Associates are rude and very under stockedStore does not look good its falling apart

My first time at this location. The place is massive and has a great variety of meats, produce, spices, pastries and dry goods.

If you enjoy scavenger hunts, this is definitely the store for you. You never know for sure what it will be out of, but you can be assured it will be out of at least two items on your list. One visit may surprise you with no eggs or creamer for your coffee, the next week you are met with absolutely no sugar. After that adventure, you are met with trying to find an open register. And yes, I am aware that Walmart is trying hard to force customers to self-service but one morning, even that was closed. Fun times.

Clean and quiet, prices are higher then the regular grocery chains, I wonder why?

They Never answer the phone!! I just called and let it ring 30 times but no one answered. Every time I call it is the same thing.Their grocery pickup however is terrific!I don’t shop inside anymore so I appreciate the pickup service.

Wasnt enough cashers, very long lines.

This Walmart location used to be my family’s go to for quick shopping but over the years the staff and service have become less helpful. The store is more dirty and disorganized than other locations in the area and there’s several items every other Walmart I go to has but this location always seems to be out of stock so that’s why I had to dock them 3 stars. I’d bump my score up if they would take the time to remodel the store a bit and better train the staff and bump up the inventory.

Took 35 minutes to get help in the fishing area. After i asked 4 people for help and heard 3 pages for help. But ill admit short on staff is a problem many locations. Help did show and i got what i needed...

Always looks decently cleaned and stocked when I go there, on par with the south parkway Walmart. I havent bought food here so dont know if its fresh but they do have more variety of clothes.

Im handicap and they had no electric scooters charged asked for help from security, customer service and the blounde door greeter which looked over me and acted like it was not there problem. Nor did either of them care. So we left and went to Publix across the street. Which helped me tremendously... Will NOT BE BACK!! They appreciated my $200 purchase.

I came in the morning for some shopping and Renzo was so kind and helpful! Five stars all around!

Always order on line and always get what I ordered. Not last time, they didnt have my dog food and didnt ship my paper towels. If I wanted to pick it up I would y picked up everything.

Reading the other complaints, walmart as a whole should be ashamed!! These problems are at every Walmart across our country and its discussing! I stopped shopping walmart for over 5yrs and its not the first time I disowned them due to lack of care or concern for customers that spend their hard earned money with them! The reason for my complaint today is because yesterday day I went in this walmart and seen the new Krispy Kreme on the go donuts but was concerned due to the fact they was in the freezer and had no heating instructions but I purchased them and this opened them to see how to heat the frozen donuts nope no instructions there either so I went to KK website and what do you know they are supposed to be on the shelf HINTS on the on!! So now I tried to call walmart to let them know they have ruined this product GUESS THAT NO ANSWER from any department it just rang! So I called KK and they was happy to take my call and assure me that this product should not be frozen. Thanks again walmart see you soon for a refund!

This store doesnt appear to be very handicapped/disabled friendly. They have plenty of handicap parking but as far as someone with a disability being able to go in store and shop thats where they apparently have no concern about. If you have/bring your own mobile cart you will be able to shop..however if you dont you may want to use the services of another store because you will be unable to get around the store to shop. I was there tonight and they only had 3 carts in the store. The two on the side which the doors were opened didnt work at all and the third one, which was on the other end of the store on the closed doors side, wasnt charged nor was it even plugged in to charge the battery.. I asked an employee who was bringing in carts on the closed side if they maybe had a cart outside that hadnt been brought in by chance. He told me he would go get me one and walked away.. After waiting 10 minutes I proceeded to head back to the other side I had originally came in hoping to catch him headed back. Well no such luck he was no where to be seen. Not only that but while I was on my way there I notice two teen girls ( that definitely had nothing wrong and no need to use) playing around the store with each other on two.. Meanwhile the store had myself needing one and gentleman needing one for his wife so we could shop!! I left the store and went elsewhere to do business. The lack of care or concern this store exhibited is not only shamefully sad, disgraceful and angering but its unethical, incompetent and reprehensible!

No cash option at self checkout and long lines at the couple open regular lines.

You can buy just about anything from Walmart now days. The selections and styles have improved and are better quality. I believe Walmart is my choice of stores today. Good work Walmart. Please keep the different styles and many options going because it makes your clientele happy.

Always have what I need, love the fruit and vegetable section. Good sports selection, fishing and camping. Walley World here I come.

The manager did the littlest work possible causing him to lie to me. I spent an extra 30 min doing the stockers job looking for an item that was in the wrong spot with no tag.

