The Class Six (actually Class VI to an Army Logistician) store is part of the Post Exchange, and is therefore not open to civilians.This store is usually well maintained; the floors are clean, the shelves are stocked, and the people at the checkout are polite.The beer section usually contains a very good representation of local craft beers and national brands, including a fair number of German beers. The wine and spirits section has a very good selection of popular brands, and even includes some regional spirits.The rest of the store is taken up with the snacks, convenience items, and microwavable foods that one would expect to find in a convenience store.I confess to waxing nostalgic every time I walk in; it smells just like every other PX Ive ever been in during my military career. It must be the laundry detergent.

Best prices around for alcohol! Plus, it’s tax free.

Great selection and terrific prices. My favorite package store. Ive seen plenty of civilians I know and never been asked for military ID in here, even if its supposed to be part of the PX.

Best selection in the 256. 10/10, would go there on payday again.If youre going on a FRI or SAT, go early, there are dudes dragging multiple cartloads of alcohol. They are either world-class drinkers or outfitting the bar at the Legion hall. Maybe both. I dont judge.The local beer selection is a little anemic (mostly Straight to Ale and Blue Pants), but they have some stuff you cant get elsewhere. Excellent whiskey selection, especially in the Scotch department.Also home to the Military Special label, your first choice when youre going to mix it with something else.

Theyve got a great selection of spirits and cigars. Plus, theyve got a decent selection of convenience items.

Its a fairly nice class six, its usually over run with slow folks making their weekly liquor purchase. Can be crowded during peak hours.

If you have military id, the beer and liquor sales are pretty good, very convenient if you have reason to be on arsenal.

Gas pumps have overbearing tv screens blaring with typical garbage and no control by customers. Noise pollution and for some us an aggravating medical issue.

Its for the active duty and retired military, and da civ for gas, some groceries, and alcoholic beverages.
