They charged me 100 dollar restock fee for a item I had for 5 business hours. Unopened and unused. They could have waived this fee. Instead I had to argue with Carlos to even get a portion of my money back. They’re jerks. Go somewhere else if you can.

Vince at Palmer Clear Lake is phenomenal. He goes out of his way to make sure that you are taken care of. Their parts supply is excellent and the prices are fair- but the best part of Palmer Clear Lake is the customer service by far!

Always have the parts that I need! Fantastic customer service and will give advice on how to fix issues. Prices are normal for a boat repair shop. I have used them for almost a decade to get the factory parts I need. They will ship directly to your house, or you can pick them up.

Horrible expiance. They are scammer. They took my part to the back and cut the wire so they wouldn’t have to return it. Never took the part out the box. The man at the desk said they where painting for penis. First part they sold me was wrong they wouldn’t return it due to the box being dirty. Don’t support this business.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT HERE - This shop is dishonest, overrated, overpriced, and does not stand by their work. I had them install one long block (boat has twin engines), rebuild the power steering ram, and a work on a few other miscellaneous items on my 1984 Cobalt twin engine CS23. The shop told us the boat was ready for sea trial, then upon executing the trial ran my boat out of gas (the gage worked fine), and had to send out a helper with a tank of gas on paddle board so they could get it back to the ramp on Clear Lake (I’m serious). We looked past this as a simple mistake and took Palmers word that the boat had been repaired properly. When I got the boat back to my house I started the port motor. It ran for about 20 seconds, then stopped and would not start back up. Then I started the starboard motor, which did the exact same thing (this is strange because the starboard motor had not been worked on). My boat was not operational, it would not start AT ALL. Upon investigating it turned out that I had water in both carburetors... Which Palmer told me I must have put contaminated gasoline in my boat (we filled it up at the gas station at the interstate of Hwy 3 and Pineloch). Here’s what’s funny: I put around 43 gallons of gas in my 60 gallon gas tank... Which had recently been run out of gas and had not had any gas put in it - as per Palmer Power.... (Shouldn’t it have taken 60?)A Cobalt CS23s filler neck is at the back of the boat at the gunnel, and if you leave the gas cap open and we’re to wash my boat or have any rain water would run into the gas tank.... Which is what Palmer Powers shop did after they brought my boat back to the shop after running it out of gas....I explained all of this to Palmer and he DENIED ALL OF IT, AND DID NOTHING to investigate what his shop did to my boat.At the end of the day I wound up siphoning 17 gallons of water out of my gas tank (including acorns, leaves, and twigs (I do not have a tree in my front yard)). Palmer denied doing this to my boat. AND (before we figured out what happened) charged me another $800 to rebuild both my carburetors that HE damaged. I had to replace the exhaust boot on my port motor because the shop installed it with a cut from a box cutter (serious again). And it took me countless hours to find and replace all the inline filters between the gas tank and motor from all the debris in the water.Overall he charged me $15,000 for this work and when I told him what his shop had done to my family boat he got aggressive and denied it all.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP
