While riding through my dad noticed this coffee shop, so we had to stop by and try some. I was really surprised with how friendly the batistas are. They suggested us which beverages they enjoyed the most and the dishes they liked off their menu. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Id suggest it to anyone whoever there and hasnt tried it yet.Its nice to be able to stop by and enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat.

Just had a great club sandwich and an iced mocha. Refreshing and satisfying! Just plain simple fresh ingredients treated well. The mocha was delicious and not overly sweet! Great atmosphere and friendly nice staff! Our favorite coffee house ❤️

Our familys favorite place! My husband and I have been coming here for years and love it! He gets freshly ground coffee to take home, and I love the smoothies, hot chocolate and Piper & Leaf tea. We get lunch there often and love the sandwiches. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, as are the staff and owners, whove become true friends. You wont regret stopping by, and your day will be better for it!

I am normally very happy with our food and drinks from here. I was very disappointed to see the employee at the drive through window yesterday (8/12/20) after 5pm was not wearing a mask. Is your business following the state mask ordinance? Were you aware of this? Thanks for reading.UPDATED: yesterday (8.19.20) I returned to your drive through and the girl who took our order had her mask over her mouth but not her nose. Then the girl in the back didnt have one on and only put it on after she saw me.

Im not in the area often but I made a special trip and went through the drive thru. I enjoyed my nice hot white mocha on my way home.

I finally tried Flint River Coffee, and Im glad I did. I think it is way better than Starbucks. I really enjoyed my drink and the different breakfast items that I have tried. The staff has been really nice also.

A trip to the Hubert tulip farm brought me sort of out this way again, so I figured Id venture inside and try myself some of their coffee. They have a small drive through, too, if youd prefer not to get out of your car.The interior is comfortable, with a lot of seating. You can order your choice of coffee beverage as well as some simple sandwich combinations at the counter. They have a lot of specialty drinks / flavors, Id say more than 15. If I lived closer by Id definitely work my way through each of the ones that looked appealing.Instead, I opted for the one that sounded the most appealing, an iced Snicker, Im guessing like the Snickers bar: chocolate, caramel, and peanut flavors. My dad got a hot Trail of Tears, which if I remember correctly is chocolate and hazelnut (or maybe amaretto - cant recall). Both were good! Iced coffees come in 20 or 24 oz cups, both of which were a little big and sweet for me on a mostly empty stomach. Probably shouldve gotten a pastry or something.Drinks came out quickly, though the service was a little spacey -- the barista asked us 3 separate times if we wanted whipped cream on our drinks. I couldve also used a little bit more ice in my drink, but thats quite preferable to too much ice, lol.Overall, Id visit again if I was in the area. I think this is the only local coffeehouse in the around these parts, so definitely check them out and give them some support. :)

Flint River Coffee is always my first place to grab a mocha, but last Saturday I made a 8 sandwich order for a family picnic. The staff made a extra effort to pack the sandwiches and condiments in such a way that the bread was not soggy or sloppy. The family really like the lunch. I’m going to use this shop again for large easy lunch solutions. Not just great coffee, but great lunches also!

I LOVE supporting LOCAL coffee shops! Our area of Huntsville is blessed to have such a close, quaint, good coffee shop! I always enjoy the drinks I order, the is staff friendly and the drive through is quick & easy to get in and out of. Definitely recommend. :)

I have been going to Flint River for 3 years and love them. I always get the chai latte with non-fat milk. However, over the past 5-6 times (3 month) the drink has been getting worse and this time it is undrinkable. ☹️ I am not sure if the mix has changed or if the milk is bad or if new people are making it but you might want to check you supply.

This is THE BEST COFFEE SHOP. These are THE BEST PEOPLE!!! The coffee is twice as good as starbucks, hands down. Every staff member I have encountered has been so nice, happy, and really knows what good customer service is. I am so lucky to work 1 mile from this place. I get a variety of coffees and ALWAYS top off my trip with a cherry Danish. I am absolutely never disappointed at all. This place is my home away from home!!

The coffee is so sweet and strong at the same time. Not a place for a meal unless you want breakfast but the staff was awesome and the atmosphere is so beautiful!

I live close by so I frequent this place and do meetings with clients here. And they never disappoint!! Make sure to stop by if you are considering it. You will not regret it!

