Absolutely hands down awesome experience. The manager, Nick, is incredibly knowledgeable. Both he and Nicole are so amazing to work with. The customer service level at this location is so high! Youre valued and properly taken care of. Attention to the smallest details. This isnt just some bike shop. Im going to be a customer for life.
Great bike shop. Friendly and informed staff. I will be back soon for my bike and accessories!!
For me, high quality customer service is equally as important as the product quality itself and I can easily relate this to Jim Weitzel at Bike Barn Store at Westheimer. Jim has saved me the time and thinking searching for what I wish to have for a bike. It only took me one visit and within the first few moments, Jim has helped me find the bike that reflect my needs which are comfort and easiness of use. Jim has listened to what Im looking for, and straight away he suggested to me Electra Townie 7D, which I loved it, however I was hesitant to purchase it right away because of the color, it was Cobalt color. Jim then suggested to put down a deposit just to hold it for me for 90 days. You cant go wrong with this great suggestion, it has given me the chance to look for the color I wanted to (Coral Color) in other Bike Barn Stores and also other bike shops without losing this bike. In case, I changed my mind for any reason, I can have my deposit back. So I looked elsewhere for a coral color, and I couldnt find any Electra Bike 7D anywhere, which made me feel how fortunate I am to find this bike in the first place.Jim was very well-knowledged and super courteous and patient with all my questions! He definitely made my bike purchase experience so nice! Im very pleased with the purchase!Thank you so much!
Great staff who are very knowledgeable of their craft and helpful in finding you solutions.
This place has people that know the products they are selling. They are super friendly and helpful. I am very happy to be able to step in and get exactly what we need for our bikes.
Excellent in store Team. Excellent service, large variety of products. This is my favorite bike shop.
Needed a tire tube and they took it immediately and were done in under 10 minutes! The whole replacement labor and tube was less than $20. Great service. We’ll be back.
So far so good, the store was not full, I came across to fix my daughters bike. The prefessinal that helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. I left the bike for a full tune in.They must be busy in services as I will return in 10 days to pick up the bike.I believe the price of the service they will charge me is not cheap, but lets see how the bike will be. For the price I am hoping for a great service that I believe will happen. I recommend it.
Very nice place! Very nice people to help you with your bike.
I am a 1st time customer at bike barn and I was very well informed and educated about the bike industry by Nicole. She was great, she gave us all the attention we needed and really took great care of us. 100% recommend this place.
Ive had a great experience here. I had to bring my bike in to get adjustments etc. The work was done incredibly fast, but above that, Nick took the time to answer my questions, and went even further to give me tips and tricks on how to take care of my bike. Overall, it was a very good experience, very good customer service. Keep up the good work!
I went to bike barn for an issue I had with a purchase that wasnt from their shop. The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable and even more helpful. I had an idea of what I wanted but they did a very good job of letting me know what I needed without trying to up sell. I highly recommend getting a bike from here and letting the staff guide you to your purchase.
This is a story about a man named Brandts first experience with Bike Barn.Ive owned 8-10 bikes, some Pro bikes and some not so much. After much consideration I decided to order a new Ebike online. I had a malfunction called a flat tire my first day and if you see my bike in the pictures its no ordinary bike. I just moved to this side of town and it needs a bike mechanic to fix it - no DIY options at home unless you work at a bike shop. So, I was on my way to Bike Barn on it when I blew the flat and pushed it 4 miles in the blazing Houston heat. I was greeted at the door with associates in masks who are very conscientious about COVID. I had called first and talked to ask about a new get a new gel seat and they said come on it we can do it on the spot. I was nearing heat sickness by the time I pushed it there and they were very nice about letting me sit down and recover for a minute. Then we put in a ticket for repair and they had to special order the tube (20x4) which is not common in Houston. While at Bike Barn I took a tour of their many products and services. They have it all, even if its not in the SHOWROOM. They can custom build any bike you need or want for any purpose. I met everyone. I purchased a really good new air pump and make sure you get a lesson on how they work because they arent like regular pumps at Wally Mart because they fit multiple valve types. Bike Barn called yesterday and said my Girlfriend was ready to go. I went and just squeezed in before closing time. Got my bike back in great condition and faster than expected. My bike folds so they helped me get it into the car. From the sales associates to the mechanics to the Regional Manager they treat each other like friends and you will not ever be pressured like other bike shops to just buy something to move inventory. They want you to get what you need and in the photos your will see many products I found of interest. Many friendly staff including Nicole the manager, Nicole a sales associate, Severin Proud the Mechanic, Bill Duckworth the Mechanic, Steven Toomey, and Rod Ditrich (Regional Manager) and also Alejandro Suarez (Jack of all trades). I havent met everyone there but you can call and ask for anyone and they will get you to who you need.
