Never a dull moment at this place. This continues to be our favorite Asian Supermarket in the entire Houston metropolitan area. The food court never ceases to disappoint, and theres always something new to try. This is where Hannah first introduced me to Corn Silk tea and the rest was history. This is where I happily burned my tongue and rocked it with pride from that AWESOME stew we picked up at the court. This is where we go when we want to eat, shop and explore all in one. All other Hmart locations have been good to us, but this one is special. Htownlegend certified

Pro tip: Think of H-Marts food court as a tasty/cheap restaurants. So many Chinese BBQ ducks, BBQ pork, roasted pig, Taiwan rice combo meal and so much more.If you wants to cook, how about fresh/live lobsters, dungeness crabs, cat fish or fresh butcher meats. You get the idea, so much more then your typical grocery store.

My favorite Asian food store! The bakery is pretty top notch! (That milk bread is to die for!) Its pretty clean and there are many choices of products to choose from. Wish there was one closer to my house!

TLDR: Try out the food court!Food court - There are several Korean restaurants, one fried chicken place, and a sandwich shop. (TRY the sandwich shop, Oh K-Dog). The meals are all around $10 ish. Stopping by the food court is perfect for preventing you from overspending on groceries when you shop hungry. 😂

Not that different from other H Marts, but still nice over all with a friendly staff. I was able to find most things I was looking for with no problems.

Really nice place to shop at. It had a lot of variety of products, several good restaurants, and good customer service. Its a little smaller than some of the Hmarts weve been to,but over all we had a nice experience buying products and eating from different restaurants at the same time. Will definitely be back!!

Korean Grocery. With Bakery, food court, ginseng store, beauty store.. and more.

We got there around 12pm on Saturday and it was so crowded. Not that the parking lot is small but it was so crowded and it took time to find a parking space. We mainly wanted to check out the food court and got some food; we liked the food a lot. As for the groceries, they have a good selection. I especially looked for some Japanese items and my visit was satisfying.

QiQi made me go to the Korean market. Now, she is not Korean...she is Chinese. I would have named it the A Mat but than again, I would not know what to stock it with.This place has tons of fresh food and a variety I have never seen in my entire life. She has brought me here before and I am always fascinated with the different types of food. I still am not interested in trying any of it but I like walking with her and watching her do Asian things. I find her so beautiful. Strangely everyone that works at the H mart is Hispanic. Lol.

This was my 1st visit and I loved it. I got jackfruit, pickled radish, soy garlic chicken, Samgak-gimbap filled with pork bulgogi, and tteokbokki snacks. I also stopped by Oh K-dog and picked up the bacon egg and cheese toast, and a half mozza & half hot dog. Sorry but that kdog was so dang good I ate it on the way home. The batter was light and crunchy and the sugar dusting gave it a hint of sweetness. Everything I bought was high quality and fresh, I will be back for sure.

Rather small but very clean and has an enormous selection of Korean ingredients/foods as well as Japanese ingredients. I have been to H-Marts in many states and even at other locations here in Houston and this is the one with the best selection.

It’s h mart if you have never been then go! It is an amazing store and you should go just for the seafood.

A diverse and brightly lit Asian themed super market. Thought the exterior was interesting, various window panes have “glasses, sunglasses” window decal, not what was expected of a supermarket. Walking in, understood why — There are consignment stores along the sides - food court (about 5-6 options), Tous Les Jours bakery, cosmetics, clothing and eyeglass shops. The consignment retails (other than TLJ) are pretty messy. H-Mart, on the other hand, is fairly well stocked, clean, and bright.

