The employees here have repulsive attitudes, no one asks if you need any help even tho there is 10 employees on the floor watching your every move, it’s disturbing and creepy. Find a new job if you hate yours so much you can’t even put your emotions away while your working.
Love Sephora, of course, but stock is out on many items right now. However, they do have (sanitary) testers on everything, so you can see if you like the product, and they will ship it directly to your home fast ( 2-3 days). Everyone who works there is very helpful and knowledgeable as well, which makes it worth going in store as opposed to shopping online if youre not sure about a shade, etc.
Another store that I love 💘, today I couldnt buy anything because I forgot my list of products and you know without a list you would get the wrong ones . For mi skin is everything.
I went to the Sephora and some of the workers were being unprofessional talking about a lot of customers… body shaming women smh never again.. the others were so sweet
Love the staff here so helpful and the products are just the best.
I love perfume and though they are pricey like Macys they do have a better selection!
I like going here because they have all the brands one would look for.
The customer service was ok . Not the best but not bad we had to wait for help and the store was not crowded the sales lady was somewhat knowledgeable on the products we wanted
Big selection! Kinda pricey!
I had a blast going in. The staff makes sure theres the correct amount of people inside the store and they have the customers line up if its too full. So that is a GOOD thing .All the staff are very helpful, but there was one staff member (tall male with gray hair) in particular that seemed to want to have the customers shop fast and go. I wasnt impressed with that.It was my first time ever being able to shop there so it was a lot for me. I just wanted to browse and get the most with my gift card which was hard too. Lol.Lots of good products out of stock quickly but still really good stuff there.Overall, I had fun but Im not ecstatic about what I purchased due to the pressure. If your an anti social anxiety ridden person having 5 people in every direction talking to you it just throws you off.And yes I do understand today (the day after Christmas) was going to be busy but fhe staff members just seemed to want you to get something and leave to keep the flow moving. The way it was handled just wasnt done nicely or respectfully Id say.Thank you tho!
I had to drop my items and leave the store just because of how aggravated I was getting. I was approached by the same woman 5 times after I told her I didn’t need help the first time. I understand that it’s a great thing to help people, but I was just trying to look around and couldn’t even do that. When someone says they don’t need any help, it’s also great to listen.
I have been a Sephora customer since I was a teenager and now I am in my thirties. I was provided with good service here last week, but today left me questioning my purchase. I had to return an item that I had a reaction to and am / was allergic to an ingredient in the product( I was told by a store clerk that I could return it if I had a reaction). I explained to the cashier helping me ( young woman) that I was returning it due to a reaction from the sample that was put on my arm ( found a rash when I got home) and that the box was unopened, and unused. This woman acted like it was such a big deal that I was returning this product ( came off as cold and didn’t communicate) and then she rolled her eyes, opened up the box and examined the item like she was looking for something. I have always thought of Sephora as a customer friendly store, but this service today left me a little unsettled. I did walk out with an online purchase of a tinted moisturizer that I am not allergic to ( the store didn’t have my color). After today’s experience I will be shopping online or at the Ultra across the street. I had wonderful customer service experience at Ultra few weeks ago!
Every time I come into this Sephora the workers look at me as if I’m about to steal everything I grab, I didn’t get greeted, and on top of it I walked to the skin care and the girl working back there was texting. Besides them having the actual product in stock, this experience sucked.
Everyone was so nice and helpful. Recommend highly. Love their policy of free samples; Im sure it has brought them many repeat customers!
Went for a foundation. The last time I went for one they had a gadget that they placed on 3 different places on your face and neck. This time they didnt. I will have to see how it looks on... maybe better having an actual human decide what matches best!
I had the most amazing experience yesterday. I believe the womans name was Krista. I have no clue about makeup but had very specific needs and I had a bit of anxiety around it all. She was not only patient but listened to me and guided me to exactly what I wanted. If I go back Ill seek her out for sure. Super sweet, patient and knowledgeable.
Really nice inside. Employees are very helpful. Shelves nicely arranged easy to find exactly what you are looking for.
I came in with specific concerns but wasn’t sure which products would work best and left with everything I needed! Christian helped me and he was amazing!!!!!
Amazing customer service and help at the register
Julez was AWESOME and helped me find the right product and brought out the nice samples! Finally was able to use my pts too! Thanks Julez!
Never had an issue at the store, and the make up appointment I had went great. My makeup artist did a great job and it lasted all day!
Sometimes I walk in and am treated great when I browse or ask for help. They are not shy to color match or give me amazing advise and whatnot. And sometimes I walk in and I am treated like a scummy criminal? Mixed feelings. It does not have to do with my face being made up or not. Sometimes they come up and ask if I need help, and its nice. Sometimes they repeatedly come up to me as if they are keeping me in line and letting me know they are watching. And sometimes they dont come up at all, and seem inconvenienced or annoyed when I do ask for assistance. I enjoy the times when I am given great service, but sometimes I walk out feeling like garbage and it runs my whole day. Like do I really look like the type of person where you have to keep watching me?
