Thank you Shipley Do-Nuts for getting my order in last minute the day before, and having it ready for me in the morning by 7am.The donuts were fresh and delicious. I loved all the assorted flavors. My team enjoyed them very much.Now if only you could give access to order online and deliver them as early. I would love y’all more.The price range is decently high. $22 for a gallon of coffee is a bit too much for a regular brew. Otherwise I would definitely come back for more donuts. :)

First time visiting, I had a craving for a good Pumpkin Donut 🍩. I was not disappointed the quality and flavor was perfect. Dont forget about the Apple Fritters. (Also in my box)

The server that was initially available seemed to be panicking while helping the costumers ahead of us & over talked herself and pushed her recommendation to the costumers that she didn’t really listen to their questions. She had to call for back up to help us and explain herself to the back up that she didn’t really need him but narrated a long long explanation on why she called for him. It got frustrating watching it, it got loud in the small space. The donuts were good, coffee I bought was old and warm but too frustrated to ask for a new one so we left. Enjoyed the donuts at home with my new home brewed coffee.

I’m from Houston and I grew up eating Shipley donuts and hands down Shipley donuts are THE BEST donuts I’ve ever tried! Every time I go back to Houston, I make sure I visit Shipley donuts!(I’m an unofficial donut connoisseur 🤓. I’ve eaten donuts up and down both coasts and everywhere in between 🍩😋).I think the secret to Shipley donuts is the potato flour they use which gives the donuts a very unique puffy soft texture. Also, the donuts are not overly sweetened.So I tried the donuts at the Jacksonville location on opening day (12/09/20), and I went back today (12/10/20), and their donuts are exactly how I remember them back in Houston! Simply Delicious!!!The donuts on opening day had a few problems with them, but it’s been corrected and it’s awesome that the team from Texas will be at this location for the first month to make sure everything goes smoothly!Even though they’re open till 6:00 pm, they actually stop making donuts around noon, so after that, they start running out of their selections and it’s first come first serve. So be sure to come earlier in the day!

Went here after 4 pm and I was expecting stale donuts, but lo and behold, they tasted fresh! I ordered 1/2 dozen. The chocolate filled donuts were my favorite. The flavor and consistency of the yeast donuts I think can compete with the Donut shoppe in University blvd. Ill definitely be back to try the other flavors!

This was my first🥇time at a Shipley donut shop. Right when I walked🚶‍♀️in a gush of 🌬wind scented with fresh baked goodness♨️filled my👃nostrils.The donuts🍩sell at a very reasonable🤑price and taste👍great. Not only do they have☕🍩🍵donuts but they also have these🌯wrapped up sausages called Kolaches. So if you love fresh🥖bread with sausage and🧀cheese than youve got to try😋it.

Went to Shipleys on Atlantic and Kernan and was super impressed with the service. I’m picky about my coffee and Darius (pretty sure that was his name) made it perfect and was super friendly. Will visit again just for the great service.

First time here... decent variety of donuts for coming in at 1pm.

Not a good or restaurant critique but the doughnuts here can be described as deep, rich and even elegant.Most definitely a quality cut. If these doughnuts were a steak, theyd be a prime rib.....but not at that price.This location is small in terms of footprint and square feet. So caution in navigating the quick drive though and pedestrian traffic should be considered.So, I deducted a ⭐ for that. 🍩

I really enjoy their donuts and coffee. Today was our 2nd time there and the guy (wish I had gotten his name) was so friendly and helpful! With so many tasty food stops to choose from, the service is of utmost importance to me. Well, you guys nailed both great goods and service, plus you made my daughter very happy with her cherry sprinkled donut! Thanks guys :)

I love Shipleys. I grew up on Shipleys and was very happy when they opened one in Jacksonville, even though I have to drive 50 miles round trip. The reason for 4 stars is I dont think this one quite has it together yet. They were close but the taste wasnt quite the same. I still ate 3 hot glazed! and 2 chocolate milks!

I am so excited to have a Shipley’s in Jacksonville! Having grown up in Texas so close to where they originated, they have always been my family’s go-to for donuts and breakfast. Always fresh and handmade!

Due to short staff closed at 3pm today, yet google says open until 6pm, would be great to update Google daily to prevent choosing a place based on what Google says your hours are, sorry short staff but communicating hours thru internet platforms is part of the job as well.