Love everything about this place.They were one of a few stores since the beginning of the pandemic that really made its customers feel safe with their protocols.The bakery sells the best baby choux ever. And their desserts and breads are sooooo good. Yum.They have some of the freshest vegetables and are competitive in pricing. They carry all types of fruits and vegetables too. They have a great assortment of tofus too.I love their banchans (side dishes) like kimchi, seaweed salad, fish cakes, seasoned bean sprouts and the list goes on. All delicious.Their meats and seafood are diverse and fresh. Now their meats are a little pricy but they are great quality. Serious.They carry all the Asian staples and more. Aisles of noodles, sauces, snacks, and more.They have a lot of Korean prepared foods too - spicy fried chicken nuggets (my fave), japchae, kimbibap, bulgogi bowls and much more.If youre looking for soju and wine, they have that there too.One of my favorite areas is their household stuff. And their slippers. I love their slippers. If you are looking for the Korean clay pots or their noodle pots, they have them along with a lot of other great kitchen items.They also have a good court filled with delicious foods. So go to shop and grab lunch or dinner too.This is one of my favorite stores.

The meat and seafood department are really awesome here and high quality. Good variety of soups and fresh vegtables at reasonable prices. As with most asian markets the language barrier is difficult sometimes if I am looking for something and cant find it, finding someone to ask for help can be challenging. They try to help the best they can so I am not placing blame on anyone, it is just the way it is, I really enjoy going to this store.

Awesome store. Great selection of everything. Rice, soy sauces, noodles, Kim chi, seafood, produce, etc. that you cant find anywhere else. We make the drive to Houston from Louisiana monthly now just to go to H Mart. Food court is great as well, and kids love watching the machine pop out rice cakes.

Shop here all the time! Always stocked and clean. Staff is always friendly. The food court and bakery is an added bonus!

This is probably the best asian market in houston. Its HUGE and has the best selection you could imagine! Just about anything you need, you can find here. Their pre made food is so good, I love the onigiri. I also love that it has a little food court inside! The people working are very helpful too!

The food court is amazing! I tried dishes from several places and loved everything! Korean ribs were well seasoned and delish. Korean hotdog with cheese and sweet potato was amazing and I cant stop thinking about getting another one! Korean fried wings were addictively tasty. I wont bore you with listing each item, but trust me ev-er-y-thing was on point, fresh and very well seasoned. Had to talk myself out of going back the next day. Yum!!!!!

Absolutely LOVE this store. Produce on steroids, meat & seafood selection is out of this world (even though Im vegetarian) and a very nice selection of household goods. Theres 2 aisles dedicated to American food. A wine area, fresh bread shop, a couple eateries, clean RR and MORE! I also found some dried arrowroot & a handful of other roots. Including fresh burdock root. Staff is pleasant also. This location is neastest to me and worth every bit of my 30 min drive. And another thing, the energy/vibration of this store is 2nd to none! 👌🏽😁

Great Asian food (esp Korean) selection from fresh meat, marinated meats, live & fresh seafood & other produce. They have a good restaurants inside too so its okay to come hungry at this Super H Mart. Great prices for super fresh food. I absolutely love that store. I drive 35mins from home but its definitely worth it.

I was able to find just about everything I needed. There produce was fresh with a lot of variety. Their seafood area is amazing. There is also so. Much. Kimchi. Overall good prices. The employees were friendly and the store was well kept. The sitting areas were closed off due to covid, but the little shops were still open. Very happy with my experience, Ill certainly be back.

The price is relatively expensive, and the vegetables are not fresh enough. The sanitary environment is not guaranteed enough. The variety is not complete.

The place to go for your Korean grocery shopping needs. Everything we need to cook our home cooked staples are readily available here. Granted, this is the oldest location and not the most aesthetically pleasing, but it’s where our moms and grand moms shop :)Food court is a great intro to what would normally be street food/food truck food in Korea. It’s hot or miss with some of the offerings, but it’s okay. Plenty of parking, efficient checkout, all of the kimchi and banchan I don’t want to make at home… :)

We love this store! They have a wide variety of Asian food, including many hard to find items. Their produce always looks healthy and their prices are reasonable. There a small food court, offering a large variety of made to order foods. H Mart also carries a variety of household items including cookware.

They have higher quality seafood compared to nearby asian market. Most of their products are imported from Korea better qualities than made in China.