Every time Ive come in all of the employees have been super helpful and I love how you can test for your foundation match
This was my first experience in this store and I expected bad customer service because of all the bad ratings. It was actually really nice and one nice lady helped find my skin color for foundation. When I was looking some more around the store I was asked numerous times by different people if I needed help. If you have doubts because of this places ratings I recommend you come and see for yourself anyways (I went on a Thursday which is today for me).
Every time I go here I spend a lot of money but I feel like Im getting followed and everyone watches me like Im going to steal!! My boyfriend loves going in there but now hates it because he gets stalked by 9 people that work there all at once acting like hes a thief or something. Im really starting to hate going to this store. The only shop online!!
They hound and hawk you while your tryin to browse and look around like if your tryin to steal really poor attitude towards customers
My wife and i went to this location today and the two older women who work there made sure they finished their conversation before they even acknowledged us! When they finally did not even a hi, how are you? They were so rude and unprofessional! Never again they were not helpful!
Went here with my niece today for her first time and try to make it good time, but one employee kept following us like we’re about to steal stuff when I was helping my niece not feel overwhelmed.
The staff at this location is so stuck up and rude. Not just the young ones either, the older ladies are just as horrible. It’s not even fun to go there anymore :( You’ve lost your way, Sephora
I’m a big sephora fan, but the last time i visited i felt like i was under a microscope. every single employee was watching my mom and i like they expected us to steal. i was just browsing with the intention of purchasing concealer, (which i felt awkward even asking about because of the way i was being watched, if felt like an excuse). i quickly purchased my items and left. overall an extremely disappointing experience. i would appreciate feeling like a valued customer and not a felon next time i walk in.
Got exactly what we needed and my girl was very happy.
A month or so ago I had went to Sephora to pick up a new foundation and concealer, after I did I continued shopping. When my boyfriend and I went to go to the car I had realized I didn’t have my Sephora bag with. I panicked thinking I must’ve left it at one of the other stores we went to. After going to each store and with no luck in finding it I returned to Sephora to ask that if someone returned it to their store if they would call me. They were so kind about it and took down my information. Feeling like I wouldn’t end up finding I decided to just repurchase the items. Just recently I received a call from who I assume was the manager and she explained they wanted to send me the products lost but because I had repurchased them would send me a gift card for the amount of the items lost. I’m speechless with how kind this gesture was!
Very busy, but workers are nice
First time and like it! Top level fragrances for men and ladies.
I adore the Sephora brand and really like their products. BUT, the staff at this Holyoke, MA location is terrible! This has been ongoing for years. Whomever is hiring people is doing an awful job. Everytime I go there I see staff standing around talking with one another and not helping paying customers. I literally have to walk around the store 4 times before I ever get help. When I politely ask for help they always seem to have an attitude. I dread going into this location and avoid it unless its imperative. I highly recommend ordering online. F- customer service.
So one of the woman maybe, I’m assuming a manager, kept eyeing me down following me around the store, as well as the security guard. My first time in the store he very clearly followed me around and watched me every step but did not do so for other people. Once I had my friends and brought them in he stopped following me and then watched me walk around the store. My friends even pointed it out that he was watching me from across the store. I in no way raised red flags and only came in to find a shade in my concealer and ended up leaving feeling attacked and uncomfortable. It was very clear they did not do this to others.
I was very excited to shop at Sephora only because I haven’t done it in awhile. Finally had some money to spend on me. I go in the store and immediately I have someone in back of my shoulders asking if I need help, I said no not now I’m just browsing she sends the other person to ask if I need help at this point I felt like I’m being watch just cuz of my race I wanted to shop in peace the lady calls someone on her walkie some other lady comes out and asked if I need help at this point I’m upset I said no thank you I’m good and just left the store never in my life I felt more out of place you ruin my whole outlook on Sephora. Mac it is
Semara helped my little sister out with a full face makeover as well as helpful tips with applying. She was very knowledgeable and a great help!
Horrible customer service! For the lazy ones gossiping all day.do u your job! .Keep in mind customer service makes a great impact for a business to continue striving. Keep in mind customers are the ones helping you Get Paid! Exercise your customer service. Customers expect exeptional service when attending a retail store.. Dont assume or stereotype. Horrible!!
The staff is very stuck up and it is very off putting. The manager thinks shes in New York city running the best Sephora, but shes not.
I love makeup
Ive been to a few different Sephora stores and this one was by far the worse Ive been in. no greeting you when you walk in the store, the staff will look at you then look the other way (not even a ill be with you shortly ) their was one staff member talking to another JCPENNY staff member in the hallway while I was standing there waiting to be helped. I literally had to go up to her and ask for help. Step your game up ladies, then they ask for a good review on there site with names and all lol noooo mam not from me!