Thought I would try out the Walmart over in Hampton Cove versus the Walmart on South Parkway well I like the clothes better so I probably will be going across the mountain to go do my shopping for my clothes Foods about the same but the clothes are definitely prettier

Shopping was great. Checking out was a nightmare. A mixup at the cash register and we waited forever for a member of management to arrive to fix it.

A very discheveled and sloopy looking snarky staff member told me and several others that their computers were down and they could not do any returns - after we had been in line at the counter for more than five minutes. I asked if I could just do an even exchange and she gave me serious attitude, leaning toward me, asking me, well if we cant do returns, what makes you [think] I can do an exchange? ...

I love this Walmart! It has the absolute best selection of any of the Walmarts in my area and surrounding. It is always neat and clean. The associates are always helpful and friendly. Theres always someone available in every department. The parking lot isnt all chaotic. The buggys are frequently rounded up and brought right back in and Ive noticed that someone is usually up front sanitizing shopping carts. There were masks available as you walk in, also hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes. The bathrooms also are clean and completely stocked to accommodate typical restroom needs and those of a family bathroom emergency, and following the guidelines for COVID-19 precautions.

Not only are they are out of pretty much everything. They don’t even bring buggies into the store. I know for at least the last month we have had to go back outside to get a biggie. This is the worst Walmart in North Alabama

Veggies arent really fresh or neat. Zucchini was crammed in so tight you couldnt get any without scraping the others up. Meat area hasnt had a good selection in awhile. Never anyone in the bakery. Many food items on the shelves had no price, and items all mixed up so I didnt know which price was which all through grocery area. A bag of sugar substitute I put in my buggy had a hole in it, got all over my foods and the floor. I asked someone for help so there wouldnt be a mess, and they sighed and said, what do you want me to just get the bag from you? So, I went no, Id like a broom so no one slips on it. Person said theyd get someone. The new person came and was very sweet and cleaned up the mess and asked if I needed a new bag. The cashier didnt ring a lot of my veggies as what they were, even when I told her. For example, I had a ton of poblanos, and she rang them as 3 g peppers. My bag of cherries I weighed at around $8, never made it on my receipt. So somehow they didnt get scanned. Free food not a problem for most, but I buy for several ppl, and need the items on the receipt. So, I gave it a three cause it made shopping from a list very frustrating. I left and went to another store to finish getting what I needed.

Ok so I just bought an onn tablet from here Ive only had it a month it automatically tried to update now it will not come on

Wal-Mart in Hampton Cove sucks it takes to long to check out only to lanes open and I seen employees just walking around and not helping anyone so I give it 1 star and they cant keep their shelves stock this Wal-Mart has fall down hill and its bad......

No way this location has 4 stars. I suspect they have had employees submit reviews to improve the ratings. Not a staffing issue as plenty of staff are standing around at the front chatting and eating chips but never lines open. The shelves are typically empty and disorganized. And the staff is rude and unfriendly. Not a one time occurrence, every visit.

Its basically your traditional WalMart. I personally would recommend going here for groceries as it is well, a WalMart and they are pretty good stores. They dont have the 12-15 Covid-19 Vaccine here though, which is kinda a let down. If you are going to get groceries though, this is the right place! :)

The service is good although you have to wait a while on an associate assistance but I did eventually get the help I went in there for.

Just keep on hiring the bottom of the barrel. No customer service. Some kid on his cell phone as a greeter. Not speaking not checking receipts. Just taking up space and riding a free paycheck. Like most of the employees at this location. If i can walk around store for 30 minutes and not be spoken to from an employee, that means even the manager sucks. Or they would fix their store. Not restocking shelves for weeks. Never again. At least restock the shelves.

If you must go, avoid early mornings- only one check-out open!

A female cashier seemed rather annoyed when I inquired about the price of several items which did not have price displayed on them. She behaved as if I asked her to do a task which was completely out of her job description. Also, nobody was behind us so there was no reason to be in a hurry. And if a cashier is not the right person to ask about price, then I dont know who is. This was close to store closing time and she seemed to be in a hurry to be done. This kind of thing is disappointing to see because this is my neighborhood WalMart.

Pharmacy is great, very fast and efficient.

There was a super nice lady that had eye lashes

I do not live on this side of town, so I only stop through when I am in the area. I love this Walmart, I find some pretty good selection every time I come.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Store was well stocked. I was able to find everything on my list.

I Enjoyed shopping at Walmart.I got everything I needed there.However I would like to see more variety of Frozen Vegetables to choose from. I enjoy shopping at Walmart Supercenter. Its Great There.

