The store uses some really cheap plastic bag rolls for veggies and other loose items. It is very hard to open these sticky bags and I saw almost everyone struggle with it. Worst of all, I saw a few remove their masks and touch their saliva with their fingers and used the wet hands to open the bags. They used the same hands to pick and choose veggies. Such a nasty habit and a terrible lack of hygiene during this pandemic. All this caused by a cheap plastic bag! I informed their customer service about the seriousness of the issue and they just heard me and moved on to some phone calls. If you want to preserve your health, just stay away from the store.
Good but need line management more better way, very slow.
It’s my go-to store to buy Vegetables, snacks, Indian spices. Store is well organized easyto find all the items.vegetables are fresh .. I think they stock every Thursday.. this is when I buy fresh veggies. Whatever you buy you will get points on that. Also on special occasions like Diwali you will find crackers and during holo you can get colors ..best for Grocery shopping
Most of the items in the store are, There is no prices marked under the item.Wait for surprises when you get go registers,. Certain item priced items are not ringing up the same price as they are posted.
It is the best place for indian grocery. We love it.
Not a great variety of choices, most of the products brand you will probably have never heard of. Items on the aisles is pushed out and not properly arranged. I would only go if its emergency otherwise better off with Patel Brothers. Most of the items is near to expiry dates. I guess they are trying to get rid of old stuff and make extra money. Not recommend.
It was Great! No restaurant foods to go today. No Roti! Was packed in the store and prices were a little higher than other India stores.
A very good store to get Indian products. One can get things from utensils, Deities worshipping items, fruits, vegetables, spices, condiments, oil, ghee, various types of rice, pulses, flour and number of small small items too.Has wheelchair accessible parking and entrance too.Staff is courteous and helping.
24 hours availability is a great service to community . this is in a perfect location. Now they reduced the number of working hours but still convenient nearly all day. They also give reward points ( you get 20 dollar off for every 500 points ) . adjacent you have restaurants ice cream shops and gas stations and jewelry stores too.
Wonderful Market especially for the Eastern Spices and Curry Leaves that I love to cook with. I do think that the staff could be more friendly and they do carry a lot of nice shampoos but no conditioners lol. All in all its a great market.
Been to their veggies section only but they have a decent to good variety of vegetables. Felt they were pricier than patel bros a bit
Good clean store where we get all the Indian groceries we are looking for. The pressure cookers are very expensive though.
You can shop all Indian groceries, produce, snacks and sweets, nostalgic stuff from your childhood street corner shops
If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. They have the rudest cashiers. No sense of customer service. I would recommend Hello India or Patel brothers. Cashiers have been trained to insult the customers when asked for price adjustment. Absolutely disgusting to call it INDIA bazaar.
All Indian groceries and Indian things at one place, you will be surprised to see the crowd. Choose your timings wisely.
No commentsObviously it’s so big and well maintained fresh stockEmployees are so helpful hereAlways buy 4lb above any grains because it’s good and cheap
Lack of staff is big problem here at checkout, Long lines. But their reward program is very good.
Very nice place to buy grocery. all vegetarian foods are available here.
Great place to have India groceries. You get fresh vegetables especially Indian ones like Karela, Dudhi(Lauki), Pudian, Kaddu, Small eggplants, choliya and many many other veggies. You get all types of lentils, namkeens, biscuits, and various other snacks, paneer, indian juices. You can buy India cutleries and pressure cookers even here. You get cosmetics from India here, toothpastes, and all other indian branded products that you can think of.
Very bogus service. I bought rice bag and rice is expired. They didn’t return and wasted my time
Here I am sharing my one of the worst experiences with one of Famous Indian Grocery Shop in Irving MacArthur area *India Bazaar* .They sell clay pots and I was looking for one. So took one clay pot with Handel and try checking. But due to broken Handel it fell from my hand and broke. I took broken pieces to cashier and told honestly what happened and she said let me talk to my manager. Lady manager came in and said tell her to pay for broken.I talk to her and said its not fair and did not want to argue more so said will pay half price. But Lady manager was rude and not helpful at all.I paid for honesty
I shop here almost every week and it pretty much has all the Indian grocery items. Fresh vegetables. Middle of the week usually has more fresh veggies compared to the weekends and less crowded too. The place is maintained well. The staffs are friendly and helping. My only concern is it would be nice if they had smaller bags of rice as well.
Like it, however items need to be priced correctly and shown in display properly as the item and price dont match in most cases. I bought a few items which had a price stuck in the aisles but when I billed them the price was way too high, so do not go by the price tag stuck in the aisles, they are very misleading!
