This place was great! Had a very good selection of kids books and toys which surprised me. I actually spent a fair amount of time perusing through the books and ended up spending almost $200.

A place to walk in and touch and feel books before buying them from real people. Support your brick and mortar stores. But only shop here if you for some reason cant find a local book store. Smells like a Starbucks which is funny because theyre not really a Starbucks.

Called store spoke to a seller. She checked to see if in stock. Put it aside for me and the book was waiting up front when I arrived. Very convenient

Exquisite place. I was deeply impressed by their recognition of the legendary Octavia Butler and inclusion of her in the sci fi section, albeit her book “Dawn” needs restocking. Is there a poetry section in this place, at all? Easy to get lost in the aisles. Vinyl collection could certainly be expanded. The cafe was devoid of workers. Doesn’t smell like a bookstore. Would still visit again. Kisses.

Ithaca’s best, but they are also way too pricey.

Im confused why no great sales like Syracuse Barnes and noble. I was disappointed that I waited to buy a book I wanted in Ithaca. 😩

The Ithaca Barnes and noble store is a nice bookstore and I go there often. But it is dirty inside the bathrooms are filthy dirty they don’t get cleaned very often the store in general is dirty the carpets are stained the kids area in the back could use some good cleaning. They could put some tables and chairs out in the café for people to sit out with social distancing. I don’t understand why and they are not put out a little bit we can go over and eat next-door at Chili’s and sit in tables in that restaurant but you have nothing open in the café part of Barnes & Noble I do not understand that.

Very helpful staff - the clerk left the service desk and helped me hunt the store for the last remaining copy of a book I planned to give as a gift.

Went I went to a Barnes & Nobles outside of Philadelphia with a good friend of mine. We were looking at childrens book since we both babysit for younger kids and were both high school students. But my friend and I were sitting down and reading them and employees were walking by laughing at us for reading children books. Like what the hell Im reading them to make sure that they are books that the kids havent read before and your just sitting there laughing at us for reading them. Like learn to mind your own business and dont laugh at people for wanting to read childrens books even though they may be adults.

B&N, in Pittsford, was almost as it was pre-Covid. We had coffee and stayed about 30 minutes. It was certainly not crowded. Thank you, B&N

Barnes & Noble is still great no matter what obstacle is thrown. They still have a great inventory and the cafe is still great. Loved coming back to it.

Prices were outrageous, I used to have a membership card and found out that thats no longer active which is unfortunate because I would have purchased a $30 book instead I would rather just get it on Amazon and you associate active more annoyed with the fact that I wasnt going to buy anything and gave up on helping me so I gave up on the store

Just a really good book store, only thing is Its Not A Library people if you want to read the book or magazine but it !!! Dont sit there & read it then put it back cheapskate!! I was picking out some books for my grandchildren. A daunting task. The staff here were very helpful, especially the young lady with the colorful hair. She helped me pick out a couple teen books, and helped me find the sequel to Lionheart, a great book about Richard I . All in all, a positive experience, that Amazon cannot match...personal service.

I went in the other day to look for Fathers Day Gifts. As I was picking up things, I remembered coupons that had come in the mail. I told the Salesperson that was helping me, and she said they would be willing to hold my books so I could come back in a day or so with my coupons. The Person at the Check out Counter took my name and said they could hold them a day or two. I wasnt able to make it back for about 3 or 4 days, and they still had my hold!! When I purchased it, I was able to use 3 of the coupons, plus my B&N discount card!! What A Savings!! Plus, there were Two Special Coupons on the Cash Register Receipt!! One for a Free Coffee or Free Tea! So I got a Free Sm. Iced tea! Then the other coupon was Buy A Cookie/Get One Free--that day only! Of course I got my 2 cookies! What a Deal that day! Thanks!!.

Great bookstore and cafe. I love to go there when I have free time. Although I do not purchase books regularly, I still eat at the cafe while reading a book, without buying it. Good membership deals, ten percent discount on everything for twenty five dollars each year, and it is well worth it if you spend 251 dollars there. Staff are kind and pleasant, and parking is really available. Will recommend.

Love Barnes & Noble, but not this particular time when I purchased a new vinyl record. After driving two hours home I put it on to listen only to find that it was skipping. Called the store and the only thing they could tell me was that I had to bring it back to the store in order for them to do anything about it 😭

Everyone needs a new book and this is my favorite place to shop. The variety is amazing and the staff is helpful most of the time. Not everyone likes the same books so worse comes to worse follow your gut. Then youll simply have another book for your collection. And one can never have enough books.

