We stopped to the outpost by luck, it was amazing to feed the animals, and this genuine Australian guy was so friendly, we spent more than an hour speaking with him and try so many different sample of his own beer and cider.We wish we could stay longer.If tour trip brings you to this side of shetland you definitely need to stop here and talk to him.

Dave is an absolute legend, we had the very best time at the Outpost and were looking forward to being back soon! Definitely stop by if youre in Shetland and want to enjoy a unique experience.

Impressive selection of home brewed ciders, some more lethal than others (beware of the 7 chilli cider!) Entertaining host, plenty of critters eager to be fed which kept our girls busy. Well definitely be back.

A wee gem of a place. So friendly and they even have some amazing animals out the back.

Peaceful settings and the owners are always helpful and welcoming. The animals are fab too.
