Best experience I’ve EVER had in a beauty supply store! I was assisted greeted and offered sanitizer and then assisted immediately by the sweetest lady she helped me find everything I needed. Highly recommend

Listen. I read the reviews before I went and still went because I felt the reviews were written by people who may have been impatient or... difficult. I’m from Va visiting for 10 days. This was my experience. When I arrived at around 5 something, the door was locked when I tried to open it. The door was opened by a young man (late 20s, early 30s) and he asked me what I needed and I told him I was looking for gel. He let me in and I was about to walk around before he stopped me so that he could sanitize my hands. Also, while he was letting me in, he informed an older women (probably the owner) that I had a mask on. After sanitizing my hands, he verbally guided me directly to the hair gels and even helped me pick one out since I was unsure which brand to use. I then realized that I may need more hair than I brought with me and inquired about the kinds of hair he had. He showed me the different varieties of hair he had. I told him, I’d just come back in the morning and he told me they were closed on Sunday and to not come at 9, which is the stated opening time, that he normally opens by 9:30. Lastly, I needed an edge control and he also helped me pick one of those to use (very satisfied with that product btw. It worked excellent on my 4c edges). I paid and while I paid we exchanged a little small talk about the area. Overall, a very friendly and professional experience. I said all of that so that you can properly weigh the reviews previously written. I almost forgot, some women tried to come in the shop and they roughly asked him if he didn’t want them in the store and he politely told them he only allows 1 person at a time and that he was almost done with the transaction and could let them in shortly. When I left out, I saw them leaving. Back to what I was saying, the other reviewers complained about things that were safety measures due to the pandemic (not wanting to walk around touching things, stopping to sanitize hands first, etc) The opening 30 minutes after posted is not enough for me to leave a bad review, but I understand that for some people, it is. If I lived in Houston, this would be my go to beauty supply store.

Do not waste your time or money. They only open the door for select people and have very limited selection.

Loved the unlimited amount of hair products to choose from.. and assisted with good knowledge..

Terrible customer service. (Visited first the first time in years and nothing has changed.) You can definitely feel that they don’t want you there.

Was looking for ruffled socks for my little girl and the woman behind the counter went into the back to help me find the proper size and color. She was great.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came in yesterday in a pinch needing something before an event and the man behind the counter, who I presume runs this place, was very rude and obviously racist. Dont waste your time or money. Find another beauty supply.

I been there it was nice enough. They have nice hair deals.

The guy was rude. Gave me directions to get to an aisle in English that didnt make sense and got irritated when I didnt understand. My 3 yo was crying when we went in (she threw a fit over a toy I wouldnt let her have). I understand its annoying hearing kids cry but I was only in there for 3 minutes. I only needed one hair color so I didnt linger. The lady came all the way from the back room to tell her to be quiet (ok, weird, but whatever). She then personally walks us out and makes sure the door is shut after us. Next time Ill skip them and go to my usual spot. They dont even have a great selection of beauty stuff. There are bigger ones in the area.

I went by this store to pick up About two items, when I walked in the guy that worked there kinda middle age Asian guy asked me what I was looking for I told him I could find my items as i browse around and he insisted as if he rushes u to get what u need and leave. He led me to what I needed then when it was time to check out I needed one more item he kinda let out a breath of irritation like i was needy but if he let me shop on my own you wouldnt have to do thag. He confuses you he tries to help u find things in a rushing kinda pushy way. The store has alot but youll never be able to walk the store how they are on you.

It was stinky, the lady was cleaning her toes, then she decided to follow me n the eyelashes I was looking for he said wasnt there but he was standing in front of them the whole time. #shame
