Whoever the little girl was at the front counter with the stank attitude definitely needs to be replaced she had an issue coming to an aisle just to show me where something was so she decided to spell it out like I don’t know how to spell the word toner because I asked her to show me where it was because I knew I kept overlooking it. Also right after I asked for her help and she refused to help me, somebody else asked for her help and she had to come to the same aisle I was on looking for the stuff but she wouldn’t do that for me for some reason and once again was ignorant and rude towards me don’t work somewhere if you don’t know where the stuff is it is that simple you don’t have to be rude.

Great experience some products was very reasonable some are leaning towards too expensive and i did find the same products over $7-10 cheaper always shop around without spending too much on gas because it wouldnt be a bargain.

They always have everything I need for styles, wigs, supplies and accessories. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly with good sanitation practices. The store is tidy and well organized.

I just left this store where the two employees were talking about a customer that asked a question about some hair and she was told to ask the owner when she walked off she stated she didn’t fell like that today and she doesn’t like answering the phone because “people be calling asking how much something cost I be like bruh I don’t feel like that I’m not about to answer all those questions’ we are customers and if it wasn’t for Customers neither of them would have a job. I will never patronize this establishment again because of the rudeness. When I go to Beauty Depot I am greeted with employees who are dressed and I know they work there because they ask if they can help and they don’t look like they rolled out of bed to come to work as the two in Beauty Max looked as if it was laundry day.

Beauty max? More like wig max. All they have are wigs & extensions. We went for hair products for straightening hair and found nothing. Might just be our fault but uh... its more of a wig shop XD

I am an older white lady with mixed race granddaughters and i went to this store for advice and the lady that I dealt with was very helpful and knowledgeable and patient with me as i am learning how I deal with my grand babies hair i wished I would have caught her name

The Chinese guy was disrespectful Im not sure if its the owner or what I came in with a stroller with my baby in it and he approached me and asked me to leave the stroller hes crazy never again the customer experience is not worth getting anything in this store

Cashier was excellent! That is the only reasons for three stars. The sales person on the floor was on her cell phone and seemed bothered when I asked for assistance. She pointed to a section in the store to direct me to a product, stating it’s either on row 2 or 3 while she continued texting on her phone. Consequently, what I needed was actually on row 4. She needs Chic fil- a training.

I can always find what I am looking for. I have very soft and dry hair and when I get it done that is one of the few places in Jacksonville that I can find the products I need at a reasonable price. The staff goes out of their way to help you if you need it.

Most of the styles are the same short or long part in the middle or dread locks or braids which are fine but My preference are very long thick hair with loose curls or waves with a swoop bang going to the left.Couldnt fine anything in the whole store like that..The store needs a bigger variety of styles..The store it self was nice and clean and neat the cashier was very welcoming sweet and professional..This was my 3rd time ever visiting this particular store and each time it was clean and neat just please get a bigger variety and you will keep me coming back.🙏👍

Theyre always close before closing time! I think thats very poor for business. If you have a closing time then you must stay open to the public until that time. Youre running a business with customers who want to spend their money with you. We shouldnt have to practically beg you all to let us to do business with you within your business hours!!

Ethnic beauty supply store. Lots of weave! Poor customer service. I explained to the young lady behind the counter that Im not familiar with buying hair for braids, showed her the text from my braider letting me know what I needed. And she pointed and said its over there. I went to the area that she pointed to and had no idea what I needed to get. I returned and asked for her help. She stood looking at me and a few seconds later said ok. I asked if she could help me and she said yeah thats what I said. She did help me once I was able to get her to come. Lol! Smh!

Didnt experience what the previous reviewer experienced. I dont even recall music playing there. Anyway they literally pretty much had everything I needed as a barber. They even sell barber poles and flags. They have all the latest clippers/barber products. Dont think they had barber equipment though (chairs, stations, sinks) dont recall seeing them. Now I dont do womens hair but from what I saw there was everything a stylist would need there as well. Very big selection. Only down side of shopping there is I dont think they price match like Sallys does. Maybe they do, not too sure. 5 stars anyway.

This used to be my place to go until today. Yesterday I spent a bit over 1 hour looking for some items, while on FaceTime with a friend. My total purchase, with no discounts was close to $90. Today I returned for some extra stuff. A guy approached me asking me if I needed help, to which I responded I’m fine. Then he said, I heard you were here for 3 hours taking pictures... I DID NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES, I was on FaceTime with the person doing the hair for me. He clearly had some sort of a preconceived perception of me. So I asked him if he had a problem and wanted me to leave. He said yes. CUSTOMERS GO TO YOUR STORE TO SHOP AROUND AND BUY ITEMS. I DO HAVE A RECEIPT FOR MY PURCHASE. YOU MAY FEEL ENTITLED AS AN OWNER TO DISRESPECT PEOPLE, BUT I DO NOT TAKE DISRESPECT LIGHTLY. Product, extensive selection, CUSTOMER SERVICE -0- stars. IF YOU cannot treat me right, you do not get the PRIVILEGE of my SUPPORT, my BUSINESS or my RECOMMENDATION. WOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!! Lack of respect equals no business from me. Im normally a little self conscience about buying wigs, but Tina made my experience great. She was very patient, friendly, and helpful during my try on process. She went above and beyond to assist me in choosing my new hair. I bought two wigs thanks to her. I will definitely shop here again.

I was very happy with the selection of wigs and the service I received with them. It was my first time buying a wig. The young lady was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I cant say the same for the woman behind do the counter who was too busy stuffing her face to even say the total amount of my sale. She just pointed at the number on the register while taking a bite of her sandwich. Ill go back for the wig selection but only purchase from the young lady who originally helped me (I wish I could remember her name).

The store is spacious clean and has a wide variety of items to choose from. The reason I give it 2 stars is because of the staff. They didnt greet me when I came in, I was in the store for 20 minutes no one came to ask did I need help, and when I checked out the individual who took care of my purchase sat in a chair behind the register amd I literally had to reach over the counter to give her my money and receive my change...no thank you come again just hot up out the xhair and walked off (SMH). To the management you guys need to hire better cashiers or at least give them some customer service training.

I visited This store for the last time. I remember when the store first opened and everyone was so pleasant and professional, but now... they do follow you around the store which is to be expected since their is usually high theft at beauty supply stores but my goodness don’t be so obvious. To be honest all the employees with the exception of one lady who was over in the salon area was engulfed in personal conversation and when I asked the First Lady for help it was a half done job I could tell she just wanted to get back to her convo with the girls behind the counter. The second lady asked if I needed help. She was polite but I didn’t need her help. Five minutes later a third lady asked if I needed help. She started off okay tried to do a little small talk but I didn’t need her so my mom and I kept shopping. When I did need her help she became unprofessional and showed very little tact. She made two rude comments but my mom and I played it off because to be honest I was two seconds away from dropping my basket in the middle of the isle, but my mom gave me that look to chill and just made conversation with the lady who tried to sale her a wig. Yea no hun. Lost that sale with the back handed compliment and unprofessional comments. Went to check out the girls behind the counter were slow to acknowledge me because they were having a conversation between themselves and with someone across the store. Didn’t give me my total because they were too busy talking to their mother who walked in to talk about getting deposits in their accounts and what she was cooking for dinner. This is the first time I’ve experienced anything like that in this store and I usually buy things from there every time I visit Jacksonville. They don’t have to worry about me coming back though. There are plenty more supply stores.