The staff is really nice. I arrived 15 minutes before closing, apologized profusely, and the staff was more than happy to help me; that is something to be cherished by any company. They didnt once say, Hey, the store is almost closed. Also, after my purchase (like 3 minutes before closing), the cashier who rung me up decided to take more time to show me a new book the store had received and was on display... So, they really didnt rush me. Felt good. Good atmosphere, its quiet, they have a Starbucks inside, bathrooms, a kids play area in the BACK. Check it out.

Woman who claimed to be the manager is a racist (old with shoulder length stringy white hair, glasses, about 55). It was like being in Birmingham Alabama in the 50s and 60s. Was accused of only being in the store to steal, according to this self proclaimed manager my kind dose not read. My kind is a professor at the University. Hmmmm... apparently you dont get to that status by reading. She was also very clear to my wife (Dean of the same University), and our eleven-year-old daughter, she didnt care if we took our business elsewhere... great person. This woman is clearly unhinged and not well.

Sadly, most of the time, the book Im looking for isnt in stock...and Ill just order it from Amazon on my phone rather than order it through the store. But nothing beats the human element. There are times when the kids just want to get their hands on physical books and flip through them, or when you need something smarter than Amazons search to find that book by that author that youve been wanting to read and were just reminded about last week by something a friend said at coffee based on a podcast they just listened to...and humans are still better at finding that title than machines. And, inevitably, when that book isnt in stock, at least you can get a recommendation for something you can walk out of the store with.

This is one of the smaller Barnes and Noble and doesn’t have a massive selection like others, but nonetheless, they do have a pretty comprehensive selection of books to choose from. There is plenty of space to sit down and enjoy a good book before buying. You can also get a nice hot cup of coffee and scone to go with it. The staff is always delightful and eager to help you find what you’re looking for.

My dad and I came in to quickly pick up some books for our flight and the employees were super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately one of the books he wanted was defaced AND the last copy, but the customer service associates were very nice and helped him get a different one. They offered to order him a new one too. Definitely will come again when Im in the area.

The Ithaca Store on rte. 13 has knowledgeable booksellers who are young, but who read. They have GREAT storytime for the young, and book groups for the young at heart. I wish this was my local B&N.💚💚💚💙💙💙

I know its not a local book store but I still love all bookstores and always will have a place in my heart (and wallet) for B&N. This location is a decent size with a good selection and helpful staff. It also has a good size seating area which is always nice to take a break since I usually go for a long time to peruse and find books I wouldnt have looking through things online.

The game section is amazing. I love puzzles and mystery games and there are alot to choose from. Being in a bookstore is like a candy shop to me...so much to choose from!

It hard to recommend a book store in the year 2018 due to paying increased prices for the same material online.However, this location does feature a Starbucks and most books and magazines can be read while enjoying our morning coffee and or baked good.Frazzleberry gives Barnes and Nobles a 2.0 out of 3.0!

Its a nice quiet place to browse but its easy to understand why people prefer buying books online. Their selection isnt what it used to be, and of course you are paying full retail sticker price on most books whereas they are discounted on sites like Amazon.The checkout process here is always slow and laborious as they have one station open and typically 4-5 people waiting in line. Then you cant complete a transaction without being asked all kinds of extraneous questions.

Excellent book store and very informative staff. The coffee shop is top shelf. Always have good sales on current titles.

Great full line bookstore. Abundant shelves. Cafe and the sitting areas very adequate. The cafe service is quick and the drink choices and sweet treat choices are high quality.

Everyone seems to be practicing social distancing and mask wearing. Starbucks seating area is open with limited tables and they ask you to limit your visit to approximately 30 minutes.

Condition of the store: It is air conditioned and very clean inside. All the books and products are organized.Products: there is a wide variety of things from books to toys and board games to model kits. There is even a child section at the back. The store seems to have the latest products when they come out, it takes a couple of weeks but the newest items, for gundam model kits for example, are there.There is even a little starbucks inside. Im not sure if all barnes and nobles have this but it is a nice addition. There is also an area with chairs, tables, and couches for you to read and relax.Overall this has become one of my favorite stores, mainly because of the model kits. Their prices are accurate to that of the original seller plus like 3 or 5 dollars because, well, they have to make money somehow. Anyway this store is great. 10/10 for me.
