I have gone to this location for my eye exams, a new pair of glasses for myself, husband, and son, as well as our contact lenses. They are all friendly and when we have brought our kids they have helped to entertain them. The optometrists are personable and answer any questions you have. They also have a great selection of glasses- I chose a Michael Kors pair. I will be going back when its time for a new pair of glasses to get a Tiffany pair 😁

Dr. Schrick is a wonderful man who has helped my family for years now, and Terrance in the front is an absolutely lovely individual, helping me above and beyond as I simply was picking up glasses. This may just be a place at the sketchy mall, but I will never hesitate to go just to support these guys ❀️

When I arrived at my appointment, the receptionist informed me that they do not take my insurance so she gave up my appointment. She claimed to have called me three times (none of which registered on my phone nor my voicemail). I told her I never received it; however, during this time, I received emails and texts confirming my appointments. She refused to work with me. Never going there again.

I went in for my appointment to be told I was there the wrong day and it was scheduled for the following Monday. How embarrassing! The lady was kind and told me to sit tight while she checked with the DR. to see if she could squeeze me in. They laughed with me about my mistake and within ten minutes took me back for my eye test. The outcome was what I expected, but not what I hoped, and I was told I need glasses. I was sent back the front with my prescription to find frames and to discuss pricing and insurance. Mike was AMAZING to say the least! Being an almost 40 year old female and getting glasses for the first time, he turned an uncomfortable situation into a fun one. He spent close to an hour with me trying on frames, telling me the difference of style with my head, the way they should sit on my face, what colors looked good... and not so good with my hair & skin tone and so on. I bet I tried on over 35 pair of glasses and not one single time did he rush me or act like I was taking too long. He was honest, respectful, professional and funny. When it came to sitting down to go over my prescription and lense he was very detailed in explaining everything to me (I guess bifocals are a little tricky to get used to). I know that it is his job to assist one getting glasses but Mikes customer service was beyond excellent. I felt like I was there with a friend, not a stranger. It was obvious he enjoys his job and is there to help people fully, that isnt something you get walking into businesses much these days.Thank you so much, I look forward to continuing working with you, Mike. Keep blessing people with your kindness and helpful personality.

I had a great experience at Lens Crafters. The doctor was awesome, she was very thorough and answered all my questions. She took her time and I would go back to see her.The process to get my glasses was very easy as well, told them which insurance I had and they told me which frames to pick from and how much myInsurance was going to cover. It was fast and professional and would use again. This was the Lens Crafters in the Independent center.

Very pleasant experience. I am a former Sears patient but after they closed, I had to find another eye doctor. I was pleasantly surprised at this location. It was large, organized and the ladies were helpful. My son and I got a great pair of glasses ordered today. I cant wait until they come in. Ill be making an appointment for my dad next month. Weve found our new spot.

I drove out here, asked questions and was clearly interested in purchasing glasses. The associate I called over answered my questions curtly, told me to leave the glasses I tried on in a tray so they could be cleaned and left. I was the only customer.Check out Warby Parker, I bought progressives with transition lenses & bells and whistles for less than $500. They are welcoming and friendly. Free parking on the Plaza.

Pushed and pushed me to buy bifocals and misled me and said my rx had changed so much that only bifocals would work. Charged extra 300. Got them and they had 2 gashes in lenses I did not like them and when I wanted to return them they made me feel like it was my fault they didnt work. I wasnt holding my head right and I pushed them to close to my nose. Bs. Worse thing is they charged my insurance 2x for my exam. Didnt think I would catch it but I looked on my explanation of benefits and they had overcharged my insurance. Called them out on it and they said they had no idea how it happened and blamed it on someone in another office. As far as I know they still havent reimbursed my ins. I only get so much on allowance and they royally screwed me. I will never go back nor recommend them at all.

THE EMPLOYEE THAT HELPED ME WAS TERRIBLE. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PANDEMIC AND SHE DIDNT TAKE IT SERIOUS AT ALL. SHE TOLD ME SHE ALREADY HAD COVID AND THAT HER SYMPTOMS WAS FROM A SINUS INFECTION. SHE KEPT TOUCHING AND PUTTING HER HANDS ALL OVER THE OUTSIDE OF HER MASK. SHE WANTED TO TOUCH MY FACE TO STRAIGHTEN IT UP AND I BACKED AWAY FROM HER. HER RESPONSE WAS THAT COVID IS AIR BORNE, BESIDES SHE HAS ALREADY HAD IT. I ASKED HER IF SHE WAS ON ANTIBIOTICS FOR THE SINUS INFECTION AND SHE SAID NO, NOT YET. WELL SHE IS CONTAGIOUS FROM THAT IF SHE TRULY HAD A SINUS INFECTION. I COULD TELL SHE WAS UPSET AND SHE SAID I HAVE TO DO MY JOB, I SAID JUST SANITIZE YOUR HANDS OR PUT GLOVES ON AND I COULD SEE THAT SHE WAS MORE UPSET. SHE PUT GLOVES ON BUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AFTER THAT. I WAS THE ONE THAT SAID TO HER I DIDNT MEAN TO OFFEND YOU, IM JUST BEING CAREFUL. BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I AM THE CUSTOMER, SHE SHOULD BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECT MY WISHES, THATS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT. I’ve been shopping around to find a store to buy glasses. I’ve had a few bad encounters unfortunately before with other companies before I found LensCrafters. Very happy. Lori took her time with me and helped me narrow down my selection. Her explanations and customer service were so appreciated. Think I found my new place to shop! Highly recommend.