Visited on my normal Friday evening shopping trip at around 6:45. The only regular register that was open was the tobacco lane which was backed up with probably 6 or 7 customers with shopping carts. I will use the self checkout when I have small amounts so today I got in that line for the self checkout corral. After waiting in line for several minutes and making to that front the young lady says cards only I tell her Im paying in cash and she tells me I guess you will have to go get in the other lines and turns away. So we go to one of the self checkout with the belts and when we make it there it too says card only. Next we try customer service but there is a customer having trouble with a return and they turn the lights out on us so we finally go to the tobacco line. Probably should have done that to begin with. So on the way out I call the 1800walmart number to complain her answer was the cash shortage that happened a few months ago or she said at least thats what they tell me. Im sure it was someone that has to count down the cash from the self checkout at night decided they wanted to leave early so they pulled all the cash and switched the registers to card only. This has happened on a few occasions at this store. It was once the cleaner and better stocked walmarts but has suffered for the past few years. On the way home my wife and I made the decision to drive the extra mile and start shopping at Target again.

This Walmart is finally got some sense and opened up more than one self checkout which is a amazing bonus. There is an older gentleman that stands at the edge and watches as you check out that can give you the creeps but all in all hes pretty cool

Shopping carts are in terrible condition, I usually have to pull four or five carts till I find one that is even half way descent. I would guess more than half your carts dont roll smoothly.

Its Walmart. Kinda sucks that moms cant use WIC at a self checkout. Especially when youre probably only getting a few things. But they did find someone to open a register just for us late at night.

Well stocked, but not adequately staffed for so close to Christmas. Only 3 check out lanes open with lines in all of them. Thats not counting the self checkout lanes, which were also full of people who dont know how to use them.

This place never has carts inside. I’ve gone to tell them every time and nothing happens. Lazy people.

It was a great experience I needed help with a Walmart debit card I had purchased to make a payment on my insurance. I had brought the card friday morning and I had ask the girl that rang me out if she would show me what to do to activate it she was no help at all.I tried 5 hrs to get it to activate but no luck .I had 300.00 put on it to pay my insurance and I was not able to do it I was so upset because it was going to cancel at midnightBut this young lady was so good and was able to help me and I was able to pay it she stood right there with me and I was able to make my payment .I cant remember her name but she was in the customer service area a young girl with shoulder length hair she had light color hair.I wish the woman this morning had been more like her then I would not have struggled all day trying to get it to work .

I ordered from the black Friday deals for days it was an online only/pick up at local Walmart. I felt that the system that Walmart developed for the holiday shopping season has been great. The pick system for those items has a different pickup location from the regular online pickup item which made the process quicker. The employee that brought my items was quick and everything was accurate.

This is one of the more ghetto super Walmart. There is a police officer there 24/7 to keep the theft and crime down. Its a decent Walmart and normally had everything I need and is fully stocked up. They just renovated it, so it looks a WHOLE LOT nicer on the inside. The employees though, are not the friendliest.. that would be the most negative thing about the WHOKE store.

The tall guy with brown hair and bald on top that works in the electronics section at the Hampton Cove location is very RUDE, unprofessional and has absolutely no customer service skills!!!!!! ! I waited while he was busy gossiping with other associates before he finally comes over. I ask if they have a product in stock and without even checking he said “nope,” walked off and proceeded to open delivery boxes! I called the store to put in a complaint, but of course no one in any department in the store picked up.

Open like a big warehouse and not attractive at all. Feels dumpy. Its a Walmart 🤷‍♀️.

Tonight 1-29-21 Id like to say that theres still good people out there. I had went in for milk,cheese and bread that I was getting from wic due to decrease in money and a hard month. Once everything was rung up the cheese that I had gotten which even once I looked through the booklet was wic worthy it showed that it wasnt approved. I told the lady to just put it back and that I wasnt able to get it, then a gentleman behind me said to put it on his and that he would pay for my cheese. Id like to thank the gentleman again for being a kind person in just a rough time. We had stopped in at 9:30ish pm to get the few things we needed for breakfast and a few days so that my 4yr old son could have his milk bread and cheese if it wasnt for the gentleman behind me we wouldnt have been able to get it for a few more weeks. Thank you so much for being an angel when one was much needed!!!

It’s a Wal Mart. You get what you would expect, although this store is definitely above average in that regard. It suffers from chronic understaffing but that is par for the course with Wal Mart. I’ve worked retail in the past and it truly is a difficult and thankless job at times so I don’t really blame the employees.

My experience was awful. I had gone to 4 Walmart that morning searching for boots in a certain size. As I was checking out thru self checkout the cashier searched my buggy by forcing her hands down my boots telling me it was store policy. I believe it was more like discrimination. I spoke with store manager who told me it was not store policy. I was highly offended and embarrassed.