Great local coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere. Tastier than your big chain coffee house, and you get more bang for your buck. They have a wide variety of specialty drinks to satisfy your craving. They are closed on Sunday, but are open every other day of the week.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. It is my fav coffeeshop in the area. It is homey, has great drinks and subs, nice staff, and is usually quiet. I came here every day I was studying. I love how its decorated with scriptures on the walls in some areas. Try the white chocolate hot chocolate. Its amazing!!!

Been here 2x. Great experience both times. Its a mix of a self serve coffee bar with specialty coffees prepared on demand. Its an indie (independent) mom and pop shop. Interior is very homey. No commercialism smashing you in the face. I havent tasted desserts yet.

I stopped in for my first time and absolutely loved it. The people were super friendly, and the whole shop had a very nice and welcoming atmosphere. I was in a rush, and my whole visit took about five minutes because the service was so fast. The prices were about what you will pay at Starbucks, but the coffee is excellent, you’re supporting a local business so it’s worth it. I’m not a big coffee drinker but I’ll definitely be back!!

My wife and I absolutely adore this coffee shop. Friendly, cozy, and quite . All the things your looking for when looking to have a small conversation with an old friend or when doing computer work for work n school. They also have a book room in the back for a relaxing reading while you sip down an amazing cup of Joe.10 stars if i could will go back everyday we can. Prices are great plus the food is superb.

If you want a fun, sweet coffee drink, this is the best in the area. They have so many flavors to choose from and they offer dairy free alternatives. They have a selection of food, not the most affordable, however, what you would expect from a coffee shop.

Cozy place with great coffee, and a great personality. They have the best prices on coffee that I know of in Huntsville and still deliver a fantastic cup. They have tables, a couch, and a wonderful atmosphere. They also do lunch, though I havent tried it yet!

Service was superb. We ordered several different coffee drinks, each was perfectly prepared. Their coffee was well rounded and very aromatic. Will definitely stop here when back in the area. I prefer here so much to the big national chain.

Love this little place! It’s so cute and has such a nice vibe to it. They offer a huge selection of drinks and even a good amount of food. I’ve always had a good experience with the staff and the quality of the coffee is outstanding! Love that they started selling piper and leaf now too- It’s great when local businesses support other local businesses.

Great coffee in a very cool setting!!

My husband and I decided to try out this adorable coffee shop while we waited for our daughter to finish dance classes and we were blown away by the coffee, staff and decor! The hand made touches throughout really make the shop what it is along with the coffee of course! We actually loved the house blend! It was very easy to pass the time while looking at all the pictures, witty signs and checking out the reading room. We make a special effort to stop by anytime we have some time to kill; definitely beats sitting in traffic! Highly recommend this coffee shop And it is also nice knowing you are supporting a local businesses!

This is the only coffee shop for miles around, and it was a welcomed convenience during my brief stay in the area. I try to choose local shops as much as possible while traveling, and owners like Keith are the reason why. In addition to our great coffee, we enjoyed pleasant conversation with the proprietor. If ever I should find myself along the Flint River again, I will be sure to stop here for refreshment.

Awesome people, very nice owners. I usually order my coffee black, which is how I like it, still fairly good coffee and smoothies. Its yellow coffee house right on Winchester Rd. Im the LMT thats there every Saturday mornings that gives out chair massages, so I know them personally and professionally. Great people with a quaint atmosphere.

Ive lived in the area and been a regular at Flint River Coffee for the last three years. The atmosphere is great, the coffee is among my favorite in Huntsville, and the owner is awesome. Obviously, coffee preference is a fickle thing. The best part about Flint River Coffee is how hard Keith will work to make sure you have something you like. Couldnt recommend this place enough!

Ashley and Morgan were great. The coffee is very unique and unlike what Ive ever tasted. However, the one thing that rubs me the wrong way, is that there is a drink called the trail of tears and it seems disrespectful to the thousands of native americans whove died and were forced from their homes. Other than that, great coffee!

Their customer service is equally as outstanding as their coffee! As a corporate trainer, I strive to have my trainees be like the employees here in regard to customer service. We are always met with a smile and friendly conversation. Their coffee is competitively priced to Starbucks and tastes so much better.
