The prices there are great! And Susan is beyond helpful! She was busy and never hesitated to come help with whatever I needed, with a smile on her face. She gave helpful input and did so much heavy lifting it was impressive. She is AMAZING! If you go, look for Susan.

We think Misty did a phenomenal job in providing customer service to us in our tile & floor selection. She is friendly and helpful. We did have a major challenge regarding a bath countertop. While Misty had made contact with Jack, the owner of the Chatanooga firm who does subcontracts for them, evidently due to procedures - and external needless company calls you and just provides you the name & phone number of the Chatanooga firm. Evidently they never made up the work order in Chatanooga because we even had Cabinets to Go call us because Chatanooga had called them to see if they initiated the order. While the young men who came out to measure were in and out within no time (Alabama Kitchen & Bath actually makes a wood template) and took our sink. While trying to trace down our delivery the person standing in for Jack was rude & obnoxious to us on the phone. We then wrote about it to Home Outlet, the interim company, & cc’d Chatanooga so Jack would see it. The guy called back screaming at us, was obnoxious, etc. for “putting his company under the bus’. No apology nor professional customer service. Mike the manager from Home Outlet even tried to call the guy in Chatanooga and he refused to talk to Mike!Highly recommend Home Outlet for flooring & tile, and if you have questions & concerns, contact Mike as he is VERY Customer Service oriented and professional! Misty is sincere in helping her customers. Need a countertop — go to Alabama Kitchen Bath and see Jenni! Deal directly with a company. Need floors installed - contact Green Spaces Home Improvement & ask that Bruce do the job.

My goodness Im so happy that we went there I got my countertops for half the price Lowes or Home Depot wanted and they wanted to install on their self praise God I get the install my own. Im one Happy camper. The workers were extremely nice.

I only gave them 3 because I like the products in their store. However, I would not suggest anyone go in this store if they are trying to be responsible and cautious about the Covid Virus. You see, none of the employees were wearing masks and apparently thought it was quite funny as the lady laughed when my mother asked her if you work here, why arent you wearing a mask? If you can find what you want in the store, go for it. Nice selection of doors, cabinets, flooring, etc. BUT if you want to order something from there, you had better be prepared to wait for it (thought theyll tell you 2-3 weeks). I have now ordered three different things from them, and not a single thing has come in anywhere close to the time the told me. You simply can not plan a project around them fulfilling their end of the deal. One of their vendors seems especially bad (Heritage) for cabinets. Turns out they sent Heritage the order and they either lost it or ignored it. So they put it on rush - going to do it that day. A week and a half after it was promised that time I got it. Excuse that time was that their shipping companies were overloaded. That last thing I ordered isnt time sensitive, though it is the very last thing of a project. It is the matching engineered stone sides for a vanity I got from them (which turns out to be warped by the way!). Last time I called - about two weeks after the 2-3 weeks - they said they were coming from Mexico so didnt know when theyd be in. Seems they need new suppliers, or they should just stop using them. So dont waste your time ordering - everything is said 2-3 weeks, I havent received anything in less than twicethat, and usually they dont seem to know where anything is or when it iscoming in. They just have pallets arrive, and until someone in the storegoes through them manually they dont have any idea what is on them. A store is who the customer deals with, not the product vendor or the shipping company - but Surplus seems to want to blame everyone but themselves. Dont order from them - youve been warned!

Today was my first time visiting, I immediately felt unwelcome when DON or Dawn walked right past me didn’t ask if I need any help or greet me but was over friendly to the couple behind me. I approached “Don” and asked about a item asked Him give me a second to get the measurements out my phone he walked off as he finally came back to the front I said hey you left me hanging he replied well you were on your phone .. I replied ummm I was just getting the measurements he replied ummhummm when I tell you this was the first time I’ve ever felt racism weather it was because I was a women or it may because of my skin color DON was very rude and unwelcoming and it was clear as day.

Saved about 60% compared to the same basic items at Lowes! Very helpful and coureous staff. Nicely displayed stock. Will be back for certain.

I hate writing bad reviews but my experience with these guys has been pretty terrible. I went for a more expensive flooring product (luxury click vinyl) because they assured me it was outstanding quality. The flooring didnt last a year. I had to rip it all up and replace it with another product because it broke into strips from normal foot-traffic. Then these guys kept stringing me along with having me send pictures for proof (which I did) and they kept talking about a refund etc... Apparently Im still waiting on them to work that out since I havent received a call back for months. This place was a complete waste of time and money (~$2k!). My experience is that they have no issue selling bad quality products and that they DO NOT stand by their products. Save yourself the hassle and money by going somewhere dependable.*Edit: I followed up with them, with contact info, as requested and they never contacted me or responded. Seriously?*

Always like going there. However on this visit l had a hard time finding an employee to help me. There were several employees in the back of the store talking about how to do something on their email site. There wasnt any one at (or around) the front counter.
