This Fiesta used to be pretty great but after the last few hurricanes its really gone downhill. The wide range of selections are nice but its very easy to pick up something that will give you food poisoning, and some things are unreasonably priced compared to the competition (especially the meat). The managers are hardly ever helpful in a crisis. Youre much better off going to the nearby Kroger or going a little further to HEB. It seems they are understaffed, or something, as there are never enough check out lines open (usually two) and youll easily spend half an hour or more just waiting to make your purchase, at any hour of the day. Patience is a part of life, but this is the only store Ive gone to that tests that to the limit. For being located where it is, its truly a shame.
This store is clean and well stocked. The Chinese cafe inside has tasty 8$ lunch es. Everyone s always been helpful at this store.
Regretting my choice to eat sushi from this store. I was excited for the affordable prices because I usually buy fromKroger ($9) across the street and fiesta ($6) has cheaper prices. Disappointingly I got hit with food poisoning the next day. The sushi tasted old and sour. Someone left some at checkout and I found that odd I hope they aren’t putting it back if people leave it around the store. Learned my lesson don’t buy cheap sushi!
Experience today! People remember check your items before leaving the cashier. Today I bought just less than 10 items, the cashier did not put all the items into the bag for me. I was busy with paying, when I lelf they leaved all the bags on the desk for me. I grabbed all and look around, nothing left. But when I arrived home, I figured out 1 item is not in the bag. This is the second time casher didnt give me enough items I checked out. I dont say they intentionally do this, but manager need to train staffs more careful. Feel bad when we pay but we do not get the thing we buy. We can not take a long trip back to complain.
Went to buy a quart of fat free milk the other day thinking i was going to enjoy it come to find out it’s very very sour. So i came up here just now to get an exchange didn’t want a refund because i wanted milk not money. So the manager i think her name is Chasity i’m not sure told me to go get another quart of milk but they were sold out of quarts so she told me i’d have to pick a different size but pay the difference it wasn’t a big difference i’m just not sure as to why i’d have to pay a difference when it’s not my fault they DONT HAVE QUARTS OF MILK and THE ONE I WANTED WASN’T FRESH. Hate the customer service and the products are even worse. Don’t waste your time coming here the taste of the milk was indescribable and they’ll make you pay for an exchange.
Use to be one of my favorite places, but check out is way too long.
Selection and prices are good but Every. Single. Time I’ve been here the lines are outrageous. Only 3 cashiers open and lines unorganized down the aisles with no regard for express lanes. They have to sort this issue out before I come back. Prices might be good but I’ll pay more to not deal with the hassle
Come here very often, but there is only two lanes open and the lines be wrapped around the aisles. This is a very busy store so I feel there should be more cashiers. It’s like some Walmart’s and they act like they don’t care.
I love the store, but today they had only 2 check out lines. One of which was express. The lines were long. Lots of people just left their groceries and went somewhere else to shop.
Always an adventurous visit and nice products.
We come here every time I come to Houston love the variety and stuff we cant get at home in Nixa.
Have good produce and fresh seafood…
Great prices! I was able to find some stuff I havent been able to find anywhere else as well!!
It was okay but widespread so I had to walk and it was a little hard to find what I needed without going down a lot of aisles. Other than that it was fine.
Great Hot food / meals, could staff cashiers better to match store attendance - frequently an issue. Otherwise, great place to shop
Great variety of vegetables and fruits.
Totally understaffed check out counters. No baggers; cashiers really overwhelmed.
This is one of those Flagship fiestas, which means they have everything you can think of! Very good customer service here and check-out was fast! Highly recommend this location.
Very clean store with a huge selection of products. I really like the carribean isles
Good store as in the products but it’s like being in a Walmart the lines are sooo long only having 2 cashiers ALWAYS! How does the this big store only have 2 registers open ALWAYS! Be ready to stand from 10-30 min in a line at least
I Love This Fiesta, But The Cashier Hade A Attitude As If She Didnt Want To Be Bothered!
Great place to shop.good food selections, but they run out of so many items that are needed.
Its a nice market to purchase vegetables and fruits and seefood. Some convenient services provided here at the same time.
