Had a good experience with them. Trackpad was having issues and they ordered a part and fixed it no problem! They did it much faster than I thought they would! Pleasantly surprised with the time it took!However, after they repaired it, the forgot to reattach the bluetooth interfaces to to machine. Unfortunately I found this out AFTER I took the computer home again. I had to take it back to them again to get it fixed.I would have given this store 3 star review, however, they were so nice about getting their mistake fixed and about scheduling that it was still mostly hassle free for me. Overall great experience, sounds like they just need to verify testing the computer to verify all functionality before it leaves their store.

Dishonest and fraudulent like activities from this business. We spent $80 for a diagnostic. After allegedly diagnosing it, They said they couldn’t get the computer to boot up and said it needs a new hardrive/logic board. It would be at least 800 dollars. My wife mentioned she wanted to talk with me before she had them do the repair. They told her she either needed to commit then or immediately go pick up the laptop from the store (after they had it for a week). She picked it up and they said the computer will not boot up. We got it home and called apple phone support and now it works flawlessly…Simply mac manipulated my wife to get 800 bucks out of her. They didn’t perform a diagnostic as they were way off and yet they wouldn’t refund the 80 dollars to us.
First off, they have not updated on Google that they have moved locations. I would recommend they do so, so that other people looking for this storefront do not end up in a vacant store. Second off, I spoke with someone on the phone who said that they had Apple Watch chargers in stock. I drove 45 minutes out of my way to get this charger. When I arrived I found out that they did not have an Apple Watch charger in stock and the person who I had spoke to on the phone was wrong and had left the store by the time I got there. Seems like they were making excuses. I will not be back, the store was very clean.

The worst service possible. I drove 70 miles to have diagnostics done on my IPhone 8. I was told my phone had a bad speaker and I would need to replace the speaker and screen for the issue. I was also told there were no techs available this day and I would have to make an appointment, which I did. I returned (another 140 mile round trip) two days later for my appointment at which time I was told it wasn’t my speaker but the speaker enclosure and I would need to leave the phone for 10 to 14 days. When I asked why I was told something different than the first day I was told I ‘was given bad information’. They apologized, but two round trips worth of gas and time needs more than an apology.

Worst service I’ve ever had in my life in any store ever. I called and told them my laptop won’t respond or work. They said i have to bring it in to the store. I drove 40 mins to take it in. They told me in the store that they couldn’t even look at it or do anything to it. Basically told me to screw off. 🤬

Simply Mac fit me in on short noticed and fixed my sons iPad even though it did not seem probable to accomplish. The gentleman at the counter was very personable and they were very fast and efficient.
Pushy and rude staff. Took my computer in to have them fix it. Told me they could fix it for $100. I paid them $100. Turned it on and it wasn’t fixed. Took it back to have them look at it again. Was told they’d refund me if they couldn’t fix it. They couldn’t fix it and only refunded $20. Tried to sell my wife on overpriced items. They just want the commission. Will not be returning here ever again.

Associates are pleasant and helpful when they can actually help you, but that is the catch. Been in several times to get help and it’s a 20-30 minimum wait to have some one assist with your needs. Currently been waiting nearly an hour for a computer I dropped off yesterday afternoon that was supposedly going to be done end of day yesterday. Honestly, there is only one guy running the store and there is always at least a couple people waiting to be helped. Come on Simply Mac - IF, get some more people in here to help your customers!!!

