, It is our advertising practice and it is not illegal. If the first act in a business relationship or transaction is a lie, it is fair to assume the entire relationship is BS. The standard for advertising at Car For You LLC is not transparency, honesty, and respecting customers; it is how can I mislead you to buy a used car. The standard is so what; its legal. I posted pictures of the advertised amount to prove the price being advertised.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!! So I came to look at a car. The car seemed fine, and the owner assured me he has driven the car plenty of times and there’s nothing wrong with it. I asked if I could take it to get a prepurchase inspection and he said that’s fine because he’s confident the car is great. I took it not even 9 mins down the road and it started smoking as soon as I got to the mechanic. Instantly before they even put the car up, they knew something was wrong. The car had electrical damage and had a major oil leak which was running through the car. The mechanic said this car was an extreme hazard and shouldn’t be driven. Once he continued his inspection, the computer read back lists and lists of defects from brakes to engine. Terrible!! Once I returned with the car and told them about the defects and that they should not sell that car and they weren’t even surprised, they just said ok have a great day. Then, the next morning they sent me a text message (probably not knowing it was me since I had inquired on cars.com) saying the car is available and wanted to know if I wanted to come in to purchase the car!!!Just make sure that if you even think about getting a car from them that you take it to a mechanic (not one they would recommend) to get it checked out!!

Misleading prices, the prices online are 2k lower than the actual price you pay. Thats bad business, dont buy from here.

False advertising. The price they list is the financed amount. If buying cash they mark the price up $2k

I went to Car for you Hollywood on 10/10/2020. I spoke with Jonathan and showed him the car I wanted which was a 2016 Lexus ES 350 and drove it home that same night. Jonathan very professional and also the staff as well. They made it happen sufficiently and quickly. I can’t thank him and the staff enough. I already recommended to friends and family to go. I purchased my 2nd vehicle from this dealer and i have to say that i am so happy that i went back. i see a lot of people here complaining about the after $2k but thats just the down payment that you would pay at any other dealer. i happen to find the cars at a very low price compared to other places i went to. i appreciate the honesty too because theres a lot of other dealers out there that wont even tell you about the down payment and when you get there you wont even know that you needed any money for you to buy the vehicle. they also give you many options as to how you can pay for it. i like straightforwardness and direct responses when i ask questions about a car and tbh i cannot complain. i have always dealt with jonathan and hes been very helpful to me. these people are serious about their business and very honest. thank you so much i will be coming back to you in the near future for my sons car :)

We drove 4.5 hours to look at a 2010 Mustang that was LISTED FOR $8,991 on BOTH THEIR PERSONAL WEBSITE AND CARFAX WEBSITE. But they are FALSE ADVERTISING!! WHEN YOU GO TO ACTUALLY PURCHASE CAR FOR THE ASKING PRICE WITH CASH THEY RAISE THE PRICE TO $11,000.00 (SUBJECT TO CHANGE ACCORDING TO THE MEXICAN I TALKED TOO) BUT YET ITS STILL ADVERTISED AT $8,991.00!! I WAS WILLING TO PAY ADVERTISED PRICE WITH CASH AND WAS DENIED!!! They advertise at that price to get you there and then change it on you!!!

Horrible attitude of the sales person. Price increased by $2K in 24hrs. Car was not in great condition. Pictures online were not accurate depictions. Was told that it was a mistake on True Car. Another vehicle on the lot was marked as 2019, but was a 2016. Lots of mistakes with poor customer service. Highly UNRECOMMENDED!

Great place to buy a used car. Jonathan works hard to get you a decent deal. I recommend it.

Great used car dealer ship I’ve read a few bad reviews but from my experience it’s a great dealer ship I bought my wife’s Porsche there than I bought a Mazda 2018 and now a 2018 bmw 335i and it’s a great place to buy any used cars they filled up my tank and first oil change on the dealer ship

DEFINITELY dont recommend coming here. First, the price on the website is not the actual price. Theyll add $2000 plus additional fees. Total scam especially since the car I wanted wasnt worth AT ALL what they told me in person. I brought the car to an independent mechanic and was told and shown the horrible rust the car had which couldve lead to safety issues. The salesperson I spoke to had a terrible attitude as well. They also scammed me out of $1000. Dont waste your time.

I cannot recommend this place. Jonathan was who I worked with, and he was great. But they advertise falsely on TrueCar.com, which is kind of funny that a website called TrueCar allows this type of falsified prices. I was looking at a car that was advertised for about $11K, which was a great price. Nowhere on TrueCar does it mention that this price is after you pay $2000.00. When I called, the guy I spoke with (not Jonathan) said something in broken English about $2000.00 down, but I thought he meant they require the first $2K to be in cash. I actually took a test drive, only to find out afterward about the additional $2K. Since this was out of my budget, it was very disappointing to have wasted an hour of my time and, of course, their time. If you shop here, just confirm the price ahead of time. Otherwise, the car they had advertised was there. It was the one they were advertising, and they did want to clean up the couple of small items I found during the test drive. I hope they restructure their marketing strategy to be more honest.

HAD ME DRIVE 30 MINUTES JUST FOR SOMEONE AT THE DEALERSHIP TO TELL ME HE ACTUALLY ALREADY SOLD THE CAR AND WAS DELIVERING IT. TOLD ME ABOUT ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT WAS PRICED 2991 ONLINE BUT HAS DEALERSHIP FEES WHICH COULD NOT BE EXPLAINED OF $1509 WHEN ASKED WHY IT WAS SO HIGH THE RESPONSE WAS THATs just our fees. CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE PRICES ARE NOT ACCURATE! I WALKED OUT THAT PLACE WASTE IF TIME!

Just called them for a price of a Ford Focus That was 4991 dollar and they told me it’s 2000 dollar down payment so it will be around 6k my girl call them an hour before they told her 13K lol those people are scammer and things they smart they only interested in down payment on a 2014 year car what a joke place !!!!!!!!

This place is horrible

Horrible experience. They advertised a price for a BMW 328i for $2991 and the price went up to $4300 with additional fees. The owner came up with a list of reasons why he hiked the price. I walked out and will never return. Stay away! I doubt they will be here next week.