Great customer service! They have serviced my bike a couple of times and always in a timely manner. Two instances in particular stand out:1) I needed a repair before a ride the next day, and they stayed a few minutes after hours to make sure I was able to get back to the shop and pick up my bike before they left.2) After a repair Nick went above and beyond finding color matching replacements for my valve stem covers from his personal collection when he really didnt have to at all. Its a small thing but it shows that he really cares about every customer.I am really thankful for all the staff at this specific BikeBarn, always very helpful and friendly.
The team at Bike Barn was absolutely amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, so willing to help. Their service is unmatched and I would highly recommend them. I showed up late in the day on a Saturday afternoon and was so very very happy with the help I received.
My experience with the service department has not been the best. I bought the ulitmate maintenance package for $200 and most of the time I was doing the service on my own after pickig my bike from bike barn after a service was uncompleted. They are really bad on writing down what needs to be done with bike or passing along information to other techs, they had my bike for a week because I asked for a new tires during a tune up that usually last a day to complete, they could not get the tires I needed so they left my bike in the back, never called me about it. If I wouldnt of called they would of never called me. Also I never looked forward to taking in my bike their due to the techs that hepled me out where always in a bad mood, and didnt want to hear what was wrong with the bike or didnt seem to happy to get my bike a tune up and each time I would take it in it was someone new. Before my ultimate care was to expire I took it in to get some service on the bottom bracket and they forgot too either put back the two bolts that hold the pedal together or did not torque correct see picture. I rode my bike for over a month untill I notice when I was cleaning it. Took it back to complain they didnt seem to care.
No Bikes!!! No parts!!! Repairs and service are done in a timely manner when they have the parts. Sales staff is very nice and knowledgeable, but are working with their hands tied behind their back because they have no product to sell. I think there is a real disconnect between the warehouse and its shops. If you order a bike it will take a minimum of 8-10 weeks. Don’t put down more than 20% down on any bike you order. Shipments usually arrive on MWF. Around 11 AM. I recommend getting stuff as it comes off the truck if you are serious about getting a bike. If they ask for more, just WALK AWAY. The owner Neil and GM Rod Dittrick are more concerned with there West university store than any of there other locations. So sad,
I called all over the country looking for Vaast G1 and Bike Barn in Houston had one. I worked with Nike Pierce and he made the whole process excellent. Everything from the first phone call to shipping the bike to California, Nike nailed it!! Thank you
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will do there best to have a bike for you even during these times of low supply.
Awesome crew working there, Great customer service!
Replace my rear tire and balancing cost me about $60. i guss pretty fair.
Good selection of available inventory. Helpful sales person.
Rod and Stefan in the service department are the best!!! The store manager helped me get the bike out of my car and promised to have it ready in time for my daughter’s birthday. Rod got me signed up quickly and was very knowledgeable about my type of bike. The store manager kept his promise and the bike was ready two days early! At pickup, Stefan was so nice and took the time to listen to me and expertly explain what I needed to know. Best customer experience ever! Highly recommend!!
Excellent service. Got two tires changed in 20 minutes. That was great!