Idaho Falls really needs an Apple Store. Since that isn’t an option, I would recommend making the trip to Salt Lake to go to Apple over Simply Mac in Idaho Falls.My husband’s laptop got knocked over by our cat, and the “white folder” error happened when we tried to turn it back on. (White screen with flashing folder icon w/ question mark on it). I took it in to Simply Mac the next day (a Monday) and the employee told me it should be a simple fix. They called a couple hours later and said the laptop was ready to be picked up. My husband then went in and got it, then decided to try to turn it on before he left town (we live about an hour from Idaho Falls). It started to work, then before he got through the setup process the “white folder” issue happened again. So he took it back to Simply Mac. The employee there told him that it could be a hardware issue, in which case Simply Mac would let us know and we could decide if we wanted to pay for the fix. This same employee also told my husband we would be refunded for what we already paid for (the $99.99 software fix they tried) if doing it again didn’t fix the laptop. My husband was told we’d be called by the end of the week.Well, Friday came and we hadn’t heard anything from Simply Mac. I called them, and the employee said it was working again and ready to be picked up. So, were they going to call..or..? Anyway, I went in to pick it up and decided to make sure it worked before leaving the store. I also wanted some Bluetooth headphones to use for phone calls in my car because my car Bluetooth has been acting up. I asked the employee what the prices were on their Bluetooth headphones that were hanging in the store. He asked if I had an iPhone, I said yes, and he started telling me the AirPods Pro were the ones to get. I said no, that’s outside my budget, and was going to explain what I need them for and he replied with “well it’s something I would start saving money for” uhm, do you not know what “budget” means? I have the money for AirPods, I’m just choosing not to spend $210 on headphones that will stay in my car and just be used for phone calls. It was just pretty off-putting that he decided to tell me to save money for something I had already expressed I didn’t want or need. And to suggest that by not wanting them meant I couldn’t afford them was pretty rude. So the laptop did the same “white folder” issue, and this employee then told me it was a hardware issue. He told me our options, and recommended buying a new laptop because ours is “very old, no relative about it” (after I had said our laptop was relatively old). So I said ok, well someone told my husband we could get a refund since that wasn’t the fix. He said he could give $20 back because the labor of trying to fix the software issue twice is worth $80. Cool. Sorry this is a long read, but if you’ve gotten this far I hope your take away is to spend the extra gas money and go to an actual Apple store. Not only was this employee condescending, but I paid $80 to have my laptop be returned in the exact same state it was given to them in. So to Simply Mac in Idaho Falls, thanks but we won’t be returning. And I’ll make sure to let all my Apple friends know. 🙂
Hi went to Simply MAC yesterday to try to get my daughters iPhone on locked because we could remember the code for it. Jake was awesome he not only reset the phone he also help with putting restrictions on the phone. Which was needed to help Monitor her phone. Terrible, terrible service. I have tried to get my Mac screen fixed (under warranty) about 5 times now, and its still not fixed. I would make an appointment and the tech guy would magically not be there that day. Another time I was there and he was too busy. Another time, he was taking inventory so he couldnt look at my computer. They have told me over and over again to come back tomorrow, but when I do come back tomorrow, the tech guy is not there or is too busy again. I only keep coming back because I purchased my laptop here otherwise I wouldnt bother. Last time I purchase ANYTHING from these guys. If it breaks, good luck pinning down this tech guy to fix it (I dont think he even exists!) Im afraid my warranty is going to run out by the time he takes a look at it!

What the heck? Just tell me the business is temporarily closed rather than leading me to another closed location!

I came to this store twice in the past to resolve issues with my devices and they did not disappoint me. I also made a phone call to explain the issue first, and the technician behind the phone was super helpful and knowledgeable on how to conduct the repair on the device. He made sure to consult with his coworkers too to make sure that what he was telling me was accurate. Now after the repair is done on my device by following their guidance, I would definitely recommend this place.
Service is terrible! Took forever to for them to tell me everything was lost on my computer. They were rude and would never answer the phone! The people in the store are clueless. I sent my hard drive to someone else and all my data was recovered!
I bought a brand new Mac Book for my son for Xmas when he opened it up we discovered it was not new but a used returned one. This was a little embarrassing. When first went back in to exchange they wanted to re wipe it and call it good. I explained I would really rather have a new like I paid for. It has been 2 months and nothing. Had to get my money back and son still has no Xmas present he needs for school.
Accidentally dropped my new iPhone 11 Pro & broke it. Apple Care covered it except the deductible & shipping on the screen protector. Simply Mac was able to replace it in about 3 days. Tanner Stoker was very helpful in backing up my broken phone to the cloud before changing the SIM card over to the new phone. He’s knowledgeable and very helpful. We didn’t have to wait the two times we went in 👍🏻😄
The guys at Simply Mac were able to quickly diagnose my iPhone’s problem and gave me a couple of options for repair or replace. They knew I would need proof of my screen protector at Verizon after the repair was completed so they saved it for me. The repair was done and back to me within the anticipated time frame, and the guys were super helpful making sure I was back up and running before I even left the store. So nice! Fantastic service! I bought a new iPhone from Verizon but the iOS was 2years old and the phone wouldn’t activate. I brought the phone to Simply Mac and the service reps were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They got us fixed up in a matter of minutes! After a very frustrating experience with Verizon, I was impressed with Simply Mac and would definitely recommend it for any of your Apple needs!

These guys have been great! The first visit was a little rocky. I went in to get my battery replaced. The got that done fairly quick but when I got my phone back the top part didn’t work. When I called to let them know, they were awesome about it. Ordered me a know phone, no hassle at all.I went back with my new iPad and got their in house warranty because of how well they handled that issue. Always nice and very helpful whenever I come in.