Love coming here for the food court and fresh seafood. Their snack selection is huge and diverse. Usually on the weekends they have a bunch of sampling. And their prices on most things beat the regular grocery stores

There is always a sale on something I need. They moved things around.But a little extra walking does a body good. Great friendly cashiers and guess what!

The Logans are just awesome here price is little high but the leafy vegetable is so fresh and the fresh coconut you will get just in 99 cent which is awesome. I love this place all time favorite

It has a lot of stuff. All the departments are well stocked. We found a good variety of fresh fish too, priced reasonably. The place is clean and well maintained. We would go again.

My first time there. Store was great and food was very good! Low rating is because I saw a staff in the women’s bathroom who didn’t wash her hands after blowing her nose AND using the bathroom. 😷🤢 Especially during a pandemic. Doesn’t make me feel comfortable buying stuff from there after seeing that staff not wash her hands.

They had everything I want, the Cashier and the young lady putting my groceries was extremely pleasant and care about me as if I was the only Customer in HMart, the Food is excellent and when I was getting the shopping 🛒 cart a young gentleman help me, that is rear these days 👏👍

I was at the store doing gig work, I asked several people, for help. The first being a pantry manager. Said he was to busy to help me. Wasted my time, while Im also working. So I went to the front and asked for the store manager, the store manager isnt in the store. Every department has its own manager. I spoke with 3 maybe 4 of them. Each one told me, follow instructions. The manager at the front spoke in Korean to another person not knowing that I understood what she was saying, and I dont care to repeat what was said.Not one of them thought what they were doing was rude. I fully intend to report them all

Best Asian market in Houston! We drive from Spring to pick up our favorite groceries. We also go to eat authentic foods.

Food is trash, I bought product that didnt even last. Berries to be exact. Their household kitchen area is way out of price like the Tupperware.

Such an blessing to have so many options in the store from cooked foods, fresh seafood, pork belly options, dry foods, and so on and so on. I simply LOVE it here. There are also membership rewards options, too. I cant wait to go back and eat. Thats because Im a 30 mile round-trip drive away from the store.

Absolutely worst customer service ever! If I could I would leave a 0.01 🌟.. I spoke to 5 department manager, all said to busy. And refused to leave or help with anything that I asked for help with. Literally to busy is what they said. If they even understood what I said to them.

I love H-mart. The only reason for 4 stars is that they dont have many choices compared to the ones Ive been to in other cities, like Dallas and Atlanta.

One of my favorite markets. Very large selection of goods and fresh foods. Huge seafood section with fresh, live, and frozen options. Food court where you can get a made top order snack.

Like H Mart better than 99 ranches. The wide selection of produce, vegan food and sea food. The bakery is great also. Its always clean and the price is good. Highly recommended.

This place is okay as it is a Asian market they have different things that you can not find in regular stores. I go in for bitter melon or I also like to go in to purchase coconut sunflower seeds a lot of times. sometimes I go in for water or fruit just different things like that also if im nearby.The cashiers on normally pretty nice inside in the customers also.

Really nice Asian market. Love the marinated sliced ribeye that we bring home to cook. Just wish we lived closer to take advantage of the meat and fish.

Fresh pandan leaves for $1.49 a bundle. Used to make pandan waffles, was delicious.

The OG hmart of houston. Great selection of groceries, but the place needs some extra loving. Bathrooms are dirty or broken, and tables for the inside restaurants seem to never be wiped down.

Of the two H Marts in the area, this one is the better by far. I spent entirely too much but I found almost everything I wanted. Did not find the frozen gyudon and yakiniku don or the yangnyeom gejang but everything else I found. The produce was nice. Well worth the trip from way down south.

Love this store always get tasty food there. The Korean corn dogs are delicious. I had a scary experience there about some months ago and some Hispanic guy was following me and my niece and was taking pictures. And everyone was very kind and helpful.Love H-Mart I will continue to come here for years to come.

