Love shopping here, pretty much guaranteed to get something great because their buyers are so great at their jobs. Lovely atmosphere, super helpful staff.

A great local bookstore. They offer a Drag Storytime the last Sunday of the month. The storytellers were great and packed their stories with a lot of additional information. As entertaining for adults as it is kids. There are comfortable places to sit and a very welcoming shop.

Buffalo Street Books is a wonderful independent bookstore in Ithaca--and is a cooperative so people can buy a share. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the new release, fiction, and childrens sections are especially strong. The bookstore also works hard to cultivate strong ties to the community and to schedule interesting events.

Its a nice shop to browse books. The attendants were kind and they had a decent selection of books. I would like to see more available in certain genres when they finish renovations. I also would like to see more items on sale. Everything was priced as is and that makes business a little harder because they cant afford a book sale.

My favorite thing about this book stores that they still do release events for books. And they also have other events that are definitely cool. I try to order all my books here because I dont want this place to go out of business. theyve had some trouble in the past staying in business so go here spend your money on books if you can.

Unique bookstore. Its not going to have every title, but its a fun place to browse. Many people in town are part owners, which adds to the quirky charm. Fun place!

I love this place! Aside from having a well selected collection, there is a shelf for local writers and poets. Thats so special! Definitely would love to visit this shop again.

Its wonderful and peaceful and smells fabulous.I always order from BSB instead of online.Its also a good place to get calendars and planner books. A decent selection of moleskine, and a few others.

I like books. You like books? They got new books, old books, all sorts of books. Their selection isnt necessarily the widest, but they also have a dedicate foreign language section in the back.

Cute little independent bookstore, but I was really disappointed with their SF/F collection, which had nothing but the latest poorly written bestsellers. If you only have room for one shelf, you might as well stock it tastefully.