I had what I thought was a complicated request; however, between Mike and Jacob (I think thats his name), the request was completed in a very timely manner. They were easy to work with and very professional. A glitch on one of my computers was very quickly fixed personally by Mike. I give Mike and Jacob 5 stars, but because I have to leave a message almost every time I call, Im giving 4 stars for the phone system. I think they may be understaffed.
Michale was very patient with me. He gave me some good ideas for future storage on my Mac book Pro. He made a very stressful time much better.

Michael helped me today in the Idaho Falls Store. I had a serious problem with the computer. Michael patiently worked on my computer for several hours, and would not give up until the computer was working perfectly. He was extremely helpful and polite. I am an elderly lady with not much understanding regarding computers. He helped me to understand problems I had on my iPhone as well and showed me more simple ways to be able to use both my computer and iPhone. I appreciate his tremendous help. Thank you Karin Fry
I went in because my Apple Watch was connected to my old phone and I had a new iPhone. The sales manager, Cody, was very patient and took the time to explain it AND sync it to my new phone. Then I came back because my computer was having a hard time turning on and he was able to help me with that as well. All of the staff are very friendly and greet you right as you walk in
Great place if you go into the store don’t bother calling though you’ll NEVER get ahold of anyone there... was even told that they had a new phone system and it would be “completely operational on Wednesday”A week later and still no update no phone no one answers is it that hard to hire someone to answer the phone?
Second time using Simply Mac. First time in Utah. They took more than 3 weeks to give my cellphone back and didnt tell me that I could go to Salt Lake in Apple Store and fix my phone way faster!And here in Idaho Falls, they used my data to back up my account and didnt give my carrier chip back and than after 2 weeks waiting to get my phone back, they lost my chip I didnt try to do something!
Had a great experience, all three employees new what was wrong with my iPhone 7 and new what needed to be done to fix it. They were fast and courteous. Would recommend simply Mac after this experience.

A friend died and I was asked to get her Macbook unlocked. At first I was told they couldnt, but I called again and got the info. With proper docs they could. I dropped it off on a Friday and a few days later it was done. $69. All the folks were friendly and very helpful.

Phone system sucks. Very understaffed and easy to end up in an endless loop of no response to phone calls. If they were more proactive about progress on service work, there would be no need for multiple calls to ask about progress -- but days and days went by with no updates.
Bought a new laptop and could not get the email to work on it. Brought it in to Simply Mac and Cody quickly helped me and had the email working in a matter of minutes. GREAT SERVICE!!!

Customer service was great! They were going to replace my iPhone6 battery under warranty when they put the new battery in, the phone wouldn’t turn on so they over night’d a new phone! Highly recommend if you have an apple product
Incredibly frustrating experience, took my iPhone in for a battery replacement that was under warranty but they told me it wasnt. After figuring it out and realizing it was under warranty they took my phone and told me it would be ready in about two hours and they would call me when it was ready. Three hours later and no phone call, I go back in and my phone battery was replaced successfully. However they damaged the display of my iPhone in the process and for some reason did not feel like they should have given me a call, so now they are shipping my phone somewhere else to have it fixed. They gave me a loaner phone, which did not work, so I had to go back in and get a loaner phone that worked. Super disappointed by this place, if you have a problem with your iPhone just take it to the Apple Store in Utah, it will probably save you time.
I had a situation where I received my iPhone 6 and 3 hours later it had a bent corner which resulted in a shattered screen. This was all due to the phone sitting in my jacket front pocket while I ate dinner. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened to me from the parking lot into the restaurant and back to the car so I was absolutely in shock when I pulled out my phone after dinner. Since I live 4 hrs away from the nearest Apple store, I was recommended to take my phone to Simply Mac to evaluate it because obviously I couldnt receive a replacement by just my word, I get that. I went to the Idaho Falls location and the representative said, Shouldve bought the 5s. Why else would that comment be made if there hadnt already been a known problem with the new 6? As he took my phone, he showed his coworker and the coworker said how people claim bent phones when really the phones can handle lots of pressure. And from then on, the rep helping me was sticking to that comment because no matter how 100% truthful my story was, these two guys were insinuating that I was lying about my situation and HAD to have slammed my phone in the car door because Consumer Report has been testing the iPhone 6 and they havent been able to bend. First of all, just because the phones they tested didnt bend like customers have claimed, does not mean that it represents ALL phones made. There have clearly been faulty phones. I am a victim of that. I realize plenty of people lie about dropping their phone or whatever kind of accidental damage may have happened and they try and claim its a manufacturing issue to get a free phone, but this is not me. I felt discriminated in this store for being a female and they could walk all over me. I also felt degraded as they talked down to me and assumed I was lying. Heaven forbid you give someone the benefit of the doubt! My phone provider AND Apple gave me that and were personable. The guys I had to talk to-- quite the opposite. They never raised their voices, but their tones, facial expressions, and need to get me out of the store spoke volumes about this location. Now Im stuck with a broken phone I spent $350 for that I dont get to enjoy unless I pay at least $200 to replace it. Such a joke.

