We found this place via Google and it did not disappoint AT ALL. The clothing is genuine Nigerian clothing, and very well-made and eye-catching yet appropriately priced. The owner is the one who works selling at the store, and he is extremely friendly and understanding. Do not be fooled by the stores facade; highly recommended. Bought two authentic Ankara, and could not be more pleased.

Location was interesting and shop is small, but organized. The owner was very. Pleasent and helpful. He had exactly what I was looking for at a great price. As a results, I purchased several garments and a few things for my Mr. Will shop again. No pictures of items allowed.

This is where I usually get my African clothing from. The owner is patient and helpful never pushy. Theres an excellent choice in men and women clothing and accessories as well. As for the man, try not to go there looking for anything in particular as the clothes usually run small. Meaning I wear a 2X shirt and there were a lot of largest and 1X shirts in the colors that I was looking for. But when I go there just to find another shirt to add to my collection I have no problem I did not find the shirt I was looking for however I bought one anyway because I did like it

The store is off the beaten path, but easily found. The other reviews were spot on. Nice helpful staff. They even helped me and my husband find matching outfits, which was really unexpected. I finally found my one stop shop for African garments and I was more than satisfied. Dont listen to people saying they are pricey because every thing is hand made. He immediately took me to the least expensive dishiki apparel. I fell in love with everything and every price he gave me on what I asked looked well worth the price. They are not pricey. Im just happy I finally found real African hand made apparel and the customer service is really amazing/genuine.

Visited Houston on vacation from Columbus, OH and needed to find African attire for a wedding. I was very pleased with the beautiful selection of dresses and skirts, but most of all.....my purchases! The skirt and top I picked out for the wedding was unique and set me apart from everyone else!

Amazing store, so expansive with AUTHENTIC IMPORTED African items from all over the continent, though Id say most are of Nigerian origin.Exceedingly generous and knowledgeable staff- I was given an an additional item no charge because they wanted to make the most out of my grandmothers birthday. The owner is as authentic and African-born as they come, and you never question otherwise. His daughter is a great help and aims to give you best experience possible.If you feel your African identity has been lost, you will find it here. And the people there will guide you toward it.

I love this store. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall but on the inside it packs a punch with authentic clothing and hats for men, women and children. I went for the fabric and boy did I find heaven. A good selection of 6 yard cuts for $35.00 to $40.00 of authentic waxed cotten in traditional prints in an array of colors. I wanted more but had a budget. Grace and Sam are the best.

They are wonderful nice and friendly, and they make you feel very comfortable. I cant say enough good things about my experience. The pricing was also fair. I compared to what I have seen online and on Etsy for Ankara fabric they are half the price. This will be my go to spot for any of my events. They have some of the latest styles, headwraps, fabrics, colors, sizes, children clothing, shoes bracelets and jewelery.
