I could not have had a more pleasant experience. I brought my vehicle in for a windshield crack repair in the middle of the afternoon, without an appointment. The place was packed, but I was taken care of right away. Throughout the entire process, they were forthcoming with what to expect, walked me through the claim process, someone was available to keep me informed, and I felt like a valued customer. I was in and out in about an hour. Even if my insurance company did not have them on their preferred list for such repairs, I would go back every time. You cant go wrong with Safelite. 10 stars all the way!!!

I scheduled my service and took the first available appointment, which was 2 weeks out. I didnt complain or ask for a different time. I accepted it and waited my turn. I get a call the EVENING of the day before informing me that my glass didnt make it out of the warehouse and wouldnt arrive in time for my appointment the next day. Luckily, they caught me at the gym and I was tired already. I accepted the Saturday appointment and was told I would get a call between 8am -9am by the technician. Well, I receive a email around 3am -4am saying my appointment time was between 8am - 5pm that day. I explained to the lady ( maybe in a slightly raised tone) that this unacceptable. That I had waited for my original appointment and it wasnt my fault the warehouse had failed to ship my glass the day before the scheduled appointment. I was assured I would be getting a call from the technician and my appointment time would kept. Well here we are and I am still waiting. In the future I will find a different company to handle and glass repairs. I have a problem with a company that doesnt honor their commitment. I didnt ask them for a time. They told me a time.
Last week, I arrive to be told there was a scratch on my replacement windshield. I live 30 mins away, but hey things happen, NBD, schedule for one week out, but please call me on the morning of to be sure the new one isnt cratched:I arrive today, ask to view the windshield, and guess what? Huge scratch.Doug seems to take ownership of situation while the bossy blonde chick in the office pretends not to hear me when I ask her why she’d not called me about the replacement windshield.For now, 2 star, due only to Doug.I will update, after my THIRD trip!
May 2, 2021 update - it was not the brake light that was leaking, as Doug said was 100% the issue. It was the rear window as he was told. Had my window replaced elsewhere without issues regarding the silicone and the leak is gone.April 17, 2021- Made an appointment for their earliest time and it was over a month away. We were over 2 hours away and the glass was a special order, per Safelite. I called 3 times before we arrived to verify the glass was there and if they needed anything else from me. I spoke with Krista, twice and also Doug. Each time, I was told no. I stressed every time I called how far we lived. When I originally made the appointment, I was asked what service I needed. I told the rep that the rear window had started leaking after debris from a recent tornado had damaged the seal. Every time it rains, the rear floorboard fills with water. With the next available appointment being over a month away and the next week having rain every single day, we put silicone in the area that the water was coming in to avoid further flooding. When I dropped the truck off, I was told that they would call me when it was finished. Fine. Doug called me back and said the brake light was 100% the reason for the water leak. I told him we were getting that replaced because the storm had cracked it, but I still wanted the window replaced. He said they would start on it. 1.5 hours later, I get a call from Doug stating that they cannot replace the glass because we had used silicone and that silicone reacts with whatever sealant they use. He said that they could not guarantee that it would not leak in the future. When we arrived to pick the truck up, my husband went inside and spoke with Krista. He asked her if he was to remove the silicone and then they could replace it and she replied with, Youll need to find another shop. They knew from day one that the truck was being brought in due to a leak and with the current weather and constant rain we had and were having, thisshould have set off a red flag that possibly a temporary sealant might have been used. No one at any 3 phone calls, asked if the window had been previously sealed, if we have made any temporary fixes, etc. before arriving.My husband and I both missed a day of work, 4 hours round trip, $80 in gas, had to kill 2 hours while they were looking at it, only to be turned away. Very disappointed.
Could be better. 3 weeks to get an appointment only to find out that they could not do the work. Might be okay if you dont have complications.
I had my back glass and windshield replaced yesterday by Safelite and they were great! The guy that did the job was Garrett, he did the job in a very timely manner, and was very professional about everything. I highly recommend them!
100% would recommend! My drivers side window got shattered so I set up an appointment for the next morning. Dropped my car off early while I ran errands, and they had it fixed BEFORE my original appointment time! Everyone was so friendly and it was an easy “in and out” situation. Will definitely come back if I need anything done with the glass on my car!
Stellar experience today. Had an appointment at 4 and fully expected to have to come get it the next day, being 1 hour until closing time. Instead the guys were enthusiastic to get started and I was out of there in 30 minutes. I wish I remembered their names. 2 for 2 on excellent service over the years.
They are so friendly and professional here! They did an excellent job on my windshield replacement today. They started at 2pm and had my windshield done and ready to go by 345! I will definitely recommend them to anyone needing a service and will be back if I ever need anything done again as well!
Safelite replaced my windshield a week or two ago. A day or two after it was replaced I attempted to use my windshield fluid and the drivers side was malfunctioning. I understand this may be part of the warranty (as it was working fine prior to the windshield replacement) but I CANNOT GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE. I have emailed and have attempted to call many times. It is impossible to get anyone to answer my question about fixing the obstructed windshield wiper fluid dispenser... which was obviously damaged in some way during the windshield replacement.
I had a really good experience here. Everyone I spoke with was pleasant and professional, even at eight oclock in the morning. Anyone near my car had on PPE. Two hours was the recommended amount of time necessary but they made it seem super simple and were done in about an hour. You cant even tell anything was changed except the lack of a crack in my windshield. Well done and I am very satisfied!