I love India Bazaar!! If you need bulk spices, nuts, raisins, dried fruits you truly can’t beat their prices! Even if you aren’t going for Indian cuisine, or grocery. I was buying spices at Walmart and paying $5 for small bottle and now I get 6 oz bags of spices for less. Plus so many specialty items, and every day basics for Indian cooking. Truly the best grocer in Dfw and very very friendly service!! Thanks India Bazaar!! Hope to see you expand more into online and delivery!! Love you! Oh and the frozen shrikhand, and the points program and also the precut veggies are really great! I also love the variety of exotic produce!! ♥️♥️
The store is clean and has a variety of items you will not find in other grocery stores around the area. I did notice that vegetables are generally cheaper than most stores and the imported items from Asia were a bit more expensive than other with similar items.Customer service was good and store was fully stocked .Plenty of parking.
An Indian store for buying Groceries and vegetables. Vegetables are fresh and comparatively cheap when compared to other stores. if you are visiting friday night and weekends, you can find fresh vegetables. you can find lot of indian snacks. weekdays billing will be slower and weekends you can get billed immediately. separate counter for billing less than 10 items. you will earn points for each purchase. You can get Crackers on Diwali.
One stop to get all indian stuff. I have been shopping at this store for 3 years now. Like it more than patel or subzi mandi. I find veggies here are fresh and priced at the lower end. Shelves are generally cleanly packed with visible price tag. This place is well maintained but mostly over crowded, so billing line is huge. I have no complains with cashiers. I would recommend it.
There was sufficient merchandise even a week after the terrible ice storm. The staff was very considerate. The prices were a bit high and there needs to be more check-out lanes open on weekend nights. Otherwise, its a great place for Indian grocery in this area.
Its almost always crowded but you get most of the indian cooking ingredients here.
Good stuff earlier. not usually seeing fresh vegetables these days
Its a good place for indian groceries. But the prices have been on the higher side that past year or so. They had lower prices than the other stores in the area. But now, its in the same price range or even more expensive . They had a good rewards option($20 reward for every $500 spent). But they changed it to $20 per $2000 if I remember correctly. Its ridiculous. Their restrooms are generally blocked and not clean. The worst part is you cant lock the restrooms(only know about mens restroom).
Great store with a wide variety. I have never seen so many varieties of rice in any other Indian store.
Good fresh vegetables, staff are friendly
Good place for all Indian groceries and items
Poor service, they used to be much better. Sad to say after years of buying groceries here we are going to another place
Crowded during weekends. Apt place for getting all indian and nepali food items.
BOYCOTT India Bazaar I say. They don’t stand behind their product. And are STiNGY and devoid of customer servicePurchased an ice cream that I find out upon reaching home had ice over it, bad taste that I won’t eat even if paid to do so. Did not have ingredients it had on labelReluctantly they offer 50%. I threw that offe back at them and left the product with them to eat. Or worse who knows they might even put it back on shelf as I don’t trust themOther Indian grocers are not that “Lichad”
Great place for asian foods and spices. Can be found various kind if typical spices from different asian countries such as nepal india pakistan bangladesh. Good thing is about indi bazar point card. If you are going for first dont forget to ask for membership card for point collection of every purchase
Go there often. Nice selection and availability!
Here I am sharing my one of the worst experiences with one of Famous Indian Grocery Shop in Irving area *India Bazaar* .Last I bought a plastic red color bucket of 18 litter which price is $7.99 for use at bath time. After purchase, In home we realize that it has no channel at of its bottom for passing outside water through bathtub outlet. So we plan for return it as it is not useful for us.Today I visited in India Bazaar to return this item but they didnt accept the return and they are arguing that not taking any return for COVID-19 unless if the product has quality issue! So I asked her do you accept if I intentionally damage it?It is really very vague reason which is not acceptable for me. I cant under stand what is relation with COVID-19 and bucket which is never used!Where should I complain and address this issue when the business are running with 100 percentage capacity and without minimum measurement of COVID-19 safe practices?I want to reach the India Bazaar Management team!I have couple of more concerns regarding their business!!
They have fresh supply of most of the houseHold indian grocery stuff.
Frozen stuff is not kept well. I got frozen stuff yesterday and it was all bad
An Asian grocery outlet with most of the products from the Indian subcontinent. The vegetables are priced nominally, however, the groceries are a bit expensive is how I would say these people have priced their products. Some items are not available throughout even the items not being seasonal.Lapsi a dried spiced plum from Nepal is sold here and when I returned to buy the stuff again I found the item to be unavailable most of the times.