Do NOT waste your time. Went with my daughter to get her contacts. They gave her two trial pairs to try before her next appointment. Both bothered her. I called to pick up different trials to try before her follow up. I was transferred twice until they told me to stop in to get different trial pairs. So I drove there the next day to get them. They told me the eye exam side was closed for the day, surprise.... no trials for me to pick up. Left my number for them to call me....surprise again, no one called me. So my daughter goes there the next day and they tell her they dont have time to give her different trial pairs, but they will schedule her for another day. I am done with them. They waste your time and run you around in circles. Be professional and follow up with your customers. My advice - go to a real optometrist.

I have gone there for five years and found the optometrist and staff terrific. I am completely satisfied with the experience. I have a very large correction and use bifocals and the prescriptions I have received have been the best I have ever gotten and I have been wearing glasses for nearly 60 yrs.

I would give a negative 100 stars if I could. I left without glasses in the end. I think you over charge on glasses and lenses that are contracted with the State of Missouri. I was covered for an eye exam and 300.00 toward frames and lenses, I was going to have to settle for frames from the wall that people try on and regular bifocal lenses with no extras and still was going to be out of pocket. I did get my money back and cancelled the order. This is the slowest place I have ever been to in my life. It shouldnt take hours for an eye exam and to pick out glasses! I would NEVER step foot in this store EVER again. SLOW AND OVERPRICED IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.

The doctor is a hoot! Genuinely enjoys people and it shows. My glasses always arrive quickly. On the retail side its reminiscent of buying a car for some reason. Seems more complicated it should be but they are in sales. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable though. Ill continue to be a repeat customer.

After struggling with varying prescriptions for 10 YEARS...today Dr. Fisher quickly figured out the real issue! She is AMAZING! Finally an eye center that doesn’t just throw you new prescription and make you waste hundreds of dollars for new glasses! I couldn’t be happier!

I agree they are not family friendly and you wouldnt expect that since they are inside the mall. I just had an appointment at the doctors office and I will not go back or give Lens crafters any of my business. My insurance pays 100% as well. So thats easy money that they are missing out on. I dont need their business its the other way around. I already have two pairs of glasses I was just going to get my eyes check because its time for my yearly checkup but Im not in a rush and I will find a new eye doctor that wants my easy money.

This was the the worse eye experience of my life. I left there after my exam and explaining that my contacts didnt feel correct with no resolution. Being 5 months pregnant and feeling like your going to fall and your depth perception is off is a very unsettling feeling.The sales lady only kept defending the Dr and stated that he dr had been there 19 years and believed her. Im glad she has been there 19 years but Im the customer and you need to listen to my concerns.Also there was a specific pair of frames I was looking for and at I had to ask Cindy to check other locations to see if they were available, she wanted me to call, again Im the paying customer.Now Im faced with dealing with this poor service or paying out of pocket $155 for a different eye exam since my insurance was basically just blown.Terrible, terrible, terrible they do not listen to patient concerns.

The Doctor is unprofessional, and the equipment is outdated. The screen with the letters on it never changes, so you memorize it before the exam is half way over with. I need to see different screens to test my vision, but they do not offer that. I had to go back and get a second prescription, because the first one he gave me was incorrect. They did not act as though they cared. I will never use them ever again. Rude people. The 2nd experience was so uncomfortable, I told myself that if it does not workout this time, then I will cut my losses, because I never want to see these people ever again.

Then actual Lenscrafters is great. The doctors office staff is horrible and because the dr is independent of Lenscrafter they cant do much. I have 6 people in my family if I can get several of us into back to back appointments I jump on that! Less time I have to take off from work and time my kids miss from school. My insurance covers 100%. I made appointments a month and a half out. They call me 3 days before and say I have to give them my credit card to put on file to hold my appointments. I can only schedule 2 appointments at a time. Anything more then that requires a credit card. Im not going to give them my card information when they will have no need to charge. I already have babysitters lined up and schedules set. They cancelled my appointments and said I could go somewhere else. I definitely am. They just lost the business of 6 people with insurance that pays 100%. No concern if bills will be paid. Easy money. This place will be great for single people just not for families.
