Absolutely, one of the best high-end antique shops in Alabama. Youll never meet a more warm and inviting environment than right here. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for your satisfaction. The owner, Ken, is one of the most knowledgeable and kind persons that I have met in the industry. If you are in, or near Huntsville, then his shop is a must see. The antiques are exquisite and I can honestly say that I have furnished at least a third of my home with his items.

I am a frequent estate sale attender. I have been to Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville as well as many other smaller towns. I understand the estate sale rules. All estate sale groups have the most gracious and helpful assistance until I met Ken Rivenbark. I can’t think of a man so full of himself than Ken.I watch estate sales. With items that really interest me, I usually have to drive a great distance. Considering that, I find it necessary to arrive within two to three hours before sales start. This ensures that my travel time is not in vane.Monday, December 17 was no exception. I arrived at seven for a ten o’clock sale. Ken came out and in a very “snippy” way and let me know that because my bag was at the door didn’t assure me to be first in line. I smiled and replied that I understood. It wasn’t what he said, it was how he said it. The man had never met me before but his attitude was so condescending. As the time arrived to open, Ken stepped out and gave out the “rules”. Considering this was a small house, he informed the attendees of only five at a time could be let into the small room which was the room that all had to enter. I go in first and walked straight to the item I was there for which was several boxes of vintage Christmas ornaments. As I carefully placed the ornaments in the large tote, I’m talking less than two minutes had passed when Ken yells out over the people, which by the way was more than five, “You’re going to have to take your items to the front so they can hold them for you because you’re going to break them.” Are you kidding me? I’m not wasting my time to show up and break what I came for. Not only that, again it was his demeanor. I’ve heard parents talk to their children in a better manor. So again I said, “I know”. I turned to walk through the flood of people. As I got to the hallway, which was packed with people going in both directions, Ken came up behind me and said, “Keep going and get to the front”. I said, “I’m going, just chill!” His response was, “My sale, my rules!”At that moment I should have taken the ornaments, set them down and leave. Hindsight I wish I had. His rushing and the amount of the crowd just seemed to be overwhelming.I finally get to the front and tell the ladies about what Ken did. They were very understanding and apologized profusely. They said he was like that and it wasn’t something they agreed with. Two other ladies who were attending the sale heard him and left. As they walked out they told me how they heard him talk to me.As I think of it now, I can’t imagine how Ken would react Ken if someone spoke to him the way he spoke to me. As I can see it he feels as though he is a prima Donna. Again I say he is pretty full of himself. If I could put a review on the Estate Sale app., it would not be good.Let me sum Ken Rivenbark up. He is Disgusting!
