I’ve been to a few Goodyear shops, by far this one has been the BEST!!! They where professional and timely. They got me in right at 7:30am when they open, which makes a big difference for me because I had to get to work. I defiantly will be coming back here for any repairs or oil changes I need again!Shout out to Ryan & Mike for the great help today!!!

After being told at a different business that the nail in my tire was too large to patch, I took my car to Mike Perez at Monument Road Tire & Service. He was able to quickly patch the hole. Guess where I will be headed when it’s time to buy new tires. Great service!

Came here for my first time today, had a nail in my tire and needed it patched. I came back a couple hours later to pick it up and the gentleman at the counter says No Charge..... I was shocked. This is the type of attitude we need in this world today. This family owned business here of monument rd is definitely going to go far and they know how to treat their customers. They are usually pretty though, was disappointed this time, I specifically asked about an issue I was having with finding an oil leak, the gentleman who took my reservation said that would be no problem, when they had it up theyd see what they could do. When it was time to check out no one said anything about the problem until I asked. And at that point was told I would have to bring it back, and they would have to wash it down and see what they could find. I also thought the air filter came with an oils change, was told they didnt have my size. Bought one on the way home.

Very nice and professional. I brought my SUV to this shop because one of my tires dropped 10psi in one day. In less than a hour they called me to let me know my SUV was ready for pick up. The guys at this GOODYEAR ARE Good! They do good follow up and quality work, are friendly and knowledgeable. Ive been using various Goodyear Tire Service locations since 1975 on the East Coast & West Coast. Each shop is different but to date, Monument has done a lot better than most.Nina, I just heard the news passed away this month May 11, 2021. It broke my heart when they informed me as I hadnt see her for awhile. The guys and Mr. Peterson are doing well dealing with their lost. We all can give our support to them at their lost of a dear family and teammate at Monument Goodyear.Ryan & Mike always go the extra mile for their customers. Now that they have a good working team. I appreciate all the extra work theyve done in keeping my 97 Dodge Ram on the road. I definitely recommend Monument Goodyear!

Can I Give Them More Than 5 Stars? I live in Jax, coach a U15 Girls Volleyball team in Fernandina. On Sat (11/21), I needed a valve stem replaced and had less than hour to get it repaired or would have to cancel our girls first event of the year. Several places including this location told me to leave the truck. I filled the tire, drove to the location. Mike, the mgr, and Ryan asked what the problem was. I told them and sd I understand Im asking a lot. Last season was canceled for Covid, Ive had a player placed in quarantine right now and these players and families need something positive. Mike interrupted me and said where are the keys - we have your back. About 20 mins later, my truck was sitting in front of store, both guys said Good Luck with your match! I attempted to tip them $20 to buy lunch - Mike said Ill take a fist bump and future business.I made it to the match with 10mins to spare. Called the store and again offered to buy lunch. Mike said, no problem. Happy to help. I offered to post on internet and Mike suggested Google. Mike, heres your post. You really dont realize how many families your actions Saturday affected. In a year of crazy - Mike and Ryan were superstars. Cant begin to tell you how many people ive told since to give Goodyear on Monument a shot at your business. I am someone who will pay a little more for consistent honest service. I wish I could do more for these two guys and the unnamed staff working in the back. First class is an understatement considering Ive never been in the store before, no prior relationship, and frankly seemed to recall hearing negative things years ago. We voted to give no individual awards for performance on Saturday. Instead, the team voted to give Mike and the Staff @ Goodyear-Monument our MVP Award. Mike - you da man! Whatever youre doing - keep it up. For today, Ill just say Thank You, but moving forward, you have my business! Give them a shot if youre in the area!

At the end of the horrible day at work, on the way to pick up my wife for a dentist appointment, my partner tire started to lose air quickly. I manage to safely find a spot and replace, but I need to get my tire fixed asap. I brought it to this location since it was the closest and recieved amazing customer service and care. Will come again if the need arises and Ill inform my friends and Co workers about this place.