Pleasant and easy experience in getting my old bike updated.
Very friendly service.
I can always get what I need at Bike Barn. Every time I go in for some maintenance the service team takes care of it right away. That isnt the case with most other bike shops. They typically have a backlog of work and dont accept appointments, so I have to take my bike and hope that there will be space/time available for the team to work on it. If not, I have to repeat the process until I get lucky. Ive taken my bikes to several different Bike Barn locations several different times, and recommended people to do the same, and the issue gets handled the same day - usually right on the spot! - every time. To top it off, the prices are great and the team is always friendly. Much kudos.
These guys are awesome. I have had them do repairs on my bike several times and they are always friendly, fix it right the first time and have extremely fair prices. I Wouldn’t think of going any other place for bike work.
I came after 5 and they were closing but Nicole Daniels was so nice she took me in and showed me a few bikes they had in stock. She was so patient ad did not rush me at all even though I felt bad I was keeping them late. Unfortunately they didnt have exactly what I need so she is going to let me know when they have it in stock. I really appreciate her taking the time to educate me on what to look for and am definitely planning to purchase my bike here. I have never experienced a store closing for the day but still so willing to help me and not rush me out of the store.
Had to get a new tube in a tire. Walked in, fast replacement, walked out ten minutes later. Great customer service.
Great experience! Employees were very honest and knowledgable. Stefan at the service counter was especially helpful in repairing my unicycle and offering advice for home maintenance. Would definitely recommend
Good service provided for a couple of bikes I had in storage for a long time. They inspected both right on the spot. One only needed air in tires which they did for free and the other needed some mechanical repairs. Repairs only took a few days and they texted me when ready. Easy to deal with and very helpful. My new bike shop of choice.
Poor service! I had a complete tuneup of my mountain bike but on my first trip I noticed that the shifters were not adjusted properly. Went back and after a long wait they finally fixed it. When I asked them to have a look at the suspension fork, they didn’t have time to look at it (they estimated 5 min). I spent 2 hours driving back and forth and won’t be back regardless of whether I need a new bike or another tuneup.
Amazing customer service from everyone, and especially from Nick! Thanks guys for taking great care of me, definitely my favorite shop on this side of town, and within the whole Bike Barn company altogether!
These guys and gals know there bikes. I wanted to get a bike so I could ride with my boys. After a few questions Josh directed me the perfect option.
Bike tune up, thank you. helmet & rain gear, thanks again.
Horrible service. I take my bike in, after a week I get no update. I call to ask for an update. Was put on hold for 10+ mins and they even forgot about me twice, both times they picked up saying hello this is bike barn, how may I help.... Thanks for remembering you put me on hold. 1/10
From the minute I walked in, Stefan was so helpful - getting my bike out of my car, explaining the repairs needed, and giving me the best price he could. The work was finished quicker than expected. Thanks so much!!
Found myself in a bind and Travis at BikeBarn on Westheimer went above and beyond to help me! Ill do my best to keep this short...I snapped a bottle cage bolt while stripping my Madone down for a good cleaning/refresh. Its happened before on other bikes so I grabbed my trusty EZ-Out and in no time...I had a completely mangled RivNut in my frame. I dont know what extreme forces of nature were going on here, but the cage bolt basically welded itself to the frame threads. Still, no biggie, called up my LBS (Im not from the Houston area...or Texas for that matter) and found that no one there had ever changed a rivnut on a carbon frame and were cautious to do it...so the frame would need to be boxed up and shipped to Trek for service, with a 3-4 week turnaround. It just so happened we were heading to the Sugar Land area to visit family and I knew there was a Bike Barn near-ish there. Called and spoke to Travis and gave him the story, but only being in town for a couple days (on a weekend) was worried there wouldnt be enough time. Travis assured me that it would be no problem and an easy fix. Brought the fame with me from out of state, dropped it off with Travis and in no time he had new rivnuts installed ready to go. I was able to pick the frame up on our way out of town...and Im actually pretty sure Travis went in of his day off to make sure it was taken care of. Travis you the man! You went above and beyond pretty much everything Ive experienced at a bike shop before...now I only wish that I had a Bike Barn location near me with a staff as considerate as those at the Westheimer location (while waiting I was amazed to see how attentive the staff was with the customers that were in the store) and a mechanic as skilled and helpful as Travis. Bike Barn please come to south Louisiana!!