Im giving Safelite South Parkway only three stars due to all but TWO employees not masked inside or outside and not social distancing. 😡On the upside, the mobile tech did an EXCELLENT job on the ding in my windshield. I had been planning to give my daughter in Atlanta my 2006 Camry for Christmas since she doesnt have a personal vehicle (only a work issued vehicle). The tech, Sam, not only fixed the ding, but he also cleaned the lenses on my headlights for FREE! We had a lovely conversation about the 2006 Camry (he has one also). It was a very nice interaction with a lovely stranger who literally made my day! AND he wore a mask the entire time! ❤️
The service was fast and friendly. The store was clean and the staff was very professional, but I was kind of disappointed that the chip in my windshield was still quite obvious. I know these things arent perfect, but I was hoping for better.

I understand that this is a first come first serve business and thats fine but when the person upfront goes to the back to inquire for you about the wait time and comes back to tell you nobodys back there and she doesnt know where they are thats not a good way to run a business in my opinion.. So you drop the car off and they tell you to come back in an hour and a half but you get back they then proceed to tell you it hasnt been touched yet and still they dont see anyone in the shop.. They really dont seem to care about your time schedule ..The lady up front is not very friendly nor informative and has a its done when its done type attitude..well Im done...unless you can have employees who are curtious, knowledgeable, and care about your business it will not continue to thrive..You may want to replace some folks

Useless. Cant schedule online due to an error. Cant talk to anyone because they force you to schedule online. The phone line just takes you in circles. Submitted info online for a call over a week ago and still havent got a call.

Tried to call and they only do business via their website so I went to Graf Auto Glass, who actually talks to customers.
I have used them twice now once for a chip and once for a full replacement. Both experiences were excellent. They were quick and very friendly. My car has some sensors at the windshield and it was reinstalled precisely. Im very pleased with this company.

Called them but told me to go on the website for an appointment which was fine and figured it would be quicker to get it done at the shop but they could not get me an appointment till like 2 weeks later so I opted out for mobile service that was available the next day afternoon. I assume a sub contractor guy!? for Safelite asked me to see if there is any cover over the vehicle since it was raining. (The app stated that there should not be any cars around or object above the vehicle...) I told him it is in the middle of the parking lot. He suggested to make another appointment next week Tuesday (I was thinking...what if it rained that day !?) Basically, I told him to give me my money back and I will take my business else where! What is the mobile unit hood for if they can’t replace the windshield in rain or snow for that matter. I guess they don’t want much business that bad!?

First time using Safelite and will be the last time I use this location, waited 16 days after initially calling Geico to book an appointment to replace a damaged windshield, drive from Arab to Huntsville on the day of the appointment and when I got there the replacement windshield was damaged with a large 8 scratch on the drivers side. Was told I could pay an extra fee to have Safelite come out in a couple days to replace it or wait another 10 days for the next available shop appointment. Sorry, but since Safelite was at fault they should have made accommodations to make it right, since they refused Im taking my business elsewhere and recommend avoiding this Huntsville location at all costs.

