The people that work here are incredibly rude. They also lack basic math skills. An item was mark 50 percent off the young lady used her calculator to figure out half of 20 is 10. She then proceeded to give me 8.18 back......... when I explained that half of 20 is 10 she said ok but 8.18 is what Im giving you. Side note it doesnt really matter because her refund never went back on my card.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Manager and staff are beyond rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. This is worth the read I swear. I have shopped at this store a few times now I’d say about 3 times since I moved to this area. The first time I shopped the manager lied to me about some random deals they had and said they would give me like 40% off if I signed up for like these three promotions they had. They told me the second I left the store I could cancel all these promotions with no problem! Well they lied one of them was easy to cancel and the other two took me about two weeks to get canceled. When I went back into the store and brought this up they lied to my face saying they had no clue it would take that long. My friend who purchased with me that day ended up returning her items and they were so rude. The manager kept pushing that she should exchange them and refused to give her the full amount that she payed back to her even tho she had her receipt and they were all unopened brand new items. She ended up getting such anxiety from the guy that she just took what he could get and left. The last time I shopped there my same friend called the store to ask if they had a certain item in stock! The associate on the phone was beyond rude to her. She asked if they had it and his response was “ yes they release today” she then just wanting to confirm that the item was in the store on the shelf asked “ okay! So it’s on the actual shelf in stock? “ the guy responded “ yeah I just said that “ and continued to go off about how customers never listen to anything he says. She proceeded to tell him that was a bit rude she was just asking a question and hung up. When we arrived at the store the manager was out stocking items he came out with a huge box and threw it down on the floor right next to my friend and gave her a glare. Also while I was just looking at the pops he came up right behind me and I mean like where I could feel his breath on the back of my neck and yelled “excuse me” I legit screamed because it scared me so much and he just walked off. When I finally checked out the manager tried to force the sales on me again and when I said no his whole demeanor changed slamming my item on the counter and not speaking to me again even when I said “thank you so much!” After paying. Honestly idk who let these people run this store but it’s the most rude customer service I’ve ever seen and that’s coming from someone who works in customer service myself. Idk who peed in these guys Cheerios but if you are looking for a good experience shopping wise you damn well won’t find it here. I say stay clear.

The employees were nice and they have a pretty good amount of stuff. I would like more variety on the anime stuff there. Like less popular animes (ex. Blend s) or popular animes like Hunter x Hunter. Overall pretty nice though!

This place is pretty great it has many options for the people who like anime and Japanese items (including me) but sometimes staff can be rude.

I signed up for the free month of the Backstage Pass and cancelled it in early January. They are still charging me for it. Ive looked at reviews for Backstage Pass and pretty much all of them are negative. I love FYE, but this has really tainted them for me. The associates are always nice, but they push Backstage Pass too much and then you get ripped off by the company.

Fun to look around and see the pop culture stuff (is that what kids these days are still calling it?). Prices are outrageous, but its typical for this kind of store.

Very shady business practices. I signed up for their Backstage VIP membership, as the sales associate said it was completely free. It turns out that is incorrect, I am now being charged $11.99/month for some membership on my personal debit card that I do not use and did not consent to. Just further proof that you should read everything yourself before signing up for stuff, I would recommend not having your sales associates lie about costs in regards to a free membership. I will certainly not be back.Edit: Manager was very helpful in cancellation process, thank you to FYE for being understanding. Moving forward, I would recommend not having associates advertise the product as free.

A store from my childhood. Was 10 years since ive stepped foot in one. And I was not disappointed. Got some shirts some new music and this and that things. 200$ late and cant wait to go back! Was super friendly. And reasonable priced. If your a metal hear. Anime lover. Geek. Nerd or just someone in between its a must go to stop.

While I do miss all the CDs, I thoroughly enjoy all the movies and memorabilia.

Was out trying to find a place to get a new CD that came out and theyre arent many stores carrying them anymore unless you order or digital download. So I went to the parkway place mall to get it and was very happy to see they had it and was on sale cheaper than the online prices for it. The store is much smaller and not as easy to browse because all types of music is alphabetically together in a very tight shelf instead of how they used to be in categories but at least they still carry them. Everyone working there was very pleasant and really helpful I will definitely return to this store. I just wish they would at least make the displays easier to browse there is just way too much stuff crammed together in such a small store its almost claustrophobic. This store used to be twice this size I know its because most people use Amazon or just do download but I still prefer to have the actual CD in case my computer crashes so I dont have to worry about losing my albums I know several people that lost everything and even with proof they bought it online had to buy them again from several different sites. They do have lots more stuff on their website too and they run great sales so I think its worth a visit to their store or website.

I always find the movies and shows I need at great prices. I love that they have records, novelty items, and imported candy.

Not much there unfortunately and the few things I was interested in were cheaper at Walmart... I miss the old days of this brand of store.

Love the CD selection here, great place for Funko Pops if you like those too.

They rang up the wrong products two times .When I went in and also when my parents made a return and bought a cd. The manager David was very rude and hollered at me over the phone when i called to make a complaint .This is a prime example of why most FYEs are shutting down. They will never get my business again. Im also calling corporate monday, hopefully the manager gets fired and theyll find an actual polite and good one.

Be careful! I was signing up for membership and they added the magazine subscription, after entering my card...yes Im told 11.99 is membership fee and can cancel anytime, what was not told was the magazine subscription is a total different way that FYE does NOT connect with them and how my debit card information just automatically rolled over with no given time or date. I got charged a 59.00 for the month and caused my bank to overdraft. WTH! No warning notice no nothing! I will not shop at that store again. If I do, any cashier that wants to talk to me about membership, theyll be cut off with a NO answer quick! The person that did this to me I believe should reimburse me for the 59.00! On top of that, I had tried to call the store, the phone rang and rang no one to answer. what happend to customer service?

Freaking terrible as they come. Overpriced everything. They are quitting on music sells because an old cd found on eBay for like $4 is sold for $15 or more. They have lost their sales people and got Zombie people that have no idea of what they’re doing besides getting a min wage check. Perk up!

I purchased something in store. Was signed up for some back stage pass thing WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE and they used my debit card information from when I swiped my card and have been charging me EVERY MONTH. when I called the 800 number the lady basically laughed at me and when I called this location the manager (who wasnt employed at the time of my transaction) was very short and rude and acted like there was nothing she could do. Well being a manager myself if the problem is at my store IM RESPONIBLE. LESRN HOW TO DO YOUR JOB YOU RIPOFFS
