Ferguson on Richmond is my favorite place to select plumbing, hardware, lighting and appliances. Great convenience of a one stop shop! Love the new showroom design! Many great things to choose from! Great service from beginning to finish with them. Very knowledgeable sales reps, that are very responsive with communication. Love that they are dependable and take care of their customers.
My home appliances are immaculate. Out of the three homes I’ve owned and personalized, the people at Ferguson stood out the most. The staff, the sales personnel, everyone was just extremely generous and honest. Just a great experience overall. I couldn’t be happier with my new home! Thank you to all the good people at Ferguson!
Josue took great care of us. He helped us with new fixtures for our bathroom renovation! Nice experience!Update: Our bathroom project is now eight weeks behind. It was supposed to start the first week in August. No one at Ferguson could find our order that we where so excited about. Three weeks and dozens of phone calls and our contractor making a few extra trips to their store delayed our job. We are out of town, so that the project could be done without our presence and for dust convenience. It has cost us $3, 774.18 for car rental, while we have waited for Ferguson to figure out our order. Josue NEVER returned our calls. I wont know until next week if we have what we had actually selected. We are worried, because now there is no shower head or toilet. It was all in stock when Josue took our order, so how long before they arrive now? FergusonREALLY dropped the ball.. These items had all been in stock!! We are very angry and do not recommend the run around that we have now experienced.
They have everything you can imagine and more. It’s the best one stop shop for everything you need for your home remodel. Customer service was awesome and very knowledgeable, it made for a easy and fun experience!
Great selection of all materials Fossetts bath designs kitchen and lighting with tons of features and options and selections to go through. You can spend a lot of time here deciding and actually touching a lot of the items to get a feel for what’s available out there. All different types of finishes and plenty of wonderful help to go around. Brittany was an amazing consultant that had a lot of patience with us as homeowners going through the options. #yourTEXASrealtor
Love the products but no customer service, need an appointment to get prices on merchandise.
Best staff ever!! Everyone from the front desk to staff on the floor to installers are amazing! Just had a dishwasher installed and they had excellent customer service! Shopping here again
This is the best showroom to find appliances, plumbing fixtures, and lights. Great selection and knowledgeable staff.
Love working with this team of professionals! They work diligently to ensure their service is top quality and exceeds expectations!
As an Interior Designer, this is my go to place for all things to do with plumbing, appliances and lighting. The showroom is a wealth of inspiration and service is great. It’s always busy and appointments are advisable if you need help. Love the fact that they will ship directly to my job sites or deliver from other locations when Im working out of town.
Terrible experience. I was next in line to be waited on. The salesman heard the couple wanted a cast iron tub. They had 4 on display he could show them. I will never go back and to think I used them when I remodeled.
Came in for help with a kitchen remodel. I didn’t know anything but was helped immediately. Would recommend
Seems there’s a repeating pattern of reviews in regards to rude and unhelpful staff at this place. My husband and I only had one day to accomplish 10 different decisions together on a major house renovation because he works out of town M-F. So we had to go multiple places before we decided to try Ferguson.I would never walk in to a place knowing that they are about to close and waste someone’s time. I didn’t realize that we were coming in 10 minutes before closing until the lady at front desk made it clear that I didn’t have time to look past 5pm.I do not know how the staff are paid here, but for their sake, I hope it’s not on commission when I’m about to drop 20k on light fixtures alone. But I guess instead of asking if we needed help or offer to schedule an appointment, a lady promptly told us they are closed, which I got the hint to get out.I’m assuming their high end clientele is good enough to keep this store open. Optics are everything, and so is kindness. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
I believe This is our 5th project working with Ferguson at Richmond and it came really nice with the perfect touch. Our salesman is very helpful and nice to work with, I know we have some little issues with plumbing parts, but they solve the problem really quick, Wich help us not to worry about it. And we can keep working on wath we do best.Flooring express and full remodeling llp team, wants to thank you for pulling our orders together and on time. Thanks.
Good selection and professional advisors make the process painless and quick. Be sure to ask to look at the not on showroom selections. There are many items not on the showroom.
Although there were multiple representatives sitting around, not one was available to answer my questions. I walked around for 20 minutes and decided to leave.
I’ve been trying to put an order in for the last several days and no one will call me back. I’ve emailed, called multiple times, been put on hold for 20-30 min without anyone answering. I cannot believe this is how they treat customers.
Beautiful showroom, very reasonable pricing with a lot of options, and very knowledgeable and helpful sales associates! Ask for Shelby, shes wonderful!!!
