I love my Home Depot in south Huntsville. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. Very clean store! Because of this, we have spent a lot of money having new floors put in, new appliances, and all kinds of outdoor machinery.

Home Depot associate Ricky was a great help with my Hotpoint dryer purchase on 10-17-21. I really appreciated all of his help. BUT I was very disappointed with the fact that Home Depot will not allow Veterans discount with an appliance thats on sale. If I had known this up front, my shopping for a new dryer would have been at Lowes. They do allow Veterans discounts on items on sale. This will be considered with future purchases. Thank you.

Excellent service! This is the third Home Depot my husband and I shopped for paint, and by far the best service we’ve received so far. Corey helped us in the paint department, and he was a true professional, very knowledgeable, and gave us above & beyond help with our paint purchase, including information for the future. And all this was us being there right before close! This is where we’ll come first from now on, and we’ll definitely ask for Corey!

Super customer service! Alyssa the customer service rep processed my return without a receipt in a timely and professional manner. Store seemed super clean and well lit. Garden shop had a bunch of stuff but regrettably not what we were looking for. As a stock holder, I was pleased on how this store treated customers and its physical characteristics. 10% military discount is a plus. Thanks.

Be careful what you buy. You can’t seem to get help locating things or loading them. I bought 80 sheets of drywall and they said the forklift driver was in the back working on a truck 🤔 i also needed an item from up top and after waiting 20 minutes i finally got a forklift and got it myself 🤦🏾‍♂️

They have what Lowes doesnt.

They cant hire enough folks that know anything. It seems like most of the people who work there have never gotten their hands dirty, and they dont know the product they are selling. Lots of the time you ask for help, they read the box; if there isnt a box they tell you what they think, but it is often wrong upon later research. Used to be my first choice because they had knowledgeable employees. Now its a toss up between Home Depot and the blue place.

Great store, great selection. The people are always so nice and helpful. I bring my dog with me many times and they always give him treats, so he loves it there too!

In general, I only go here if I cant find something at Lowes.Terrible service in the appliance department, with bait and switch sales. I ordered all new kitchen appliances. Refrigerator delivered but delivery personnel wouldnt hook it up properly. Poor service from delivery guys. The store did not want to make it right and successfully delayed service and said I would have to file a warranty claim, which I did. (Good service from contracted repair company Friendstek).The microwave and dishwasher were also delivered at the same time without incident and worked fine.Had to wait months on the refrigerator, then when it finally arrived, the delivery guys broke it and had to return it to factory. They said I would get a replacement, but that never came, so I obtained a refund from the store. The main issue is that Home Depot kept pointing fingers at Samsung and Samsung pointed fingers at Home Depot. No one wanted to take responsibility. Too many problems regarding this issue with Home Depot and Samsung to mention. Terrible experience.

Good luck getting a price match. I was in the store shopping and decided to pick up a 20# bag of Rebel Shady Lawn grass seed. I noticed it was priced $10 more than the everday price at Lowes. I showed the clerk Lowes website and was told that Home Depot does not honor online price matching. I explained that this item was available at Lowes to pick up right now but was told this wasnt an ad. So basically I was told to go to Lowes and take a picture of the item and then come back and they would price match it. How about I save you the trouble and NEVER shop in your store again..........

We had a very good experience tonight at Home Depot. This morning we had our gas range delivered from Home Depot and the two guys that delivered it were awesome. Tonight the guy that waited on us was awesome I prefer Home Depot over Lowes any day. Keep up the good work.

I spent all day looking for someone who could duplicate my basic car keys (2003). This store had me covered, and the employees were super friendly. We joked around about the quirky machine as we waited. It was a fun experience!

I called all N. Hsv. stores trying to locate a specific Tiller and no one seemed to have any knowledge of how to help me find it or seemed liked they even cared. I called south pkwy Home Depot and Ms. Jessie answered and she was a JEWEL. She was attentive, knowledgeable and willing to help me and she sounded so cheerful. Big box store thats got a lot of stuff

Because of the bad experience I had with the paint clerk, I will never shop at Home Depot again. Go next door to Lowes, its much nicer and the employees are actually helpful.

Nice store for general home improvement stuff. Ive bought a lawnmower, a soldering iron and flux (which worked on my cars BCM) and some automotive fasteners. They dont have every specific thing Im looking for, but its a big store and they have a little bit of everything. It helps if you can find the product online and see which bay its in.

Hot and cold. The people that work in the store are great. But some of their installers.... go somewhere else. Exceuses, one after the other.

Staff was friendly. Store was clean and well stocked.

Had what we went for. Thats perfection in my book.

My choice 9 times out of 10 is Home Depot. I may shop with the competition if there is a sale or discount I cant refuse but only then. I find the staff at HD far more knowledgeable. Most appear to have been tradesmen in their department prior. Not the same experience elsewhere by any means.

Went for garden stakes and Lois at the checkout counter didnt seem to want to help us locate them. Said if they arent where theyre supposed to be, they dont have them. My husband as for a manager/supervisor and lo and behold....the garden stakes we found.

Clean and stocked home improvement store

Its on rare occasions that I go to Home Depot, or any stores like it, but whenever I do it is always a nice experience. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable which is a real bonus for me because majority of the time I go in there I know what I need but I dont know anything else! So its really nice to know that the employees can actually help me instead of run and hide from me, like I experience at Walmart. I would definitely recommend this location to anybody!