Even with limited inventory during COVID-19, Bike Barn Westchase still has quality bicycles at reasonable prices. I wanted a comfort bike, and they had a bike that fit my needs and wants perfectly, and Jim the salesman even had everything adjusted and serviced for me so the bike was ready to go as soon as I walked out the door. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a bicycle or bike accessories check out your nearest Bike Barn.
Stefan is very knowledgeable and knows how to keep his customers very happy!! I am very happy I called this store to fix my daughters future bike for Christmas!! Repairs done in a jiffy and super service!! I will return again
As a middle-aged man, I decided to lose weight through low-impact exercise by cycling. I chose Bike Barn due to its high Google ratings and close proximity. The Google ratings did not disappoint. I explained my situation to representative Nicole Neal and she promptly explained the pandemically depleted street bike situation and directed me to the hybrid section. She then explained all the updates to cycling that had occurred over these last 35 years or so since Id last rode, which were obviously numerous. She spent a great deal of time patiently answering my questions regarding each of the bikes and their respective differences, thereby allowing me to come up with an educated decision. After looking at some other sporting goods stores, and also researching the bikes Miss Neal had recommended, I promptly made up my mind to return to Bike Barn for my purchase. Employees like Miss Neal made me realize that one of your primary missions is customer service, which I very much appreciate (and that goes doubly as a novice). She is an outstanding representative who educated me thoroughly on all of my necessary initial steps as a cyclist and I cant thank her enough for it. I would highly recommend her to other potential customers, as well as the rest of the Wilcrest staff, all of whom were extremely professional, good natured and helpful. Business models that hire such excellent employees, as well as having such high grade products, are win-win scenarios. Because of your Wilcrest store and it exemplary personnel, I can now look forward to my new cycling experiences in Houston. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Nick and Sin are awesome! Dont waste your money on a Target or Walmart bike! Go to Bike Barn and get a real, quality bicycle adjusted to perfection. Nick spent quite a bit of time customizing my new bicycle to make it work for me. I still have the first bicycle that I purchased from Bike Barn 17 years ago and its in excellent condition after many thousands of miles. You get what you pay for with bikes. Go to Bike Barn and make an investment in your health and fitness!
Due to Covid-19 and many people now riding bikes you may need to go to a store where parts are in stock or order parts. I have done both when parts were not available. The staff are knowledgeable, courteous and professional.Kudos to Bike Barn!😁
Sales associate sold me a Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Trunk Rack without verifying wether it would fit on my car. I didnt learn until the day of the trip the rack didnt fit, and I missed the opportunity to bring my bikes to an amazing rocky mountain national park trip. After the trip, the store would not accept the return, and recommended that I sell the rack online. Ive been a long time customer of this store, and now not only Ill follow its advice to sell it online, but will look to buy online too.
Friendly and very helpful staff that worked with us based on our knowledge level (more on some things and less on others). Thanks to your team for a great 1st impression as were newer to Houston....well be back
I cant believe how little I felt when I was at the store, it was as if I was a fly. I went there to look at the possibility of purchasing a bike, but when I enter the store no one even bothered to look at me or even acknowledge that someone had walked in the door. So I just started looking around at the different bikes, saw something that I was interested in. Saw someone else walked in and she was greeted, but I thought nothing of it. Then someone was over there assisting her a little afterward, she was asking some questions about the different size and suspension. But yet still Im walking up and down the same aisle without no assistance. Then the associate hand the customer off to another associate and they started talking about bikes. After they discussed about different bikes another associate walks up and starts talking to the customer, as the previous associate walk back to the counter to talk with another associate. After that happened I just walked out, I have never been to a place of business where a customer is no even acknowledged the time that he or she comes in your store. It might just been the way I was dress, sorry if Im not in my clean clothes and that I have to work for a living. It doesnt matter the reasons for not get customer service when you come into a business, but I know for sure I will never be back thank for saving me some 💰.
