I’ve been going here for years I’m 17 and I can’t even think about how long I have been a daily customer here. It really upsets me to read the comments that are being said about the co-owner of this beauty supply. I have been going to this beauty supply for years me, my sister, and my mom. We have gotten nothing but great service here. The owner and co- owner are nothing but nice to people and they give back to the community. This beauty supply sales great quality items for affordable prices. They care about you and your safety and follows all the Covid guidelines. The people that work there makes everyone feel like family and makes everyone feel so welcome. I love coming Expo it’s the only beauty supply I like and trust. They Help you any and every question you have. They give you a all around 5 Star experience.The lady everyone is talking about on these reviews is a sweet and kind lady. She has one of the most purest hearts. And is nowhere near the bad person they are trying to make her out to be. I love her with all my heart because she is such good person. And it saddens me that people are trying to terrorize her image. Go to this beauty supply. It’s worth it a 1000%!!!❤️

The best experience ever this store is always well stocked and has whatever you need. The owners have step back and handed over the store to their niece who is lovely knowledgeable very professional something you dont get a lot of these days. I applaud her for giving back to the community by staying not selling out and making sure that the store is well stocked. Her young staff members are also professional mannerable and eager to help you find what you need. Please support the exceptional black owned business you wont be sorry.

My niece and my self went into this beauty supply to buy a wig The light shin woman was horrible I told my niece after a while lets go because shes rude mind you Im a senior no respect started screaming at me and kept telling me to get out as we were leaving. This lady is. Off as 2 left shoes. Never will I ever go back to that store. Even the Asian people thats there some times treat you better. The community should get her close. I guess because she is light skin gives her privilege to talk to people any kind of way. I ran a beauty salon over 20 yrs and never never teated people like this. Unjust does not profit😞😞

Every time I shop in this store the ladys are very helpful and professional. It’s good to know that black owned companies within the neighborhoods are giving great service. I’ll definitely will be returning!!

Bundle hair was terrible. I paid $235 for a 28 26 24 and a 14 inch closure for the wife. The hair constantly sheds and gets matted quickly . It hasn’t even been a month and she has lost about 4 inches in length from trying to detangle the hair, and when we brought the hair in last week, the employee was nonchalant and dismissive .

Every time I come to this beauty I receive horrible customer service.The light skin lady who works there does not know how to treat customers at all, she follows you all around the store and ask you a lot of questions as if she’s interested in what you want but she’s really just watching you. I tried to give her chance after chance by coming to her store but she fails every time.The last time I went her store due to Covid she had a table blocking the door and she said she needed time to sanitize the whole store. I never heard of that before at all so it puzzled me and I had a comment which related to her horrible customer service in the past. Her employee must Of heard me and relayed the message because she begin to let us know we had to wait outside a little longer but we were OK with that.She came to the door five minutes later and pressed me as if we were in the 10th grade. BUT Mind you she in her 60s I’m 20s so there was no need to get disrespectful with me and the not show me any service at all. If anything, she should be trying to work on what I’m complaining about instead she’s worried about the exact words coming out of my mouth. BLACK WOMEN, if you don’t wanna have to sock a b**** DONT EVA EVA EVA EVA EVA shop at this hair store again !!!!!!!!! And if this woman tries to put “ Fake, False & Fabricated “ under my post know she’s lying. It’s was the loud tall Lightskin lady w/ synthetic curly hair that runs that shop. Now y’all be easy ! 😂

On 01/02/21 I purchased a mannequin tripod, when I got it home it pulled it out of the box it was still in the plastic wrapping. part of it was broke. So I took it back to your store on 01/09/21. Your general manager assisted me. Im very unhappy with her customer service skills. When I explained to her about the defective product she got loud and very unprofessional insinuating that I broke it.She got loud and stated that none of your products have defects and everything in the store isnt broke. I asked her how would she know that if all the boxes are not open. She brought me another box and opened it to try and prove to me that I must have broken it. She has no five- star customer service skills, she showed no empathy toward customers, I have been a customer at your store since day 1. And its people like her that will ruin your faithful customers off. In closing I feel she needs to be more sensitive to the customers, act like a professional, and show empathy.Sincerely: Unhappy customer.