I walked in and there were three associates standing with the manager, being trained on new products and I really loved seeing how attentive all three of them were because it shows that they really cared to learn and that totally reinforces my trust in the knowledge that Sephora employees have! Anyway, the second I walked in, Kate approached me and asked if I needed help. I knew that I wanted KVD concealer and I had already located it, but I didnt know my exact shade so I was totally just going to test them all, but Kate asked if I knew my foundation color, so I told her it was 44 light and she used this little computer thing to reverse match me and it was PERFECT! I didnt even have to try a bunch of them and look like a mess before I hit the gym! So I just tried the one she recommended and it was exactly what I needed to help cover the stupid half healed straightener burn on my neck. On top of that, she totally helped me apply a layer and covered my problem FOR me because I was in gym clothes on my way to LA Fitness!! She was AMAZING!! On TOP of that, she matched a promo for me from the KVD site because the store had just stopped that same promotion a couple days ago and I was so ridiculously thrilled. She was kind, courteous, and super AMAZING the whole time, from entrance to exit!! Oh, and I just moved here last week and she was totally giving me advice on the upcoming winter and stuff to do in the area!! I could have CRIED, she was so great! She also gave me a sample of an eye mask when I checked out because I have bags for daaaaays! Thanks so much Kate!!! I seriously couldnt have asked for better customer service.
Great selection of fragrances for men
Very helpful staff
Rude staff. Followed me and my friends around like we were trying to steal! Then we went back there an hour or so later to meet up with one of our other friends who was purchasing something and the staff questioned us! Saying you guys were just here why are you back? Uhh because its a free country and were meeting Jade here like honestly wth get a better staff.Very unwelcoming and horrible to shop here. Id rather drive to CT that go to this poop hole
Great products and good customer service!
I have visited this location multiple times since around mid-December, and I have had experiences ranging from very poor to excellent. Today I went back and had my second positive experience that pretty-much offset any bad ones I may have had during the holiday season.Originally I went in to find a few products to use in making a New England Patriots-inspired eye look for the Super Bowl, as well as return a product which malfunctioned in the sprayer. I managed to find what I was looking for on my own and Im very satisfied with the products. Not two minutes into browsing, I was met with an employee asking me if I needed help and I explained to her that I had something to return, but was wondering if I should return my product first and then shop, or do it all at once. She said itd be fine if I did it all at once at checkout, and I really appreciated how friendly and kind she was!A few minutes later, I was having a peek at foundations and yet another attentive employee, Anthony, asked me how I was doing and if he could help me with anything. I explained to him that I am a chef who travels long-distance frequently and I was unhappy with the foundation I am currently using, that I was recommended a product by a friend of mine, and asked if he knew of anything that would work under hot work conditions. He did make a lovely suggestion, and then recommended I wait to speak with an artist.I wish I had taken her name, she was ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. The first thing I noticed was her own makeup, which was absolutely perfect, and her demeanor and willingness to not just answer questions, but demonstrate, was wonderful. She clearly was very well-trained on product knowledge, she knew my exact shade and matched me to a foundation that felt wonderful and looked like it wasnt even there! Ive tried it since Ive taken it home and I already love it. She was so kind as to even point out where I could find an extra beauty-blender on the way out. I also work freelance as a traditional and digital illustrator, so her knowledge of exactly what tools I needed to get the desired effect was so very, very appreciated because I know how much work and effort it takes to achieve a desired effect. Its hard to find good help these days and Im KICKING myself for not getting her name!!!Even checkout was a nice experience. I had been unaware where the line started, but the employee who told me it started in the middle of the end-caps was polite and nice. There were no problems with returns, and everyone was so sweet and very conversational! (Im glad you liked my soda-can shaped bag you guys, I wish I could buy one for each of you because you were so fabulous and easy to deal with!)I really wish I had gotten everyones names (had to be somewhere in under an hour so I was rushed, but didnt feel that way while I was there!!! Again, THANK YOU TO THE STAFF!!!) and hadnt been so pressed for time. You all deserve an applause.Personally speaking, I have both vitiligo and body dysmorphia. Having these issues makes it difficult to shop for beauty products...but when you experience approachability, good customer service, and great product knowledge, it is such an amazing thing. The only reason I am not giving a full five-star rating is because there were a few times I went in during the holiday season and the employees were probably just so stretched thin that they couldnt help me find what I was looking for, and I cannot say that every time Ive come in has been perfect, but todays experience was WONDERFUL.THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME FEEL BEAUTIFUL! Please keep it up!-R.J.
Is the great store
I like this store, but sometimes the employees seem rude. I usually find what I am looking for. Sometimes this store isnt as stocked as others though.
I went there for undereye cream and concealer. She was very helpfull but now i have a eye infection.in one of my eyes bc they didnt properly sanitize there hands or makeup brushes. So now i gotta walk around will a read a swollen right eye for who knows how long!!!! Will be calling the manager to report what happend. Im not mad but they need to clean there hands n brushes after every customer
I always spend too much money hereeeee
Short staffed. Had to wait a few minutes for help.
Very expensive, very few of the products are worth what they charge.
If youre looking for lack of service and an attitude look no further than Sephora Holyoke Mall - first and last trip there
Best makeup ever.
The staff are very unpleasant I avoid coming to this Sephora as much as possible!
Overpriced but worth the products
Love it
FENTY! FENTY! FENTY! ❤
If you go to the Holyoke mall near Target ask for Sheila. He is bilingual and super friendly. 💛
Very well
Excellent