Man I was visiting my best friend from Atlanta and I needed tires sooo bad! Man Mike P helped me out and gave me the best price and customer service in town!! Very good customer service here, i went in for a brake job and they didnt try to up sell me at all and were very fast on getting my Traverse back to me in a timely fashion, i will be going here for now on for all my vehicle needs and repairs. They are very honest and straight forward. I will recommend this Goodyear shop to all my family and friends. Im new to the area and Ive found the best car care by chance. Ive done a lot of reviews on news papers and for corporate purposes and Im glad to write this one. My experience there was above average, I call it outstanding! These are hard working people who actually care, their humbleness and honesty are on point. My wife and I just had a ton of work done to our Jeep, and they went beyond your typical car care center. They actually enjoyed my wife happy reaction to all the work they did, so we know they take pride on their job. The owners & management go beyond what is required of them, they really work with you to make things work. When it comes to price, they definitely care to give you the best possible deal with the best quality products. The only negative is that they dont have ice cream!

Very fine family business that cares about its customers. They work to keep you happy and keep earning your business. Ive been getting my tires and service/maintenance with them on 3 vehicles for many years.

After multiple years, services, and vehicles, they have lost our family’s trust and our business. We brought a used vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection and they said everything checked out great so we purchased it for our son. Four days later, he was broken down in a small town in GA with a bad alternator, a nearly $500 repair. Called for a refund of the inspection fee but they doubled down. Is it really worth losing a long-time customer over less than $50?

The staff is really friendly and informative. They were able to see our car immediately on our way through town. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone!

I unfortunately bought my tires here. I went to get them rotated, balanced and aligned. First off they couldnt align them because their machine was down. Id let that slide but they completely screwed up the balancing. My car drove worse than before!

There is a like / not like with this place. They give good service. BUT I had them work in my car and asked if they could do the job and they said yes. I told them I could take it to the dealership but they assured me that they could do it. Damage to make car later and took a bit off the price to cover the damage and the item still does not work properly. All other stuff like tires and oil change is good.

After coming here for years with no problems..that has now changed as of this year. Back on March 2nd I had an appointment first thing Saturday morning to get new wheels, oil change, alignment and have the spark plugs and brakes checked. I was told it would only take an hour or two...that turned into an all day affair when I got a call close to 5 that I could pick up my car..I was told then that the spark plugs and brakes were good but that I would need to come back another day for an alignment (at not cost) because they did not have enough time. A few days later I noticed that all four of my rims were all scratched up, which told me then who ever services my car had no care for others property. Well as of yesterday (6.21.19) while commuting from one place to another for work..one of my brakes went metal on metal..so now fast forward to today where I am once again .. at another place on a saturday morning paying for not only brakes now but the whole kit for my front end...the picture I have of my front passenger side proves that this was not over night and that Goodyear Never checked them...now 300.00 later I sit here wondering what else was not done other than getting a new set of wheels from you...that day not only did you cost me my time and my trust in you but now more money out of my pocket when this could have been rectified and done properly and honestly to begin with!

My tire with plenty of tread left on it came apart. Took it to the dealership to have them tell me its not their problem and would be 1250$ for new tires. Key Hyundai is worthless once you buy a car, they charged me 40$ because they put it on a rack to look at it. Took it to Goodyear on monument this morning as driving on that is not a good thing, charged me 600$ out the door for the same tires at Key free alignment with the set and replaced my cabin air filter these guys are great and great customer service.

My car was broke down on the side of the road because my donut tire was flat. They sent a tow truck and fixed my tire and the donut tire and didnt charge me a penny above the tow charge. I would highly recommend this place. I thought they were super nice!

We just had a car fixed there. Charged us $1300. 3 days later went back due to noise. They’re trying to get another $536. Not happy at all with this place! Do not waste your money here!

After recommending this place for years I am revising my review to 1 star. A recent brake job for a friend was completely messed up and gave us a truck that wouldnt stop! Not safe and obviously wasnt test driven. Upon confronting the head mechanic he was lied to saying a caliper was frozen (truck has 50k miles and was dealer maintained before this). Will not be going back.