They are always helpful. If something does not work right, they will take care of the problem. It helps to keep all of your receipts. That makes it easier for everyone if there is a problem. I had a problem with a peripheral I bought. I traded it for a better one that cost about the same. It was a win/win situation.They have since moved their store across the street and down the road to the same mall area as Cabellas and Hobby Lobby on 25th East, but they are in the food court area north of those businesses.

Signed up for a replacement battery for my iphone and was put on waiting list. Did not hear back for 2 months. Called store 3 times and left messages, but never got a call back. (Never talked to a live person.) Finally went into store. Staff was helpful and apologetic when they noticed how long it took and that they did not contact me when the battery came in.In general, Apple Stores and Simply Mac are disappointing experiences.
Good when it’s not too busy. I’ve bought my last few MacBooks and iPads here, and I’m happy to support local so we can continue to maintain their specific Apple support services in town, but every time I stop in to try to give them my business I wait to be acknowledged and then they don’t have what’s needed. Getting more and more frustrating and I’ll likely skip it altogether next time.

I bought a Macbook Pro in January 2019. I am completely new to Mac. I love my i-phone, and I love that phone/computer sync together. Contacts appear both places. There are a few windows features I miss, like delete key (delete to right), and END.This trip yesterday to simply mac was to purchase cables, lightning, magic trackpad2, magic keyboard and dock station so I can access information from other sources and stream movies to TV. The magic keyboard even has end and delete (to the right!) It helps a lot. The salesman, Matt H. was very helpful and knowledgeable. He also gave me some tips on using my Mac! I just stood in this store for twenty minutes without the three people working here even acknowledging me. Each of them had the opportunity also. I usually come here and am happy, but twenty minutes without anyone even saying we will be with you in a minute will make it so I don’t want to come back.

My iPhone 5s was having connection issues. The rep told me all the options and didnt pressure me with any of them. He even let me know something I could try on my own to fix the problem. I tried it and it solved the issue. I was able to get my problem solved without spending any money. I just needed a little advice from someone with experience. I was pleased Simply Mac offered such free advice without being pushy. I had a good experience in this case.
Went in to get my iPhone battery replaced but can’t even get an appointment to get it fixed...I’ve been trying everyday for a week with no luck! The employee, Lincoln, said I just need to keep checking online to get an appointment or pay an added fee (can’t remember the amount but it would make my battery be 3x the cost) to get in sooner. Poor customer service that I just have to hope to get in and can’t get on the schedule in advance.

They always greet me upon arrival and ask if I need assistance. Most of their staff is knowledgeable. They are willing to do what they can to help. Never leave disappointed.
Not sure if it’s the Mac store or apple but either way, they have terrible customer service. My phone was affected by the newest update and needed to be sent off to apple to be completed, well instead of sending it off immediately like it should have been, they waited till the next day. Possibly two days later because my husband was still able to see my location and it was showing up there two days later. They could have referred us to Verizon who would’ve been able to set up a temporary phone for the 2 weeks it was going to be gone but instead said there was no replacement phone. They never got ahold of my husband to let him know it was back, he was just in the area and decided to swing by and they had it. I had a screen protector on my phone when I sent it in, and when he picked it up they had taken it off, given me back that protector which is now unusable and didn’t even bother replacing it. Not happy at all about the whole situation.
They helped me upgrade my hard drive and transfer all of my data to the new hard drive. They also were super fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and all around feel of the employees there. They really seemed to know their stuff.
I went into the Idaho Falls location on 11/29 with some problems with my MacBook Pro. Having trouble turning it on, garbled symbols on documents in Pages and couldnt log on to Gmail. Jacob (I think that was his name) went over all the problems, explained everything and had all the issues resolved within 15-20 minutes and I was on my way, a very happy customer!!!

They didnt answer my questions. They took my phone for 30-45 minutes without telling me what they were doing. Upon getting my phone back I was told they had taken it apart without my knowledge or approval to do so. My phone has since been shutting off randomly and and now has completely froze black and wont turn on or restart. The initial problem that I went in for wasnt even addressed. I will not return.