If you want to have to have your windshield replaced multiple times due to their own error and then two years later find out they failed to prime your windshield and you now have major scratches and rust, then use this safelite.
I had a small dink in my windshield that was smaller than my pinkie nail and when the guy came to fix it he created a huge crack! The guy that came looked like he had just rolled out of bed and I felt unsafe to be alone with him. He mumbled his responses and never clearly stated what he was going to do to my car. When he later walked up to my door, I thought he was done instead he said the repair didnt work. I just looked at him because I didnt know what that meant. I asked him what went wrong and he said that the stuff he put on the dink exploded and he then proceeded to mumble the rest of his explanation. He asked if I wanted to replace the windshield. I learned that I would have to pay for it out of my pocket! My car would have been fine for over a year if he had correctly fixed it. Instead I have to change my windshield in the next few days because of Safelite! We called the customer service number and they were really rude and not helpful whatsoever. I will never use Safelite again.

The place was wonderful.They were very warm & welcoming.They had a very, nice waiting area, with comfortable chairs, a cozy area with a TV, magazines, books, even toys for children.Their restroom was quite imaculate & so clean.They offered their customers free coffee, cold sodas, & water, plus snacks.They provided a marvelous service.The technicians were truly knowledgeable, incredibly accommodating, very friendly.We were treated so well & in such a kind way.They make their customers feel right at home & valued.I highly recommend them.

I scheduled a same day appointment. I called to let them know I was running late and that wasnt a problem. I only waited a few minutes before they started the repair on the crack in my windshield. I did not verify my arrival or departure time, but it definitely took less than an hour for the completion of repairs. The front office person was very friendly and engaging. The technician took the time to explain the type of crack in my windshield and what they would do to repair. The end result was a much improved appearance and peace of mind that the crack wouldnt spread. I would definitely use Safelite again!
I went in for a small chip repair. Less than 30 days later it has cracked about 1/4 of the way across my windshield. Their warranty states “we guarantee that the repaired portion of the windshield will not crack further”. But they will only refund you the amount you paid. They do not guarantee a replacement. So I went in wanting a repair and because of the work they did, I am now out hundreds of dollars more. I DO NOT recommend them. Give someone else your business.
The good news is that my windshield was replaced in a timely manner, and doesnt leak. However, the technician chipped the paint on the edge of the hood, scratched the leather on the steering wheel, and applied the touch-up primer on the metal above the windshield. When I contacted Safelite, they were apologetic and promised to fix it, then... radio silence. The two appointment dates they gave me were missed. That really irritates me. These guys arent professional, period, despite the nice advertising and fancy trucks.
This is a hugh gimmick!!! The tech will come and state and I quote the crack may still show but it will be much less noticeable. I can deal with that verses the crack getting worse in time and less cosmetic issues is okay. I paid $167 for one little not even a pencil head size chip and 1 and 1/2 inch crack to be filled. The pencil size one had improvement even though there are small hairline cracks around it now but the other looks like he didnt do anything. So what the gimmick is is you are not satisfied with the result they will thke the price of the repair off of a NEW WINDSHIELD. If the tech and or the wording in the advertisement has stated...by preforming this procedure the cosmetic visualization will likely not change in appearance at all, I would for $167 thought twice about getting this done and simply got the windshield replaced once the crack got to that point. Then I called the repair tech back to see how this could be fixed and he said there was nothing he could do because the resin has already cured and again, if you are not happy you can always put the price of the repair towards a new windshield which is ultimately their goal. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS!!!!

When you are having a really bad day they help make it much better with their helpful mannerisms and genuine concern for making your day better.Had my car towed there and they had it diagnosed and fixed same day. Great service for customers.

Took a bit over an hour to get windshield replaced. Staff was nice and helpful. Snacks and Keurig coffee machine helped pass the time though. If you have deductible over $500 you will most likely be paying out of your own back pocket since insurance wont kick in to assist in payment. If you have them meet you at a location other than their store there is a minimal fee. Windshield looks great. I would use them again.