Horrible store. Your deserve a 0 negative Star.I had left my mask at home and work so I went into the store with a paper covering my face to grab just three items I needed to make for and when I got to the cashier she refuse to check me out although I had my face covered with paper not a mask...very bad experience over all and embarrassing and when I was reporting it to the manager he stated he allowed her to do that.I will never support that store again. They need to train their customers service manager and clerk.I went to Sprout Super Market the next day and forgot my mask again but the clerk offered me a mask unlike the clerk at fiesta whom was rude....I will always shop at Sprout MarketI will never shop at this fiesta or the company as a wholes cause of there uncaring act about a mask, I hope the employee and manager choke .
Huge store. Great value and find most of foreign spices
#666666The best Fiesta In Houston, TXTessies Boy
Always have what I want! Thank you!
Horrible, no one is working in the fish or deli department. Manager didnt offer any assistance other than to say he has an employee shortage. Another reason to add to the list for my less and less visits.
Clean and good customer service 👌
I never have to wait in line at this location!
Always a great place to find a diverse range of groceries!
Big clean and always in an out of there
No matter what time of day you enter this establishment, there is only two lanes open with people waiting. The parking is okay at this establishment. However you have to be mindful of the transients that hang out at this store. They are often walking around trying to get money from people.
Love going here for my hot sauce stop. Matouks Flambeau
Two cashiers and two long lines!!!😠😣. The manager was doing something with a jacket display. I ask him are you opening up another cashier check-out? He said no! So I remained in line. I happen to look @ station 5# and the manager was ringing up this young spanish girl and, did not state or get any ones else attention he had open up another station. Nor did he turned rhe lite on letting any other customers know he was open. Yes!!😒the manager was Hispanic!
Pretty decent store. Has a variety of items to choose from not just food items. I suggest you get there early for the best meat selection as that item tends to sale out quickly oh and watch the date on the package. Happy shopping!
All ways Great serviceAnd the cashier are kind
Super jumbo shrimp already cleaned and devian great buy
Dirty Bird!Fiesta Mart #18 was accepting cash only prior to Joe Bidens visit to nrg Stadium on Friday 26 Feb 2021.When they again began to accept debit, credit and EBT cards, they were charging 10% more than the prices tagged on the merchandise (see photo of receipt and tag). They obviously market to the hispanic community, and its shameful that they are preying on them.
Was one of the best bakeries around but after Covid I ran into a bag of rotten bread on shelf!!
First time being there, Im used to the one close to home. This one was bigger in size, more choices but the fish (main reason visiting the location was not looking fresh and not big choice).
I went to Fiesta Mart at Kirby last week for early voting and decided to shop there after. The store was very well kept and organized it was very busy due to voting but it was easy to find everything I needed. The Restroom was very clean and spotless! Very good price in produce and they have different varieties of sweet bread sold in bakery. All the staff was smiling and greeted me as I shop.Check out was fast! No LINES! I was talking to Karl one of the store managers, he was very helpful he answered all my questions and was very polite and knowledgeable about his business and products! Over all experience is GREAT! Will definitely go back here! I highly recommend Fiesta Mart at Kirby!
Excellent International food section! Frozen seafood section is great!
Great Grocery store
Cashier very nice Great customer service.
Good selection of international foods and nice section of baked goods.
Alright prices to wait 45min at the checkout line due to 2 lanes only being open. Hello Kroger
I came to NRG and I stop here. All employees are very friendly and good attitude, Restrooms (Male) are very clean. I soon as I walk in you can feel the good vibes of the employees.
Great selection and prices
Groceries are starting to get expensive
Good produce and seafood departments. National brands are very overpriced vs Kroger and HEB. Wine prices are inflated also.
Extremely over priced. Sausages at HEB of same size and brand were actually $3. LESS. Blue Bell ice cream was nearly $4.more than at other grocery stores.DAIRY PRODUCTS HERE ARE OLD, OUTDATED but priced higher than any other store with only Randles being higher.Bought over priced SOUR CREAM on 11/12/20 only to find mildew inside container after opening. Checked expire date to find it EXPIRED 2 MONTHS AGO. DAIRY PRODUCTS are old but still on shelf for ppl to buy and get sick on months later. Done with Fiesta! Too many better options.
Very good prices for purchase grocery
I used to work in the parking lot at this store during Voting. I used to pass out the campaign literature. I love this store. I live close to downtown and I am not above shopping at this store day or night. It is very clean and actually fun to shop.I love the international foods and natural medicine sections. I can find items at this store that I cannot find at Kroger or Randalls. Keep up the good work, I will be there this weekend.