I ordered some materials to be deliy from the west Huntsville store but they were delivered from the South Huntsville store. Because of the rain, the materials were covered with shrink wraps and plastic bags on three different pallets. The delivery was quick and smooth and driver was very courteous. I didnt bring my list and the driver didnt show me the list. I thought everything was good. However, after I checkes the list against the pictures, I noticed one item was missing. I call the store (south Huntsville) about it. I told the clerk about the missing item. Initiallay she questioned me about what I wanted. I wonder what kind of question would that be. Of course, I wanted my missing item. She then asked about my order number, my name and about the missing item. She then out me on hold,. After serveral long minutes, I was hung up. I called them back again with someone else pickes up the phone. I had to explain the situation again. She said she would transfer me to the manager on duty. I waited for many minutes agimain without anyone picking up the phone. Eventually I had to hang up. I cant wait forever to be kicked around. I will have to go to the store to figure it out. My advice, always check the items you ordered when you have a delivery. They would not be willing to help you after the delivery. I was able to go to my normal store to have the issue resolved. Another issue for the order was thats some of the 2x4 studs were moldy and cracked. That means another trip to return them. You wish they would at least select the materials that would be useable and not give you the bad stuffs but I guess they wouldnt do that.

My favorite place to buy quality tools, they have a great selection of all the top brands.I use Makita, Klein, Ideal, Milwaukee, Diablo, some Dewalt, Empire, Werner, Husky hand tools etc. to help me pay the bills around the house.Never had a problem with returns except for their Ridgid power tools.Even though they list a lifetime warranty on the package they have told me to ship my defective tools for repairs elsewhere and that means I have to pay shipping and do without my tool for weeks or more.I would rather just buy a high quality power tool if I have to ship anything for repairs cause Makita has NEVER let me down.Other than that their store isn’t the best i’ve seen but it’s pretty well organized and clean.The people who work here at the South Side Parkway are very helpful whenever I ask them for help.If they would offer more sales on high end tools I would give them 5 stars but I guess you get what you pay for here just like anywhere else.

The store seems disorganized with power tools on one isle and four isles away there are air powered tools. power tools seem disorganized with types and manufacturer of tools intermixed. Alot of molding is intermixed. pine wood molding with the composition type.personally I never liked Home Depot but was trying to give them a chance. still didnt like it.

They usually have everything I go to look for. I can only think of a couple times in my life that they did not have the item(s) I went there to look for.

They always have the tools and supplies that I need to do my job.

This has to be the worst store Ive been to ....There inventory is horrible and thats just comparing it to the north store location and dont try to get any help with anything NO ONE had a clue about there department...And if your planning on getting anything of weight or size you best take some help....

There is some things I have to get from Home Depot this was a 800.00 pressure washer could have gotten it from Tractor Supply for 50.00 less but it was closer and it said dewalt. Could find pressure washers in this store. Then found them after tracking someone down, then someone helps load it on a cart it 2person lift. Then register to ask for credit card options to get a better deal they have no idea about anything then manager was call he was the same way nothing in his head brain so just payed to get out of there. No one helped to put it in car....

We are doing a large scale home remodel. The staff were courteous and fast paced from helping me decide which materials to use to helping me load 50 sheets of drywall by hand. Awesome experience as always, will be returning for years to come.

This place is my jam! Just got a Christmas tree. Hella deal. Trimmed and stump cut off all for under 75.

Today, I waited over 45 minutes for my curbside order (I had 3 items) which is worse than the 25 minutes I waited the last time I had a curbside pickup order. This time was pretty cool because after about 35 plus minutes someone came out and said that we could just go get the wood ourselves, rending the whole “curbside” concept pretty pointless. If you love sitting in the parking lot, this store is for you!

If I could I would give no stars. The store is ridiculous the manager’s are awful. They will give you 10 or 4 hours for the whole month this place is sad. I would not recommend anyone to work here. STAY AWAY

Ill take it over Lowes everyday of the week and twice on Sunday besides that they care a lot of things at Lowes dont have and theyre cheaper on copper wire.

This Home Depot is smaller and doesnt have as much in the electrical wiring area. I was looking for #2#2#2#4 direct bury wire and they had none of the multi conductor wire in stock. Lowes next door did have what I needed.

Trying to buy a refrigerator and having the ice maker installed was a joke. Three guys show up and none can install🤷🏻‍♂️ Then they don’t show up when they say but told the store I wasn’t home and left a note. All lies. My family lives on both sides and no one showed. I need this picked up ASAP as I have purchased one from LOWES. Manager said she would sure I get it all installed tomorrow. And I got a bigger one at a lower price.

Dont be fooled by their military discount. They really dont want to offer it, and will do whatever they can to prevent you from getting it. Lady there tonight didnt want to give me the discount and gave me grief for having a dd-214 instead of an ID. Not my fault that I was medically discharged and wasnt able to retain my ID. Im still a veteran. Home Depot hates veterans! Shop at Lowes, never a problem there. You can link your veteran status to your Lowes card, and never have to worry about verifying your veteran status again.

Home depot always does the right thing. Not only was the plywood miss-marked but a piece of a more expensive product had been mixed in. I had already had them cut both sheets for me and was happy they honored the incorrect lower price.
