I was charged a transfer of information fee when I bought a new phone. I was told by the staff that I could contact Verizon and ask for them to remove this fee as it was a new policy. I contacted Verizon and they told me that the store was an independent go wireless store and it was their fee. I am disappointed with the dishonesty of the store.I am following up on my review. I was contacted by Amir. He did listen to my concern and sent me a Verizon gift card for the transfer fee that I was charged by the store as described above. He did apologize for the bad experience I had at the store. I appreciate him reaching out and taking ownership for the mistake.Thank you.
Major kudos to this store that was able to deliver a great experience in outfitting me with great equipment, transferring data, making me feel safe amidst the COVID19 pandemic. This was done with knowledge, skill, and efficiency. Fortunately I was helped by a store manager. Another fortunate item is that they carried an item that I had researched.
Amir went above and beyond. When I walked into the store Amir politely greeted me. He provided the best customer service experience my mom and I came so I could get my upgrade and he mentioned how we could save on unlimited plan so we switched and he helped me put my screen and case on. He also taught me how to use the newest iPhone because I had the older iPhone 6s Plus so happy with my upgrade and new camera. Amir thanks for All your help and for all the time you spent with us. That is the best customer service Ive received. He offered his business card in case I had any questions later after leaving the store.Definitely one of the best experiences Ive had at a Verizon store.I wanted to give him a tip but he wouldnt take it! Give this man a raise! 👏
I purchased GoAdvantage Premium package from a Go Wireless store on Adams & Brookhurst which was closed due to CV-19. As a member, I was informed that Im entitled to receive unlimited Smartphone Screen Protector replacements for FREE, for the lifetime of your membership.I got a replacement Motorola Z2 Force and needed a new screen protector but when I went to this new location on Beach & Atlanta, the rep told me that the membership expired after 2 years. Store manager Amir indicated that they didnt even have it in their store but had texted his Regional Mgr for authority to order one for me and would call me asa he heard back from his boss. In the meantime, I had called Verizon Customer service and was referred back to the store.To my surprise, Amir called me the next day to inform me that he had okd to order the new screen protector for me and would call me when it arrived. A few days later, Amir followed up with a call to let me know he received the item & he could install it for me anytime I was ready to bring the phone in. Unfortunately, it was not the right one for my new model so without hesitation, Armir reordered not just one but a set of 3 for me and installed it for me promptly. Now I have 2 extra ones for future needs.Amir has gone above and beyond his duty as a store manager to make sure his Verizon Customer is happy regardless of what the situation is. Thank you Amir for being professional yet patient and courteous. I would definitely recommend his store and will come back for any future needs.
I’m currently waiting in line. I have been for almost an hour now. One of the customers is elderly and unable to work a phone. A check to Verizon—you need to have a policy on how long a rep is to give an educational class on every inch of a phone to a person. Maybe private, personal classes for the elderly. But to keep other customers flowing and happy, as is it just doesn’t work. These folks need classes for personal one-on-one assistance.

I definitely recommend this location for all your wireless needs. Amir went above and beyond to help me choose the right plan and phones for my family. I really appreciate him calculating everything for us and making sure we are happy with our new phones and the great deal we got with Verizon. He was extremely patient with me and made sure to explain every single detail thoroughly. Since the phones were not available in the colors and memory that we needed, he had to place an order and the phones were there in the store in a timely manner. when I went to the store to pick them up, it was very quick to set up everything and get me out the door. I believe he was the store manager and that in my opinion sets out a good role model for the employees that he manages so I will definitely be going back to this location as well as referring more people to Amir, so they can also experience what great customer service feels like.
Priscilla Matthews, store manager for Verizon Go Wireless, is an excellent employee. Her Knowledge of the smart phone is amazing. I praise her for her patience with my lack of tech no-how. I purchased my first smart phone because of her help and ability to explain things to me in a way I could understand.

Had a great experience. Sarahs customer service went way above and beyond to make sure that my new phone was set up correctly and ready to use. I am very appreciative of her efforts to make it a great experience, and I am very glad to have upgraded my phone. The other employees at this Beach & Atlanta location were very helpful as well.