Convenient, but produce was not as good as usual. Friendly staff.
The prices at Fiesta you cannot beat. They have just about anything you need at a reasonable price. Their meat and seafood department has fresh items. If you are on a budget, shop there.
Kinda slow lines but, that allowed to remember what I actually came to the store for !
Extremely affordable casseroles.
I went to the Kirby store by reliant why me and my mom was in line they shut down the line instead of waiting to serve the customers that were in line they shut down the line by time we move to the next line we were even farther behind in line I went to the managerJonathan and spoke with him he was telling me that he was serving the customers and he decided to shut down the line so that wasnt his problem he was very rude didnt apologize and didnt care fiesta well this location fiesta its getting worse and worse by the days the managers dont care
Easy to notice from the street in normal traffic. Wheelchair accessible parking lot structure, entrances and restrooms. Cash, credit and debit accepted. Courteous staff. Great sales prices, check your local circular sales paper.
Go there if you are ready to spend 40 minutes in the line, and ready to deal with exhausted cashiers.
Nice place with lot of stuff for south asians. Go Wednesdays for fresh produce and less prices
Great clean place to shop
The main thing to like in fiesta is their international food aisles.
This Fiesta have had everything I needed and the line was well
Very understaffed. Be prepared to wait in line
Love they have international food options 😋
My sadness, was hoping to run in and pick up about 18 items. But on two cashiers working at this time. Even the 15 item line is extremely long. No one is answering store phone 🤷🏽♀️
Store was awesomely nice and organizedMade searching for items much needed
They have everything that you need.
There is a huge selection of Indian food! There are rows and rows of International food from the Middle East, South East Asia and Central and South America. The selection includes imported soft drinks, candy, busicuits, and much more! The carts are cleaned by an employee. The store provides hand sanitizers on the inside of the stores walls. There are wipes for extra cleaniness.
No variety of ice cream flavors.
Purchased blue crabs
Very clean, organized. Not many people when we went shopping. Will visit again. Had all that we needed.
Everything is good inspite of the pandemic
Great Staff great Selection. Keep it up
This is an international store and has a wide variety of foods. Its a great store shop!
Love the International Section. Love it. I find exactly what Im looking for. Fiesta is the only place that has the International items I need. YaY!!!
This place never disinfects their carriages.
Staying in Houston at the Holiday Inn and having back surgery at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Fiesta grocery store had everything we needed plus some. Very happy with our shopping experience.
It has a great selection of the essentials. Warning: the seafood/meat section totally STINKS! But I was able to buy really fresh looking veggies and the have organic selections!BTW - Shout out to Alexandro for excellent service and manager Saul for patiently helping me with my coupon, instead of turning me away.
Great place to get mugged and shot at. You will never NOT be approached by someone looking to hustle.
Nice store. Friendly staff. I was able to find the items I needed with ease. Very clean and organized. This was my first time in the store at this location. I will most definitely be shopping here again when I am in the area.
Found what I needed more.
Stopped for some food
Love the variety of items they sale there. They have tons of different foods and snacks from all over the world.
The cashier at Fiesta was rude. Management should work in training the cashiers about providing better customer service.
Just had a great experience with their butcher R. I couldn’t find what I wanted, so I asked him for pork belly uncut. He brought out a huge frozen one. When I told him how much I needed, he cheerfully cut exactly how much I needed, then got me another hard-to-find item.We then had a brief friendly conversation, and I am thrilled with the customer service I received today.Fiesta has a true treasure of an employee with “Mr R”.
Love shopping at fiesta.
Its really good market 👍 but few bread and hand sanitizer can be found these days
God place so far
For me the main good thing about this store is the international section thats located in the front/right part of the store as you walk in. They especially have a very good selection of ingredients for Indian food. They also have ingredients for Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Middle Eastern, and Caribbean food. Their produce section is good as well and they have fresh herbs for a lot of different cuisines that you probably cant find at other regular grocery stores. Dont expect to find organic produce here though... mostly they dont have that except a small section. They have a decent bulk section. They have cheap beans and a wide selection of beans (spread in several different areas: the Indian section, Middle Eastern section, Caribbean section, Latino section, and regular bean aisle). They have firewood and wood for various types of grilling. The cons of this store: I am scared of their fresh seafood section because it smells nasty. I would never buy any seafood at this store. Their canned fish tends to be expensive and there is less of a selection than at other stores.