VERY DISAPPOINTEDAfter scheduling a replacement window, they contacted me (the day before appointment) to tell me that they couldnt keep the appointment because it might rain. That is something I should have been informed of AT LEAST 2 days before my appointment (So I could arrange a covered area.). So now Im stuck waiting for the money to be returned to my account (5-7 business days) so that I can schedule another appointment. 😠 😠 😠 WHICH WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE WITH THEM. Very unprofessional the way this happened.Note to company:Relying upon customers to have things (carports, awnings, etc.) which allow you to perform your service IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS STRATEGY, maybe you could optimize your appointment calendar ( 😠 And customer relations.) by equipping your mobile fleet with pop-up canopys. Just a suggestion.
My windshield needed to be replaced. The staff was so helpful on the phone, and I was scheduled exactly when I had time. They came to my house ON TIME, and called before they came. The windshield was installed perfectly. No problems whatsoever, and the man that installed it was top-notch. Professional, cheerful, kind, and efficient. He seemed like he truly LOVED what he does. What a blessing.

Customer service so good I think they may be from some other planet. When I recently took my car in, the technician came into the waiting area to sadly tell me that my new windshield was scratched and hed need to order another one. This annoyed me since Ive seen other reviews mention the same thing. How often can that happen (I asked him)?! He said they send one back to the manufacturer pretty much every day but I could have a look if I wanted. Well...the scratch (I hesitate to even call it that) is literally less than a centimeter long and the depth of a spider web (a small spider too). Most places would install it without hesitation and most people would not notice in a hundred years. I told him to install it. He gave me a discount without being asked. This is a fairly new car and I am known for being picky, but I am also not used to service people giving that much of a damn or basically having standards that exceed my own. There are not many people who, if they tell me something is done right, I would just take their word for it, but these guys I would.Beyond that, the utterly positive, happy, almost buoyant tone of everyone in the office, and the pride with which my tech went back into the shop to get a rag and some cleaner to wipe up a little spec of adhesive that he noticed on the windshield while he was reminding me to stay out of the carwash for 48 hours...Im not going to say I dont believe any of the negative reviews here but they must have happened in some alternate reality from the one I visited.
Used this Safelite facility three times in the last two years, and they have always done a wonderful job and exceeded expectations, including today. Highly recommended for windshields, windows, rearview mirrors. Good quality workmanship, on-time, and prompt.
I first used Safelite January/February 2017, then a few weeks ago, and Auston came out today. All 3 times the guys were very nice, polite and quick! I have had them come to my house and it’s unbelievably convenient! I would recommend them to everyone!

Will be contacting the company first thing tomorrow. Replaced a windshield in the passenger door earlier this year. They did not replace or restore the plastic vapor barrier nor insulation in the door. Today we found out it has been leaking. MOLD! On all the paperwork in the door storage area. How dangerous. This is not acceptable. Been leaking for a while - we smelled something a couple of months ago and took us this long to identify. Frustrated and disappointed. Fixing a mess like this is not easy and all of our owners manuals are destroyed.