Most complete store in Houston large variety of brands and amazing staff
Very good, very helpful I just couldnt find exactly what I wanted but reasonable substitution was available and very knowledgeable
Went here 3 times looking for a seat post for my bike. I was handled with complete disrespect. The tool that measures the seat post was not even working so they couldnt even order me a size. Bike barn has lost care for their customers since the pandemic began. I highly recommend going to recreational equipment inc on Westheimer. They respect you and take time to look into your matter. They dont even charge before hand to order you a item, unlike Bike barn where you pay for literally everything. I am very disappointed and will never go their again.
Just bought 3 bikes, helmets and bike mount. Amazing service. We had gone to another location and received sub par service. We knew we would be spending a pretty penny and wanted to do business with someone/establishment that we liked. We found the staff here particularly one guy super helpful. We will refer people to this location and continue driving the extra distance to this one. I would not recommend the location in Champions. Overall 5+ for A plus service, inventory in stock, knowledge of inventory, honesty and helpfulness.
Amazing service and quality stock available. Nick, is an amazing guide during purchase. I would recommend this store for new buyers, as I was one and it went very smooth.
Amazing employees! One guy (forgot his name) fixed my flat faster than I ever could while he helped 2 other customers. Very fast, very impressed!I never leave reviews but yall deserve it!
Stefan is the best!! 10/10 would recommend getting your bike fixed up here!
The bike shop at Bike Barn is great. If you have been at other bike shops around Houston you have probably noticed how snobish they can be. The people ar Bike Barn are truly service oriented and you can see how it percolates into happy employees. I am definitely coming back! Thanks Bike Barn!
Excellent experience with staff for my new bike purchase at this location!
My bike was in need of some maintenance (gear troubles) and while I was just gonna pop by when the store opened, I decided to call first. Nick (I believe) listened to my needs and while there was a multi-week appt. wait, he suggested I still come in and he could check it out.As soon as I arrived, he got my bike up, informed me of the problem, and fixed it.Good efficient service, friendly competent staff, and highly recommended.
Excellent product selection, nice bikes, competitive prices, superb customer service
Everyone is always nice and helpful. Bike Barns always great on Instagram.
Bike barn provided me with excellent customer services.
It was a long wait due to the COVID-19, but it was worth it, and most likely will be back soon to get my full suspension bike, love their customer service.
A broad selection of accessories and parts. Searching their Web site, I was able to find reasonable prices. As a proletariat, I consider their products to be high end. I saw bike prices that rivaled my vehicles value. I felt as if I were in a Ferrari dealership, while on a Chevy budget. None-the-less, I got the parts I needed at a competitive price. I was at the Westchase location, which tends to be busy.
Outstanding customer service from Nicole Neal! Like so many others I’ve been looking for a new bike but had no luck finding one in stock. When one came into the Westchase store I stopped by to look at it but it was too big. 3 weeks later Nicole notified me she found one in the warehouse, had it delivered to the Westchase store the following day, and was waiting for me when I arrived. She checked the fit, helped me with the test ride, and answered all my questions. I can’t say enough good things about her, she really put in a lot of effort for me.
Great service. Very attentive and helpful staffs. Two thumbs up!
Amazing staff and management! Overall great first experience with them and I will be doing future business with them.
I called up there on short notice and they repaired my electric bike rear tire same day. Best feeling to have my bike back in commission!!! Thank you Nick!!
Walked in to have them eyeball a used bike i purchased and they ended up giving me great service, maintenance recommendations and fine-tuning to get me ride ready.
