Good convenient store with Middle eastern, Pakistani and Indian grocery and Halal Meat for the neighbourhood. Saves you a trip to Hilcroft.Butcher section needs to be updated and cleaned properly though, smells as soon as you enter the store.Attached restuarant too, but didn’t try that.

Well you dont have to worry about looking at Halal labels when you buy from here. Quite friendly and guiding. Just heat and ready to serve stuff was also available. Nice experience .. 5 stars..

Great sausage, liver, beef, and lamb. Skip the chicken, which still has blood on it. Their spice section is well stocked and they have a rotation of homemade Arab sweets. Check it out!

Avoid buying MEAT products here. They mix-up old meat with new meat and package it. If you look carefully after opening the shrink-wrap, you will see two different color of meat. This happened to me both with Chicken and Beef. Very unethical business practice.

If possible, I would have given them 0 stars. This was the first time going to this establishment. I was intrigued by their low prices for halal meat products. I asked to see the Zabihah certificate and the owner became very aggressive. Against my better judgement, I bought several meat products, including chicken tights, chicken legs, and meat patties. I cooked and ate the chicken legs that same day, after I ate it i felt very ill. I did not know why. Today my wife called me to ask me where I had bought the meat because the meat seemed very odd. We cut it open one of the meat patties and there was green/blue spots in several locations. After seeing this, I knew that I had gotten sick from eating the chicken the night before. I would stay away from buying meat from this location. I will no longer be going there again. Also I am going to report this location to the Better Business Bureau.

Best place I like it good service

As a former restaurateur, and brother-in-law of a food safety inspector, I like it when some of the items written on the specials board run out. It means they pre-make only certain numbers of items for that day, and are more concerned with having batches designed for a standard days fare than serving every possible item to any customer, even the last ones of the day. Given that, the first 3 things I wanted from the specials board were out, but the chicken on rice dinner I did have was very good. The spices were elegant, rice perfect, and the chicken literally fell off the bone. Some of the small bones and cartilage were difficult to navigate, but overall, I will go back (for take-out at least, see later).The store next door (theres a pass-through to each other) had a fair array of items and nice attendants.I cannot, however, give the restrooms a pass, at least the mens room. I was, quite frankly, entirely disgusted by the presentation and upkeep of the mens room. There was no lock on the stall door, and no trash bags in the large, open-topped trash container. I simply do not know how the health department allows this restroom for public use.

Very nice people, always ready to help, only thing is their meat is not stored at proper temperature. I have been a customer for 3 years and liked the people working there. The meat they have on display says packed on the current day but most of them have a smell when you take it home. I believe their refrigeration (display) needs to have proper temperature.

Sorry to write this review as I normally like helping local small businesses, but I had to post this review after my experience at Al Ameen Grocery. The staff was not very helpful with identifying a specific ingredient I needed as I cannot read arabic. They simple told me to just go to the restaurant next door; also I found it a bit off putting when the worker grabbed my phone with the same hand he was handling raw meat with and then put his hand back in the meat; 1 for my phone being contaminated and 2 the whole container of meat being contaminated both are a big no no in my book. Maybe the workers were having a bad day, but either way they were far from helpful and I saw issues with cross contamination.

A little pricey... but the best quality in town as far as Ive seen.Very friendly and helpful customer service. If you dont find something in the shelves, just ask one of the store reps/helps. Theyll gladly get it from the stock inside.I truly enjoy shopping here, especially the best halal meat.

They have the bare minimum necessities. Can can most of simple go to stuff. But if someone wants to grocery shop for the entire home, Id highly suggest go to a big grocery store. I didnt find variable sizes i n products. Couldnt buy more stuff because of that.

I now live in the area and it is great having a small grocery nearby, especially because there is no longer a Kroger within walking distance. Good place to get spices and dry goods (rice, etc) for decent prices. They also have a limited selection of fresh fruits and veggies that is helpful to have in between large grocery runs to the major stores. You could feasibly do all your grocery shopping here if needed.

They got fresh food. But they are very costly. Everything is a bit costly. I only go there when I do not have time to go other cheaper places which are a bit far from my house than this one.

I went there for milk, but they didnt have milk, only yogurt drinks. They dont have price tag on many items. Overpriced, they charged $4 for a can (6oz) of tuna!! (usually less than $1.5 in grocery store)