This is my go to place obsessed with the entire showroom. Im a designer who likes to get in get what I need and get it done. Daryl Barbee and Tiffany are the best. I had a little confusion on some sinks, I was tired and a little frustrated, but these ladies handled me and my frustration with the utmost respect. I really really appreciated that. And, also my apologies to them for my frustration. It was just a long day especially when you have a domino effect happening. Fabulous Company, Great Products and awesome customer service. We also bought faucets for the kitchen and they look fabulous. (Image below)Thanks Again Ladies.Happy Holidays from Carol Scott-Interior Design.
This newly remodeled Fergusons showroom is beautiful! Such a large variety of products are offered and its an impressive place to take clients. They have a diverse selection in the new showroom. Shelby is my sales rep and we just love working with her. Incredibly professional and always quick to respond or put together quotes for us. She knows her products extremely well and is fantastic at providing options based off of our preferences.
The customer service here is so kind.
Great service but you have to have an appointment
Super rude staff, they make it very hard to come in and view. I set an appointment over the phone and the person confirmed it and then I show up today and there was no record of my appointment and not only did the person not apologize but also they were very condescending and didn’t even offer to take down a new appointment. We are in the hunt for a total kitchen remodel and I can promise you these folks aren’t getting any of our money. Good luck running a business with customer service this bad. Suggest you head over to M&M lighting. They greeted us right at the door, carry all the brands you could ever need, and super friendly staff!!
Chandler was outstanding assistance!!!
David Mitrani was extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
Could not get waited on. I waited for a half hour.
The receptionist is dismissive and rude. It looks like the horrible online reviews are justified. Notice they showed a 4.7 star rating on their website but a 2.0 on yelp. It’s seems as if they’re under the impression Houston consumers do not have options as to where we choose to do business.
We spent about $2000 on a self-contained, plug-and-go wine refrigerator from Ferguson’s. It was supposed to be delivered on Friday. My husband specifically took a day off work to be home when the wine refrigerator was to be delivered. The delivery was delayed until the following Monday, when he could not be at home. The delivery guys arrived an hour and a half early; fortunately I was at home. What makes me absolutely livid is that they refused to put the door handle on the refrigerator because although we had arranged for “delivery”, they said we had not arranged for “installation”. The wine refrigerator photos and floor model included a handle to be able to open the wine refrigerator. I had to call Ferguson’s and got put on hold repeatedly. It was a 20 minute call; I asked to speak with the store manager and was refused. In the end I said I would not sign for an incomplete refrigerator without a handle and the store clerk talked to someone in the delivery department to tell the delivery guys to go ahead and put the handle on. What an absolutely ridiculous, insulting, time wasting experience.
The quality of appliances is not any better than what you get at Lowes or online (example - new, top of the line GE fridgerators handle just came off in my hand). My initial order was incomplete and caused a huge rush (and not able to provide what I originally picked out) as I was moving in. They did a poor job of QA of the original order and pushed off oversight to me and my designers. For the handle issue, I was told I would be charged a service fee if it was determined customer could put back on themselves. Do they think I did not think of or try that before I called??? While their customer service staff are pleasant, I will never use them again. VERY expensive lesson.
Wonderful place
Wouldnt give me the time or day. Terrible customer service. I drove 1hr to get here and couldnt even offer me an appointment. Taking my money elsewhere!
I should have believed the bad reviews before going there this morning. But Frank the secretary reinforced the notion of rude customer service. Lets see what the response from my email to their customer service look like.It appears that management is taking it seriously. I will give a 2nd chance and report back how we are treated.Thank you for taking it seriously.I believe in second chances so after the manager reached out to me. we went back. This time, I met Brittany who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I certainly will give her and the second effort a 5 star which averages out to a 3 star hence the change. Its unfortunate that 1 person can make a break an opinion of a place like this. I have placed my order, lets see what customer service we get going forward.
Fantastic guy. David helped me find the best options he is extremely helpful and he will make you feel comfortable shopping from them their products are definitely fantastic and are the highest and latest Versions.
I know many in Houston are looking for new appliances after the flood and I caution ordering from FERGUSON, Bath Kitchen and Lighting Gallery on Richmond after my experience. We purchased 50k+ Subzero/Wolf appliances, sinks, faucets, etc, August 2016 for our full kitchen remodel. The showroom is beautiful, our sales contact was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, until our order was placed. The issue Im still dealing with is that their installers ruined my NEWLY installed wood floors in front of the new Sub Zero refrigerator.A reputable wood floor expert provided a quote for repair and we factored reasonable cost to move out and move furniture off 1st floor for work to be completed. (necessary for continuity on the finish and clearly not convenient for a busy family of 4.) Ferguson sent a NON wood floor expert (adjuster?) that decided we could repair our BRAND NEW wood flooring for a quarter of our estimate.Side Note- The installers also chipped our NEW countertops while installing our Wolf range on a previous visit. Ferguson did take responsibility and replaced the countertops expeditiously. The new wood floors are another story/nightmare that I am still dealing with and unfortunately have to look at everyday. 😳Ferguson service is fantastic on initial sale. Follow up service is fair at best, (Ive given up on the replacement promised for the defective brass bar sink) installation service is unacceptable. Be careful trusting your newly remodeled home to Ferguson.
They used to have innovative and unique lighting solutions and the staff had always been helpful. Ferguson has aquired them and service attempt just now was horrible. Go somewhere else.
Excellent selection of products and brands. Attentive, knowledgeable staff. Ms. Wolfe was especially helpful.
Very friendly and professional help. Better products than the big box stores. Worth the money and great relaxing showroom to visit and get ideas.
Knowledgeable staff and they always seem to have anything you need. They can order stuff pretty quick.
Purchased a Viking cook top and downdraft. Their installer wired it incorrectly and shorted out the downdraft. Viking tech confirmed this. Ferguson wont call me back (since they already have my money). Looks like 2 - 3 weeks for the 2 replacement boards to arrive. I am trying to get a replacement downdraft since it is in stock locally and Im worried that the existing one may be further damaged but Ferguson doesnt seem to want to help.
We had a problem with some defective halogen light fixtures (defective from the manufacturer) which David the manager replaced on more than one occasion. When we became convinced the style lights were not going to work properly, I called David and he replaced them with another style and refunded even the shipping charges. I will never buy lighting anywhere else. They sincerely want to provide REAL customer service and are the best in the business!
Ive been remodeling (kitchen and bath) and have decided along the way to replace various items. Ive ordered a tub, bath/shower faucet, and now toilet (all Kohler) from Ferguson and theyve been able to deliver within 24-36 hours which helped me immensely in my project. The showroom is really beautiful - lots of products and ideas and very helpful. Definitely recommend!
Nice showroom rude staff!
The subcontractor they use is terrible. Someone came and determined that the gas cooktop I wanted to replace my old one would fit, but after they ripped out the old one, they discovered electrical work was needed. I was told that if the electrical work could be done immediately, they would come back that day. We got the electrical work done, but the subcontractor couldn’t see their way to come back until two days later, and that only happened after a lot of complaining. They also failed to bring the griddle that was also purchased and paid for. The sub who finally came told me he didn’t care that I was unhappy, he had a job, and couldn’t see why was upset when he come to “help” me, like showing up at all was a big favor. I won’t buy anything else from Ferguson if this subcontractor is involved.
Bad service and impossible to get hold of. These guys have the worst phone system on planet earth. If you like waiting 15 minutes to get to through to someone who won’t pick-up the phone you’ll love this place. We have just started our kitchen and bathroom remodel and after purchasing one item from them, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.
Very knowledgeable! Great selection. Donna is Wonderful.
Worst customer service Ive ever had in my life. They got the order wrong and I spent about $500 on electricians who couldnt figure out how to wire the lights in... since there were no instructions and the pieces were wrong. I ordered thousands of dollars in lights and 6 months later they still arent working. Parts apparently take months to arrive and they never call you or keep you informed. Awful, truly awful.
One of the best lighting stores in Houston. Great selection and friendly salespeople.
I love it in here, I have to tell you that I really appreciate the effort that your sales team gave to me. They made my shopping a little bearable.
The scope included a recessed lighting project, some table lamps, and accessories (eg dimmer, wall plate). Granted, the showroom is beautiful, truly gives you a sense of inspiration for your project. And thats about the extent of the positives in my experience. At every interaction, I felt there was something left to be desired either from a customer service or pricing standpoint. I went with the intent of purchasing over a 1000 bucks worth of recessed lighting (ie 8 lights or so). I needed assistance figuring out the exact arrangement and fixtures that would enhance the space - I tried with about three different salespeople whom ranged from indifferent to unknowledgeable. I gave up asking for their advice. I picked out the fixtures myself and I received three different quotes from all three salespeople! Prices are absurd when you compare online, which are much lower. For example a Diva dimmer was sold to me for 47, found it on Home Depot for 28. I would pay the premium for service, but again, they did not help me with the project and when I called repeatedly to check on my table lamps, they were rude on the phone. Sales guys Jesus and Morris - avoid at all costs. Jesus says he will call you back, but never will. And Morris was simply rude over the phone. Will not go back for my future lighting projects.
Strangely bad customer service. Stuck up customer service or something like that. I feel you want to be purposely ignored by sales staff, go here
Amazing
Walked out of here after it took 25 minutes to try and buy 4 lightbulbs. We were planning on upgrading all of our light fixtures from here but we’ll just go across the street or next door. This place SUCKS.
They were in the middle of changing out the year-end fixtures, so not much to see
Horrible customer service - very rude! Go somewhere else.
Ignored by salesmen, and still dont have my products after almost 3 months
Enjoyed the visit!
Nice people