Despite being out of cinnamon donuts, I was able to find several donuts here that I absolutely loved. The cinnamon twist were fantastic, and large enough for me to split and share with my son.The staff was very helpful and courteous, and the establishment was very clean. I look forward to returning.

Food is always fabulous. I love this place. However, they are slow at taking orders. They seem to spend to much time talking and not paying closer attention to their long lines. I have noticed this on several occasions. Workers could be a little more groomed as well. It is otherwise a wonderful place to get donuts and taste much better than Dunkin Donuts.

Surprisingly good.. i didnt like the pistachio smoothie.. smoothie to me must be thick. This was water down. Ill stick with the bottle of drinks instead.

The store was clean and staff friendly. Was there around 2pm, so they weren’t very busy. Large selection of donuts was available for the time it was. However I wasn’t overly impressed with the donuts. Most of the yeast donuts were not glazed and I get like it could use more sweetness. The glazed one was quite good though. Apple fritter was pretty good too, but I prefer the ugly at donut shoppe.

The doughnuts are unbelievable great! They (my opinion) are better than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme. I would definitely go back

I was born in Greenville, MS in the 80s... Shipleys Donuts is and was like a member of the family... It brings nothing but good childhood memories.

Arrived at about 1pm. They were out of 4/5 of the donuts we wanted to order. Google shows they close at 6pm so not sure why they didnt have any more cream cheese rolls, blueberry donuts or even the chocolate cake donut. Based on previous reviews, we were excited to try this place out, but I guess it was a bad day for them.

Best donuts I’ve had...ever. Dunkin, Krispy creme, minibar and other local donut shops don’t compare. Good customer service, Cristina (one of the owners) is so kind. Left my card by accident and she was even willing to get my information so I could pay after I came back. Not too many people like this. Highly recommend, especially in the morning!

Shipley Donuts are the best. Im from Houston and every morning on my way to work, cars would be lined up for the best donuts in town. There would be a staff taking your order outside. Great place.

We drove 2 hours to indulge in these donuts. So worth the drive.

I arrived around 6:45 a.m. this morning and luckily either beat the line or made it after the first line. Just one person ahead of me. Most donuts were in stock, with many being replenished while I was there. I tried the cinnamon roll, original cinnamon roll, blueberry cake, and chocolate frosted. Donuts were delicious and staff was very friendly. This is definitely a welcome addition to the area and it is nice to have a place like this within walking distance. Im looking forward to trying more of the delicious treats in the future.

Great first experience. The lady taking my drive thru order was knowledgeable and made sure I knew what I was getting. Most places don’t care and will just place the order. Good customer service and the food was hot and fresh. Pretty sure it was made to order.

We were excited to try this place out given the great reviews, but were left disappointed with our experience. Their menu and pricing are a bit confusing, as they do not offer a truly assorted dozen. Before ordering we were told that any donuts would be charged as a dozen, except for the large items, which would be charged separately(cinnamon roll, bear claw, etc.). So we ordered a mixture of a dozen donuts and cake donuts - the price for a dozen mixed donuts is $11.99, the price for a dozen cake donuts is $11.99. However, we were charged for the price of each individual donut because we didnt have a dozen of just regular donuts OR just cake donuts. We questioned the cashier and he seemed confused about the pricing himself and didnt make an effort to make an effort to clear up our concerns or ask a manager. As for the donuts, theyre a better dunkin. The glaze was just okay and a bit light and dry. The cherry iced just tasted sweet, no actual cherry flavor. The filled donuts barely had any filling. Next time Ill just go to Krispy Kreme.

Excellent first experience. Was a bit crowed but that is to be expected with the rush of interested individuals. I purchased 2 dozen mixed and couldnt find a donut I didnt enjoy. Great quality and size along with selection. Dunkin from 20+ years was probably the most similar comparison (when they used to be a good donut shop).

This place is awesome! Their apple fritters are actual apple fritters, the kind where you really dont need to eat anything else the rest of the day because they are so huge! What I noticed as well is that their donuts are still good the next day too, unlike Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. Every donut Ive tried there is delicious! I have also had their Kolaches as well and they are equally as good. Highly recommend Shipley!!

I just went here for the first time and man, these were delicious. We tried the devils food with chocolate filling, glazed, and vanilla with chocolate frosting. Devils food and glazed were definitely the favorites. This place makes me never want to go to Dunkin again.