I contacted my insurance company very soon after a small rock hit my windshield while traveling on the interstate at night. It caused a small pair of spider cracks that could be easily covered by a quarter. I received a confirm for Jan 18th letting me know that James would be out to my workplace to fix my windshield. James called me the day of letting me know he was a half hour out and was very nice to call 10 minutes out so I could meet him in the parking lot at work. I met him in the parking lot and unlocked the vehicle so he could work. I then went back inside. About a half hour later he called me and commented that I wouldnt be happy. We discussed and James informed me that when suction was applied a crack started in the windshield close to the cracks. I went out to look. First I want to comment that the thought I had in mind was that once filled with the polymer (or whatever it is) that I would barely be able to see where the crack was or maybe not at all. This was just a dream as the area looked the same as it did + had the addition of the new crack. I did not blame James and decided to live with it. He said he would give me a quote for a new windshield just in case. He did give me the quote. I told him that I would live with it and may replace it someday. The crack is not in my line of sight. I made it clear that I was not replacing the windshield. Well, it looks like James did not remove the query or flag it as a quote only and I received a call from Andrew the next day letting me know he was on his way to replace my windshield! I let him know that I did not request a replacement and he was good with it. He said that the tech much not have removed the request after he requested the quote. A last comment: I mentioned the trouble with the crack and was told that it could be various things including the temperature of the windshield compared to the outside air. It was a cold day (high 30s). Well, if the temperature has the potential of causing a problem that is up to the professional to tell me! I would have brought the car to the Safelite facility so it could be temperature controlled. I did ask about the temperature at the time and was told that he had repaired cars before when he had to brush snow off the windshield to repair it. That made me comfortable that temperature would not be an issue. Thanks for allowing me to comment.
Your online prices are VERY misleading. I wanted everyone to know that a small pee size chip that takes 10 minutes for repair, starts at $129.99. I PAID 138.40 for 10 mins.VERY OVER PRICED. I WAS OF TOWN AND NEEDED THE REPAIR.Called the corporate office. They were not willing to offer any discount. Take your car else where or get a quote before repair! SAFELITE WILL NOT GET ANYMORE OF MY BUSINESS.The shop was super friendly. Levi the tech was helpful and took 10 minutes. This review has no reflection on them.
They were very nice and tried everything they could to fix the crack but it was just spread out to much to cover all the way. But Im satisfied for now. Ill probably have to eventually get a new windshield. Least they stand behind the work, and if it cracks again then what I paid goes towards the new windshield.
Just had my wind shield replaced by Safelite! They did a great job...good customer service and quick! Also since I was quoted through insurance my price was very competitive cant complain about that! Hopefully my windsheild doesnt get busted up again but if it does I know who to call! THANKS! 😊
Arrived the first time with the wrong windshield. Scheduled again for a couple weeks later and they didnt show; only at the end of the installation period did I receive a message. Finally got the new windshield installed on the third try. Personnel were friendly and competent, however, missing multiple days of work for their mistakes without compensation is unacceptable.

Today I had my windshield replaced and as soon as they said it was done, I walked outside and saw that something was not right. They installed an aftermarket windshield and stripping on my bmw and not OEM which is not a big deal but the weather stripping does not look anything like the original. There is now a huge gap all the way around the windshield that was not originally there. I pointed it out to the technician and he told me that it isn’t going to leak and that he has been doing this for 25 years. Not only do I not like the way it looks, it seems like the driver side sits higher than the passenger like the glass is not a perfect fit. I guess I will wait and see if it leaks but still not very happy with the workmanship. I went through my insurance company to file this claim and safelite was their recommendation. Should have just taken it to the dealership or somewhere else.

The two gentlemen in the shop (one was Taron, wish I had caught the other mans name) were super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Overall I couldn’t believe how easy the entire process was, between scheduling it all online, and the in-shop experience. I’ve had a rough week and my experience at Safelite turned my whole week around!
We contacted our insurance company and setup an appointment with Safelite AutoGlass to have my wifes windshield replaced. A strange noise became apparent in the vehicle after the windshield replacement. The noise was explained when the dealership found a large screwdriver type pick that was left in the dash cowl area. In addition, the dealership reported that several several clips had been left out of the installation. Dealership also stated that there could have been additional damage to vehicle components due to the large pick rolling around loose. The insurance company reported this to Safelite AutoGlass and they agreed to pay for the repair. Although, we continue to get the run around in actually receiving confirmation that it will be paid. Safelite AutoGlass requests additional information each time we submit the dealership reimbursement receipts. The reimbursement is not necessarily the point of this review. The very poor work quality and amount of effort to make this poor work correct has been very disappointing. My efforts to pursue reimbursement and make this right has become more effort than it is worth. Lesson learned.
Just came back with a new windshield that looks great and I couldnt be more pleasantly surprised with the great customer service. Its been a long time since I have felt valued by sharing my business with a company and the bonus of all exterior windows being cleaned along with my floorboards was a nice touch.