Super H has great produce, including items that are difficult to find in standard grocery stores. Abundant parking, friendly staff, and a food court that has incredible food and a bakery. Its a great spot.

Pretty good for fresh produce and kbbq cuts of meat, some of the more general cuts of meat arent found here though so not a one stop shop

Pretty good selection of Korean groceries. Most of the groceries have labels and directions in English too, so its Introduction to Asian Foods: Easy Mode. They have lots of thinly sliced meats for hotpot and shabushabu. Often you can even get freshly made rice punch, various rice snacks, and cooked supper packs (like a pack of freshly cooked pork belly that includes a couple side dishes). It feels a bit bigger than the Bellaire Blvd location too. Lastly, theyre constantly getting new items, so theres always something worth checking out, even after you think youve tried out all the traditional foods.

A friend brought me here years ago and Ive been wanting to come back. If you love Korean food and culture, this is the place!

I prefer the Blalock location compared to the Bellaire version. Includes a good selection of kimchi and other fermented veggies as well as restaurants inside if you’re in the mood for Korean. The Bellaire location is limited compared to Blalock location.

One of my favorite stores! Fresh fish and vegetables. Good food and everything I need to make good dishes at home. All with decent prices. We drive all the way from East Houston to shop every 2 weeks. Masks are worn, so BONUS!

Last Wednesday I went here,Selections are good but..They didnt give me all of my vegetables that I paid for.There are (3) GUYS IN BLACK SHIRT following me and observing me like Im a thief.When I was checking out, there was a security guard watching me, next to me.Tell me H-MART... It is because I dont wear fancy clothes or I shop too long?I was so happy to buy natto but this experience is too horrible..First and Last and also all of my family and friends will never come back here.

I like this store a lot. It caters to the Korean community but also includes Chinese, Japanese and some others as well. Lately Ive seen some Spanish products as well. The prices vary like any store but are pretty reasonable. If you decide to go there often be sure to sign up for their stores discount card as it comes in handy.They keep it clean, organized and the staff is friendly.

Cool store to check out for Korean and other Asian groceries if youre in the area. The aisles are small for my large American person but nonetheless its clean, organized but a bit overpriced. I always drop in when Im in Houston.

Be aware of H Mart precooked product. I bought their vegetable pancake and tried to eat them. But instead enjoying the food, I found non edible things in my mouth. See the photos I attached. Cant believe the biggest asian supermarket chains quality is this much dirty and low.*Update : I write to H Mart customer service about this problem as well, but nobody replied to me. Now, they answered through Google reviews that they need the receipt and members card. I emailed right away with scanned photos of recipe and card. I will update later if they reply.

Loved the store! Ive been before, but its been a while. Now, due to COVID 19, the store mandates that everyone wear a mask inside and maintain social distancing. This is just like Costco! I saw many shoppers following these roles and being respectful to one another.Ill definitely be coming back for my future trips to the grocery store.

I love this store ! ! ! I was able to find the Boa Buns that i could not find in my local markets, they are not only a supermarket but they are like a mini walmart where you can find a bakery, different restaurants and home goods as well. I would love if they had a location near me. The staff are really friendly and of course, not only they speak English, Korean and Spanish as well.

Found my favorite Pho place inside Korean market!! Had Sum Hah-thentic soup and this very generous portion of bbq meat for a good 👍 price

Love this clean store. They have really fresh produce, preseasoned meat and many Asian household goods and food specialties. Inside you can find independently run businesses like the food court (mostly Korean, but theres a Pho place), a bakery, makeup shop, optical, etc.While this and the Bellaire location both carry the same products, this location undoubtedly has the best food court.

Always a fun place to visit. They have most everything one would need for Asian cuisine.

Bought some salted flounder fillets yesterday said it was best by june 6th ROTTEN had been infescted by a parasite and when i called to complain they said to BRING IT IN. No way i was gonna bring in that smelly fish, no way i was gonna keep it in my fridge that long