Been coming to this place for years and the prices are very expensive they treat you unprofessional and the store is leaking from the ceiling, they don’t have a Large selection of clearance hair, clip in hair, New hair, They only have 1 wig lady, and they need more employees. Please update and upgrade this store.

This lady is rude and nasty she accuse me of taking a picture and all I wanted to do was see before I paid all the money for the wig if it was going to knot up I was just looking for a review and she rolled her eyes at me after I nicely explain that I was not taking a picture do not spend our black dollars here. They hate us!

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE A DEBIT CARD IN HERE WITH A PIN. I went calling myself supporting a black own store. I spent 80 bucks in there an another $25 on a debit. I wanted to use the debit as credit but the black girl insisted I needed to put a pin number in. It wasnt even an hour and $260 bucks was pulled out of my account. I was back and forth with my bank about this and finally got my money back after 6 months disputing. My mother goes in there all the time but uses cash. If you go in there please DO NOT USE A DEBIT CARD PIN NUMBER. PLEASE!!! THEY WILL STEAL YO MONEY!!

I was in expo beauty today and the light skinned girl with the beautiful hair gave me nothing but great customer service. I felt very safe in her store due to covid 19. She has the best wigs and beauty supplies. Im reading some of these reviews and these people sound like nothing but haters!! And there was another tall model looking girl in the store that also gave me great customer service. I feel very safe going in that store they follow all covid guidelines. I will always come back to this store and shop. She got some bomb human hair lace front wigs. And the store is very clean and organized! So all you haters stop hating! Cause by these false reviews the hate seems real!!

The lady behind the counter is rude no customer service skills at all I try and support black businesses as much as I can but I was very disappointed with my experience in this store I will not be back. On crenshaw and century the light skin lady behind the counter you shouldnt have an attitude with customers whatever the case maybe the customer is always right and with that said I hope you learn to respect your customers more an based on all the negative reviews I read its a shame you are still in business. -Respectfully a unhappy customer

I moved out here to Inglewood from Houston, Texas about a year ago and started going to this beauty supply since it was next door to my job. I Love this shop!!! The owners of the shop are nothing but polite and genuine to every single customer. I’m also glad the owners decided to switch up the look and dynamic of the store.I love Expo Beauty and I only Shop at Expo Beauty!

Owners are very mean and extremely paranoid they think everybody who enters there store has come to steal and thats annoying, humiliating and offensive. They pretend there not the owners so they cannot accept returns insulting my intelligence. They asked me to hand my purse over to them. I ride 10 to 15 minutes away to other hair stores to avoid supporting this place they are truly my last resort.

My experience with the cashier there was horrible I will never step foot in that store again. I had my hand out for my item I was purchasing and she threw it on the counter that was very rude and there prices are much higher than other beauty outlet. We don’t have to spend our money and be disrespected at the same time.😡😡😕😕😔😔😡

The owner was watching me from the moment I walked in and rushed me even though no one else was in the store. She then proceeded to stand over my shoulder and stare at me (about 4ft away) until I finally purchased the items I was holding out of pressure and discomfort; I didn’t even get the chance to get what I actually came for. I dont appreciate being racially profiled (especially in this current political climate) and I will not be shopping here again; if I could rate less than one star I would. Spend your money where they don’t discriminate against their target demographic.

I got ripped off here. The owner or manager said she was giving me a deal on a 10” lace frontal. The price was already marked up so I figured ok really im paying normal price. Not the case. When I examined the closure in the light I noticed that it is completely see through. Its about %50 density. Absolutely useless. The only thing this is good for is making an old lady look like she has naturally balding hair. There are litterally bald spots. You can’t part it without exposing an inch of lace. I wasted my money because now I need a new one that isn’t as thin as an 80 year olds hair. To add to it, a place two miles away offered me a better quality closure for $15 cheaper. Not cool. The prices here depend on the color of your skin and social class. Thats why they insist on seeing you in person before telling u any prices. Don’t shop here.