Best experience ever! I went to couple different locations around Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa and they were all trying to up sell me something. When I walked in to this store, I was greeted with the manager of the store. His name was Amir Rahimi, he started with asking me different question to find the best for my daughter and I. After couple minutes based on my budget and my preferences he suggested us to get iPhones. For my device protection he recommended Verizon protection plan and the screen protector program that they have. He also transferred all of my data from my old phone to my new phone. I had a best experience ever, I would recommend Amir Rahimi and I will come to this location from now on.
Completely misleading. Said they didnt do hard inquiry on credit. They ran it twice and wiped out my credit. Repoted fraud and they sent letter to correct. Still credit dropped 17 points. The said free phones, first bill had both phones being billed on monthly bill Said it takes months for credit to show up. Tried to bill me $205 first bill. Bill is supposed to be $85. Avoid at all cost.Go to metro PCs $40 per line unlimited.
The staff at the store really are not very knowledgeable. And they have a hard time explaining all the promotions and plans.I came in to try to add a line to my service and wasted 30 minutes and they couldnt help me. I had to go to another Verizon store on Adams who wear 10 times more customer focused, knowledgeable, and friendly than this store.
Sam went out of his way to help us and went above and beyond to help us get a new phone that worked. I will continue to use this Verizon store for all my cellular needs!

The area manager called me in regard to the problem I had. He suggest I return to the store and talk to Priscilla the store manger. I did. She is a very nice person and very knowedgeable and corrected the problem with my phone in a very short time. Also arranged to get the phone that I wanted. So I give the store 5 stars and Priscilla more than 5 stars.Went to Verzion at 21014 Beach Blvd looking for a new Samsung phone. I wanted to see the A50. They did not have any on display but had one in stock. I asked to see the phone. I was told that the phone was boxed up and they could not show the phone to me.I had another question about my old phone. I asked if I was able to create folders and put the pictures in the folders. They were in the gallery section. The woman said yes. She showed me how how I should do it. All the photos went from the gallery to the photos and commingled with my wifes photos. NOT a good thing.Nssdless to say I am not a happy camper.Well I received a email from Verizon with a phone number to call. I called and left a message with my name and phone number. So I have been waiting for a return call. NO SUCH LUCK. So much for customer service all (customer service????) more like lip work.

Excellent service, these guys helped me big time with an issue i was having with my prepaid devices. Service was quick and the agent stayed with my problem until it was resolved.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is by far the worst company I have ever purchased a phone from, or have ever had to deal with.I went in to this store to upgrade to an iPhone 7... and an associate named Ashley told me that they had a special going on that if you purchased an iPhone you got a free tablet. She proceeded to say, Ill go get your tabletWell I wasnt in the market for a tablet and I told her I was not interested in that tablet. She said she could get me an iPad delivered to the store the next morning so I could get it before I left town. I finally agreed because, hey, free iPad.I get my iPhone, she never shows me a reciept for the iPad only one showing what I paid for that day (the upgrade to iPhone) and she sends me on my way.I get to the store the next morning and she has my bag out and hands it to me, not saying anything or showing me any sort of receipt. I get home(out of state) and realize my bill is $60 more than it should be.I proceed to call the store and talk to the oh so lovely manager, Jason. He tells me to call customer support and figure it out. I call, they say they have no idea what happened because they do not have a deal going on.3 WEEKS go by of me calling the store 4-5 times A DAY. Every single time Jason is busy. In a meeting helping someone ect. 3 WEEKS.He finally answers and tells me what I can do and that he can take it off of my bill if I send it back.2 MORE WEEKS go by of the same old stuff that the super nice and super professional Jason has been up to and he finally gives me all of the info I need.I sent in my stuff, and it literally took almost TWO DAYS for them to realize my iPad was there.Ashley and Jason, I truly hope you read this because you two are the worst employees of any store I have ever been to.Ashley, you lied to me and did NOT do your job correctly.Jason, you are a coward who needs to man up and be a professional adult.Absolutely ridiculous.

Its a Verizon store where most of what you can do is purchase a new phone or sign up for Verizon. Last I checked, they dont offer several helpful services, such as contact retrieval from old phones.

This verizon store is a joke. I walked in seeking to handle something super basic with my bill, and they told me they didnt have the means to do anything about it, I would have to drive 15 minutes away to another verizon store to have it handled. I got to the other verizon store and they literally picked up the phone, spoke with support for 30 seconds, problem solved. Why did I have to drive to another location when all they had to do was make a phone call?

This is a retailer or reseller, not an official Verizon store. They will charge fees for things that Verizon will do for free (like give a SIM card). YMMV.