I have - stupidly - continued to use Monument tire for simple repairs over the years; however, there is always a new issue once theyve completed the repair. For example, I had my oil replaced just a few weeks ago and I immediately sensed another problem with the car - its now out of alignment courtesy of Monument Tire rotating my tires - which I never asked them to do. So I scheduled an alignment (giving them the benefit of doubt - again stupidly) for 10:00 today. I arrived a few minutes early, handed them my keys and settled in for what I figured might take an hour . . . . . 2 hours later and no car in sight, I asked the owner for a status and she shared that the car was stuck behind another car awaiting repairs. Let me be very clear on this - at NO time did they even make an attempt to inform me of any delay and were, in fact, surprised that I was there despite my appt and them having my key and car. I asked for my keys and car since i was so pissed with their lack of service and more importantly, their complete lack of consideration.I will NEVER again darken their doorstep and I strongly encourage you to consider this advice. Go find a reputable dealer and stay away from this one. Just total BS and nonsense - a simple 10 minute repair and they dont have the common sense or decency to inform a customer about a situation impacting their ability to repair - Im sure there are many other shops where you can get your repairs, pay a reasonable price and get on your way . . . . . just not this one.

Horrible service! Asked for an an alignment two weeks in a row. First time they lost the paperwork. Next time the lady said I never asked for it.Had brakes installed in September and they have squealed for five months. I brought the car in three different times and was told on all three circumstances that it was condensation building up on the brakes. Finally they decided to deglaze the brake pads which slightly improved the problem but did not correct the problem. They did ultimately replaced the brake pads with an upgrade and warranteed out the brakees at an additional cost.Each time the car was brought in they would find new problems with the car and ultimately tried to blame the squealing on the rear brakes that they failed to catch the three previous visits. Please note that they installed the rear brakes approximately two years prior.I brought the car in in October as there was an issue with the car starting and I was told that the battery was bad and the alternator was bad. Decided to get a second opinion at the car dealership and the battery itself was still under warranty and the alternator did not have a problem.If youre looking to take your car to a place and get poor service where they lie to you about what is wrong with your vehicle despite the dealership confirming that nothing is wrong with your car then this is the right place for you!

Had us in and out in 45 minutes as opposed to a 3 hour wait at Walmart.

Broke off the oil filler cap on my vehicle (its a push-down-and-turn, like a medicine bottle; they clearly just wrenched it off, tool marks were obvious). Refused to replace it, claiming it just broke spontaneously. Wanted me to pay them to order one from another state, and wait a week for it to come in. I bought a new one at an auto parts store the same day, for half of what they wanted to charge me for the privilege of having them break it. They took no responsibility, and offered nothing to make it right. AVOID.

I was willing to give it a shot, even with the bad review. The employee at the front desk actually argued with Me that it was ok to inflate tires on a 4x4 truck to different pressures front and rear (everyone knows its not), then actually tried to tell Me that the Max pressure on My sidewall is the Max hot pressure,(which its not). I had to twist their arm to convince them to inflate them to 80 psi, then checked them when I got home, they where 75 psi, not the worst experience ever but certainly not on My favorites list.

I have never felt so strongly that a business owner and their staff were as crooked as snakes as I do about this business. If you want to know what their reputation is, ask anyone in the automotive industry from any part of Jacksonville about Monument Tire and Auto and you will get the same answer I got. Everyone strongly warned me. Unfortunately it was after they worked (HACKED) on my car. I wish I had asked someone before driving into their parking lot for a repair. Oh, if you think NAPA is expensive just wait until you get the invoice for parts that is marked up 100% or more than NAPAs retail. When I brought this to their attention I was told we are an independent store and you dont know where we bought the parts. So true, so no NAPA warranty I would presume. BUYER BEWARE. I bought a 3 year warranty, but even that wont convince me to EVER go back to these unreliable bandet of theives..

My girlfriend took her truck here because her dash board break light was on. They ran a $40 diagnostic check on the fault light, and they told her that they needed to flush her break fluid (this same place flushed her break fluid 3 months prior) and have her break fluid resevor and sensor replaced. For a total of $350. She didnt want to spend that much money so she left. Later that day I looked at it and noticed that the break fluid was slightly above minimum so I put some break fluid in it just because. And of course the break fault light went away. $7 fix. Not $350.