They ordered the wrong windshield for my car. When they installed the wrong windshield, they broke my rearview mirror housing. This incorrect windshield affects my lane assist, so it wont work correctly until the correct windshield is in place. After a week or so the correct windshield came in and they rescheduled the appointment. I didnt receive a confirmation email, so I called and they sent one the day before. I received the customary one the day of, saying my technician would arrive between 12 and 5pm. At 4:15pm I called to make sure he was coming. He said he was not coming & that the manager was supposed to call me. Spoke with her next, and she said He was supposed to call me. Neither of them had ever called me. Then they told me the parts had NOT arrived & could not give me a definite on when they would actually install the correct windshield. Now I am supposed to just wait and see if they email or call me. I wasted the entire day of one of my few days off. This entire situation has taken the better part of a month. Safelite is inconvenient, unreliable, and not trustworthy.

Extremely disappointed. I filed a claim with my insurance and Safelite was their recommended vendor, so I chose them to fix my cracked windshield. My first replacement was damaged in transit, which they called to notify me before my scheduled appointment time. My second replacement was damaged, which was discovered by the technician, Michael (Very Nice and Professional), at the scheduled time of service. The third replacement was scheduled to be put it on a Friday afternoon between 12 and 5. The technician called that morning and said it would be after 3 before he would be able to get to my truck. I waited around until 5 before leaving and received a text a 5:06 letting me know that he was not going to be able to make the appointment. The appointment got rescheduled on Monday for that afternoon. The technician called that morning, I was unable to answer the call, attempted to call him back twice, no answer. The technician did not show up Monday either and I never recieved a call or text informing me that he was not coming. Claim was filed on July 24th and August 5th was the last no-show. I gave two stars just because of Michaels professionalism. Ended up using a local service, they were here the next day, on time, and completed the work in under 20 minutes.
Scheduled there by auto insurance for fixing a chip in my windshield. I got in within 5 minutes of my appointment and was out in less than 30 minutes. They fixed the chip well and customer service was good.
Made an appointment for a windshield replacement for Wednesday. They called during the appointment time slot and said they needed to reschedule because they were overbooked. I rescheduled for Friday. Low and behold during my 8-12 time slot Friday I get a call at 1130 - Im sorry, we have two technicians that have this and that going on, excuse, excuse. Guess what people! My time is just as important as yours! Get your act together and run a business and take care of your customers. Im getting another company to take care of my car. Will never waste my time with Safelite again!
Technician was very professional and went above and beyond. Even though I had entered in that I was in a 36 RV with damage to the windshield, the branch did not send him with a ladder. All he had was a 2 step stool. He managed to make it work anyway. I was very impressed. However, I think that when someone schedules an RV in the future, the branch should at least call the customer to find on the height of the damage and send the tech with appropriate climbing equipment.
I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Had to reschedule my first appointment because the tech didn’t come to my house like planned. 2 days after the replacement of my windshield, the molding flew off while driving down the highway. Scared me to death and could have caused an accident. Not once did the company apologize for the incident, but they did admit this is a problem that happens more often than not. Parts were supposed to be ordered for a repair, but never were until I called and followed up days later. Looks like it will be 1-2 weeks before the problem can be fixed for a known issue on their part. Apparently in an effort to save money (even though I paid over $400 for a windshield replacement) they did not replace the molding clips. Customer service is absolutely atrocious. Rude, incompetent, and complete lack of care. I’ve asked to speak to a manager multiple times, but am never allowed to. I’ve wasted 20-30 hours of my life on the phone and waiting for techs for a windshield replacement. Probably the worst customer care company I’ve ever worked with and terrible workmanship. Please save yourself the trouble and headache and use a different company.
Wanted $375 plus tax for my rear windshield. Auto glass now did it for $192 OUT THE DOOR

Set my appt. for chattanooga,TN (77 miles away). Im trying to manage a fleet, DO NOT have time for call center mistakes. Am using a local shop from now on.
USAA uses this company for reasons I will never know. Its been over a month and safelite has brought two wrong windshield and cancelled my last appointment without contacting me to let me know what is going on. I have had zero communication from them but a windshield is on order from what one of their call center employees told me. I have little faith they will order the right windshield a 3rd time....
My car was shot at with a BB gun by someone in my neighborhood. Between Geico and Safelite, theyve both made a very stressful situation very smooth, with no added stress coming from either of them. The guy who came out to take car of my windshield and drivers side window was so sweet, considerate, and efficient. He even called to ask to come out earlier than when my appointment was scheduled. I believe his name was Scott. You guys are so great! Thank you.