Light skinned woman is rude, abrasive and free with her mouth. If a customer is unsure of what they want she simply moves on to those that do. First time and last time in this place. No customer service. Sorry I have to give one Star. Should be ZERO.

If I could give a zero I would! Pretty disappointed with this beauty supply. I have been here several times and the first couple times I felt the service and quality were good. Then, this last couple times, I was sold some horrible wigs and told I was given the “10%” discount yet when I got to the register and was rang up it was still the same price. Then bought a face mask and she said she forgot to charge me for it so I gave him cash. I go to my car and look on my receipt and there are no prices for what anything actually was, so he probably overcharged for everything. It’s my fault for not being more direct and asking but I will never spend another dime in that place. They lost a frequent shopper!!

I’ve been living in the area for just about a Year & I came across this beauty supply as I was leaving Rainbow clothing store and I normally don’t like to try new places, I like what I like and will travel the distance to go to my regular beauty supply, however I’m glad I did go inside... The customer service alone is amazing and that alone will have me coming back. I never know what I want and they are very knowledgeable and the older lady that’s there from time to time is really funny and always engages with my girls whom are ( my daughter 11 & 2 nieces 11 & 14)They have everything for all hair... which I like cause we all pretty much have different textures... and also the girls love to hear the lady speak Korean and they are really inspired by her and now makes an effort to start learning different languages... My New Beauty Supply Home☺️ Ps... I work in customer service and I always provide the best customer service possible so when you walk into establishments and the customer service is awesome, it really means something these days. Kindness goes along way

The light skinned lady in the back of the store was rude and dismissive when I asked her could she show my sister a wig she said yep but she NEVER looked up to help us. We stood there for more than thirty minutes in front of her while she brushed wigs chewing gum. We left the store empty handed and went to another beauty supply to spend our money.

I went into the store on Saturday Dec. 14th to buy my daughter some supplies and I literally fail in love at first sight.Tall, beautiful, light skinned with long hair and smart. What a woman, she captivated me with her smile and charm. I rate her customer service top notch and look forward to doing more business with her. My daughter loved the products and I hope that beautiful lady is single as I will shoot my shot. My dream come true was standing upon me .

The Lady Who Claims To Be The Owner Of This Business Is Very UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE & INCONSIDERATE!!! She Got Upset With Me Because I Discovered A Discrepancy On My Receipt And Ask For The Diffrence In Pricing Back, Then She Tried Quoting Me Another Price From The Price That Was Advertised, She Then Returned My Change By Pretty Much Tossing It On The Counter With A Major Attitude...I In Return Asked Her For A Refund And She Told Me Very Loud & Rudely IM NOT GIVING YOU BACK NOTHING, GET OUT OF MY STORE She Will Be Receiving A Notice From The Better Business Bureau!!! I went inside to buy some eyeliners for my makeup class I was doing in Thousand Oaks, and when I got home to test them out, there was no product inside!! I came back to the store, showed my receipt and the light skinned staff member said that we don’t do exchanges or refunds. Don’t go to their business.

The owner cheats their customers by over charging I went here to buy five dollar hair grease and edge holder and they over charged my card what was supposed to be 10 or 15 tdollars turned out to be 20$ if u want hair products .Dollar mania is better they dont over charged they dont deserve a whole star, just half a star!

Awesome selection here but I guess they get robbed alot.The tall light complexioned lady with the pretty long hair will follow and watch you. Myself, 13yr old daughter and 3yr old son walked over from rainbow next door. We had bags. The lady came to ask if we had any questions. Came off as having good customer service at first but then she lingered. We were getting braiding hair. She wouldnt leave us alone to decide what color hair to get. Nevertheless I purchased the hair. Went back a few days later to get hair for myself because they do have a great selection, I had a hoodie on (bad mistake) as soon as I stepped in the door her face frowned up. My bad for lookin suspect cause I was on my way to the shop and my hair was a mess..

I noticed her throw a paid product in a customers face also shes charging peoples credit cards after they leave the store shes very rude maybe stealing and blaming it on other people pretending that they have done something wrong refuses to provide customer service before they can even take a look around while hovering over them she needs to be reported to the BBB.