Great place for shopping indian household products and foods.
Good indian grocery selection, including fresh veggies, frozen food, breads, fast food choices and wide range of Indian grocery spices, grains rice etc.Currently offers curbside and home delivery. But doesnt offer using reward points on online orders, which could be offered.
Wait time is high during peak hours
EXPENSIVE COOKING OIL: 1 Ltr of Canola oil priced at $5.99 in India Bazaar while in SAMS club you can get 2 x 2.84 ltr Canola Oil for $7.28, so now think your self how pricely is this place.GOOD FOR VEGETABLES: vegetables price are fair.EXPENSIVE MILK: Milk will cost you $3.99 in india bazar where as in SAMs club it cost $2.92.Conclusion: Its better to buy Oil, rice, vegetables like onion, lemon from SAMS club than India baazar. It saves you money but there are some item which you may find in fair price in India Bazaar.
Greetings of the Day !IB has a variety of Freshest Vegetables with affordable prices.I must say that the following staff are Very Professional and Courteous:1. Ms. Rinku (HR)2. Mr. Anwer Hussain (Customer Service)They are the Assets of India Bazaar Group. Hats-Off to the Management for a Great Interest in recruiting these staff to serve the DFW Community. With Personal Regards,--ISMAIL
They have increase cost like anything than any other Indian super market
Nice Indian grocery store.
My first impression was good. They have a lot of things that Ive never seen before and what I do recognize, the prices were very competitive.
A hub for desi customers with almost all the essentials required to put an Indian style food on plate.
Always a good experience. Well stocked and nicely organized. Theres a store points system too. Plenty of checkout lanes. Would have given 5* if not for the adulterated Amul ghee I got in August 2020 (refused return because I opened the tin in Oct).
We go there on our regular groceries, its good place to buy asian products.....
Good place for the Indian groceries even though they are costly still they have all the needed things
We can get all type of Indian veggies and groceries here..
Nice stock of vegetables and desi items.
Friendly staff and high selections for Indian groceries.
Like the late hour shopping here.
Ndia Bazaar is selling expensive in texas but selling very cheap in Chicago in the name of Indiaco. check this website shopindiaco.com to see the difference. Asking management to be fair
Love this place. Nice people and always find what I am looking for.
Good Indian grocery shop in the area
Good grocery shop
Nice place to buy Indian spices and stuffs and some of the Nepali spices too. But as compared to the nearby shops its more expensive. Nice choices of vegetables which are mostly fresh and user friendly staffs.
They do not care for their customers, I waited for over an hour on a Saturday morning at the check out line about 30 dee. I will have think twice before I go back. Gave it one start as that was the lowest option available - actual rating (-3)
Very clean store with all essential Indian vegetarian ingredients.
Good place to get all the Indian grocery!
All the indian spices and foods are available
I always visit this place for Indian grocery. It has all the raw material needed to prepare India food at home. The frozen section is not very large but you can find a good selection of fresh vegetables, and other grocery items. I especially like the Phulka roti by Rajulas kitchen, available at this place which can be eaten just by heating in microwave oven.
Best experience. Nice food.
Too crowded. Have plenty of items and varieties. Takes time for billing.
Affordable but no prices on shelves for items
Very well organized and plenty of options.
Super happy to find a store like this!!
Good source for indian groceries
Good variety of food n all. We just didnt like the super slow billing counter which were moving slowly even if people standing in queues for so much time. Glad that they are having points system and coupons. These guys desperately need Increasing number of billing counter. You cant keep asking for name and email if people are getting angry over waiting in a queue.
Great India grocery store 👍
When it was opened they have very competitive price and reward programs. Now its all gone. Bumped up the price as well. But still you get most of the indian groceries and fresh veggies in reasonable price
Good place for indian groceries
They have a good stock of almost everythingBut sometimes many of the items are close to expiry date
Well organized and good selection of products, with friendly service
Best place for all Indian groceries
Very expensive compare to other indian shops
Biling was consumed long time they add more resources might be saved customer time in the covid situation
I think the price was better than other branches (!) Also I could not find parsley however the rest of vegetables were fresh
Initially they will give 20$ in store discount when you reach 500 points. Now they increased that to 2000 points which is very difficult to a single family to reach. It may take more than a year to reach that point. So there is no use of points in this store. I cant accept their promotion with points.
A one stop shop for all my dish needs with warm custmomer service.
Good store. Its on the pricier side compared to Patel brothers for some items. But employees are much more well behaved than Patel brothers.