Purchased bike that needed to be shipped.. was told 4-5 business days... waited 7 days no call or follow up on it... finally went up to store to find out they had no idea where it was or if it had been shipped... the dashes salesperson was very understanding and helpful and returned my money without a issue.... the staff is the reason I will return...
Very informative, professional advice in types and styles of bikes.
Took my bike here for an overhaul and downgrade from 2x10 to 1x10. They charged me 600$ for the service including both shox, new disk brake pads, new cables, and new chainring and cassette. No brake blending, that would add another 70$. I tought it was very expensive, but decided to go ahead and pay for the service anyways. After waiting 3 weeks I call to ask if I could come pick the bike on the due date, to finally find out that they havent even started the service and that they are not able to do the downgrade. I decided to go there to pick up the bike and not get anything done. When I arrived, I find out that the bike was already completely disassembled and washed. So I decided to just go ahead and let them finish the service.Afterall, I have paid 497$ for 3 weeks waiting, an overhaul, front and hear shox service and new cables. No discount was offered or any sort of compensation. Very disappointing customer service, and quality overall. They could have at least told me, before making me pay 600$ for everything that they would not be able to downgrade. In the end, they did deliver the bike today and everything seems nice and clean. I cant blame on the mechanic, I think he did a good job. But it was definitely not worth the money and wait. Never coming back to this shop and definitely not recommending.
Nicole saleswoman is the best at bike barn, she helped me a lot and solved my problem, bike barn has quality and commitment to the customer.
Great employees
Mike at bike barn was amazing! He was patient, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you so much.
Im impressed with the teams ability to manage difficult situations while navigating Covid-19. I know that when they decided to work at a bike shop they didnt think it would look anything like it does now. Restrictions on store traffic, high demand for bikes/repairs because people are going stir crazy, etc... You will deal with difficult customers and people that struggle with patience, but know there are folks out here that appreciate your efforts.
Their service department is First Class! Always helpful and gets the job done!
Nick was great and super helpful especially during these crazy times when bikes are so scarce! All of his team was super friendly and helpful!
Good service and selection. Friendly staff
I love the staff! They are so helpful and informative!
Be careful when you order a bike from Bike Barn. We recently placed a pre-order for a Trek X-Caliber 9, 2021 Model. They told us 2 to 6 weeks for delivery that was 7 to 8 weeks ago. When asked they tell us they have no control over their vendor Trek. When we do online chat with Trek they tell us we need the sales order number from the bike shop. Bike Barn tells us they have no way to track orders from Trek. Someone is bending the truth. One thing I do know is that they had no problem swiping our credit card for the pre-order. If you cannot provide the product when promised then dont promise it. I will re-evaluate our relationship with Bike Barn due to this. Be careful about where you spend your money.
Great customer service I will definitely recommend everyone I know about this place. Mr. Steven is a great guy I will always go to Bike Barn on westheimer from now on because of mr .Steven. Thank you Mr. Steven.
Friendly staff and I was able to score an awesome new mountain bike during the pandemic.!
A great place to get your bike and a great place for service after the sale!
When I THOUGHT I knew what I needed, they helped me find the perfect solution. I could not be happier!
Ive never had any issues with my breaks. This guy who was at the register tells the guy fixing my bike to switch the break because its safer that way. Im riding in the city and I stop after crossing an intersection. Im wondering why my bike wont run and the break is stuck in my rim. Im blessed I didnt get stuck in the middle of the street. While at the store, Im waiting on someone to help me find a part. The guy allowing people in and out helps me. I go to the register and the the bike barn employee guy is on his phone texting. He is not friendly. He asks me what kind of bike I have and he tells me I have the wrong part and go to the back to get me the correct part, which he could have done from the beginning but was too busy on his phone.
My first experience was a little rocky, had a few mix ups with my service request. When I came back to sort the issues out, the maintenance guy in the back made everything right. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and gave me the customer service experience which you cant find dealing with online stores. Thanks guys!
