I got a coupon in the mail for a synthetic oil change for $29.97, so I decided to give them a try and brought my Toyota Tacoma for an oil change that I needed to do anyway. I made an appointment and I told them about the coupon and they said they would honor it, but they told me that since it is a truck it would be closer to $40 which I said would be totally fine. I took it in and it took about 30-40 minutes, which it totally acceptable. The check engine light was on and they said it was an O2 sensor. They also recommended a battery replacement, which I knew about already because my current one is about 6 years old at least. I paid $37 with the coupon for the oil change which is about half of what I normally pay. The service recommendations were not pushed on me, just suggested, which I really liked. Great service and great price. On top of that a friendly and professional staff. Im a customer for life now. Highly recommended!

Great professional service! Ive been to the car dealership no less than three times for same AC repair. They could never cool it. Viking Automotive took care it perfectly!..and with a fair price. Thats the first time my cars cooled the way it should since I bought it 8 yrs ago. The staffs great, they were friendly and very professional and, the waiting area and bathroom are nicer than the car dealership....seriously. I had a great experience there. Top notch business!👍👍

I really appreciate the fact that the staff at Viking always keeps you informed of what work is being done and what it will cost. There are no surprises. My anti-lock brakes stopped working and they immediately pin pointed the problem and fixed it.

Drove by on my way home from work popped in for the oil change, they drove me home and called me right away when they had the car on the lift, went over everything they found on inspection, performed oil change and the price was phenomenal!! I have a 2014 Infiniti QX70 that at 107,000 miles had the #6 cylinder go bad and the motor had to be replaced. Dealer was not an option. Too much $$$$$. I work across for Viking Automotive and have had several other co-workers used them and have had a great experience with this shop! So, I thought I would take it to them. I am glad I did. The whole experience was pleasant and they were great. Gave me a good price and great service!! I would not worry about taking any vehicle to them. I work right down the street and was in need of an oil change so a coworker dropped my Ram 1500 off for me. A couple of hours later they called to let me know it was ready, when i arrived to pick it up i was extremely surprised at the cost. It was 50% less than what the dealer charges and they didn’t try and upsell me on any additional services that i don’t even need like many other places do. They are professional, courteous, honest, and their prices are great. I’ll be bringing my truck back in the future.

The only place Id trust taking a Saab to in Texas. I used to live in Houston, but have since moved to San Antonio. I still make the drive to Houston every time my car needs some work done, as this place is the place to go. John and Donald will always take care of you, and make sure you get the right work the first time. Have had plenty done to my Saab here and not a single complaint. If you drive a Saab, and you arent going here, youre doing it wrong!

Great place for Saab repair.

I have been bringing my Volvo here for 3 years and always received excellent and fair treatment. Recently I replaced my Volvo with a Saab SUV which I purchased from Viking. About 4 weeks after I took possession I had an issue with a coolant leak, so I took it in. Turned out the culprit was the water pump and it needed to be replaced.I fully expected to have to pay for the repair, but Jonathan took 50% of the total cost. I felt this was EXTREMELY generous. This reinforces the honesty and professionalism of this company. I have recommended Viking in the past and obviously, will continue to recommend them in the future.

Brought car in with 2 problems. Short version - poor communication, 3 days no car, cost $650, told we forgot to overnight parts for repair, STILL HAVE same problems.Long version - After 6 hours of no communication I called to check on their diagnosis. They relayed the repair needed and gave an estimate on the 2 repairs. I call back in another 2 days to make sure I can pick up the car when they open the next morning and am told One repair is done, BUT it seems we forgot to overnight the other parts for repair, Im sorry. Its been 3 days, I need my car back and can schedule the one repair later so I pick the car up when they open the next day. After I pick up the car and get about 3 miles way, the problem is still there! I go back and they diagnose a new problem. So either they misdiagnosed it or the service writer was too busy to relay correct information from the technician to me. As for the second problem (they literally had a big red flashing sign in the dash telling them what was wrong) they forgot to mail the parts off to be repaired. So no car for 3 days and problems not fixed and Im out $650. I would say their labor and part prices are 30% high.

FINALLY found someone able to communicate with my SAAB 900 airbag control module. Drove all the way from Austin to get it taken care of. They were prompt, courteous, and was priced fairly. Facility was clean and easy to find. Defiantly recommended!

We needed someone to quickly to reset airbag light on dash after a failed attempt at installing a navigation system. I called Viking automotive first thing on Saturday morning, because they were the only place open, and they said to bring it right in. Got it in. Got it fixed. Didnt try to gouge us on price. Very knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and priced right. Couldnt ask for a better place to bring our sons 2004 Volvo XC90!

John and Viking automotive are very professional. I took my 9-3 in to get serviced after my check engine light came on . In less than an hour Viking had the problems figured out and was able to explain in full along with pictures . Price is about what I expected to pay for quality service on a foreign car. Very clean and relaxing waiting area especially for a service shop.

They are the most caring, pro-active, and completely honest auto shop Ive been to. We now take all of our family and work vehicles here. The best automotive repair shop around ... for all makes and models of cars. Very experienced with Saabs - dealer knowledge without dealer prices. Ive recommended Viking to other people and all have had outstanding service. Look no further if you want good and honest repair work done on you car. I would never take my car anywhere else.

The more Ive dealt with this car shop, the more it feels like theyre taking advantage of customers with poor service. Bad wiring in front headlights keep getting fixed and then have to be refixed again in the future. Another time they claimed there were problems with a wheel bearing, but when I insisted they show me they couldnt replicate anything they claimed. And finally, they screwed up fixing the coolant tank. When my wife took the car there, they said theyd have somebody available to take her home only to then abandon her at an empty facility. Its become unacceptable.

Very professional and speedy service. However, distance might be an issue if youd like to leave your vehicle behind. It is tucked away somewhere you must have someone to come pick you up.

Ive owned my 2006 SAAB 95 since new. Viking is by far the best shop that I have ever taken my SAAB to. I was sold after my first experience - I was seeking a second opinion on something that a GM dealer had diagnosed. The diagnosis called for a new computer module and parts and labor were going to be circa $2,000.00. Viking took it in and fixed the issue with the change of a tail-light bulb for something like $20.00. Next was my horn issue (a lingering issue since it was new). The car had been into GM for service and they had spent lots of money (under warranty) trying to fix it. The issue persisted (the horn only worked when it felt like it). It took a number of attempts to diagnose the issue, but Viking persisted and diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts and I have had no issues for the past 2 years. I cant say enough - theyre competent and honest and they really care about their customers.
