Friend Lumber is now Hudson Lumber. Had everything I was looking for and was directed by an associate immediately after entering store. In the past you had to seek help versus now being greeted as you enter. Pricing still on high side but item pricing is up everywhere.

Great place to get propane. Right now is $15.00 to fill a 20 pounds tank. If you need a new propane tank you can get it here i believe the new tank goes for $30.00 bucks. And if you need to dispose of an old expired tank they also take that for a $15.00 service fee. If this was helpful, please Like review!

A real lumber yard. Drive thru the building to pick up lumber. They cut it if requested and load it in your truck.

Was disappointed upon entering the Hudson, NH store where non of their employees were wearing masks with the COVID-19 virus going on...As my wife and I entered the store, there was a sign posted for customers to wear masks and the employees were not! There were about five employees stationed at the counter and when they observed my wife and I wearing masks they started discussing wearing masks.One employee commented that he doesn’t wear masks in businesses that request or require them and if they ask him to wear one, he opts to leave? What a great comment to hear when their store main entrance asks Friend Lumber customers to wear a mask.They didn’t have the paint we were looking for, so we went to Lorden’s in Pepperell, MA where THEIR employees were all wearing masks and had the pInt color we were loooking for.I’ll opt to use Lordon’s Lowe’s or Home Depot in the future.

Best lumber yard around. They also have Ben Moore paint and they design and install kitchens and baths. So much more quality than lowes or the depot!Family run and long term knowledgeable staff. Do yourself a favor and go there.

Grumpy Gentleman..... I simply called asking about deck visualization software / plans for Fiberon Decking. I told him that I plan on purchasing ~ 500 sq feet and railing etc my 2 level 500 sq foot deck. So rough estimate I was going to spend approximately $10,000 on PT, Composite Decking, Aluminum Railings, Fasteners, screws etc..When I asked if they would draw up the deck and plans, grumpy gentleman said they only do that after a Deposit!I was like after deposit? Hmmm... Id like to see what the deck would look like.. He then said only after a Deposit.. I was like fine... Ill give my $10,000 to another yard... What a pompous jerk!

Knowledgeable help with any project, good prices and free home delivery. Better quality products than Lowes and Home Depot.

Everything is too expensive. I was in & out in 15 minutes. The kitchen displays that I was looking at are beautiful.

Your vehicle is basically a shopping cart, you drive into building, stop and pick what you need, when youre finished,at exit,pull up to window, pay for materials.They sell propane also,$.75/pound.(make sure the date is ok)Closed on Sunday.Theres another Friend in Burlington, but the one I go to is in Hudson NH,NO SALES TAX