What a great shop. Gordon, Alfredo, and the rest of the staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable and keep my bikes running perfectly and safely at all times. Service wait times are short and prices are super reasonable. They have a great selection of new bikes and bike gear as well. I highly recommend!
Took bikes to this location on three separate occasions to get gears checked, mechanic accused us of doing something to the bike to cause the problem. Each time we left, the same problem existed or there was a new issue with the gears. One mechanic appears to be new and inexperienced, the older mechanic didn’t take time to listen to what was going on with the bikes during any of the visits, behavior bordered on rude and condescending. Understand this location is busy, however it may have helped to take a minute or two to listen to a short history of what the problem was and take the extra time to double check your work before sending out a shoddy product ( product being the repair work ) that you’ve attached your name and the company’s name to. Will not return nor recommend.
To the people checking this store reviews, check no more, this is the store. Customer service A+ quality A+ prices A+. Get your bycicle and bycicle parts from here, you wont regret it.I recently bought my crank arms and pedals for my MARIN ALPINE TRAIL at a great price.
I have been going to Bike Barn since 2012 when I moved back to Houston. I had an old Giant Boulder they took good care of. Then I bought a Trek Hybrid 7.2 there in 2014. They have taken very good care of me in the six years total that I have been a customer. Im buying a Trek Marlin 6 from them now, and I will continue to use their services. I do miss some of the staff that used to be there; however, turnover is to be expected in retail.
Great n fast service
I just wanted to share my experience today at Bike Barn. If you are in the market for a bike I highly recommend going to see Mark, Alex and Severin at the Westchase location. I find these gentlemen to be honest, knowledgeable and very friendly with great customer service. There was never a feeling of high pressure and I was able and encouraged to test ride any bike in the store. Thank you for a great shopping experience.
Nick, who helped me buy my bike, was super cool. And I got a fabulous bike. Seriously I love my new bike and I really enjoyed that father daughter mountain bike shopping. I didn’t like my service though when I went to pick up my new bike the next day with my mom. Some other guy was helping me. I was going wedding dress shopping after so I had on a lot of makeup and heels. I was treated like I know nothing about bikes. One guy could not believe this bike was for me. A guy make a dumb joke about how I can’t ride a bike in heels. Another guy explained the risks of using the front brakes, that I should brake while turning, and was trying to teach me how to wash it. But like dude that’s my 4th bike. This year alone I’ve rode over 1000 miles. Just because I’m a lady doesn’t mean I don’t know bike stuff. I know how to brake. I know how to ride a bike. I know how to clean it.So to summarize, Nick was super cool. Some other guys were not so cool. Assuming women don’t know bike stuff is not cool. If you are unsure of someone’s experience level, you can always ask.
If you have questions about anything, all the staff is friendly. They don’t push you to buy anything.
I showed up with a pretty new bike I had purchased at another bike barn that needed MAJOR ADJUSTING !! and even though the service team were majorly backed up - they took the time to adjust the bike to where I needed it to be!! 5 stars!!
Great service, guy greeted me upon parking and got the bike out of my Jeep for me, fair pricing and great customer service, the guy even put my bike back in my Jeep for me. They adjusted my brakes and got my bike in riding shape.
10 year history with this Bike Barn.Have purchased 3 Specialized bikes from them.Excellent customer service.Geoff has been helping me with my bikes since purchase of bike #1. He is exceptional!Steve is an excellent manager.I highly recommend this location.
They have been able to do all the repairs that I needed very quickly.
I have been to this location several times and the staff has always been helpful. I ended up buying a bike from here and have no regrets. Geoff who helped me with my bike was really informative on the bikes set up and he fit me on a perfect frame size and Im happy about that. The parts counter has a really helpful man named Jase there. He is also really helpful and he is really informative. I enjoy how he takes his time to help someone out. He never tries to upsell and he explains things well. I will definitely take my bike to him first before even thinking about taking it to someone else.