The staff was rude and seemed extremely irritated that I needed a moment to read the menu since Ive never been there before. I ordered a coffee and a cinnamon roll. The coffee was meh and the cinnamon roll was still raw dough in the middle..... I would say Shipley Do-not go here.

The new Shipleys on Beach Blvd is amazing. I’m just so blown away by the customer service there.I stopped in yesterday afternoon and as a supervisor at a customer service phone call center I totally want to steal these workers.Special thanks to candy, Eleanor, Carley and Demetrius. It’s hard to teach great customer service! These workers are genuine and sincere and they made my day. I’ll be back regularly

Staying in Jacksonville for a couple of days and liked it so much, I came in again the next day.We had couple chocolate and strawberry glazed doughnuts and a couple of the kolaches (kind of like pig in a blanket)

My granddaughter wanted donuts. Sooooo i stopped at dunkin and any donut she asked for they didnt have. I said this is dunkin donuts right!?!? So I remembered about 1 mile away was another donut shop. We pulled into Shipley Do-Nuts and ordered away. We ordered 1/2 dozen. I paid the very nice man at the window and he said oh you have a little one back there hold on....he gave her a pink frosted sprinkle donut. Wow just wow. Great customer service. We will definitely go back and the donuts are DELICIOUS!!!!

Sooo happy to finally have a Shipleys here in Florida!! Ive totally missed it since leaving Texas in 2011. It taste just like home. Only Shipleys will you be able to enjoy a doughnut cold that still taste just as good. My favorites- original glazed doughnut and the jalapeno cheese kolache. If you dont know what a kolache is- come on in and get you some!! 🙂 Owner is great too, along with the friendly staff.

Was over charged for my half dozen. I picked 5.99 and was charged 6.99 plus tax. But, they were good over all.

It took too long to get a Shipleys in Jax. Other national doughnut shop chains need to respect this on point product. I worked in a bakery and know how K. Kream & D. Dunk short you on doughnut filling and cut other corners in the product. Jacksonville with Shipley in the house, you now have a place that does it right. Thanks Shipley! Im so glad a little piece of my home town in Texas has come to Jacksonville. I didnt even mind driving 20 minutes out of the way. The food was great, but the gentleman working the window made the experience even better. I cant remember his name but whoever was working the drive thru the morning of January 14th and 15th has by far the best customer service I have seen in a long time.

Really disappointed, first time and was excited to go. No pumpkin donuts so I went to my favorite which is blueberry cake. They were cold and hard, tactile feel was that they were overcooked. Eating them and they have zero blueberry flavor and leave a greasy aftertaste. They leave a non pleasant coating on the inside of my mouth like grease, shortening or cooking oil. Service was okay but the lady helping me didnt know what the product in the front window was. Ended up feeding the seagulls in the parking lot with them. ( if they ate them) lol

Shipleys Do-Nuts isnt your typical donut place, I mean if you look at dunkin, they dont make fresh donuts, but when we arrived at shipleys this morning, the donuts were coming out of the oven, you dont have to worry about fresh because they are made in store. Same with their kaloches, which were absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic, and even while waiting the staff if very friendly. The place was spotless and the outdoor seating was a huge benefit.

We have never been to a shipleys. As soon as we walked in the guys were so welcoming! It was also the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen with all thoseDonuts on display! We were only planning on getting two but they hyped us up so much that we left with half a dozen. Demetrius and his coworker were just amazing.On to the donuts: I HAVE NEVER TASTED A DONUT SO GLORIOUS!We do not like Dunkin because they are super dry...Krispy kreme is our go to. But not anymore. Shipleys just blew them out of the water!!!THANK YOU!!!

Every thanksgiving I would go too Houston and get Shipleys, and now that we have our very own on the east coast, I couldn’t be anymore happy! The Kolachies and donuts Still taste amazing as ever. The staff is very kind and patient. Amazing job guys.

Wonderful donuts. Please check them out when you get a chance. Similar price to other major chain donut store on Atlantic. Since they just opened today, make sure you get there early if you want to have the most variety to choose from.

I ordered donuts and their kocalaks. They gave me the wrong donuts and not all of the hot dog things. They say sausages but its more like tiny hot dogs. Im really disappointed about the price vs. What you recieve. Though the donuts i did get; they werent bad so I gave it 2 stars. But I will sadly still go to Dunkin for my donuts.
